Dustine, wearing additional blowspear cyclone armor on her exo-suit, fired off a repulsor blast at the fake War-Frame. The fake warframe grunted skidded back even as aber Prime thrusted her knuckle bomber into the fake Saber Blue's helmet. Sylia landed on her feet and gestured dramatically as War-Frame did a three point landing near Saber Green and Saber Purple. "Knight Sabers! Go!"
"You came!?" Nene glanced at War Frame.
"Hey they implicated me in the Factory destruction too." Dustine shrugged.
"Even so..." Linna sighed then blinked when a heavily armed War Machine and Iron Man landed next to War Frame.
"Iron Man!" The knight sabers exclaimed.
"In the flesh. Or Armor." Tony quipped, glanced at the fakers, nodded with a grunt, then glanced at War Frame. "Well, looks like you were right. Still, I want head back to the tower, kiddo. Now. Hill is pissed." Dustine was about to take off when one of the fake Saber Prime spoke up in a mechanical voice. "...and all the players have arrived."
Moments later, three customized 10 foot tall hyper boomers burst from their their disguises. One was red had a triangle head and was thinner than the other two. A heavily armored brut which burst from Saber greens suit lumbered forward while a tall dark and grey unit folded its arms as the fake War Frame stepped forward. Dustine got ready to fight when something huge and monstrous burst from the fake War Frame. It looked like a cross between Iron Mongler and the prototype 99-C super boomer. The thing even had a arc reactor in its chest.
"Where did they get an Arc Reactor?" Tony grumbled.
"Hammer?" War Machine joked.
Tony snorted.
"Tony. Its power levels..." Dustine said as she analyzed the unit. "I have a tactics suggestion."
"I'm listening." Tony nodded.
"We keep it busy it and take it out first with our firepower." Dustine noted. "However, we've got three other adversaries nearby that might take us out so keep that in mind. They're specialized as well and more powerful than the 55C."
"Okay. So plan B then. However we leave when I say we leave." Tony ordered.
"Right." Dustine nodded.
"Sabers were going take out this Iron Mongler Boomer thing..." War Frame then glanced at the other boomers. "These guys are very specialized. So be careful. The big bruiser has some sonic weaponry too. Where's your heavy hitter?"
"Not here...we'll have to make do." Saber Prime noted.
"C'mon are you just gonna talk or what" The red hyper boomer growled.
"Staaaaark!" The red Iron Mongler boomer growled as he charged at the group.
"Scatter!" Tony bellowed and the armored heroes lept into the sky to fight the hyper boomers.
Bubblegum Crisis: Burstfire.
Chapter 2
June 27th 2033AD 8:53 AM Ladys 633 building.
An armored SUV pulled up to a 40 story building made of steel and glass. On one of the upper decks a the sign, Stingray Solutions, was in deep red print. Dustine McCormick and her body guards got out, smoothly striding up to the building. Natsuki and two plain clothed guards trailed behind her until they reached the entrance.
"We'll have to wait out here. But if you hit the panic button, we'll force our way in." Natsuki noted
"I don't think there will be trouble in there..." Dustine shrugged. "But if a van full of boomers do arrive I'll hit the button."
"Got it. Don't start anything, too." Natsuki reminded her.
"Yes, Nat-chan..." Dustine quipped.
"Don't call me that..." Natsuki sighed.
Dustine chuckled as she walked into the building. As she crossed the threshold she glanced about the interior. It was a moderate sized semi open air lobby with two stairs going up to the second and third floor at the back. The walls around her were painted slate grey. There were hall ways going to the right or left and a receptionist desk close by. The receptionist, a short girl with dark hair, was taking a phone call and paying no mind to the woman leaning against the desk. Dustine noticed that there was a woman wearing a dark red leather jacket over a shirt and dark slacks and matching boots.
'That must be Dr Stingray's bodyguard.' Dustine thought and walked over. The brown haired woman noticed that she was walking over and turned to her.
"Hey." The brown haired woman nodded. "Dustine McCormick, right?"
"Yeah thats me..." Dustine nodded.
"Nice to meet'cha, I'm Priss Asagiri." The brown haired woman nodded, then jabbed a thumb towards one of the hallways. "Let's head up stairs, Sylia's waiting..."
"Alright." Dustine nodded and followed her down the hallway to a set of elevators. They wordlessly boarded the elevator on the right and rode it all the way to the second to the last floor.
The pair wordlessly got off the elevator and walked through a half dozen metal detectors and at least two guard kiosks.
"There are a LOT of security checkpoints," Dustine noted as they walked down the hall.
"Well, certain people do NOT like Sylia..." PPriss observed.
"Genom?" Dustine guessed
"Among others. Hydra too."
"Yeah they're still a pain..." Dustine noted.
They walked on until they reached a small lobby and a receptionist sitting at her desk. The receptionist looked up from her book and grinned. "Oh good morning."
"Good Morning Mae." Priss nodded. "Miss McCormick is here to see, Sylia."
"I see." The receptionist nodded and dialed a number. "Hello, Miss Stingray? Miss Ageni is here for her meeting.
"Come in," Sylia called.
Priss opened the door for Dustine and waved her in. "After you."
"Thank you," Dustine went in, knowing Priss could just shoot her in the back.
"Take a seat," Sylia waved her to a chair.
"Thanks Proffesor Stingray," Dustine smiled at the dark blue haired woman.
"PLEASE no 'Professor.' It reminds me of Dad." Sylia grinned
"Fair enough." Dustine grinned.
Sylia poured her a cup of tea and passed it over as Priss sat off to the side, facing Dustine.
"So what Stark Enterprises do for you, Miss Stingray?" Dustine asked.
"Well as I explained to your salespeople I'm very interested in some of your security technology." Sylia noted.
"Armor?" Dustine guessed
"Yes. I'd like to license some of your designs..." Sylia nodded.
"Certainly," Dustine grinned and opened her briefcase to produce several folders on their armor selection. She spread them out before the dark haired business woman and scientist, and, with a smile, leaned over the desk and gestured to them. "We have a wide selection of armor. Everything from light-weave armored jackets, heavy body armor to our advanced CVR-3 and ride armor system."
"Hmm..." Sylia picked up the folder for the Cyclone armor.
Priss peered over her shoulder then blinked when she saw the cyclones cycle form.
"Oooh, I likey," Priss noted
"I thought you might.." Sylia drawled then glanced up at Dustine. "...I hear they have a better success rate against GENOMs Boomers."
"Indeed...but GENOMs always pushing the boundries with those things." Dustine scowled.
"Ain't that the truth." Priss nodded.
"Mmm." Sylia frowned then nodded. "Alright this will be doable. I'd like to license out the use of the Battler, Blowspear and Bartley designs please."
"Right." Dustine nodded and handed her three forms. "I want you to look over these carefully and then sign when you're ready. You will be able to manufacture these if need be, for security uses only, or we can supply your building with a shipment very soon. Your also going to need the CVR-3 and the CVR-3F for it. You can ride the bike without the armor...but as a warning I wouldn't try transforming without the gauntlets or the chest armor."
"This is doable. Yes." Sylia nodded then looked at her. "I do have a request that's separate from this offer."
"Yes?" Dustine blinked.
"I'm working on a project and I'd like to improve our flight capabilities." Sylia replied. "You see, its for a private collection of armor that has great mobility but limited flying capacity."
"How so?"
"Repulsor technology?" Sylia noted.
"I can provide the designs for the Mark IV flight system," Dustine nodded then cautioned the two of them. "It won't be cheap. I also want to know what you'll use it for. Exactly what you'll be using it for."
"Fighting boomers of course." Sylia nodded. She called up a holographic image of a exo suit. "This is our baseline unit."
Dustine blinked then frowned when she recognized the unit. She's seen blurry images from the news but also intel from SHIELD that this was a hardsuit that the Knight Sabers used.
"Your supporting the Knight Sabers." Dustine asked.
"Yes." Sylia nodded.
"Why do you need the repulsors? Don't you're units fly?"
"For a short time yes...but for longer distances we need to use vehicles or a magnetic catapult system to deploy the girls in short order." Sylia noted.
"I see. Do you have any data on these suits?" Dustine asked.
Sylia nodded and produced at flash drive. "I take it you can be confidential about this work."
"Its not like I'll blab that info to GENOM Corpsec." Dustine snorted then sighed. "I am in contact with SHIELD due to our line of work."
"I see." Sylia nodded then sighed. "Please be careful with this information."
"I will," Dustine pocketed it.
"Now that's settled. I look forward working with you..." Sylia grinned
"Hold on there... it's not just my decision," Dustine cautioned. "Besides, you've done some iffy merc jobs."
Sylia pouted, "Not all of us are wealthy, you know..."
"I sympathize. But I still have run it by my bosses." Dustine said
"Very well..." Sylia nodded then checked her watch. "Well I'm sure both of us have meetings to attend. Thank you for this meeting. Have a good day. Priss, see her out."
"Right." Priss nodded as Dustine got up and walked with the brown haired woman.
Later...
Dusitne sat in her office with Tony Stark, Maria Hill, Pepper Potts on a flat-sceen and her sister gazing thoughtfully at her. "...and that's what she's asking for. She's not asking for full suits just repulsor tech for her suits."
"That at least confirms some suspicions we've had about that little organization." Maria noted.
"I'm worried what they would do with that tech." Pepper frowned.
"I'm...not." Tony shrugged. "Sure I'm a little reserved on the idea but...I knew Sylia's father. Heck we even shared notes exo-suit technology. I guess he copied a few things and put it into the hardsuit designs. Speaking of which McCormick, we need to go over these plans later."
"If we agree to it." Pepper frowned.
"Pepper..."
"Tony we don't know what her motive is." Pepper frowned.
"Taking out boomers of course." Dustine sighed.
"...and they've done some shady deals in the past. Helping GENOM doesn't really do them favors." Maria noted.
"Also why does Sylia need two sets of armor." Erika frowned.
"I've got a feeling she doesn't want a whole army of hardsuits..." Dustine shrugged.
Maria nodded thoughtfully. "...and she doesn't want to implicate Stingray Solutions in their merc work, more or less."
"Plus she has been targeted...I understand Task Master nearly nailed her." Tony noted.
"It took a full security team getting involved before Tasky escaped," Dustine noted then quickly added. "Or so I heard."
"Don't do that you were there helping her deal with Task Master." Erica rolled her eyes.
"It wasn't my most shining moment...I hadn't known Task Master had replica Iron Man gear." Dustine admitted. "How does Task Master do that?"
"Money. Plus former Red Room contacts..." Hill offered.
Dustine shivered. The Red Room. Even mentioning it gave her the creeps.
"Anyway, should we help Stingray...?" Tony asked.
"Before we say yes...why does she even need it...her units are mobile after all." Pepper noted.
"For short distances yes...they need transport via truck, bike or some sort of mag-lev cannon device." Dustine shrugged.
"I've also studied footage of the system," Tony added, "it's kind of unstable. A unlucky shot and...boom."
"Aye..." Dustine nodded.
"So I know this might be crazy but I'm all for helping stingray out...we're not giving them the full deal right?"
"No, we're not giving them weapons load outs other than the repulsors themselves."
"They're going to need a arc reactor..." Pepper noted.
"We're aware..." Tony and Dustine noted. "We'll tell her who's model to buy..."
"Just not the Hammer-tech one."
"Yeh that has a half life of ...what less than yours, Tony." Dustine frowned.
"Yep...full of fail too." Tony nodded. "...as the kids say."
"Pfft." Dustine snorted.
"Stop trying to be hip, you two..." Hill sighed.
"I'll give Sylia a call to do a follow up." Dustine nodded then glanced at Tony's hologram as she held up the flash drive. "Shall we see what she gave us, Proffesor?"
oOo oOo oOo oOo oOo
3PM Mahora academy, Mega Tokyo.
Gwen Stacy walked into the headmasters office and bows to his receptionist who was sitting at a small desk. "Hey, I'm here for an appointment with the headmaster."
"Name dear..." The blonde smiled.
"Gwen Stacy..." Gwen nodded and popped a bubble.
"Lets see..." The blonde looked at the schedule and nodded. "Yep your right on time. Go right on in. He's waiting for you."
"Thanks."
"Spit out the gum though." The blonde smiled contritely
"Right right..." Gwen nodded and spat out her gum and walked into the spacious office of headmaster of Mahora Academy.
"Miss Stacy, welcome. How are you settling in?"
"Well the last few weeks have been fine I guess..." Gwen sighed as she sat down in front of Takahata. "Last night was very unsettling."
"I'm sure it was." Takahata nodded.
mma Frost, the Head of Faculty, smiled gently, "No one enjoys a attempted kidnapping. I'm just glad you're allright."
"Thank you ma'am." Gwen nodded.
"Were you injured in the attack dear?" Jean Grey her assistant asked.
"No. Just rattled from the whole experience...I'm glad that Iron Lady came and helped us though." Gwen sighed.
"Warframe," Takahashi corrected.
"War Frame right," Gwen nodded then asked. "What happened with me?"
"As you know, we had a doctor examin you when you arrived..." he said
"Yes?"
"You've been genetically tampered with."
"No duh," Gwen said wryly.
"On the plus side, it appears stable. So hopefully you won't endure any mutations." Emma shruged.
"Oh...kay?" Gwen looked a little afraid. Emma then showed a picture of a woman with four extra arms. "Aaaa."
"This, unfortunately, happened to a girl who was also modified." Emma noted then sighed. "She's recovering in our Kyoto annex and will be returning soon."
"Emma stop scaring her." Takahata sighed.
"Sorry." Emma shrugged.
"What we'd like to do next is test the limits of your abilities first. Then, look into a training program," Jean said kindly
"O-okay...what for though?"
"Those fiends at Kisaragi might kidnap you again. We think a self defense training plan is in order." Emma nodded.
"That might make sense." Gwen nodded.
"Good. We'll start tommorrow at around this time after classes." Jen nodded.
"Where?" Gwen asked.
"The old technology gym. We have our training room there."
"Okay. See you then." Gwen nodded, smiled and trotted off.
Takahata looked at the women, "What do you think?"
"She's very steady, actually," Jean mused
"But a little nervous..." Emma nodded. "But yes I think she'll do fine."
"Alright. Should I alert Maria Hill that her training has begun." Takahata asked.
"Not until we see she has potential..." Emma nodded then frowned. "...she'll be labeled as a meta-human by the accords no doubt."
"Afraid so."Takahata sighed.
Meanwhile...
Dustine stood in her lab, gazing thoughtfully at the image of Saber Blue's hardsuit in the holotank. This was the slightly upgraded version with a heavy knuckle-bomber plate, blaster, boot jets and three railgun ports.
Tony peered at it thoughtfully until he spoke up.
"I STILL don't get the railguns. Why not a beam weapon?" Tony complained as he gazed at the unit.
"Less power use?" Dustine guessed "Also Kinetic energy. These rail needles can punch through tough boomer armor."
"Hmm. Point," Tony conceded. "I like this gauntlet than the first one. Just looks like a cannon with fingers."
"We'll probably have to give her a second gauntlet, swap out the blaster for a repulsor and do the same for the other gauntlet.
"We could pull a 'War Machine' and mount the railgun on her shoulder." Tony suggested
"Hm. We could." Dustine nodded then eyed the hip jets and mused thoughtfully. "I don't see any reason to remove those. Might help with maneuverability."
"Where is their primary thruster by the way?" Tony asked.
Dustine flipped the image around to show the back showing off the back thruster. "I think they're different for each. This is for Saber blue."
She then called up Saber greens and saber pinks suits and finally saber primes. "...and these are the rest of them. Saber prime has wing thrusters too."
"There's a surprising lack of armor there..." Tony noted
"Yup. One lucky missile and... BOOM." Dustine admitted.
"Yeh." Tony's visage nodded then hummed. "We could replace these back jets with a small repulsor and some armored plates to direct the jets for most of the suits. Meanwhile I'd add more armor on the lumbar region"
"We could. Yeah." Dustine nodded.
"Can I see the specs for their Electronic Interference suit?" Tony asked.
"Yep." Dustine nodded and called up the smaller suit and showed the back unit. "Same deal though her backpack mostly consists of Interference equipment and hacking."
"Could probably do the same with the other units." The dark haired man nodded. "As for the Arc reactor...probably put one in the chest area like I did for Rescue."
"Mmmmm. Yeah I could see that," Dustine nodded, then smiled. "I'll see what Miss Stingray says about our suggestions. I'll give her a call to set up a follow up meeting to go over the details."
"Sounds good." Tony nodded and fiddled with the specs a bit.
"So how are the hearings with the diet and the world council going, yknow, in regards to the bank incident that happened before the beam attacks?" Dustine asked as he fiddled with the schematics of Priss's suit.
"I've nearly got War Frame cleared of the attacks on the GENOM factory," Tony noted. "Same for the bank attack. All you need to do is lay low for a bit or contact Hill before you go out."
"Right right." Dustine nodded then mentioned. "Rumor has it around the board that you're planning an extended stay here, boss. What's up?"
"Rumor has it around the board that you're planning an extended stay here, boss. What's up?" Dustine asked him.
"Truth be told, I've been investigating our friends at Kisaragi," Tony sighed. "Like Hill reported, they've been involved in multiple abductions and upon their return the victims have been heavily modified."
"They're also employing costumed mercenaries/Deadpool and Taskmaster." Dustine noted
"Yeah. Thats worrying." Tony made a face then frowned. "What's bothering me is that their's a possible connection with HYDRA."
"They've been known to tinker with people too." Dustine made a face.
"Winter Soldier," Tony nodded grimly.
"I heard you met him in 2021." Dustine frowned.
"Yep. Guy tried to kill me and Rogers wanted to defend him." Tony noted then sighed. "We, along with our allied teams, fought in an airport, in the alps and then we disbanded after that. Rogers and the others were sent to the Raft and are working off their time on Ross's orders as the Thunderbolts. Much to Rogers chagrin."
"Still a team then?" Dustine blinked.
"More or less." Tony nodded. "I'm keeping tabs on them."
"Hmm." Dustine nodded.
"I am STILL trying to get Wakanda to surrender Barnes..." Tony muttered
"You've got to let that go eventually," Dustine noted
"Speaking about teams, I'm reforming the Avengers here with the World Security Councils approval." Tony noted changing the subject. "The new base is complete and staff are already flying in from the old compound."
'Aha. Thats the real real reason then.' Dustine thought.
"A team huh." Dustine noted then hummed as she called up a list on a separate terminal. "So your looking for members? I know of some talent here."
"Hmmm. Already have a few in mind. War Machine. Doctor Weird. Mockingbird. You, hearing pending of course." Tony said as he casually brought up the list on a monitor and started to peruse it.
"O-Of course," Dustine nodded, surprised. "What about Parker."
"Parker will be a part of our science team...but he's retired from active duty." Tony noted.
"I see." Dustine nodded.
"Hm." He flipped through a few profiles making a few noncommittal noises then stopped at a few. "Huh. Honey Kisaragi."
"Probably not related to the Kisaragi's that we're dealing with." Dustine sighed.
"Wanna bet?" Tony snorted then hmmed. "Huh. Her father, Dr. Ksaragi, was killed by Panther Claw, great group by the way, and now she wants revenge against them. She's an android too."
"So if he was a part of the Kisaragi organization I guess this means that there are a couple of geniuses in that group." Dustine noted.
"Yep." Tony nodded then changed the subject. "Speaking of scientists, do you mind if I join you on that meeting with Miss Stingray. I was somewhat close with her father and..."
"Thinking of asking Stingray too?" Dustine arched eyebrow.
"Hmm. Dunno. Might be best to have a few very localized teams to deal with trouble when it comes knocking." Tony noted and perused the list some more then made a few interested noises. "So. Can I?"
'So thats why he wants to upgrade Sylia's units.' Dustine realized.
"I don't see why not..." Dustine shrugged. "Just try nothing flashy okay."
"Don't worry I won't." Tony nodded.
oOo oOo oOo oOo oOo
Later at Kisaragi Headquarters.
"Well what do you think?" Black Lilith grinned as she stepped back to take in her handiwork. Agent 19 had a new cyber arm. It was armor plated and had semi noticable myomar fibers around its elbow and shoulder joints.
Alex Morrow, aka Agent 19, flexed his fingers "Not bad. Little to no lag here."
"Good. Good. Now make a claw with your hands." Lilith grinned.
Alex blinked, did so then was suprised to see a few razor claws pop out of his fingertips. "Ah!"
"Those are laser claws. They can tear nicely through fabric, armor and even webbing." Lilith grinned.
The dark haired man whistled. "Not bad."
"Yes. I'm thinking of upgrading your other hand to do the same." Lilith grinned then nodded. "Now make a fist and clench it, 19."
Alex Did so then grunt and grinned when a rapier blade popped out of a sheath in his forearm. "Heh."
"That's a rapier blade," Lilith grinned. "It's retractable and made of Vibranium. That should help you with certain armored fighters. I've already fitted your other arm with the same blade."
"Heh. I'm sure War Frame will be surprised at this." Alex grinned.
"Just remember that she probably could have other contingencies." Lilith reminded him.
"I'm sure Warframe does." Alex said grimly.
Moments later, the automatic sliding door swished open and Belial walked into the lab. Belial took in the scene for a moment then grinned. "So is Alex nearly ready?
"Ready as he'll ever be, for now." Lilith smirked.
"For now?" Belial blinked.
"She hasn't upgraded this hand yet." Alex held up the other hand.
"Well, we'll have to make do I guess." Belial frowned then grinned. "Okay listen up, Agent 19. We've found your target. She's back at Mahora. Track her down and bring her back here so Lilith can finish the job."
"Gotcha..."
"Oh and you'll be working with Agent 18," Belial smiled and turned to the door. "You can come in now, 18."
Alex blinked as a woman with short black hair stepped in.
"Excuse me," The black haired woman, dressed Kisaragi buisness suit, announced as she entered the room. Alex noted that she too had prosthetic arms. She regarded Alex for a moment then hummed. "I take it this is my new partner?"
"Yep. Alex. Meet Anya. Anya meet Alex." Belial grinned.
"I've heard much about your exploits agent 19," Anya grinned. "Taking out that heavily armed vigilante group in Mexico was no small feet."
"...and you've been causing problems in Lithuania, Poland and Estonia," Alex grinned.
"One tries one's best," she smiled. "We'll need a stealth transport to break intio Mahora... do we have plans for the complex?"
"Here is a map of the complex," Belial showed them a map of Mahora Academy. "Its quite big."
"Damn..." Alex muttered.
"Da..." Anya nodded.
"I'd be cautious after entering...I've heard rumors of very advanced technology there." Dark Lilith noted.
"And superhumans," Alex mused
"The 'X-Men' are just a rumor," Anya said
"If they are don't engage..." Belial shook her head. "You guys might be the best but those people are far better than you."
"Understood," Alex agreed.
"Now go and report in when your on the ground..."
"Yes ma'am!" both saluted and headed out
Dark Lilith watched them go and snorted. "You should have let me work on his other hand."
Belial sighed and lit a cigarette with a flame. "No time. Mama and papa want results."
"... do you think those rumors about Mahora are true?" Dark Lilith asked as Belial dragged on her cigarette.
"Dunno. But even if the mission fails, we'll get more intelligence." Belial said as she blew out some smoke.
"Yes."
The next day
Mahora Academy The Old technology gym.
Gwen showed a security officer her ID and said. "Ah Miss Frost sent me."
The short, stocky man nodded.
"Hope you survive," Logan noted
"What."
"Go on in..." Logan gestured to the door.
"Ah thanks." Gwen nodded and walked down two flights of stairs until she came to a simple door. She pushed the door open into a large room the size of a gymnasium. Several humans were testing out their abilities against simple automatons or each other.
There was one boy in particluar who was using his telekinetic abilites against another opponent. Another was testing out her electomagnetic abilities to propel coins at a target.
"Wow..." Gwen blinked and watched them only to have someone bamf right in front of her. "EEEP!"
"Welcome, frauline!" the blue skinned, furry man beamed
"Uh, hello," Gwen blinked
"I am Kurt Wagner, sometimes called Nightcrawler," he bowed
"Gwen Stacy." Gwen nodded taking in the blue skinned furry man.
"My understanding is you have spider-like powers, ja?" Kurt asked
"Agility, speed, wall clinging?" he confirmed.
"Yeeeees?"
"Tag! You're it!" he bounded off
"Hey!" Gwen jumped then bounded off after him.
"Holy shit," Ken Yamada muttered as they leaped and bounded around the facility while he levitated two baking sheets above his hands.
"Think fast Yamada." Mitoko Misaka said as she tossed some lightning his way.
"Awk." Ken Yamada yelped as he dropped the other sheets and then grabbed up a plexiglass shield to block the attack. The lightning washed over the the shield but didn't shock the poor man.
"No fair." Mitoko sighed. "Good reflexes though."
"Thanks." Ken panted.
Meanwhile, Gwen continues to bound and chase after Kurt. She lept and bound after him until she finally was in reach. She reached out with her fingers and grinned when she grasped his heel of his boot.
"Ha!" She exclaimed as she grabbed it
Kurt grinned then poofed away in a cloud of smoke.
BAMF!
"HEY!" Gwen yelped then awked as she found herself hurtling towards a woodden horse. She acked and balled up to soften the blow. She yelped out after she slammed into it "Owww."
"Sorry Fraulein!" Kurt grinned sheepishly as he sat atop a long trapeze bar.
"S'okay..." Gwen pant panted a bit as she tried to get her wind back.
"Shall we continue..?" Kurt aske as he smiled down at her.
"What do you think?" Jean asked Kurt
"She's not bad actually." Kurt nodded then hummed. "But her endurance is an issue. However, with some training she could catch me, assuming I don't cheat."
Jean chuckled and punch his arm "Just don't bamf every time okay...How does she rate vs Spider-man?"
"Might actually be faster, once she's trained.." Kurt shrugged.
"Don't tell Parker that..." Jean shook her head.
"Who knows maybe that'll get him back in the action of things." Kurt shrugged.
"Maybe. He hasn't been the same since Rhino broke him." Jean shook her head.
"True." Kurt nodded.
To be continued...
