FINDING THE MISSING PUZZLE PIECES
Casey hears a loud knock at her door, Casey smiles but her smile fades when she sees that its Noel.
Noel:( barges in): I heard that you were back home.
Casey: ( rolls her eyes)
Noel: can we talk now, please.
Casey: sure, we can talk. I wanna many lies fly out of your mouth.
Noel: what?!
Casey: Lizzie told me that we broke up and that you were being weird.
Noel: is she talking about the night that I was banging at your door?
Casey: yep ( casey crosses her arms.)
Noel: that night looks bad from a different perspective and I know I was a jerk to accuse you of sleeping with your step brother after you broke up with me. I was just upset because we broke up and I missed you so I was stupid but what Lizzie heard wasn't what she heard.
Casey: how.I'm I supposed to believe you when you lied!
Noel: I lied because that was the only way to see you!
Casey: you could've said I was your friend!
Noel: I know and I was wrong and stupid. Its just you were avoiding me and not talking to me and I needed answers, then Derek told me what was happening and to watch out. So I did, I heard these girls were planning on putting something in your dorm room. I was banging on your door because when I knocked you said go away, I heard you crying so I busted in ( Noel laughs) you were so angry and yelling, that's when Derek came in and he was yelling. Once I explained what I heard to you guys, you guys calmed down. You sat on the bed crying and when I opened your desk for a tissue...
Casey: what?
Noel: there was a snake and you didn't tell Liaise any of this because she was stressed over school, her environmental club and other stuff, you didn't want to add to her stress...maybe apart of you was embarrassed, scared and angry... Mostly at me and now its happening all over again.
Casey: I was mad, I'm not anymore.
Noel: good. Maybe now I can start making it up to you.
Casey: (smiles) maybe I'll let you.
Noel: I miss the way you use to look at me.
Casey: thank you for looking out for me.
Noel: I wouldn't let anyone hurt you.
Casey and Noel are about to kiss when Derek and Sally walk in.
Derek: hey! Case! ( smiles)
Casey: Derek! ( without realizing it, she jumps in his arms and hugs him tightly.)
Sally: ( smiles happily and whispers in his ear) told you ( she smiles and Derek rolls his eyes)
Derek: you really did miss me, didn't you.
Casey realizes that she's this close to Derek and she backs away, Derek just smirks at her and she has to look away, sally smirks.
Sally: ( hugs Casey): I'm so happy that your starting to remember now! ( she says excitedly)
Derek: it feels good to be back home
Casey: I have so much PTSD walking down these halls of my dorm.
Derek: (looks to sally) we handled that problem, I guess you don't remember. I laid on some of my Derek charm to figure out what was going on
Sally and casey rolled their eyes
Derek: they told me that they didn't like you because your roommate was spreading awful lies about you. Your roommate was trying to turn everyone on your floor against you. So they could get away with what they did to you. For the most part it worked, I told them that you didn't call the police parties and you didn't snitch on them for cheating and breaking the rules. Once I said that they felt really bad and they told me what they saw those nights.
Casey: what did they say?!
Sally: yes, don't keep us in suspense. ( she looks at Casey) he loves doing that.
Casey just smiles
Derek: they said that they saw Gwen, her boyfriend and...( looks at Casey) her family, they weren't too happy about you getting their daughter kicked out of school and having to pay to keep her in school, having to pay for classes and basically everything. Gwen didn't do anything... She just opened the door to door and any other door that the family needed access to...like the pool. Apparently, it was the boyfriend who tied your leg up. The family was just trying to scare you into taking back what you said about their daughter.
Casey: but I didn't say anything!
Derek: I interrogated Gwen I what she knew, her involvement in this. She said " I just opened the door! I hated Casey but I wasn't trying to hurt Casey." I told her that she was already hurting you with the pranks, what even though she wasn't the one who was doing them her family was and she knew about it! She said " Casey wasn't supposed to get hurt, she was supposed to wake up and freak out, we just wanted her to embarrass herself... It was just pay back for what she did to me" that's when Lizzie stepped in...Lizzie called her a liar and punched her in the face. Lizzie said that she knew exactly what she was doing and that she was going to make her pay.
Casey: what was she lying about?
Derek: doing some more investigating, well Lizzie's investigating..she found out that her parents were mad but they weren't involved, they told her to handle it and she enlisted the girls on your dorm floor to help with her plan. When I told them that she was lying, they freaked out and me.
Sally: so your charms failed ( fake shocked)
Casey laughs and Derek rolls his eyes
Derek: anyway! One thing she didn't lie about was that it was her boyfriend who tied Casey's foot. Everyone else is locked up and facing trial, the boyfriend on the other hand disappeared.
Noel: he would run away, that coward!
Derek: I felt the same way and I did some further digging, police found him dead in a hotel pool. How is that for irony ( he smiles at casey.)
Sally: I don't even feel bad.
Derek: oh! Another thing I found out was that , the way that Gwen had those keys to everything was because she seduced some knew too but all he cared about was sleeping with Gwen. He had no idea his keys were missing, all he remembered was Gwen walking in and jumping him. In fact, every time they would pull a "prank" she would visit him.
Noel: he didn't know, so why did the police take him away and they were questioning him and then they let him go!
Derek: because he didn't do anything
Noel: there is no proof of that!
Derek: I have the video tapes that I all over the school, even spots ( he says smugly.)Anyway, he was found dead but whoever killed him was really sloppy ( he looks at Noel and smiles) right?
Noel: ( shrugs nervously without making eye contact) 't know man.
Casey: so, ? ( smiles) its really over? ( she says excitedly)
Derek: yeah. ( smiles)
Sally: lets party!
Casey: yeah. We should ( she smiles)
Sally: what frat party should we crash tonight.
Casey: not really into crashing frat parties
Sally: you have before ( she smiles)
Noel: what!
Derek: ssh!
Sally: oh! Sor-rey.
Casey: no! I wanna know what your talking about too! What is she talking about?
Derek: ( exhaled sharply) fine! You got drunk for the first time at a frat party.
Casey: so
Sally: you let loose when your drunk
Derek: it phrase care free Casey, your really fun when your drunk.
Casey: I'm always fun ( she crosses her arms)
Derek: ( burst out laughing) be real case, you think too much to have fun.
Casey: that's not true!
Derek: can I tell my story? Your the one who wanted to know.
Casey: fine, continue.
Derek: it was pretty cliche actually, you got drunk, danced on the counter and ...( tried to hold in a laugh) made out with sally.
Casey: what!
Derek: that's why our entire school is shipping you two together. On top of that there's video evidence. ( busting up laughing) puzzle saw it and said " I guess I wasn't imagining things" ( continues laughing)
Casey: oh, so that was the vibe I was feeling when you walked into the room.
Sally: you felt a vibe when I walked into the room? ( she smiles excitedly)
Casey: yes ( blushes) I didn't know what it was.
Sally ( whispers in Derek's ear) wait until she finds out that I wasn't the only one she kissed that night or the last time the three of us were together ( she smiles and her eyebrows raise. Then it hit her and she ask. " do you think that she remembers that she loves you or that she has made love to you multiple times, I was there for a few ( smiles).
Derek: ( whispers back) If she did, he wouldn't be here right now.
Sally: ( whispers) right ( she grits her teeth)
Casey: what are you guys whispering about?
Derek: ( mumbles under his breath) if you knew, you would probably run away. Nothing! Lets go to a club.
Sally: the one that the three of us went to last time, so many memories there.
Casey: what happened there?
Sally: shit! Right
Derek gives her a look
Sally: we went there to help you get over Noel. We had to practically drag you out of the house to have some fun. Derek pulled you on the dance floor and we all danced, this guy spilled his beer all over you and Derek went into over protective mode
