Chapter 6

Ratchet had Optimus on a medical berth and was treating him when Lennox and Epps came into the medical bay.

Lennox had to admit Optimus didn't look good at all, and the fact he seemed to still be smoking in his body it worried him. Epps glanced up at the Autobot medic then, and wanted to ask the question both he and Lennox were thinking.

"Is Optimus alright?" Lennox asked.

"Yes, no thanks to that human femme." Ratchet mumbled as he continued to treat Optimus who was getting better from what Missy had done to him.

-Oooo-

However, in the cell where Missy Rainer was being held in, she was in shock over what had happened to Optimus because of her. It was all her fault, and she had no idea how or why it happened in the first place.

"What have I done, what have I done?" she kept asking herself over and over again as she rocked back and forth.

She started to cry uncontrollably then; she had no idea what to do now, however. She didn't blame Optimus Prime now at all, she was a threat to him and everyone else.

She heard a sound and slowly gazed up, she saw it was Wheelie and Samuel James Witwicky in there now.

"You got a lot of nerve lying and then trying to kill Optimus Prime," Sam remarked sourly as she shook her head violently then while tears ran down her face.

"I didn't know anything about that power that came from my hands, I never had that happen to me before….. Ever." She replied as tears continued to run down her face. "I swear I never did it before, Optimus Prime is my hero I'd never harm him ever!" she cried as her hands shook.

Silence…

"Never would I hurt him ever, Sam." She repeated. "Ever, you have to believe me, please." She cried as Sam shook his head and walked away.

"Stupid broad," Sam grumbled as he started to leave the cell area, but then turned back toward Wheelie. "You coming, Wheelie?" Sam asked.

"Yea, in a minute, freshmen," Sam asked.

"I told you to stop calling me that now," Sam remarked sourly.

"Don't wanna," Wheelie responded.

"Suit yourself," Sam remarked as Wheelie heard the door close.

Wheelie saw Missy crying very hard then, and then he rolled up toward the cell.

"Were ya tellin the truth before?" he asked her as she glanced up her eyes red and swollen from crying.

"Of course, I was! I would never hurt him, he's, my hero." She answered as her tears continued to roll down her face.

Wheelie knew he could get into a lot of trouble if he got caught doing what he was planning on doing. However, there was just something about this human that seemed so sincere to him and he wanted to help her somehow.

"Hey, if ya are really tellin me da truth, I'll get Brainy and help ya get away, K?" Wheelie asked.

She was still crying when she glanced up and shrugged at that.

"And, go where?" she asked wiping her eyes and blowing her nose on a tissue.

Silence….

"Optimus knows where I live," she replied with a sigh. "Besides I'm not even from this realm, it doesn't matter anymore," Missy said.

"I dunno maybe the three of us can be together, whatcha think?" Wheelie asked.

She nodded, she needed to think and figure out what happened to her and why?

"Alright, please help me, Wheelie." She said sadly.

"K," Wheelie replied then.

"I'll be back wit, Brainy, k?" Wheelie replied.

"Okay thanks," she said as she watched Wheelie roll away, her heartbreaking still because she never meant to hurt Optimus Prime at all.

She kept trying to focus on how this had happened to her, and then it hit her all at once.

"Oh, my goodness! It was the bizarre storm that happened, it has to be that there's nothing else it could be." She replied as she snapped her fingers.

Abruptly, the sky turned an eerie blackish green as thunder rumbled loudly, while pinkish lightning flashed all over the sky in a spooky fashion.

"What the hell is going on?" Lennox asked a little on the startled side.

"Come on," Epps said as both men ran outside, however they instructed the Autobots to stay put because they had no idea if this strange lightning would have any effect on them or not.

However, meanwhile, the pinkish lightning danced all around the sky, while Wheelie rolled up and got Brains.

"Come on, we is blowin this joint an goin wit that pretty human femme," Wheelie said to Brains.

"Thought she caused da boss bot ta have a meltdown?" Brains asked.

"Well, ya, she did, but it ain't her fault." Wheelie explained to Brains.

"K, let's go," Brains said as Sideswipe and Sunstreaker watched from a distance away.

"What are those two runts up too?" Sunstreaker asked his twin brother.

"Beats me," Sideswipe mused.

Wheelie transformed into his little RC vehicle form, and Brains hopped on as he drove away into another part of the base to evade suspicion by the others, but especially the twins.

Meanwhile, in the cell, Missy heard the thunder and froze, she became increasingly upset as the storm escalated like the one in her dimension was. However, what she wasn't ready for was the silhouette in front of her now, while the pink lightning danced all around it.

"Do not be afraid, you've been chosen." The silhouette replied as it started to come in clearer.

"Chosen, chosen or what?" she asked.

"Chosen to be Optimus Prime's guardian," the silhouette replied while Missy stood the in silence.

She was too shocked for words….

Xxxx

"We have ta hurry," Wheelie said, rolling down the hallway.

"That thunder is freaky," Brains said.

"Don't know where it came from, don't care," Wheelie said. "We have ta not get caught eitha."

"We could gets in big trouble if we do," Brains agreed.

Thor knew it was time. He had gotten his answer. And he had to hurry. He flew off, knowing exactly where he was headed.

'Hold on. I'm coming to help,' Thor thought.

"What the slag is going on?" Ratchet demanded.

"We don't know," Lennox shouted over the thunder.

"Slag it!" Ratchet cursed, messing with the equipment hooked up to his Prime. "I need to get these stabilized!"

"Do what you can!" Lennox said. "I'll go see if I can't find out what is going on!"

The small human ran off, avoiding the men and women scurrying around and shouting. This was really weird and new. Ratchet continued to fiddle with the machines, the thunder loud and lightning striking the ground outside.

Ratchet glanced outside, seeing chaos. He had no idea what was going on, but he didn't care. He needed to concentrate on Optimus right now. He turned back to his leader, worrying about him. The blue and red flamed mech remained still, totally oblivious to the world around him with the ensuing chaos.

'Primus, please help Optimus,' Ratchet prayed.

The Terror Twins ignored the two minibots for now. They had more urgent business. They would report this later on to the others. They rolled up, seeing that the lightning hadn't stopped, nor the thunder. They joined the other Autobots, who remained a safe distance inside so they wouldn't get hit by the lightning.

"Where are the minibots?" Ironhide demanded.

"They went off somewhere," Sideswipe said. "What's the situation?"

"We have no idea. This is completely strange. Ratchet is helping Optimus right now," said Ironhide.

"Is Prime okay?" Sunstreaker asked.

"As far as we know, yes," Jolt said.

"Then I just hope he stays safe. And that this disappears soon," said Ironhide.
