Chapter 7 "Extinct Bloodline"
Tazuna's Home, Late Evening
Team 7 was resting in the guest room of Tazuna's house. Naruto had already reached there in the evening.
"Hey Haku, you know that your clothes are quite deceiving." Sakura said
"How so?" Haku asked
"Well, you appear more like a girl than a boy." Sakura answered
"Really? Naruto-niichan never told me about it."
"Boy, you have just met you new onii-chan this afternoon, how will he tell you something like this?" Sakura thought
"Oh, about that, when we reach home, we will do something about that." Naruto said with a smile
"Hey, since we are free tomorrow as the bridge building will resume from the day after tomorrow, why don't we do some training" Kakashi asked.
"That's a great idea. Can Haku come along with us?" Naruto replied
"If he wants to then he can." Kakashi said
"So, I will be training with big brother!" Haku said with a smile.
"Dinner is ready!" Tazuna's daughter said. Her name was Tsunami. She had long blue-coloured hair. She was wearing a short-sleeved pink shirt with the end of the sleeves and the collar being red in colour. She was also wearing a long blue skirt.
"We are coming" Kakashi said. Then they went to the dining room where Tazuna was already sitting. Team 7 also sat of the chairs as Tsunami started to serve food.
"Do you need a special invitation, Inari?" Tsunami yelled. After half a minute, a kid boy showed up. He stared at the guests for a second and then sat on the chair next to his Grandfather Tazuna.
"Who are they?" Inari asked with a cocky attitude
"They are ninjas who came here to protect us." Tsunami said.
"Huh, it doesn't matter, Gatou will kill them all just like he killed Kaiza." Inari replied
"What did you say, Brat?" Naruto asked angrily
"I said that Gatou will kill all of you" Inari replied
"And what about that 'Kaiza'..." Sasuke asked but before he could complete his sentence Inari ran off the room in tears.
"Please, ignore him." Tsunami said before she went after Inari.
"What's wrong with that kid anyway?" Naruto said. Then they all finished their food and went off to their room.
Next Day
Team 7 and Haku was standing in the middle of a forest.
"Okay, so first I will teach you how to control your chakra" Kakashi said.
"Do I and Sasuke really need to do that? I mean we already have a decent chakra control. And I thought that you will be teaching us some new Jutsu." Naruto asked.
"It will not harm you. I already know that you can walk on water from tomorrow's battle but you should not forget that you are in a team. And you already know more than enough jutsu." Kakashi said.
"Okay, what do we have to do?" Naruto asked.
"First you have to learn to climb a tree without using hands." Kakashi said then he walked on a tree defying gravity, and after few seconds he was standing upside down on a tree branch.
"To do this you have to focus and Balance chakra in your feet and then try to walk on the tree." Kakashi said. Naruto and Sasuke then appeared beside him standing upside down on the same branch as Kakashi. While Sakura was just watching them doing impossible things.
"What next?" Naruto and Sasuke asked in unison.
Kakashi sighed "Okay, you can go."
"What about us?" Sakura asked while looking at Haku
"Well, you have to keep trying until you do the same." Kakashi said "Don't worry, I will be watching over you."
Naruto and Sasuke then disappeared in a Poof of smoke.
"Now, this only leaves you two, Sakura and Haku. You should try to catch up with these two or you will just hold back the strength of the team."
"Okay, so how do I control the chakra?" Sakura asked.
"First focus your chakra in your feet then try to walk of the tree." Kakashi said
Sakura then tried to walk on the tree but after walking a few steps she repelled the tree and fell on the ground. Haku also tried to walk of the tree and he climbed higher than Sakura but he also fell off.
"You have to balance your chakra. If you use less chakra, you will fall off and if you use extra chakra your feet will sink into the tree and you won't be able to move at all." Kakashi said and then he threw two Kunai each in front of Sakura and Haku. "Use this kunai to mark the highest point you can climb and then try to surpass it next time."
"Okay" Sakura took the kunai and tried to climb the tree again.
With Naruto and Sasuke
"Hey I was thinking that since Haku will be living with me, and he also has a Kekkei Genkai, I should train him personally so that he can also become a good ninja." Naruto said
"So, what are you thinking to do with him?" Sasuke asked
"His clan must have a few secret jutsu, so was thinking to find the scrolls of his Clan to train him. But for that I will have to travel to Hidden Mist." Naruto said
"And how are you planning to do that?" Sasuke asked
"Since Kakashi sensei will not let me go to Hidden Mist, I will have to do it secretly." Naruto said.
"Well, I don't know any Jutsu which allows you to be at 2 different places at the same time. Sure, Shadow Clone Jutsu is an option but you cannot hold them for this long and beside they are too much fragile." Sasuke said
"There is a Jutsu for this work." Naruto said. Then he bit his thumb and made a seal on his other palm with his Blood and then he made a hand seal.
"Ninja Art: Blood Clone Jutsu" Naruto said and a clone of Naruto appeared beside him in a poof of red smoke.
"What is this jutsu?" Sasuke asked.
"This is the blood clone jutsu. It has One third of my chakra and I can only make one at a time. Unlike other clone jutsu, this has some good advantages like I can share vision with my clone and also any information received by my clone gets transferred to me at the very instant. And it is not fragile like shadow clones. And it will not pop up until I dispel it. And it can do any jutsu that I can." Naruto stated.
"That is pretty good, but I haven't seen anyone using this jutsu in our village." Sasuke said.
"It is because it is more secret than any forbidden jutsu. Only elite Anbu and the Hokage know about this jutsu." Naruto said.
"Okay, but don't you think that one third chakra is a bit less." Sasuke said
"Oh, my chakra reserves are quite large and currently it is 10 times more than kakashi sensei. So one third of my chakra is still more sensei's." Naruto said
"Now you know what you have to do. You have to return in 5 days. And use a transformation jutsu while you are in the hidden Mist. And supress your chakra to a normal civilian. Now go." Naruto said to his clone before the clone went off.
"You sensed that?" Naruto asked.
"I am not a sensor, you know." Sasuke said
"Never mind, I sense that cocky arrogant kid behind the tree at 8 'o clock."
"What is he doing there?" Sasuke asked.
"I think he is just watching us secretly, so, what do you think of showing off a little?" Naruto asked with a grin on his face.
"Let's do it." Sasuke said. The two friends got in a fighting stance. Sasuke then weaved a hand seal and said,
"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet." Sasuke exhaled a powerful stream of fire which took the form of a dragon and attacked Naruto. Naruto quickly made a Hand seal and said
"Water release: Water Dragon Bullet Jutsu" Naruto also spit out a stream of water which formed a dragon and clashed with Sasuke's fire dragon. The clash resulted in the cloud of steam. When the steam disappeared, Naruto was already forming a chain of hand seals.
"Ninja Art: Hidden Mist Jutsu" A thick mist covered the forest.
"Are you sure you don't have a sharingan, because you just copied a Jutsu of that rogue ninja. And also, you just saw that once." Sasuke asked while holding a Kunai
"No, I don't have a sharingan, I just memorised his hand seal and used the Wind release to do it." Naruto said before attacking Sasuke with his sword. But Sasuke blocked the attack with his kunai.
"You are doing the same mistake as Zabuza did while fighting me, not coating you weapons with chakra and I will advise to coat you weapons with a particular chakra nature. And you should use the Lightning style to coat as it has better piercing abilities." Naruto said.
"I will keep that in mind next time." Sasuke said and then he made a hand seal
"Fire Release: Great Fireball jutsu" Sasuke exhaled a big ball of fire which cleared the mist around him.
"Good But not good enough!" Naruto said as he was standing behind Sasuke with a kunai in front of Sasuke's neck. Sasuke then noticed that his body was covered with cuts, and blood was flowing out of them.
"I think this is enough for today." Naruto said and dropped his kunai. Then he started to heal Sasuke's wounds.
"You don't have to be so reckless." Naruto said
"I know." Sasuke said
"Hey, have you ever tried to mix two chakra natures?" Naruto asked
"No, I haven't, but I wonder what will happen if I mix fire release with lightning release." Sasuke said as Naruto completely healed him.
"Then let's try to use it"
"Let me first try to mix the earth release and Water release." Naruto said and then he closed his eyes and focused his chakra in his hands. And as he focused his chakra small plank of wood started to emerge from his hands.
"HOLY SHIT! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE? THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A KEKKEI GENKAI OF LORD FIRST." Sasuke exclaimed. Naruto then opened his eyes and was equally shocked to see the wood in his hand.
"How is it possible, my father was the Namikaze and my mother was the Uzumaki, then how can I possess this ability?"
"What should we do?"
"First, we should erase the memories of our little spy." Naruto said as they appeared behind Inari who was watching them all the time.
"Hey kid, what were you doing here?" Sasuke asked with an evil smile.
With Haku, Sakura and Kakashi
"Very good Haku, you have finally learnt to control your chakra." Kakashi praised Haku who was standing upside down on a tree branch.
"You are also doing well, Sakura." Kakashi said to Sakura who has managed to climb the tree just as high as Haku.
"Hey Kakashi sensei, we want to talk to you about something important." Sasuke said as he and Naruto were coming from the forest with Naruto carrying Inari on his shoulders.
