Prologue:
(Astrid): The story that I want to tell you cannot be found in a book. They say the history of the Dunwyn was written from the paw of a gummi bear but it's never been told from the heart of one, not till now.
(Spirit): I was born here in this place that would come to be called The Middle ages but in my opinion it's not in the middle of anything. There was no beginning and no end, no boundary between the earth and sky.
(Astrid): Like the wind in the gummi berry bushes we belonged here. We would always belong here.
(Spirit): Some also say the mustang is the spirit of the Dunwyn. Whether that age was won or lost in the end you'll have to decide for yourself but the story I want to tell you is true. I was there, and I remember. I remember the sun and the sky and the wind calling my name in a time when wild horses ran free.
(A crowd of horses appear and gallop over hills and valleys, happy to be free.)
This takes place right after Cartoon Shakespeare's Drifted together so go and read that before you read this:
All the gummi bears and Calvin crowd into Gusto and Sammi's room around their bed. Sammi lies in bed with Gusto right next to her holding their brand new newborn cub. The mother was sweaty and tired from their recent rescue from Drekmore. But after that capture, holding her infant daughter was everything she wanted along with a loving mate. The remaining gummi bears gasped and awed over the family:
"Awww, she is so cute!"Said Sunni.
"Awww , I wanted it to be a boy," exclaimed Cubbi.
"Be nice Cubbi!" yelled Gruffi.
Sammi smiled. Then the tiny cub began to stir and opened her tiny eyes, everyone crept closer to the bed to look at the cub. She had long curly red hair and red orange fur with hazel green eyes. Gusto and Zummi began to coo and swoon over the baby. The newborn cub smiled and laughed at the new faces around her. Gusto absolutely loved Sammi when he first met her and now he was a father to his new daughter. The baby began to whimper and get fussy implying that she is hungry.
" Come on now the family should rest" Grammi said as she tries to push everyone out the door
Right before Cubbi went out he looked back.
"What's you gonna call her?" Everyone then looked back to hear Sammi's response.
When Sammi first found out she was pregnant, her late husband Johnni had decided of one name if it was a girl
"Astrid" Sammi says, breaking the silence. " I will name her Astrid, in her fathers honor."
"Astrid" breathed Gusto "well baby girl, welcome to gummi glen, I am your father and we are all happy that you and your beautiful mother are a part of our family." Gusto said.
Everyone smiled and a few tears were shed by Gusto's words as they slowly walked out of the room not daring to break sight of the new family. As Sammi sang an old song to the baby, Astrid started to fall to sleep.
