After that incident, everyone soon walked off on their way to the location for their next challenge.
"Glad the challenge finished before Chris could ask me an embarrassing question!" Cameron said.
"Let me guess. 'Who needs their diaper changed?'" Jo mockingly replied.
Cameron the pointed out on accident. "I haven't worn a diaper since I was 11!"
Anne-Maria and Jo bursted out laughing. Brick find it funny only a little. Zoey and Mike winced as they felt bad for him. Nora on the other hand wasn't paying much attention to their conversation as she was blushing a bit from earlier.
"The challenge is over, you don't have to keep humiliating yourself." Brick whispered to him.
"Ha no please go on, or does baby need his bottle?" Jo taunted him.
"Ihave just enough right to be here like you do and I'll prove it in the next challenge. You'll see!" Cameron said confidently when in reality he regreted saying it.
"Sure, ask Nora, wonder what she thinks about that." Anne-Maria turned to Nora. "What do you think girl?"
Nora snapped out of her thoughts. "Huh, oh, sorry, what where you saying?"
"Really? You didn't hear what we were talking about?" Anne-Maria asked.
"No?" She said honestly but unsure.
"You've been pretty quiet since we've left." Zoey said. "Something wrong?"
"Oh, no, it's nothing." She replied back. "Just not in the mood to talk at the moment... really..."
Her teammates looked at each other unsure that she was telling the truth.
Nora's P.O.V
Ugh! I had to lie, I mean I can't just tell them 'Oh i'm just not in the the mood cause of the way I held on to Brick earlier when I was terrified of the Mutant Shark that almost got us'. I just can't get it out of my head. Shoot! My parents must have saw that! Great, first I almost drowned, now this?!
I just hope the next challenge will take my mind off things.
No one's P.O.V
Once the campers arrived at their location Chris started to announce through speaker."Welcome players! Now that you're all here, it's time for part two of today's challenge..."He is now standing from a distance."The Mad Skills Obstacle Course. The race begins with a mad dash from the kick start. Forget coffee. If this doesn't get you going, nothing will. Then it's off to the race against time. That is Cannonball run! Over to my personal fave, wrecking ball alley. Hurts so good!" He laughs."And moving on, we head to the gang planks, complete with rabid mutant beavers. Followed by the bouncy agony of double trouble! And finally the grand slam, where you'll use ropes to swing into the giant baseball mitt while avoiding those deadly bats. Piece of cake."He then chuckled. "Oh and as you may remember I said that the winning team from part one would've had a distinct advantage in part two."
Zoey then called out."But there was no winner!"
"Yeah, don't remind me..." He replied annoyed. "The losing team was gonna have one of them wear snazzy specs while competing. But since we never actually finished the competition, I've decided that both of your one teammates has to wear them! Ha Ha!"
Chef hands the box with two glasses.
Jo puts on a pair just to try them on."Hey, What's with the grandpa glasses? We won't be able to see anything wearing these!"
"Dork-tacular goggles won't make part two easy or attractive, but it can be done. In theory." Chris said.
The campers groan.
"Can't say I told you so!" Nora called out. "But did anybody listened? No!" She then said. "Not my fault you all quited!"
"Oh just shut up already!" Scott called out.
Nora growled and they both glared at each other.
"Competitors pick your teammates!" Chris announced.
"I'll go!" Both Nora and Scott said it in usion. As they walked to the starting line.
"Well that was fast." Jo said kind of surprised.
"So, it's gonna be Nora Vs. Scott." Chris said after they put on their glasses. But Scott only lift them a little bit so that he can see. Only for Nora to frown cause she knew that was cheating. "First one to finish wins the whole shabag and the other team loses a member tonight. Since it's a race, you'll need something to carry: your mascots! Oh intern!" An intern appears with two cages. "Team Rat gets a mutant rat and Team Maggot gets a mutant maggot."
"Ew..." Nora said disgusted.
Chris Blows a horn."And go!"
Scott is booted into the air.
"And Scott gets the boot!" Chris said.
Scott yells as the rat bites him. Nora is seen jumping over head.
"Nora gets the early lead!" Chris added.
The Maggots cheered on.
Nora keeped on running until she walks into a pole. "Ow!" She winced as she rubbed her cheeked.
The Maggots winced at that, while Lightning laughs at her.
With that distraction Scott is then seen running with the rat, he walks pass Nora who is still recovering from the hit.
"The rats take a lead. Or not!" The show's host said.
Scott looks up at the cannonballs. The rat starts squealing and pointing."Is it too late to call it quits?" He ducks as a cannonball flies over him head and to Nora who ducked in time.
The dirt farmer ran across Wrecking Ball Alley. "Wow we are in the lead? Great. Nice and slow, all the way to last place"He walks backwards."Right, little guy?"The rat bites him, again. He screams and gets hit by the wrecking ball, again too."Ow!" He landed to where he had to face the mutant beavers.
Nora made a mad dash off of Wrecking Ball Alley, walked backwards and was hit by the wrecking ball. She ended up landing next to Scott who was stroking the rat. "Aww! Who's my good freak? Who's my good freak? There, there, little guy Uncle Scotty kept you safe and sound."
Nora looked kinda perplexed as she keeped on going.
Meanwhile, the Rats where confused.
"What's he doing?!" Lightning said fustrated. "That girl is ahead of him! Why is he petting that rat?!"
"Maybe he's just probably want to make you all look bad." Jo said mockingly.
"I sense a very dark aura around Scott, he might be a threat to us all." Dawn said.
"So Nora was right!" Brick said out loud as he frowned.
"Huh?" Mike said as the others looked confused.
Brick realized that he had spoiled his private talk about Nora and winced.
Nora jumps onto the first plank but the beavers had chewed out the bottom so but she managed to jump fast to the other side.
Scott followed up as he jumped to the Gangplanks, but the beavers chewed on the bottom which he falls to the ground. The beavers growled as he started to run for his life.
Nora jumps and bounces to the end of the Bouncers. "Yes!" She runs to the Grand Slam where she made a stop. "Oh..." She nervously added.
Scott was able ro escape the beavers with a few snatches on him. He ran to the Bouncers, but he wasn't as lucky as Nora to pass it. He hit flat on the platform.
Nora look nervously at the mitt. "Okay, you can do this Nora..." She stammered. "It's just a swing thought these bats..." She jumps off with the rope, then puts her legs on the mitt and slides off into the mud. "Great..." She goarned as she is now dirty.
Scott jumps off with a rope, but he crashes straight into a bat and slides off. Nora walks up for a second try.
"Well that could have gone better..." The maggot bites Nora's hand and she screams to shake it off. A rope catches around her ankle as she falls off. She swings through the air smashing into every bat before getting flung up and landing on the mitt. She yelped. The maggot falls onto her arms.
"And the Maggots win!" Chris announced.
The Maggots cheered. Chef walks with a gift basket.
"To the maggots, the spoils. McLean brand shampoo and conditioner guaranteed to wash off the stink!" Chris said.
"What's this? A TV commercial?" Jo said by the way Chris presented their award.
"Rats, see you at the elimination ceremony." The show's host pointed out.
The Rats groan."I can't believe this! Lightning is on a team of losers!" The young athlete storms off.
Sam chuckles."Come on, winning isn't everything!"
Lightning chases Sam while screaming.
The Maggots all lifted Nora as they all walked back to their cabins. As they all sang:

They all cheered for her as they put her back down.
"Come on guys, you all didn't have to." Nora smiled with gratitude.
"Soldier, it was a real honor for you to give us that victory." Brick spoke. "You've earned yourself to become part of my squadron!" He then saluted her.
Nora saluted in return. "Thank you, Sir, I won't let you down."
"So, are we gonna celebrate or what?" Anne-Maria asked.
"Yeah, we are!" She paused. "But, I actually do have one thing to do first." Nora answer with a mischevious smirk.
Nora's P.O.V
After I took a nice shower, nightfall finally came for the elimination ceremony. The Maggots and I watched as we hid inside a nearby bush.
"Ready? Everybody gets a marshmallow even the loser, but that one marshmallow is one you do not want to eat!" Chris said as Chef shows off the toxic marshmallow. "To the votes! the following people are safe..." Her throws the marshmallows. "Lightning, Dawn, Bev, and Sam, which leaves Dakota and Scott."
Dakota realized that as she looked nervously. "What?"
"And the marshmallow of loserdom goes to..."
It was tense as I prayed for you know who to be kicked out.

"Scott!"Chris throws Dakota the marshmallow.
Scott opened his eyes now looking in disbelief. "What?!"
Score! Me and Brick gave each other a high-five for our small victory.
"But it can't be!" He stood now not believeing that he's out.
"You better it is!" Lightning called out angrily. "You caused our victory today! You let the girl win on purpose!"
"I was catching my breath!" He said trying to make up an excuse.
'Liar...' I angrily thought as I heard him say that.
"Sorry man, but I agree with Lightning over here." Sam said.
"Why you little-!" Scott was about to throw a fuss when Chef carried him to the Hurl of Shame. In which he was later tied up. "I will get you all for this, especialy you, Nora!" He glared right at me. As everyone where at the docks.
"In your dreams!" I said not carring at all.
"Speaking of which, we have something special for your depart." Surprisingly, as I requested, Fang came as he snatched his tooth back and puts it where it belongs. As he sat in the Hurl of Shame with Scott looking terrified. "Ah! Um, I actually have second thoughts for-AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" We all watched as Scott was lunched with Fang in the air as we heard his screams.
"So long, Scotty!" I joked.
"That was the thing you did?" Cameron asked puzzled.
"I just wanted him to teach a lesson to not mess with me." I replied proudly for what I did. "But also for being a total jerk."
"Nice." Jo smirked as she clunched her fist and we did a fist bump.
After that was over we all hit the Mess Hall for diner.
I looked weird out at my food. Poking with a fork "I don't think i'll get used to this meal..." Then I look a Brick, (Who is sitting next to me) eating his meal like it was nothing! "How can you eat that?!"
After he swallowed a portion of food he said. "Back in Cadets, I learned to eat anything that was put on my plate. It's better than to starve, Soldier."
I looked down at my food, took a deep breath and immediately dig in as fast as I could to not feel the taste of it. If he can do this, than I might. I didn't payed attention to everyone else's gaze as I was gobbling it all up. Once I was done I set the fork down looking a bit nausious. "Done..!" My team looked very perplexed by what I just did.
"Um, I don't think that was a good idea to eat that fast..." Mike looked concerned.
"What do you mean-?" I immediately felt something coming up and I ran out of the Mess Hall to go outside and throw up.
I was able to recover from this. The team and I sat down the steps of our cabin.
"Just don't do what I do, okay?" Brick said as I nodded.
"Last time I ever do that..." Despite, I still felt gloomy. I looked up to see the stars and smiled.
Everyone else (But Brick) stood up ready to head for bed. "Um, Nora? Are you coming?" Zoey asked me as I remained looking up in the sky.
"I'll be in a moment." I said as she walked in.
Brick moved over next to me. "First time seeing that many stars at night?"
"You could say that, back home we didn't had that many." I responded. "So it's nice to be able too here." Then I asked. "Say, I was wondering, what made you think of entering this show?"
"Well, as a strong Soldier and years of military training." He explained. "I thought that I might be a capable contestant." He said proudly. "You?"
I blushed as I brushed my hair as I answered. "Oh, I just wanted to experience what being on TV looked like. Cause it's not everyday that an ordinary teen gets selected to be on a show that is seen all over the world. Ya know?"
Brick seemed to understand what I meant and put his hand on my shoulder. "Well, I gues you made a good choice then."
I felt my face turned red from flustered. 'Why does he had to be so cute?!' I thought as I felt my heart beat while smiling.
"Well." He then stood up. "I guess I better be getting some rest, goodnight Soldier!" Like that he went in his side of the cabin.
"Goodnight..." I stammered as I desperately wanted to scream. Instead I collapsed as I sighed feeling lovestruck.
This is gonna be a long season...
I made the second challenge more into a solo race since with Nora was a player to many to make it into a relay race.
The song that was used is 'For He's a Jolly Good Fellow' but in she version.
