Celeste's POV
Clint, Natasha, Steve and myself made it to Seoul. Steve told me to stay on the jet and wait for his instructions. He'd just made it to Dr. Cho's lab.
"Dr. Cho!" We heads over the comms. We could hear his and Helen's conversation.
"He's uploading himself into the body." The woman sounded like she was hurt.
"Where?"
"The real power is inside the Cradle. The gem, its power is uncontainable. You can't just blow it up. You have to get the Cradle to Stark."
"First, I have to find it."
"Go." Helen insisted.
"Did you guys copy that?" Steve asked us.
"We did." Clint confirmed.
Natasha was on a tablet looking up flight manifests. "I got a private jet taking off, across town, no manifest. That could be him." She suggested.
"There." Clint nodded out to the free way. I turned over and saw a truck. "It's the truck from the lab. Right above you, Cap. On the loop by the bridge. It's them. I got three with the Cradle, one in the cab. I could take out the driver."
"Negative! If that truck crashes, the gem could level the city. We need to draw out Ultron. Celeste, get ready to jump in."
"Copy that." I responded. I took a drink of water before heading over to the door, ready to open it and jump out at a moments notice.
I could hear a blast over the comms and Steve grunting.
"Well, he's definitely unhappy! I'm gonna try and keep him that way." Steve announces.
"You're not a match for him, Cap." Clint states.
"Thanks, Barton." Steve says sarcastically.
"Wow, Clint. Wow." I chuckle.
"My bad..." he chuckles awkwardly. "We got a window, Nat." He holds his hand over a switch. "Four, three...give 'em hell." He flips the switch, the door in the floor opening up when Nat had hoped on a motorcycle, it dropping out onto the road.
"Okay, I think I can confirm I might have a bit of a girl crush." I say to Clint as I see Nat bending down and picking up the shield Steve lost.
"You're not the first." He chuckles in response. "They're heading under the overpass, I've got no shot." Clint says into the comms.
"Which way?" Nat asks.
"Hard right... Now." Clint directs.
After a minute of hearing Steve's struggle with Ultron and Nat getting him his shield again, I'm finally called in.
"Come on! Celeste, now might be a good time to fly in!" He instructs.
"Be there in no time." I light myself up in flames and jump out the door, flying to where Steve and Ultron are still fighting on the roof of the truck. I get Ultron in my sights and blast him repeatedly with fire balls, catching him off guard.
"Ugh! You!" Ultron yells, blasting lasers in my direction.
Steve continues to battle him, with my powers assisting him. I see Clint flying the jet close enough, getting the attention of the sentries, getting them to follow him.
"Ah!" I yell surprised.
Steve has tackled Ultron and I was close enough that he grabbed me by my arm, taking me with him as all three of us fly over into a train. Steve manages to twist us around, me being the one to land on top.
Clint comes over the comms. "Heading back towards you. So whatever you're going to do, do it now."
"I'm going in, Cap and Celeste, can you keep him occupied?" Nat asks.
I throw ice spears at Ultron as Steve just pushes him off him. "What do you think we've been doing?" He huffs, exhausted. Suddenly, Pietro and Wanda turn up on the train.
"Well, look who it is." I sass, blocking a laser attack from Ultron.
"We're here to help." Wanda insists. I glance to her.
"Okay." I say skeptically.
"Please. Don't do this." Ultron begs.
"What choice do we have?" Wanda says. Ultron grunts and flies off.
"I lost him! He's headed your way." Steve says Clint.
"I'll go after him, you guys stop this train!" I say, flying out of the train after Ultron.
I catch up to him and throw more fire at him. He looks back at me, throwing lasers again. I dodge them and continue to alternate throwing fire and ice. I catch up and jump on his back, shooting electricity into this head. He starts groaning from the pain, both of us throwing each other around as we continue to fly higher.
"You could have been great, Celeste!" He grunts.
"Not really my priority!"
Next thing I know, in our struggle he throws his head back into mine. I loose my grip on Ultron, falling back. I feel disoriented for a while, my vision blurred and then realise I'm free falling, Ultron now gone. I see that I'm fast approaching a building, so I blast out some ice in a downwards slope, almost like a slide.
I make contact with the ice, sliding down on my behind, coming to a gradual stop just before I could crash into a building.
"Holy shit..." I huff out lying onto my back, adrenaline pumping though my veins.
"Celeste?! You okay?" Steve asks.
"Yeah, where are you?" After he tells me where he is, I start making my way to him.
I land at the train crash site, Pietro hunched over breathing heavily, Wanda rushing over to him. I land right behind Steve as he walks up to them.
"I'm fine. I just need to take a minute." Pietro puffs.
"I'm very tempted not to give you one." Steve says in a stern voice.
Wanda turns back to looks at us. "The Cradle, did you get it?"
"Stark will take care of it." I say in a short voice. I'm not really impressed with her after our last meeting.
"No, he won't."
"You don't know what you're talking about, Stark's not crazy." Steve defends Tony.
Wanda looks at Steve incredulously. "He will do anything to make things right."
I turn away, placing my hand to my ear. "Stark, come in. Stark. Anyone on comms?" I ask.
"Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?"
Steve and I look to each other.
"Looks like we gotta get back." I state the obvious.
