Chapter Twelve

Missy let loose with her pink lightning at the same time that Thor came riding his own lightning taking care of the other Decepticons. Missy kept hitting Megatron with her lightning and grabbed the vile of the cure.

"Stay away from Optimus, Megatron," Missy threatened.

"Go, I will follow," Thor ordered as Missy took to the sky with the cure and Megatron snarled at the interfering humans as Thor took off.

No, Megatron thought these two were clearly not human, and he intended to find a weakness and get them both for this….. That he thought would be a promise. He would get them both and torture them both slowly until they died.

"I want you to find out who they are and learn of any weaknesses they have, and find out if any others would join our cause to bring those two to their knees, understand!" Megatron yelled.

"Yes, Megatron," Starscream and Soundwave both said.

NEST base…..

Missy arrived first and gave Ratchet the vile of the cure as her eyes never left Optimus as she flipped up and went to his face.

"Fight, damn you!" Missy ordered as tears her eyes as Thor arrived but went where the minibots were hidden.

Ratchet watched the human female as she yelled at Optimus to fight, there was something odd about her. They had a brand-new ally, one that was clearly very powerful.

One who was not afraid of confronting Megatron or his Decepticons.

Several days later, Optimus got a clean bill of health from Ratchet who also told about the who saved him by going after the cure.

"Where is she?" Optimus asked.

"Outside," Ratchet said as the two went outside.

Optimus walked over toward the femme, and he smiled warmly at her.

"Thank you for your assistance, you helped us and…me a great deal," Optimus replied.

"You're very welcome, Optimus Prime," she answered as Optimus and Ironhide recognized the voice just as Ratchet had before when he heard it as the voice for Missy Rainer.

"You sound just like that…" Optimus started to say.

Silence…

Missy froze then, she could bolt and act like she didn't know what they were talking about.

"Who…..?" Missy asked trying to lie out of it as Lennox, Epps, and Graham walked up.

"That slagging human who almost toasted our leader and Prime," Sideswipe growled as Missy took a chance to peer up at Optimus, but she couldn't read his expressions then.

"Well?" Optimus asked.

She glanced back at him then.

"Well, what?" she asked.

Optimus sighed then.

"Are you Missy Rainer?" Optimus asked as she thought about lying and just running.

Then she spotted Wheelie and Brains with Thor and realized they weren't coming over. She also realized if she was going to make sure she was around to help Optimus she'd have to make up another identity as well as her superhero one.

She smiled then.

"I'm…..

"She is with me…..!" Thor shouted as he walked up while the minibots stayed behind and watched.

"Who are you?" Lennox asked.

"I am Thor, God of thunder." He replied. "And… and this is the Pink Avenger." Thor remarked.

"Pink Avenger?" Missy asked but stopped when she saw the Autobots and humans look at her oddly. "Yes, I am the Pink Avenger." She remarked.

She was so going to get Thor for that one…..

"That is strange, you sound so much like a femme who had broken laws against our kind," Optimus replied.

Optimus was stunned, truly stunned now, everything read that this human was indeed Missy Rainer. However, this human male said she wasn't and she herself told them she wasn't, however, in either case, she was an ally a welcomed ally.

Optimus' POV

I glanced down at her, perhaps I was wrong I supposed in time we shall see with her. She still could stay on the base though, because she had powers and the other humans might try to do experiments on her.

"You should remain on the base though because once other humans learn of your presence, they might try to do harm to you," I replied.

"Oh, but…" she started to say.

"May I speak with you privately, please," I asked her as I lowered my hand toward her.

She glanced over at my hand, and then slowly walked onto it.

She sat down in my hand, while I walked to the far side of the base.

"So, I can be assured the minibots are with you, correct?" I questioned which obviously took her off her guard slightly.

"Of course, they are." She replied as she growled then. "You tricked me." She retorted.

"Indeed, I did," I answered. "Do you honestly think me addlepated, Miss rainer?" I asked her.

Silence…..

"No," she replied.

Silence…..

"So, that's why I am supposed to stay on base still, you still don't trust me?" she asked me.

"I want you here to monitor your whereabouts and….. to make sure none of the humans who do not like our presence here on your planet decide to take you into their custody and experiment on you," I said as she glanced up into my optics then.

"You're protecting me?" she asked me in a puzzled tone of voice.

"I suppose in a sense I am," came my reply. "Among other things," I said.

"Thank you," she said. "Wait, what do you mean other things?" she asked.

"You're welcome," I answered. "I will speak with my men and from now on your identity other than Pink Avenger will be changed for your safety," I replied.

"To what then?" she queried.

"I will converse with my men about that until then you will respond only to the hero name that human male gave you," I stated.

"Alright as you wish, Optimus." She answered. "You didn't answer my question though," she said as I smirked.

"I am quite aware I didn't for now you can wonder what I have in store for you," I said as I cast a quick glance at her and caught the faint scent of excitement come from her.

Good.

Mostly, because part of me still had doubts about these powers of hers, and it was that suspicious side of me that has kept me alive as a leader and prime for all these vorns.

All I knew was this was far from over not by a long shot was it over.

Missy was allowed a little freedom while on the base. It annoyed the hell out of her, but it was better than that cell they had first put her in. And when she wasn't inside being watched, she was outside with the minibots and Thor.

"You're getting better," Thor praised. "Keep it up, and you'll be able to fully control your powers with no problem."

"I'm glad," Missy said. "I don't want a repeat at all of what happened before."

"I don't think it could," Thor said. "But the time for me to leave is here."

"What? Why?" Missy asked.

"Because I am not needed to train you anymore," said Thor.

"Awe," Missy whined. "I enjoy hanging with you."

"What about us?" Wheelie asked.

"You two as well, "said Missy.

"Yay!" the two grinned.

Missy smiled and shook her head at them. They were so silly.

"Well, I thank you a lot then Thor, for teaching me," Missy said. "I'm glad you did."

"You are welcome," Thor said. He swung his hammer before leaving.

Missy grinned before her face dropped. How could she have forgotten? She was so stupid!

"What's wrong?" Brains asked.

"My best friend Noella. I totally forgot about her. She must be wondering where I'm at," Missy said. "She is back in my realm."

Noella hummed a happy tune as she worked while cooking. She scooped out some more peanut butter onto the spoon in her hand, sticking it in her mouth before typing away at her laptop.

Noella stopped, looking at her phone. Missy hadn't contacted her for a long while. That wasn't like her. Noella picked up the phone, sending a quick text to her best friend. But another came in quickly, saying that the number was not in service.

"Strange," Noella muttered. "Maybe she is getting a new number or something. I'll message her tomorrow."

Noella continued to type away at the computer, grinning as she posted the first few chapters for her fanfiction she was doing. She loved Transformers a lot, same with Missy. And Noella was just starting with fanfiction too. Well, at least writing it.

She read a ton of fanfictions for Transformers. It was pretty much all she read. And then after Missy's stories and reading them, Noella decided to try it out for herself.

"Well, good luck to me," Noella said, hitting the publish button. Now to wait and see who would read it.
