Day 1: fantasy AU
Bad decides to go to the Nether for some time, leaving Skeppy to take care of their little sonny-wonny, Dream. This is the story on how Bad found their second son, Sapnap, and what Skeppy was doing with Dream at the time. Oh! And, of course, some Dream and Sapnap sibling bounding time.

"Bye you two! I'll be back soon, so don't worry about me." Bad said, picking up a small child Dream into his arms and lifting him up, "Don't worry about me, alright bud? I'll be back real soon, I just need to go there for a bit." Dream giggled as Bad lifted him, "Ok papa!" He shouted while having a big smile.
Skeppy walked towards them, and as though it was scripted, Bad put Dream into Skeppy's arms. "Bye my love!" Bad pecked Skeppy on his cheek, waving his hand good bye and walking out the door.
As soon as the door shut, Skeppy looked towards Dream, who already had his tongue out at him. Skeppy rolled his eyes, "Look, smiley, you're— we're gonna be stuck together still Bad gets home, let's at least be good without Bad, eh?" Dream pulled out his tongue and pouted at Skeppy, "Can we play something, dad?" Skeppy smiled, moving him and Dream to the computer where he already knew what Dream wanted to play.
Skeppy opened up the game and Dream smiled wider,
"BLOCK WORLD!"

Bad went into the Nether Portal, hoping to get some of the Crimson Forest's wood, as it would look so good with their house. And maybe gets some blaze rods for potions, and the loot from the Nether Fortress, of course. If you're in a Nether Fortress and you didn't get the loot from the chest, are you even human?
Bad walked out of the portal, going to the nearest Fortress he knew was there, so that his 'mission' could be done sooner. He's not stupid, he knows Skeppy and Dream have a complicated relationship. I mean, have you seen them? Bad can always catch Dream death glaring Skeppy at the corner of his eye at the dining table.
Finding the bridge he and Skeppy made to the Fortress, he walked down it. The lava underneath him making bubbling sounds, he ignored the sound, having hearing it too many times for even a demon like him.
Only something was a bit different about the noise this time. And after a moment upon realising it, he was hearing soft crying. He looked down, where the lava was, finding a fire-like-hybrid baby in it. His eyes widened at it, immediately thinking of how the hell do I get this thing away from the lava and into my arms?
Now, now, don't get him wrong, he's a demon. Not one that can particularly survive in lava, but upon seeing that baby in the lava he jumped off the bridge and was headed to the lava. Just a moment after did he realise he was diving into the lava, he was going to die if he fell into it and continued burning.
And, as soon as the lava was burning him, hastily pulled out the fire resistance potion he had on him. It could only last ten minutes, but that was enough for him. The baby was floating on the lava, crying so soft it wouldn't be heard by a normal person(lucky Bad isn't normal, huh?). Bad picked up the baby and wrapped his arms around it, singing softly so that it would stop crying(it always worked with Dream), and in some seconds the baby stopped and Bad was now trying to go to land through the lava.
He managed to get there in time, a minute left running on his potion. The baby had black hair, and it was shaped as though the hair itself was fire, the hair literally standing up. Bad could only assume, from what the baby looked like, that it was a boy. Bad looked around him, and trying to find a quick way to bring the baby to Skeppy so that he could take care of him and Dream while Bad goes out again.
His options were:
1. Block up to the bridge and go from there.
2. Just bring the baby to the Fortress to get his 'mission' over with and then go back home.
3. Try to find the baby's parents.
Okay. Cross out number 3, the baby was left in the lava, floating, the parent would have already found him if they were looking for him. (Which made him think that the parents aren't actually looking for their kid. Ouch.) And cross number 2, he is not going to put the baby in more danger. So that leaves number 1. And that really does seem like the best answer so far.
He had some cobblestone he could use, so carrying the baby in one arm, the other started placing blocks. Now he's back on the bridge, but instead of going towards the Fortress, he went the other, towards the little house he and Skeppy shared with their small family(now with one more member).
The portal's whirling noise had always spooked him, even does today, but he ignored it this time and started humming softly to the fire baby in his hands. The lava really made the baby feel really hot, the baby was literally burning Bad's arm, but could he care less? No way, the baby needs safety right now, not him. Plus, it wouldn't be the first time his arm would be burning, no matter how bad that really sounds, it wasn't too bad.
He made it back to the house, instantly hearing the yelling of Dream and Skeppy. Their relationship really was weird, wasn't it?
—
"Dad please! Let me have the mouse for once!" "Nope—"
Knock, knock.
Dream looked at him with wide eyes, questioning, 'is it papa?'. Skeppy smiled a bit, while whispering, "Sit here, I'll get the door okay?" To Dream's ear. Dream nodded slowly while Skeppy stood up to get the door.
Opening the door with the door nob, twisting it a bit before it clicked open. Behind it was Bad, and a baby—wait what?
"Hey love, I found him in the lava floating, think we can handle one more?" Bad chuckled lightly, placing the baby in Skeppy's arms as he pushed him aside to go to Dream. "Bud? I'm home and I got someone!" Dream's head popped out of the door frame, looking at Bad.
"Who? Where?" Bad smiled as he yelled to Skeppy, "C'mon! Let him look neat his new brother!" Skeppy walked towards Dream, kneeling so Dream could see him. Dream's eyes widened and he smiled widely. "What's his name?" Bad chuckled, ruffling Dream's blond hair, "I don't know yet, when he wakes up you can ask him, alright?" Dream nodded, still staring at the baby in Skeppy's arms.
"Can— can I hold him? He looks so tiny!" Skeppy chuckled a bit and gave the baby to Dream. Though Dream was only ten, the baby still fit perfectly in his arms. And after seeing enough baby pictures of Bad or Skeppy holding him as a baby, held him just like they did. "Hey smiley, I'll talk with your papa for some time, you hold him till we get back." Skeppy left Dream and the baby, going to talk to Bad about the baby.
And, in the stillness of everything, Dream whispered to the baby in his ear a silent promise,
"I'll protect you no matter what."
—
"Why did you break me out, Sapnap?" Dream asks him, now taller and scarier in a way, same goes with Sapnap(or the baby in the last case). "Well, have you heard what happened to dad and papa?" Dream nodded, "Where is this going?"
Sapnap chuckled, a single tear going down his face, "Let's save them, what do you say Dream?" Dream's eyes widened at that, "Sapnap, we'll die doing that!" "So what?" Dream looked Sapnap in the eyes, trying to figure out what his eyes were saying. All they were saying, however, was just: save, save, save. And nothing else.
And Dream had to agree that was all he wanted to do as well, ever since he heard the news. Sam told him, he had cried for days. Once Sapnap came to visit him, but just ending up crying with him.
Dream took a deep breath and smiled at Sapnap, a wicked smile.
"Let's get our dads back, then."
