"Gideon, who out of the legends are still onboard?" Zari asked taking up the mantle of captain whilst Sara was gone.
"Two life forms detected. Yourself and Charlie. I'm afraid most of the legends are now missing." Gideon told Zari.
Zari sighed as Gideon told her that. At least she had Charlie she thought to herself but still worried about the other legends. Since they had been in the time vortex, the others could literally be anywhere in history. This might take a while.
"What's the damage to the ship?" Zari took stock of her surroundings.
"Hull damage mainly. Some damages in med bay and to the bridge. Other than that just the doors need looking at."
"Nothing serious then?!"
"Would you like me to call Charlie to the bridge?"
"Yeah why not. We're the only ones left, might as well stick together." Zari shrugged.
"Yes Captain…" Gideon went to say.
"Don't call me that! Sara will be back before we know it so I'm not going to get used to being called that." Zari warned Gideon.
Gideon didn't respond so Zari knew she had taken this in. She ran her hand through her hair as she began to take in the damage on the bridge from where the door had opened. She would have to find out how that opened so suddenly so it didn't happen again.

The last thing Jax could remember was the door to the cargo bay flying open and Nate trying to close it. After that he didn't remember much. Nate obviously hadn't succeeded with that mission.
Jax slowly opened his eyes. It was very bright so he could tell he wasn't on the waverider anymore. As he came to, he could feel grass on his back and under his hands. He blinked three times trying to make sense of what was going on. He heard groaning coming from next to him and then Ray and Nate sat up. Jax did the same rubbing his forehead trying not to make grass stains on it.
"Where are we?" Jax moaned.
"I think the main question is when. Since we were in the time vortex." Ray corrected him much to Jax's disgust.
"Any ideas Nate?" Jax asked sarcastically knowing none of them knew.
"Very funny Jax! Come on. Let's go and see our surroundings." Nate got up from the ground.
The three men got up groaning. They had hit the ground quite hard from when they fell. Nate fell again with his hand landing on the ground to keep him from falling too badly. Jax and Ray rushed over to him.
"Nate what's wrong?" Jax demanded.
"I don't know. My head is still spinning." Nate tried to make his friends calm.
"Let me have a look." Ray sat down next to Nate.
Nate pushed Ray away weakly. Obviously he was hiding something. Jax stood back but still scanned Nate's body to see if he had any injuries. None that stood that at least. Then he looked at Nate's ankle. Oh dear.
"Nate, I think you've broken your ankle." Jax suggested and nodded down to Ray so he could have a closer look.
Ray confirmed it. Nate had broken his ankle! Nate sighed loudly to show he wasn't very pleased with that. True would anyone be pleased to have a broken ankle, let alone on an important mission like this one. Ray winced with pain once he had checked over Nate. Jax rolled his eyes.
"Ray you're not injured as well are you?!" Jax tutted, putting his hands on his hips.
"It's nothing Jax! Probably just landed on my back the wrong way." Ray swatted him away.
"Don't say that! You moaned at me for hiding something!" Nate folded his arms across his chest.
"Fine. My shoulder is slightly hurting." Ray admitted sadly.
"Great! What am I going to do with you?" Jax threw his arms up in the air.
A rustle came from behind them. With Jax the only one able to completely move, he stood in front of his friends with his fists up. If anyone was going to threaten them, they would have to get through him first. Another rustle came from the side of them. They were surrounded by the sounds of it.
"Keep close." Jax whispered to the other two.
"We're not exactly in the right mood to move right now." Nate whispered back.
"Show yourselves!" Ray suddenly shouted to where the sounds had come from.
No response came back which was a bit more settling. There was silence for a few moments before men in blue uniforms came striding towards them armed with muskets.
"Well done Ray!" Nate rolled his eyes again.
Ray went to say something, however he didn't think it was wise with soldiers in front of them. Jax smiled to himself. It was great to be back!

Gary waited in the same spot he landed as Ava walked around a bit. Ava was always the one who was more adventurous and would scope something out. This was no different. Gary kept his knees close to his chin as he sat waiting. He didn't know where he was and apart from Ava, there was no one else around that they knew.
"Gary, stop being so pathetic!" Ava shouted over to him which made him jump.
"I told you, didn't I? I knew Jax coming back meant a bad thing!" Gary shouted back.
"This has nothing to do with Jax!"
"How do you know? Maybe he caused the doors to open. We don't know, do we?!"
"Oh my gosh!"
"Any signs of anyone?"
"Nope. Looks like we're all alone. How sad."
"Stop joking around. We're lost!"
Ava sighed. Of course the one person she would be stuck with would be Gary. Sometimes he was alright but the slightest change to something and he would freak out.
"Everything is going to be fine Gary." Ava sat back down next to him to console him.
"I'm cold!" Gary just said.
"Well there's nothing I can do about that."
"You can give me a hug."
"Don't push it!"
"Hello?" Someone called out to the pair.
Ava jumped up, pulling a shivering Gary with her. Gary started shivering even more which made Ava start shivering because of how close he was standing.
"Hello!" The voice called out again.
Gary gave a closer listen to the voice calling out. Ava looked at him amazed he was being so confident.
"What is it?" She whispered.
"The accent. It's British." Gary told her.
Footsteps came closer and closer to the two friends.
"Is anybody there?" The voice called out to them again, still trying to make contact.
"What do we do?" Gary asked Ava.
"I don't know."

Mick sat in a deep dark prison. He had woken up there since getting thrown out of the waverider. Someone had taken him there by the sounds of it. He just loved sitting in prison again! At least he had some time to himself which he doesn't get much anymore. He heard voices coming towards him outside the cell.
"So what are we going to do with him?" Someone asked.
"Send him to Bill. He's always saying he needs some new people." Another answered.
Mick stayed where he was trying to judge who exactly Bill was. It didn't sound like a nice person but he was up to anything nowadays!
"Is Bill really that desperate?!" One of the voices asked again.
"Yeah his new play comes out soon and he needs a new cast member."
"Can't wait to see it."
Mick heard the door to his cell click. Here we go.

"Ow!" Constantine moaned.
Sara was holding Constantine up as they walked along a road towards a light nearby. Constantine had been badly injured by the fall but as Sara wasn't a doctor, she didn't know how bad just yet. It didn't help that he had been moaning since they had started walking.
"Stop moaning!" Sara hissed.
"I would love to but there is a reason why I am moaning!" Constantine moaned back.
"We're nearly there. Just hold on." Sara was more telling herself this than telling him.
Constantine then went quiet which never meant a good thing when Constantine was concerned. Sara struggled to carry his weight and keep walking herself. She then collapsed after a few more steps.
"I can't go any further John." Sara panted.
No response came from Constantine. His eyes were closed but at least he was still breathing. Sounds of hooves came bounding up the road. Sara tried to shield Constantine's body. The hooves suddenly came to a stop just in front of her.
"Miss Lance?"
