Day 2: College AU(this is more of just U.A. than college tho)
The Baku-Squad has been bugging Denki for weeks about his crush on Shinso. Literally. Even Bakugou started bugging him with the Squad as well! It's crazy! Why won't they just shut up, don't they clearly see that Shinso doesn't like him back?!
Basically trying to say:
Times when the Baku-Squad tried to talk Denki into doing something to his crush, Shinso, and one time he was going to actually do something.

Denki has been crushing over Shinso for— how long? Since the sports festival, when he fought Deku and Denki thought, 'hell, he looks hot'. Honestly, ever since that day Denki has just looked at Shinso for a distance. He never went up to him and asked him, 'hey you wanna hang out?' Or, 'wanna be lonely with me?'. It was just a distance. For a few days, though.
And then that's when Mina noticed. The little shit.
She noticed right before the Summer Training Camp, when it hadn't even started yet. Mina and him were just walking around in a park, not much going on, until Mina told him something. And that's when Mina first knew about his crush.
"Kaminari, I can tell when people have a crush y'know?" She told him, and instantly Denki's mind was like, 'does she know?'. So he played dumb and answered with, "Okay? Who's got a crush on who? What tea are we spilling today?" He had sang the word 'today' making the pitch go up until the word was finished.
And, of course, Mina knew he was playing dumb. "Kaminari, you have a crush on someone. Who the hell is it? You can tell me anything, I won't tell anyone unless you want me to." Denki shrugged, "It's probably not who you think it is." "Jirou?" Denki shook his head, though he did have a close relationship with Jirou, the girl already had a crush on Momo(also being Momo's friend, he knew Momo was pining after Jirou as well).
Mina just raised an eyebrow, "Who is it? Bakugou?" Denki's eyes widened at that, she thought he had a crush on Bakugou? "What?! Bakugou?! No, that's— no!" Mina's questioning gaze was still on her face though, "Then who?" Denki sighed and looked around to see if any of U.A.'s students were here, luckily, they weren't. "Promise you won't laugh?" Mina nodded and Denki went close to her ear in case anyone was truly there, and whispered, "It's Shinso. The guy Deku went up against in the sports festival."
Mina had stayed quiet for a few seconds while Denki moved away from her ear, but the moment he was fully gone she yelled at him, "WHAT?!" Denki sighed and looked away from Mina, "I know, I know, it's weird and all." "No—that's not it— I just wasn't expecting it to be him!" "That's what I'm talking about, you didn't expect it so it must be weird."
Mina had never once made him not feel accepted, but hell did he feel like it now. "Kaminari, hey look, I respect it. You got any plans to confess." Now that took Denki off guard, "What? Confess? Hell no! Are you crazy?" Mina's eyebrow raised again, "What are you planning to do then?" Denki stood quiet.
What was he going to do about his crush? Absolutely—
"Nothing." Ah shit. He said that out loud. "NOTHING?!" And, ah shit, Mina's yelling at him now. "I mean, what am I supposed to do? It's not like we know each other at all." "Get closer to him? Be friends with him? Do anything but pine from a distance?"
Now that's harsh. Get closer to him? Hell no, he's just gonna fall more in love with him if he does that, and is gonna cry his eyes out once he's rejected. "No you're not. We can make some weird plan to woo the guy." We could— but that would take him getting closer to— wait—what? Is Mina mind-reading him?! "No stupid, you're talking out loud." Oh. That makes more sense. "Sorry, I'll try to stop doing that." Mina sighed beside him, their eyes meeting, meaning something serious.
"Look, you might pine forever, but not knowing Shinso at all is going to kill you one day. Just get a little closer to man, alright?" Denki shrugged, "Okay.. I'll try." "Should I tell the Baku-Squad?" Denki's eyes widened, "No!"
Mina ended up telling them(of course she wouldn't listen to Denki, she never does), and that's when they started bugging him about his crush on Shinso a lot more.
(Oh, and Denki didn't try at all to get closer to Shinso, I guess he never listens to Mina either. Maybe he should have.)

Sero was one of his best friends, and when after a few days since Mina told the Baku-Squad about Denki's crush, he thought it was a good time to bring it up to him.
It had happened in a café of sorts, a cat café to be exact. They were studying together, English was a subject they both sucked at, so why not be suckers together, huh? Though none of them were really cat lovers, they just went to a cat café cause why not? They might not be cat lovers, but that doesn't mean they don't like cats.
Denki had been eating a chocolate cupcake, while Sero was drinking a cappuccino. They were proofreading each other's stories(as that was what Present Mic told them to do, make a story about someone or something, just to check on your English, apparently the story didn't have to be that good). Denki had probably didn't know what to make a story about, so the story had been a story about a person who died, who had to watch the people they love mourn for them.
Wow. Sero reading it made him want to cry, how did Denki come up with something so sad? For goodness sake, Sero thought he wrote about what he felt after his dog died. Sero himself had written about someone who was quirkless and just wanted to fit in with everyone else.
Sero had finished reading Denki's story, and Denki was still reading his. That's when Sero looked up from Denki's paper, he noticed that Denki was— he was crying. "Kaminari?! Are you okay? What happened?!" He asked reaching forward for Denki's arm but ultimately failing, "I'm okay Sero, it's just your story— ah! It's too good!" Sero felt his eyes widened in surprise, "Oh. Uh— thank you? That really means a lot, man!" "No problem dude! It was great!"
Silence was next while Denki was still reading Sero's story and Sero was re-reading Denki's. "Alright, Sero I'm done. It was amazing, and as you already saw, I cried." Sero laughed a bit, "Yeah, I know, yours was really good as well. How did you come up with such a sad plot?" "How did we both do a sad plot?" "How is your crush on Shinso?" "Well—what?" Denki answered back, clearly taken off guard by the question.
Sero laughed loudly at his answer to it, "I asked you a question, Pikachu, come on!" Sero said, dragging the 'n' in 'on', "Answer the question." Denki just stared at him with wide eyes again, before finally answering, "It's okay, I guess. I'm still crushing for him in a distance." Denki said, ending it with a sigh, "Why don't you close that distance a bit, then?" "I'm too scared to. Maybe I'll mess something up and I'll never see him again." Sero pouted a bit, "That doesn't really seem like you dude. Usually you would go all in without any remorse, this is a way different you." "Sero! This is really different than actually fighting someone!"
They both had shared a laugh together. "Seriously though, why won't you just get a little closer to him?" Denki had smiled sadly and stood up from the table, not really answering the question.
It was only when they were going back to U.A. when Denki answered his question. In a soft whisper, he said, "And to answer your question, it was what I said before. I'm too scared of messing up and just making the distance even further than it was."

After saving Bakugou from the League of Villains, Kirishima thought it was a good time to ask Denki about his crush on Shinso. He had personally not minded it, until he realised it had been about a few weeks(if the crush started at the sport's festival) since Denki had a crush on Shinso. And Denki hadn't done anything about it yet?! Now that's not very manly of him.
So, he had to ask Denki about it. He is not letting his friend pine over someone without even knowing their first name(cause let's face it, that would be stupid). Now that they're in their dorms, going to Denki isn't that much of a problem.
Kirishima walked down the hall and stopped at Denki's door. It was early morning, and he knew Denki might kill him for this(at least he's not as overboard as Bakugou), but he can bare Denki giving him a thousand bolts.
Giving the door three knocks, he could hear Denki practically groan from the other side of the door. The door opened and Denki looked like he got back-stabbed by someone when he saw Kirishima. "What do you want? Isn't it still too early?" Kirishima smiled widely and answered, "Yeah, actually! Thought we could talk about a few things while watching the sunrise! Sounds good to you?"
Denki had a confused look on his face, but nonetheless had said, "Okay, but you owe me something cause you woke me up too early." "Yeah, yeah, okay, I got ya."
They had walked outside a bit, before Kirishima found the perfect spot to watch the sunrise(he had been there with Bakugou multiple times as well). It was on a slightly hill-like land, it wasn't that tall but it still was.
They sat down, eyes glued to where the sunrise would begin in a few minutes. Kirishima smiled a bit while turning to face Denki, "I wanted to talk about our crushes." He saw Denki's eyes widening, before Denki himself turned to make eye contact with Kirishima, "You have a crush?" "Well you do too." At that Denki put up a mischievous smile, "Well, Kirishima, who is it?" Kirishima chuckled, "Bakugou. Yours is Shinso, righ—" "BAKUGOU?!" Denki obviously was surprised, "Yes, it's Bakugou. You have a problem with that?" Denki quickly shook his head, "If I did, that wouldn't be very manly of me, right?"
They shared a laugh, "Oh, and yeah, mine is Shinso," Denki replied as the laughter died down a bit, "Nice, nice, have you done anything to—y'know? Have you done anything about your crush yet?" Denki laughed, "No. Have you even?" "Yes, actually! I grew closer to him! And I know his first name, do you know yours?" Denki's cheeks turned a bright red(out of embarrassment, of course(nothing else, alright?)), "Uh— no. I don't know his first name." Kirishima huffed, "That's what I mean. I am not letting my friend in the Baku-Squad have a crush and don't know their crush's first name!"
Denki turned forward to face the sky, where the sun was finally rising a bit. "Kirishima! Look!" Kirishima turned to the sky as well, the sun rising was a definitely beautiful sight. The sun rose to the sky, while the moon(that was behind them) was going down to the ground, the light taking the darkness of the night over.
After the sun fully rose, the light of it shining over all the land of Japan, Denki stood up and reached for Kirishima to as well. They stood up and began walking back to the U.A. dorms.
Denki hadn't said anything yet, neither had Kirishima though.
And that was the end of their conversation about their crushes.

Denki sighed while looking out of the window of his dorm. The Baku-Squad had all attempted to get him to confess to Shinso. Because of the joint training class 1A and B had(that Shinso also had), he had got some bonding with Shinso and managed to get his number(which, great job Kaminari, you're finally stepping up your game). And had been texting Shinso lately.
Shinso, Shinso, Shinso.
That was what his whole brain was. Shinso. He really is crushing really, really hard, isn't he? It was raining outside, and the droplets that went onto Denki's window were falling slowly, he always imagined that they were race cars, but as they were moving slowly he could only see the droplets instead of the race cars.
Then,
BANG!
"RIP-OFF PIKACHU! OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!" That was Bakugou's voice. Of course it was, he was the only one who called him 'rip-off Pikachu', while others only called him 'Pikachu'(people like Shinso). Bakugou was banging the door, and Denki could faintly hear other people with Bakugou(probably the Baku-Squad).
"Denki can you please open the door?" That one was Mina. Denki stood up and went to the door, opening it. Then Bakugou, Kirishima, Sero and Mina fell on top on him.
"BAKUGOU GET UP!"
That one was Kirishima. They eventually did managed to get off of each other.
They had all sat on Denki's bed, "What do you guys need?" "We wanted to ask— how are you and Shinso doing?" Mina asked, while Kirishima added with a smirk, "We heard you got his number." Denki felt his whole body turn bright red before it even did, "I—yeah! I did! We've been texting and—" "You love him too much?" Sero cut in, and Denki nodded nervously. 'This is not going to go well for me.'
Denki heard Bakugou huff, "Rip-off Pikachu, are you fucking finally getting somewhere with him? Cause if you're not, I will explode you to ashes, shit-head." Denki nodded quickly, "I have! I know his first name! It's Hitoshi! And—and-" He was cut off by Kirishima's clapping, "That's good! That's really good! You're actually getting somewhere!"
Denki hid his face in his arms, "You guys are making fun of me at this point," He heard Sero and Kirishima laugh, "Sorry, bro! It's just exciting to see you do something about your crush after—what? A month? Maybe more?" Sero spoke up. "See! You guys are making fun of me!" "Sorry, rip-off Pikachu, just, are you finally planning to confess to tried eyes? After these months?" Denki shook his head in his arms, "No way! That's way too early!" "How about—are you going to introduce him to us? We are your friends, after all." Sero said, "Well, introducing him to Bakugou would be a bad idea, Shinso practically hates Bakugou." Kirishima added.
"Guys! Don't pressure Kaminari! It's just the start anyway," Mina told her friends then looked at Denki, "You don't need to do anything yet. Just get closer to him!" She told him with a wide grin, then in a whisper, she said, "If you need any help, you know you can go to any of us, especially me." Kaminari chuckled, "Okay, okay, I know, don't worry Mina." He replied in the same whisper.
"Alright everyone! Let Kaminari speak to his boyfriend in text, let's get out of here!" Mina yelled at them, trying to push everyone through the door while winking at Denki.
Damn, Denki chose good friends, didn't he?

Today was the day. Today was the fucking day where Denki confessed to Shinso!
Denki had never felt this stressed and excited at the same time. Him and Shinso were good friends(he hated that word when put with Shinso), they had grew really close together, so he knew what would be the best way to confess to him after everything.
A walk in a really beautiful place, where flowers bloomed. Then, a little snack in a cat café Then they'll go to an arcade(and try to get some stuff out of it(it's fine if they don't)). And now it's night, where they'll got to see the night sky, as today would be the day when the sky was the clearest at night. They'll get to see all the stars shine in the bright sky, and then he'll confess! Perfect! (Hopefully)
He had already told the Baku-Squad this, and they were all pretty agreed that the plan was perfect, even Bakugou agreed with it! Now that gave him a lot of confidence with his plan, usually Bakugou's the type to shut everything down and say something stupid in replay, but he didn't!
He had already texted Shinso that he wanted to spend the day doing stuff that he planned, and Shinso texted back that he was free(though Denki already knew he was) and that he could come!
So here Denki is right now. Standing in front of the entrance to class 1A's dorms, where they always met up. "Kaminari?" Fuck. That was Shinso's voice. The voice came from behind him, and Denki turned to see Shinso. He was in causal clothes, just in jeans and a plain white shirt with a leather jacket. Denki was wearing a Pikachu shirt Bakugou gave to him for his birthday as a joke. He was wearing a coat with yellow and white stripes.
"Hey Shinso! How ya doing?" Shinso smiled and— Denki's heart had been squeezed. That happened a lot recently, didn't it? "I'm doing okay, you?" "'M fine."
And with that, the plan started.
They went through the flower park, looking at the various different flowers, pointing at their favourite ones, and taking photos. Shinso looked like he really liked that part, a content smile on his face once they left.
The cat café is the one Denki thinks Shinso liked the best. They were talking about random stuff while eating and petting the cats that were on their laps. Shinso was smiling the whole way through, and that on it's self doesn't happen very often. Denki thinks that thinking of this part was the best thing he's ever thought of(though he doesn't really think of that of great things).
The arcade was very, very, very, chaotic. Denki would be lying if he said it wasn't. There were many times they raged at the game. Like one time, it was the pearl game, and the small pearl the dropped kept on going into the tickets place when it dropped, and Denki had to stop Shinso from almost destroying the game.
They were playing one of those games where you control the gripping thing and send in down to grip it on whatever is in the game's box. What was in the box was a stuff toy Pikachu that Shinso said he wanted, so they tried multiple times to get it(taking turns), until they finally did. Shinso looked so happy when he got it, smiling so widely like he had won the lottery, that Denki couldn't help but smile as well.
In the end, they got ten thousand tickets til it was 9:00 PM. They could get something from little shop. Denki had saw a pillow-like stuff toy Gengar(which was only five thousand tickets), and he had got it in the end. They hadn't really gotten anything else. Though it was very chaotic, they had fun nonetheless.
Now. The last part. The part where Denki confesses. The part where Denki has been stressing about for the longest time ever since he came up with it.
They had sat in a field, looking up to the sky where the stars were shining brightly. Denki remembers he took a glance at Shinso, and somehow, Shinso was more breathtaking than the night sky was. Shinso's hair was all over the place(it made him look very sexy), his month was slightly open in astonishment, and his eyes were opened wide. Denki took a deep breath and looked towards the sky again.
He saw a shooting star.
"Kaminari! Look! Make a wish, quick!" Shinso shouted at him. And Denki listened to him, closing his eyes and thinking of his wish:
I hope this love really is required.
"Kaminari? Did you make your wish?" Shinso asked him and Denki turned to face him, "Yeah, I did, you?" "Yup." Silence filled the air as they just stared at each other. Though the silence was comfortable, nothing was that of awkward about it.
Then Denki remembered why he was here. He was here to confess to Shinso, right?
So in the light of speed, leaned in to kiss Shinso's lips for a short moment. He then leaned away, and took a brief glance at Shinso, who's eyes were wide open in surprise. Denki then realised what the fuck he had just done.
"Ah! Sorry, I didn't mean to— ah, shit, how do I say this? Um—Shinso, I really like yo-" He was cut off by Shinso, who had placed his lips on Denki. Denki looked surprise, and truly was, but when he got his shit back together, he kissed back.
Nothing else mattered in this exact moment, just the two of them.
(And Denki couldn't think of anything better than this exact moment between them)
