It was just like the Admin again, with everyone screaming and running for their lives, the moon being affected by some hidden power, and of course, you had a nigh omnipotent being pulling the strings from behind the curtains, two if you counted Notch. In short, everything was absolute chaos and pandemonium. "We have to do something!," yelled Olivia, trying to be heard over the screaming. "What?!," Axel hollered, straining to hear what she was saying. "I SAID WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!," Olivia screamed even louder. "Olivia's right!," yelled Lukas. "If we don't stop this, someone's going to get seriously hurt in all of this chaos!" "Hold on, everyone!," I yelled. "I got this!" Once again, I squeezed my eyes shut in concentration. Gradually, the people around us began to slow down, their screams turning into soft whimpers, until everyone was now standing in place, still looking incredibly scared but now much calmer than before.

"Whoa!," cried Jesse, staring around with wide eyes. "Alex, what did you just do?" "I used telepathy to calm everyone down," I explained, my head now feeling foggy. "Hold on, that took a lot out of me. I'm a little dizzy right now." I shook my head vigorously to get my jumbled thoughts back together. "Okay, I think I'm all better now." Notch clapped slowly, still with that infuriating smile on his face. "Well done, Alex," he praised in a somewhat genuine tone. "Well done." I glared at him, not wanting to receive any praise from the likes of him. "You just won't leave us alone, will you?," I growled. "You didn't even have to make that bet with Herobrine! Wasn't our big fight with Romeo enough entertainment for you?" Notch chuckled and shook his head as if he was dealing with an ignorant child. "Oh, Alex," he said in a condescending tone. "You seem to have forgotten how long us Ancients can live for. Admins are also known for their long lifespans, but even they'll die eventually, give or take a few thousand years. We, on the other hand, will never die. Death will always be a complete stranger. Tell me, Alex, what would YOU do if you were in our shoes, hm? Wouldn't YOU end up doing the same things as us? Wouldn't YOU do anything for entertainment, lest you be driven insane by the knowledge of a long, endless road ahead of you, never being able to reach your destination?"

I had no idea what Notch was talking about, and frankly, I couldn't care less. "I'd never end up like you," I said firmly. "Not if it means trading away my soul and humanity." Notch leaned towards me with narrowed eyes, the smile still plastered onto his face. "Spend a few billion years with nothing else to do, THEN you can talk." Suddenly, Isa shot forwards like a rocket and pulled me away while shoving Notch with the palm of her hand. Notch staggered back, but was otherwise unharmed. "Get away from my daughter," Isa snarled, glaring at him. Jesse, Petra, Isaac, Lukas, Olivia, Axel, and Harper also glared at him angrily. At that point, they didn't really comprehend Notch's true depravity, but at least they now knew he couldn't be trusted.

Instead of getting angry, Notch just steadied himself and chuckled. "You mortals and your pesky little emotions," he chuckled. Suddenly, lightning crackled across the sky, bathing everything in an eerie blue light. Everyone screamed and ducked down, but thanks to my powers calming them down significantly, they didn't run around and panic like before. The bolts of lightning quickly coalesced into a blue ball of pure energy hovering above the city, about the same size as a small house. The ball of energy slowly shrunk and condense before our very eyes, forming into the shape of a human. Then, the light emanating from it suddenly brightened up several times over, nearly blinding everyone in the vicinity. When the light cleared and everyone got their vision back, we saw that the strange energy ball had been replaced by a normal looking man floating in the air. He had brown skin, dark brown hair, a light blue shirt, dark blue pants, and gray shoes. At first glance, he looked just like your everyday person that you'd walk past every day on the street. However, I knew better. It was the same man that I saw in my dreams AND my earlier visions. It was Herobrine, the only other being in existence who was just as old, just as powerful, and just as dangerous as the Old Man of the Sky.

Herobrine's eyes were shut as he slowly floated to the ground in an almost graceful manner. Once he reached the ground and opened his eyes, however, it was revealed that his eyes were actually pure white, with no pupils in them, and glowed with a deep-seated hatred towards anything and everything. The nearby people who saw his eyes immediately backed away in fear, taken aback by how much sheer HATRED was in those eyes.

It was clear that although both Notch and Herobrine were cruel, remorseless beings, Herobrine had no issues with flaunting that cruelty. While Notch preferred to hide his true nature behind a permanent and off putting smile, Herobrine was the complete opposite. He wanted everyone to know just how evil and twisted he can be. He wanted people to FEAR him.

And unfortunately, he was doing a pretty damn good job of doing so.

Herobrine glared at the crowd in pure disgust, as if just being around them was enough to make him puke. Suddenly, he boomed, "ALEX! WHERE ARE YOU?! COME OUT AND FACE ME OR I WILL FIND YOU MYSELF!" His voice was impossibly loud, especially coming out of someone who wasn't that particularly big. It was like he was yelling into a megaphone.

"You better do what he says," said Notch, smiling in anticipation. I gave Notch one last scathing glare. "Alex, whatever you're thinking of right now, don't you dare do it," Isa hissed. I sighed heavily and turned to her regretfully. "Mom, you know I have to," I said. "You don't know what he's capable of. If I don't do anything, he's going to kill us all." "Somehow, that doesn't make me feel any better," Petra said sarcastically. "Alex, you can't do this," Jesse argued. "I'm getting very bad vibes from this guy. He could really hurt you." "...I've been through things, Jesse," I said sadly. "Things you can't possibly imagine." I sighed. "You're supposed to be my husband, Jesse. I thought you'd believe in me by now." Jesse looked down in shame. "I'm sure that's not what he meant," said Harper. "He's worried about you, that's all."

"...I'm sorry," I sighed. "This is just very stressful for me. For once, I just want something to go right, you know?" "We understand how you feel," said Isaac. "And we DO believe in you, Alex. If you feel that confronting this new threat is something you must do...then we will support you all the way." Jesse looked apprehensive for a moment, but eventually caved in and nodded. "Do what you think is right, Alex," he said. "We'll be there for you." "...thanks, guys," I said, smiling at them gratefully. "You have no idea how-" Suddenly, Herobrine shot a bolt of lightning from the palm of his hand, striking a nearby building. Everyone screamed and ducked down in fear. "I SAID COME OUT!," Herobrine roared. "FACE ME, YOU PITIFUL COWARD!"

"Wish me luck, guys," I whispered. Because I'm definitely going to need it. Then, I flew straight up into the air, allowing Herobrine to finally see me. "I'm here!," I yelled, glaring at him. "If it's just me you're here for, that's fine! Leave everyone else out of this!" Herobrine saw me and gave me a menacing grin. "There you are," he growled under his breath.

"There she goes," Reginald said respectfully, watching me float down in front of Herobrine. "One of the bravest women I've ever had the pleasure of meeting." Isa nodded in agreement with a soft smile. "That's my daughter for you," she said. However, Notch found the situation to be more amusing than inspiring, if his low chuckle was any indication. "That poor little girl," he murmured. "She better knows what she's doing." Everyone else turned to glare at him. "Are you serious?," Lukas growled in disgust. "What's your deal?" "Yeah!," said Axel. "I bet Alex can beat up this new guy just as easily as the Admin." "So don't you dare count her out!," said Petra. "She's done the impossible before, you know! It's pretty obvious that you don't know anything about her!" Notch only shook his head. "You mortals are so gullible," he sighed. "But I guess that's not your fault." Everyone else clenched their fists in anger from the insult. "Alex has done remarkable things," Notch continued. "I'm not denying that. But if you think Herobrine will go down as easily as Romeo, you're delusional." "What do you mean?," asked Harper.

"Herobrine is unlike anything you or Alex have ever faced before," said Notch, watching me confronting Herobrine in the middle of the crowd. "And I should know, since I've known him far longer than anyone else. Romeo was powerful too, but...he was more like a child with too much power on his hands. Herobrine is more like an angry, sadistic adult. He will do whatever it takes to win, no matter how many lines he has to cross. I assure you, if Alex isn't quick on her feet, Herobrine will eat her alive...literally, in some possible scenarios." He chuckled again. "Oh, this is going to be FUN. I can't WAIT for the show to start." Notch's twisted explanation was enough to make everyone scared all over again. If Notch was telling the truth, then all the previous threats that we had faced - the Wither Storm, Thomas, Cassie Rose, PAMA, Patrick, the Old Builders, and Romeo - were nothing compared to the threat that was standing in front of me right now. Nonetheless, they refused to give up hope. "You can do this, Alex," Jesse whispered under his breath, his heart loudly beating in his chest. "I know you can."

Meanwhile, I was standing right in front of Herobrine. We were glaring into each other's eyes, and the tension was so thick that you could cut right through it with a knife. Unlike my friends and family, who had to be explained to by Notch, I immediately knew that this was going to be the greatest challenge I had ever gone up against. The nightmares and visions that I had during the past week were all I needed to know that Herobrine was going to be just as ruthless and powerful as Notch, if not moreso. After all, Notch preferred to hide his cruelty behind a mask of calmness while Herobrine practically REVELLED in the cruelty, and he was not afraid to show everyone just how evil he could be. It was almost like facing Thomas or Patrick with Notch's powers, which had to be the most terrifying combination that ever came to my mind. "What are you doing here?," I demanded, deciding to get straight to the point.

Herobrine narrowed his eyes and gave me a nasty scowl. Unlike Notch, he was nowhere near as skilled as his fellow Ancient in hiding his emotions. "You may be an Admin, CHILD," he snarled, spitting out that last word as if it was an insult, "but don't forget who you are dealing with. I assume you already know that, however, considering that you met Notch earlier."

I nodded solemnly. Herobrine grinned. "Perfect," he said. "This will make things much more convenient." Then, he floated up into the air and raised his voice to a loud shout so that everyone in the entire city could hear him. "I HAVE COME TO ISSUE YOU A CHALLENGE!," he roared, causing everyone to scream and jump in fear and shock. "ALEXANDRA, YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED SOME OF THE MOST TORTUROUS AND HARROWING EVENTS THAT THIS WORLD HAS TO OFFER! AND EVERY TIME, YOU HAVE TRIUMPHED AND GROWN STRONGER AS A RESULT! BUT EVERYONE, NO MATTER HOW STRONG, HAS A LIMIT TO HOW MUCH THEY CAN TAKE! AND I, HEROBRINE, INTEND TO FIND YOUR LIMIT AND PUSH YOU OVER THE THRESHOLD OF MADNESS! I INTEND...TO BREAK YOU!" He gave me a menacing smile, his teeth glinting in the cold moonlight. "YOUR FEATS WERE ENOUGH TO IMPRESS THE OLD MAN OF THE SKY, AND THAT ALONE IS WORTHY OF PRAISE! LET'S SEE IF YOU CAN IMPRESS ME!" I glared up at him, twisting the inside of my ear with a finger to get rid of the ringing from Herobrine's incessantly loud and dramatic speech. Then, I placed my hands on my hips and said in the most stern voice I could muster, "No."

Herobrine stared at me, actually STARED at me, as if I had just spoken another language. "What did you just say?," he asked, his voice becoming soft and dangerous. I couldn't help but shiver. From everything that was shown to me, Herobrine was the type of person who relished in the spotlight and always had to be the loudest and the most dramatic. To hear him speaking so quietly all of a sudden was definitely unnerving. It was like if Notch suddenly stopped smiling. Still, I steeled myself and continued in a firm tone. "I said no," I said, glaring directly at him. "I'm not in the mood for games, Herobrine. It's only been a few months since I defeated Romeo, my wedding took place this afternoon, I just discovered that most of my family had been MURDERED, and now I have to deal with this shit! Personally, I'm getting sick of it!" I was slightly aware that I was beginning to rant, but I didn't care. "So why don't you do us all a favor, huh? Go away, get rid of that weird shadow thing eating up the moon while you're at it, and never come back, because let me tell you something, you son of a bitch! Me and my friends became heroes to help people and make the world a better place, NOT to clean up after the messes of a bunch of whiny little deities with the mentalities of drooling infants!"

After that little rant, the crowd was mostly silent, "mostly" being the definitive term. There were a few people who could be heard yelling things like, "You tell them, Alex!," or "Show that white-eyed freak who's boss!" Herobrine's eyes were wide with shock, and honestly, it was very amusing to see such a terrifying being look so taken aback. But then, his eyes narrowed again, sucking away the amusement. "So that's how it's going to be?," he hissed. "I came here putting in all of that effort to make a dramatic entrance, and you had to go ahead and make a fool out of me?" I really wanted to retort with something witty like, "You don't need my help doing THAT. You already look like a fool." But common sense told me that saying it aloud would've been a death sentence. "Fine," Herobrine snarled. "I was planning on starting this night off with something small, but if you want to get to the point, WE'LL GET TO THE POINT!"

Suddenly, Herobrine punched me in the chest with both of his fists at once. The punches themselves didn't hurt, but a sphere of pure blue energy suddenly formed around me from the resulting punches, imprisoning me inside. I heard the entire crowd gasp in fear while among them, my friends could be heard crying out my name. I tried bashing through the sphere with my fists, but I couldn't make a single dent. I tried blasting out with energy blasts, but they didn't do anything to the sphere either. I even tried teleporting myself out, but something about the newly made prison prevented me from doing so, and even caused me intense pain whenever I tried to use any of my Admin powers. One civilian ran forward and tried punching through the sphere herself. "No, don't!," I cried out in alarm, but it was too late. The woman punched the energy dome, then was sent flying back by an unseen force, knocking down several other people in the process. Luckily, she didn't seem seriously hurt afterwards. Herobrine let out an evil maniacal laugh that would have sounded ridiculous in one of Kevin's Saturday morning cartoons, but was somehow terrifying when hearing it in real life. "There's no use escaping, Alex," he crowed. "Not even the combined powers of Fred, Romeo, and Xara could break out of this prison."

I glared at Herobrine while fruitlessly pounding on the sphere from inside. "You just wait until I get my hands on you!," I yelled angrily. Herobrine raised an eyebrow in both amusement and irritation. "Big talk coming from someone who's trapped like an ant in a jar!," he growled. "Maybe I should fix that!" He clenched his fists together and squeezed. At the same time, the sphere also began to squeeze in on me, slowly overpowering me until I couldn't even move anymore. But it didn't stop there. It continued shrinking in on me, slowly squeezing the life out of me, and there was nothing that I could do to escape. It felt like I was slowly being crushed in the muscular coils of a boa constrictor. I began groaning in pain, then started asphyxiating. The energy prison was now tightening in on every inch of my body, slowly compressing me and squeezing the air from my lungs. My face turned purple and I grew lightheaded…

Suddenly, the shield loosened itself, allowing me to breathe again. I rapidly took in deep breaths of air, my face slowly returning to its normal, diamond blue color. The prison was still tight enough to the point that I was completely immobile, but also just loose enough so that I could breathe with no issues. Herobrine was still glaring at me, but for some reason, he had decided to spare me. "No, this isn't how it's supposed to go," I heard him muttering to himself. "I'm supposed to break her mind and spirit, not just her body." It looked like he was trying to keep his anger under control. After a while, he seemed to have calmed down.

"You're probably the only mortal who has ever made me lose my composure so easily," he said, glaring into my eyes. "I will congratulate you for that. But you've also made yourself a very powerful enemy." He leaned in towards me and whispered into my ear, "I cannot wait to break you down until there is nothing left." Then, he leaned back and started yelling at the top of his lungs to address the crowd that was watching us fearfully. "LISTEN UP!," he boomed, once again causing everyone to jump. "DO YOU SEE THE MOON?!" He pointed up at the moon that was slowly being consumed by the strange shadow. "THIS MOON WILL STAY UP IN THE SKY AND SERVE AS A REMINDER TO THOSE WHO DON'T BELIEVE IN ME! ONCE THE MOON IS COMPLETELY COVERED BY THAT SHADOW, I WILL ARRIVE INTO THIS WORLD IN MY TRUE FORM AND WREAK HAVOC THE LIKES OF WHICH YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE ANY OF YOU RUN! YOU WILL ALL PERISH!"

Jesse managed to push himself to the front of the crowd. "We'll stop you!," he said with determination. "Jesse, stay back!," I yelled, only to have my voice cut off by Herobrine tightening the shield around me again. "Quiet!," he sneered. "The adults are talking." Then, he glared down at Jesse with disdain. "Listen here, boy," he growled. "You don't know who I am. I am the most powerful being in all of existence. I am eternal. I. Am. God." Far away, Notch raised an eyebrow in existence. The most powerful being in existence, eh? We'll see about that.

"Then you clearly have no idea who WE are!," Jesse retorted. "We're the Order of the Stone! We eat up villains like you for breakfast!" Herobrine reared his head back and laughed. "You? Defeat me? Don't make me laugh, you fool. If the previous Order of the Stone couldn't defeat me, then what chances do YOU have?" I stared at Herobrine in shock, and suddenly, all the pieces came together. "It was you," I whispered. "You killed them. You left that message on the wall. You impersonated Lukas. It was all you." Herobrine smirked, as if he was PROUD of the fact that he had brutally murdered someone's family. "I cannot say that I was directly responsible for that," he said musingly. "But yes, I definitely had a hand in that."

That was all the assurance that I needed. I roared in fury and began thrashing around in the confines of the energy prison, trying desperately to break out so I could strangle that monster with my bare hands. "I'LL KILL YOU!," I screamed, yelling and sobbing at the same time. Herobrine frowned and began squeezing me to death again. "You are a prisoner!," he snapped. "Prisoners don't talk back!" "Let her go!," yelled Jesse, balling his hands into fists. He knew that he stood no chance against someone who was as powerful as Herobrine, but if he had to beat him up with his own fists, he'd gladly do so without any hesitation.

Herobrine sneered down at him. "No, I don't think I will," he said. "In fact, why don't we dispel all of this tension by playing a little game? It'll be fun." I narrowed my eyes in suspicion, and so did Jesse. If Herobrine's idea of entertainment was anything like Notch's, then we were all in for a very nasty surprise. "Here are the rules of the game," Herobrine declared. "The moon will serve as a timer. If the shadow ever covers the moon completely, then time has run out and you all lose. As punishment, I will enter the mortal realm in my true form and slaughter every man, woman, and child in the world, until there is nothing left but death and destruction."

"This so-called 'game' of yours seems pretty one-sided, if you ask me," Jesse said angrily. Herobrine glared at him. "Then perhaps you should let me finish first," he retorted. "If you and your friends manage to beat the game before time runs out, then you all win. I will leave this place and never come back. None of you will ever have to see me again."

"And how do we know...you'll keep your end...of the bargain?," I gasped, trying to talk through the lack of air entering my lungs. "You don't," Herobrine said bluntly. "You'll all just have to take my word for it. Besides…" He chuckled darkly. "...I'll kill everyone anyway if you refuse to play the game. At least if you accept my offer, it'll buy you some time before the inevitable." As much as I hated to admit it, I could see the logic behind that reasoning. Which was worse, to have a maniac with omnipotent powers destroy the world instantly, or to have a maniac with omnipotent powers play with his prey first BEFORE destroying the world instantly?

"So how do we win?," asked Jesse, glaring at Herobrine suspiciously. "Simple," said Herobrine, holding up a finger. "While we were speaking, I have taken five random items from your treasure room and hidden them in five different locations all over the world. Your job is to get all five of those items back, bring them to me before the moon completely darkens, and you win. Fail to do so, and the blood of millions will be on YOUR hands, not mine." "But that's not even fair!," cried Jesse. "How do we find these items when we don't even know where to look?" "Oh, don't be such a little pussy," Herobrine scoffed. "I'm not going to make the game impossible for you. Where would the fun be in that? Here, I'm giving you a map that shows exactly where to go. Just follow the map and you'll find the items." Herobrine took a rolled up map out of his pocket and handed it to Jesse, who slowly took it apprehensively, as if the map was going to come to life and bite his hand off. While taking the map, he mulled over the rules of the games. So all they had to do was follow the directions on the map and collect the same treasures as before? It sounded easy. Too easy, in fact. There had to be a catch to all of this.

"Oh, there's definitely a catch," said Herobrine, even though neither me nor Jesse had ever said so out loud. "Two, actually. You'll find out what the first one is when you finally get to those dimensions. And as for the second twist…" He grinned menacingly. "...Alex will be working alone." "W-where are you going to take me?," I asked nervously, failing to keep the stutter out of my voice. Herobrine's grin grew even wider. "Hell," he said, then snapped his fingers.

And suddenly, I was teleported through space and time. The last time I was forcibly teleported against my will was when Romeo sent me and my friends to the Sunshine Institute, which was definitely not a pleasant experience. Fortunately, my Admin physiology helped immensely in fending off the negative side effects of forced teleportation, other than the squashing and stretching of my body. While flying through and possibly breaking the very fabric of reality, I was bombarded with yet another vision. It took me a while to realize that it was a vision from my past. Or more specifically, the moment when I was born.

Fred quickly teleported into Xara's bedroom. He made it just in time. "Where the hell were you, Fred?!," yelled Xara, sweat pouring down her face as she laid in bed. Her stomach bulged out like a balloon. "I've been holding in this baby for so long! I can't stand it anymore!" "Xara, sweetie, I got you," Fred said frantically, nervously running to Xara's bedside. "Here, grab my hand." Xara reached out and grabbed Fred's hand, nearly crushing every bone in it. "Oh god, she's coming out!," Xara screamed. "She's coming! Dear lord, WHY HAS NOBODY EVER TOLD ME HOW PAINFUL GIVING BIRTH WAS GONNA BE?!"

"You're doing great, dear, you're doing great," said Fred, peeking under the blankets. "I see the top of her head now. She's coming out, Xara. Just hold on a little bit longer." "What the fuck do you think I've been doing?!," cried Xara, squeezing Fred's hand tighter. "Xara…," Fred moaned, his knees beginning to buckle. "Dear, you're crushing my hand…"

"You don't get to complain!," yelled Xara, her face turning purple. "You don't know pain like I do right now, Fred!" Both of them began to hear the cries of an infant growing louder and louder. "You're almost there, Xara," said Fred. "Just one. More. Push!"

With one final scream, Xara pushed with all of her might. Fred gently pulled out a small, squirming infant who had blue skin the color of diamonds, a golden yellow nose, and short, silver hair. "Oh my god," Fred whispered, staring at this absolute treasure. "She's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." "Give her to me," Xara replied tiredly, reaching out her hands pathetically. After being given the baby, Xara held her close to her face. The baby giggled and booped Xara's nose with a stubby little finger, causing her nose to scrunch up. "I honestly don't know who's cuter now, you or our baby girl," Fred joked. Xara stuck her tongue out jokingly. "She really is beautiful," she agreed. "What should we name her?"

Before Fred could answer, the entire room suddenly shook violently, causing Fred to lose his balance and for Xara to fall out of her bed. Fortunately, she was able to keep the baby safe in her arms. "What was that?!," she asked fearfully, wincing painfully as she got back up. "Xara, don't stand up so fast," Fred warned. "You just gave birth, after all." Xara gave Fred a heated glare. "I'm a goddamn Admin, Fred," she said. "I can handle this."

The room shook again, nearly causing them both to lose their footing. "What's going on?," asked Xara, looking around frantically. "Are we being attacked?" "It's not just us, Xara," said Fred, gloomily looking out the window. "Take a look." Xara joined her husband at the window, and her jaw dropped at what she saw. There were fireballs raining down from the sky, explosions in the distance, and terrified people running for their lives from all kinds of strange mobs. It didn't take long for them to piece together what was happening. "Romeo," Xara growled. "This is his doing." "My god," Fred whispered, his eyes glued to the chaos outside. "I knew he'd do something terrible, but...nothing like this!" "Fred, this is the same guy who killed everyone in our home village!," Xara snapped. Her outburst scared the baby, who began crying. "Shhh, don't cry, mommy's here," whispered Xara. "Shhhhh."

In any other circumstance, Fred would have cooed at the motherly sight, but now was definitely not the time. Everything he wrote in the journal...everything he feared...was coming true. "Our baby!," Xara suddenly cried, her eyes wide with fearful realization. "Didn't Romeo threaten to kill her more times than we can count? What if he's on his way here?! Fred, we need to get out of here before he arrives!" She tried tugging on Fred's arm, but the Admin wouldn't budge. "Fred, why are you just standing there? We need to leave now!"

"...I can't," said Fred, shaking his head morosely. "We can't just abandon him like that. Romeo may have changed, but there's still some part of him inside that remembers all the good times we had. I know it." Xara gawked at Fred. "You mean you want to TALK to him?!," she hissed. "That will never work! He'll do anything to get to our baby, even if it means going through you! I'm not letting you risk your life like that!" "Xara, this is something I HAVE to do," Fred pleaded. "Look, I'll do all the talking. I'll convince him somehow."

Finally, the vision arrived at a very familiar part. It was the part that I saw after defeating the faceless woman and was in the process of unlocking my Admin powers.

"Fred, this is a stupid plan, and you know it!," Xara hissed at Fred angrily. "Romeo's too far gone by now! You won't be able to reason with him!" Fred shook his head in denial. "Deep down, Romeo's still our friend," he argued. "If I can just talk some sense into him…" "There IS no sense left in him!," yelled Xara. "He wants to kill our baby, Fred! We have to run away before he gets here!" The baby in her arms suddenly began crying and wriggling around. "Shh, it's alright," Xara whispered, rocking it back and forth. "Mommy's here."

"Xara, I have to at least try," Fred said softly. "Romeo has become unhinged, I know that just as well as you do, but we've all been through too much together. I can't just give up on him like that." Suddenly, a loud explosion occurred just outside the building, causing the entire room to shake violently. "He's already here," Fred whispered, staring at the door in fear. "Xara, I need you to hide in the closet and keep absolutely quiet. Let me deal with him." "I'm not going to leave you to fend for yourself!," Xara whispered angrily. "What if...what if Romeo…" She wasn't able to finish her sentence before her voice started cracking. "Xara," said Fred, firmly looking her in the eye. "Think of the baby." Xara looked at the crying bundle in her arms with sadness, then nodded hesitantly. "Okay…," she said uncertainly. "Be safe."

Xara immediately went to a closet nearby and hid inside it with the baby. No sooner did she close the door on herself when the room's front door suddenly blew open, flying and crashing into the opposite wall. Romeo entered the room right after, glaring at Fred with clear disdain. "Hello, Fred," he growled in hatred. "Hello, Romeo," Fred replied casually, though he couldn't hide the sadness in his voice. He barely even recognized Romeo anymore. "So where is it now, Fred?," asked Romeo, looking around the room. "Might as well hand it over and save us the trouble." Fred frowned angrily. "'Her,' Romeo, not 'it,'" he said. Romeo rolled his eyes. "Her, it, whatever," he said crossly. "Is she here right now? And what about Xara?"

"Neither of them are here, Romeo," Fred lied. "It's just the two of us." His frown softened. "Romeo, I want to talk things out with you." Romeo snorted. "It's a bit too late for that, I'm afraid," he snapped. "Romeo," Fred repeated. "Please, you need to call off your attack. You need to stop all of...this." He gestured to the windows, showing that there was nothing outside but chaos and destruction. "And why should I?!," yelled Romeo. "You and Xara were about to leave me! I thought we were close, but then you had to HOOK UP with Xara and create some sort of...abomination!" "That 'abomination' is my daughter!," Fred snapped. "Romeo, this isn't goodbye forever. You could still visit us anytime you like. You have that power."

"But you and Xara will still be giving up your powers!," said Romeo. "What would I do without you two to rule by my side?! What would I do once I outlive you both and end up all alone?! Answer me that!" "You can give up your powers too," Fred replied calmly. "We can live as mortals together." "...you know I can't do that, Fred," said Romeo quietly. Fred sighed heavily and shook his head in disappointment. "It's as I feared," he said sadly. "You've become too dependent on your powers, Romeo. It's gotten to the point where you can't even part with them." His hands clenched into fists and he shook his head angrily. "We never should've gone looking for the Old Man of the Sky. We never should've wished to become Admins. Look what it's done to you! Look what it's done to US!" "There is still a solution, Fred," said Romeo. "You can hand over the baby and let me kill it- I mean, her. Look, I'll make it as painless for her as possible. You won't even have to look. Just...tell me where she is and I'll handle the rest." Inside the closet, Xara's entire body was shaking in both fear and anger.

Fred shook his head. "I can't do that, Romeo. I'd never forgive myself." He walked towards Romeo, grabbed him by the shoulders, and looked him square in the eye. "Romeo, try seeing this from me and Xara's point of view," he said. "We're tired of being Admins, and we don't want our child to grow up just as unhappy as we are. We just want to live normal lives and raise a normal family. Can you understand that?" Romeo looked down, his eyes covered in shadows. "I thought WE were a family," he said shakily. At first, it looked like Fred had finally gotten through to him...until Romeo suddenly plunged his fist into Fred's chest.

Xara screamed at the sight of her own husband being brutally murdered by her friend, but thankfully, Fred's own scream was loud enough to cover hers up. Fred slumped to the ground lifelessly, a gaping hole in his chest. Romeo looked down at his fallen friend with wide eyes. "What have I done?," he whispered to himself before shaking his head. Now was not the time to mourn. With a wave of his hand, he summoned forth a shadowy being with no humanoid features apart from shape and size. "Find it, Null," Romeo ordered. "Fred lied to me when he said we were the only ones in the room. The baby has to be in here somewhere." Null nodded and suddenly split up into several copies of himself, each one seeming to have a mind of its own and thoroughly searching the room. It would only be a matter of time before they find Xara and the baby hiding in the closet. Xara peeked through the closet door and cursed under her breath. "Damn you, Romeo," she growled. "Damn you and your Virus."

Suddenly, her eyes widened. "Virus...of course!," she whispered. Holding the baby in one arm, she held her other hand to her mouth and breathed a mist of red air into it. The mist solidified into a sphere in the palm of her hand, and she crushed the sphere with her fingers, carefully molding it like a piece of clay. Finally, she opened her hand, revealing a newly born Virus that was about the size of an egg. He had red eyes and a tiny, white hoodie. "Listen very carefully," Xara whispered to the Virus in her hand. Outside, Romeo and Null's clones were trashing the entire room. "Your name is Entity 303," Xara continued. "I created you, so you have to do whatever I tell you. Do you see my baby?" She held the bundle towards Entity 303. The baby saw the Virus and began babbling happily, reaching out to him as if he was a new toy for her to play with. Entity 303 gave her a small, nervous smile.

"That baby is my newborn daughter," said Xara. "She means the world to me. Now I have a very important job for you. I'm assigning you to be her new guardian. That means you will stay with her, keep her happy, and protect her from any harm. You must also inform her of her heritage as an Admin and prepare her for when she inevitably meets Romeo. Right now, she's our only hope for salvation. Do you understand?" Entity 303 hesitated for a little bit, then nodded shyly. "Good," sighed Xara. "Alright, in you go." With a small gesture of her hand, she sent the Virus into the baby's head, implanting him into her mind.

Right at that moment, the closet door was ripped from its hinges. "I found it, my Admin," said Null, peering into the closet. "And Xara is with it." Xara glared at the Null clone and quickly shot a laser beam at him from her hand, causing him to disintegrate. The rest of the Null clones immediately sensed that one of them was gone and reassembled back together. Xara glared at Null, then at Romeo, clutching the baby to her chest protectively. "Xara? That's where you were hiding?," asked Romeo, glancing at Fred's corpse uneasily. "You...you saw…?"

"Yes, I did," Xara growled. "How could you? How could you do that to Fred?!" "He left me no choice," said Romeo, glaring at the baby in her arms. "Xara, hand it over. I don't want to kill you too." Xara responded by clutching the baby tighter while taking a step back. Romeo narrowed his eyes before looking at Null. "Take it from her!," he ordered. "Yes, my Admin," said Null, his arms elongating and reaching towards the baby. "Don't you DARE!," Xara yelled, a shield of pure energy suddenly appearing around her and the baby, causing Null's hands to pull back in pain. "I...I am sorry, my Admin," Null whispered in shame. "I'm just a Virus. I don't stand a chance against her." "Seriously?!," Romeo groaned, rolling his eyes. "Fine! Take the day off or something! Ugh, useless." Null flinched at the poorly veiled insult, but complied and vanished in a puff of black smoke, going who-knows-where. "That Virus is going to rebel against you if you keep treating him like that," Xara snarked. Romeo scoffed. "Yeah, that'll be the day," he said dismissively. "Xara, I won't repeat myself. Hand that baby over."

"Why, so you could kill her like you did to Fred?!," hissed Xara. "You've become a monster, Romeo! You're no better than that old man now!" "I am NOTHING like Notch!," Romeo snapped. "You don't see ME turning little girls into statues!" "Oh, and covering the entire world in bedrock is SO much better!," Xara replied sarcastically. "XARA!," roared Romeo, his patience finally breaking. "HAND! IT! OVER!" He looked at the baby closely and narrowed his eyes when he saw what looked like tiny crackles of red lightning swarming around her eyes. "You implanted a Virus into it?," he asked, chuckling mockingly. "Xara, how stupid are you to think that a Virus would be enough to protect it from me, an Admin?" Before Xara could react, Romeo suddenly shot a pitch black laser at the baby. For some reason, the laser didn't seem to do anything, but knowing Romeo, that was definitely not the case. "What have you done?!," Xara cried in horror, staring at the infant. Romeo smirked. "I just put a little curse on that thing, no big deal," he chuckled. "Let's just say she'll have a...harder time using those Admin powers."

"You...you monster," Xara growled. Suddenly, she used her powers to turn the baby into a nether reactor core, then teleport the block somewhere. Romeo stared at Xara's now empty arms, his mouth wide open in both shock and anger. "What did you just do?!," he yelled angrily. "Where the hell is the baby?!" Xara only flipped him the bird.

Romeo didn't take kindly to that at all. "You...you…" He was too angry to finish his sentence. "What are you going to do now, Romeo?," spat Xara. "Kill me?" Romeo calmed down and shook his head. "No...losing one friend today was enough." He clapped his hands and summoned forth an orange block with multiple blinking lights. The command block. Xara's eyes widened. "Romeo...what the hell did you create?," she asked. "Oh, this?," Romeo said casually. "Just something that I've been working on in my spare time." He clapped a second time, causing the block to shoot a laser at Xara before she could even react. Instead of killing her, the beam began stripping her powers away, reverting her yellow skin back to its original light brown color. Xara screamed in pain, then fell unconscious after her powers were fully gone.

Romeo looked down at Xara's still body, his expressions ranging from furious, to indifferent, to melancholy. He shook his head in disgust and looked up in thought. "I'll find that baby," he vowed to himself, "even if I have to tear the whole world apart. And as for THIS one..." He chuckled bitterly. "There's nothing left for me here anyway." With a single clap, he teleported away. Not long after, a layer of bedrock began to cover the whole sky. Everyone saw what was happening and cried out in grief and horror, but there was nothing they could do. Once every inch of the sky was covered up, the whole world was engulfed in total darkness. This was when everything changed in an instant. This was when the Underneath was born.

At least, that was how the vision was supposed to end. But then, it was as if something or someone had reached their hand in and began changing and twisting the vision to suit their own needs. The vision began to rewind, like one of those VHS tapes that Kevin showed me a long time ago, but when it stopped and continued forwards, something was...different.

Suddenly, she stopped cold. "Fred," she whispered, her voice quivering. "Fred, there's something wrong with our baby." Fred quickly leaned in to see what she was talking about. His expression turned from confusion to horror. "Oh god," he whispered, beginning to hyperventilate. "Oh...oh god!"

The baby wasn't making any noise. She wasn't moving either. She wasn't even breathing. She was completely and absolutely still. "S-she's DEAD!," Xara sobbed. "Our baby died, Fred!" Fred was repeatedly shaking his head as if in denial, but the horrible, ugly truth was right in front of him, or more specifically, in Xara's lap. On that terrible day, with fireballs raining down from the sky, explosions in the distance, and terrified people running for their lives from all kinds of strange mobs, the unthinkable happened. Xara had given birth...to a stillborn.

The room's front door suddenly blew open, flying and crashing into the opposite wall. Romeo entered the room right after, glaring at Fred and Xara with clear disdain. "Hello, Fred. Hello, Xara," he growled in hatred. He was taken aback when neither Fred nor Xara paid any attention to him. In fact, it looked like the two of them were about to fall apart at any moment. He shook his head vigorously, refusing to let himself be distracted. "So where is it now, Fred?," he asked, looking around the room. "Might as well hand it over and save us the trouble." Fred looked up at Romeo with tear streaks on his face. His expression was that of pure fury. "Don't call her an 'it,'" he growled. Romeo rolled his eyes, even though on the inside, he was taken aback by how furious the normally calm Admin was. "Her, it, whatever," he said crossly. "Is she here right now? And what's going on with you and Xara?" He smiled mockingly. "Don't tell me the two of you have given up already." Suddenly, Xara tossed a nearby chair at Romeo with her telekinesis, which harmlessly shattered against Romeo's face. Nevertheless, the Admin was shocked by the sudden attack. "JUST LEAVE US ALONE!," Xara howled angrily.

Now Romeo knew that something wasn't right. He expected Xara to put up a fight, but he didn't expect her to be so hysterical about it. And now that he thought about it, Fred was also acting very strangely. What could've possibly happened before he came here?

"Romeo," Fred sighed tiredly, sounding like he was about to break down at any moment. "We don't have the time for you right now. Just go away and leave us alone already." Romeo's confusion was quickly replaced with anger and indignation. He put all this effort into instigating a massive takeover of the world, and now those two won't even bother putting up with him? This was inexcusable. "I don't think either of you understand the situation you're both in," he said. "I'm going to find that brat of yours and-" "YOU'RE the one who doesn't understand!," Xara suddenly yelled, once again taking Romeo by surprise. At that point, he finally noticed the bundle that she was holding in her lap. His eyes narrowed. "Hand that baby over," he said sternly. "Look, I'll make it as painless for her as possible. Neither of you even have to look." "...well you're already too late," Xara sniffled. "She's dead." Romeo blinked in surprise. "She's… what?," he asked, scarcely believing what he had just heard. "She's dead!," yelled Xara, glaring at Romeo with teary eyes. "Do I need to fucking spell it out for you or something?!"

Romeo was still lost, so he looked to Fred for an explanation. "She was a stillborn," he explained in a dead and lifeless tone. "She's been dead for a while now." He sighed heavily. "You must feel pretty happy right now, Romeo. You got what you wanted. Tell me...was it worth it?" Romeo wasn't sure how to respond to that. On the one hand, he got exactly what he wanted, as cruel as it sounded. But on the other hand, he just didn't know how to feel about Fred and Xara grieving over their dead child. He thought he hated them...but now, he wasn't so sure. "I...I can call off the attack," he said quietly. "Just for now. You know, give you two some time to yourselves." "...yeah," Fred spoke, slowly nodding his head. "You go do that." Romeo nodded and teleported away, leaving behind a grieving couple and their dead infant.

I immediately sat up, breathing heavily. Sweat was pouring down my face. That felt real...way too real. I wiped the sweat from my face and looked around to see where Herobrine had teleported me. I appeared to be in a dark room made out of nether bricks that had iron bars blocking the windows and an iron door. The only source of light was a single redstone torch on the wall, which didn't provide much light to begin with. I stood back up and tried looking through the bars in the windows, but they were bricked up. Am I in some kind of jail cell?, I thought. I began to wonder if Herobrine had brought me back to the Sunshine Institute, but that made no sense. For one, all the jail cells in the institute were made of solid stone, not nether bricks. Also, Herobrine promised that he would send me to "hell", and while the Sunshine Institute definitely wasn't the most pleasant place to be in, it's not exactly a place that I would call "hell."

"Hello?," I croaked out, then started coughing loudly. Geez, why did my throat feel so raw all of a sudden? "Hello?," I asked louder, hoping that someone would hear me. There was no response. I was about to start hollering when someone from outside walked up to the iron door and began banging on it loudly. "Shut up in there!," yelled a gruff voice. "Prisoners are supposed to keep their mouths shut!" I was annoyed by the rude treatment I was getting, but forced myself to remain calm. "Hey, do you have any idea where I am and how I ended up here?," I asked. "You're a no-good, rotten spy!," the voice snapped. "I'm not telling you nothing!"

A spy?, I thought in bewilderment. Back home, even though me and my friends were famous heroes with tons of fans, there were also plenty of people who hated our guts. As such, we were called many names by people we've never even met before. But a spy? That was a completely new one. I looked down and nearly gagged at what I saw. My entire body was filthy, covered in dirt and grime from head to toe. My normally white shirt was stained into a dark brown color, my jeans had weird splatters on them, and my hair was actually CRISPY for some reason. My pink skin was covered in dirt, mud, and grass that came from who-knows-where… wait a minute! Pink skin? But my skin turned light blue after I became an Admin…

I looked down at my hands and arms. Sure enough, my skin was back to its normal light pink color, albeit much dirtier than usual. Not only that, my long hair, which used to be the color of silver, had reverted back to its yellow color. I was now back in my human form. But that could only mean… I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and snapped my fingers.

Nothing happened. "...are you fucking kidding me?," I groaned.
