Nate left the tent first with Jax just behind. Ray's shoulder was still bothering him so stayed behind just in case they needed anything else. Nate was the most worried. He liked Grant and didn't want to see him hurt especially if it changed history. Sara would be mad with him if that happened under his watch. Either that or she would blame Ray for it.
"What's going on?" Jax whispered in Nate's ear as they got nearer to a crowd in the middle of the tents.
"Hold back. I don't want you getting involved. You know what time period it is." Nate warned Jax.
"What?! No!" Jax nearly shouted.
"Jax! Just stay back." Nate pushed Jax.
Jax stared at Nate for a moment. He then nodded and sighed sadly as he let Nate get involved. Nate was right, Jax wouldn't be accepted by some of the soldiers and wouldn't listen to him either. Nate smiled somewhat and made his way to the middle of the crowd and found Grant with his hands on his hips staring at something on the ground.
"What is it General? What are all the men shouting about?" Nate asked tentatively.
"Men back to your tents. I'll deal with this." Grant ignored Nate and spoke to his men instead.
The men listened and went back to their own tents, murmuring as they went. Grant then turned to Nate with a concerned look on his face.
"Is this you? Please tell me it was you." Grant almost begged Nate pointing at the ground.
Nate looked down at where Grant was pointing. His eyes widened as it became clearer. An arm lay there. Zombified.

Ava and Holmes made their way back to the pub. Ava was still thinking through how a piece of the Waverider could have ended up here. Holmes stopped and Ava tumbled into his back.
"You're obviously not looking where you're going." Holmes smirked as Ava brushed herself off.
"Sorry. Just something bothering me." Ava waved off his remark.
"Anything I can help with?"
"Just missing my team. We haven't exactly been away from each other like this before." Ava tried not to reveal too much.
"Is Gary part of that team?" Holmes continued to enquire.
"Yes. I know it might not seem like it but he's quite useful sometimes." Ava smiled when she said this.
"I can see that. I think that about Lestrade sometimes."
"I'll tell him that."
"He already knows. You got a partner or something back with your team?" Holmes was bound to ask that sooner or later.
Ava went quiet when Holmes asked this. How was she going to explain her relationship with Sara? Holmes might be up to accepting most things, but she doubted this.
"I am close with someone." Ava finally found the words.
Holmes could see Ava was awkward with this question so decided not to ask anymore about it. Luckily for the both of them, the pub was in sight and Ava rushed towards it.
"She gets more and more interesting." Holmes sighed.

The crashing hadn't sounded through the forest for quite a few moments. Charlie and Zari were very happy that this was the case. They didn't fancy running much further.
"It's getting dark. We should get back to the Waverider." Zari mentioned yawning.
"Alright. Are you sure that thing won't come back?" Charlie shuddered looking into the distance.
"I'm not sure Charlie. I'm just guessing. Maybe it found something more interesting than us." Zari shrugged.
Charlie shook her head at Zari's remarks. They both made their way to find the ship. As the forest was full of trees, it felt like they were going round in circles! Charlie got more and more frustrated as they carried on.
"How much further?!" Charlie moaned, sounding like a little kid.
"Would you stop complaining?! It's giving me a headache." Zari moaned back.
"Well if we were back at the ship, I could give you something but we're not! So deal with it." Charlie hissed.
"Want to find the ship on your own?"
"No."
"Good. Then stop complaining and follow me." Zari waved her hand to in front of her.
Charlie bit her tongue and followed Zari. The Waverider must be somewhere around here. It's not like it was hard to miss! They just hoped whatever was living around here, hadn't messed it up more then it was when they landed.

Mick once again woke up in a prison for the second time! Shakespeare sat across from him, shuddering and talking to himself. Mick rolled his eyes and leaned against the pillar behind him.
"When do you think we'll be out of here?" Mick scoffed.
"You're awake then." Shakespeare muttered.
"Well when do you think we'll see the king? I have a tight schedule."
"I don't know Mick! It's not exactly like I planned to see the king or get taken by his guards." Shakespeare shouted.
"You said you needed to see him!" Mick shouted in response.
"I do but not like some criminal or whatever. No offence." Shakespeare quickly added to the sentence.
Mick folded his arms over his chest. He knew what Shakespeare meant by that. Shakespeare knew about Mick's past and knew what he had done. Before he could come back with a comeback, the door creaked open. Shakespeare sighed and got to his feet. Mick sat down waiting for someone to come in and get him up.
"The king needs to see you. He's decided to see you in a less intense area." The guard at the door said, taking a step back.
"Get up!" Shakespeare hissed at Mick.
Mick did what Shakespeare said. He didn't sound in the mood to say that twice without hurting him. The king then entered, coming out of the shadows. The guard saluted and Shakespeare stood to attention. Mick stayed still.
"Shakespeare." The king nodded.
"Your majesty. You wanted to see me." Shakespeare sounded quite tense and looked like he was sweating.
"Yes. I need your advice on something I'm writing." The king sounded calm which was a good sign.
"So we went through all this, just so you could get some advice?!" Mick shouted.
The guard took a step forward but was stopped by one wave from the king. Shakespeare shook his head at Mick. Mick didn't care if he had done anything wrong though. This was a rubbish way to get someone's advice!
"Who is this?" The king turned to Shakespeare, wagging a finger at Mick.
"A friend. He's helping me take on some of my least loyal fans." Shakespeare lied.
"A friend?!" The king sounded surprised.
"I can hear you, you know." Mick rolled his eyes once again.
This time Shakespeare didn't tell Mick no. He actually agreed with him this time. The king could sometimes put his foot in it and this was one of those times!
"You'd better come with me then." The king nodded and left the cell.
"Well go on then." The guard said as Shakespeare and Mick stood there waiting for an invitation.
Shakespeare and Mick didn't need to be told twice and quickly got out of the cell. They didn't want to be on the receiving end of the guard. Well not a second time at any rate.

Holmes and Watson had gone to their rooms, leaving Ava and Gary to theirs. Ava was pacing the floor nearly wearing it out. Gary didn't feel too good after drinking in the pub all night with Watson and Lestrade. Lestrade had left being held up by other officers that had joined him on the crime scene.
"How did a piece of the Waverider end up here? I mean it's not like the Waverider broke into a million pieces." Ava kept thinking out loud.
"Can you not be so loud?" Gary said, rubbing his forehead.
"Sorry. Do you think everyone else is okay? I mean the crew and all that. We don't know where they are and they don't know we're here. Do you think we'll ever see them again?" Ava blurted out and didn't sound like she was going to stop any time soon.
"Ava!" Gary snapped.
Ava stopped pacing and fell onto her bed. Gary tried to curl up into a little ball as Ava gave him one of her best ice cold stares.
"I know. I'm sorry. I don't mean to go on." Ava sighed as tears started to form in her eyes.
"Just get some rest. I'm sure Holmes will want you fully awake tomorrow morning." Gary smiled.
Ava threw one of her pillows at Gary's head. She then tucked herself into the bed and shut her eyes. Sherlock Holmes might be interesting to talk to but there was nothing between them.
