Chloe's cheating Chapter 5
Katy's upset, Eddie just proposed to Chloe, she knows she's not the right girl for him; she's going to break his heart, why would he do this? Max looks for Katy, he knows she's upset.
He sees her standing next to Loren and Nora, he walks towards them. "Katy sweetie, are you ok?"
Loren can tell this marriage proposal bothered Katy, she sees Chloe hugging Eddie and showing off her ring, she's heart broken, Loren met Chloe under unpleasant circumstances, she can tell she's trouble, everyone sees it except Eddie, why? Nora holds Loren's shoulder; she whispers to her. "I think we should go."
Loren looks at Katy. "We're leaving, are you going to be ok?"
Katy lets out a long sigh, she smiles at Loren. "Yes, I have no choice, I'll see you in the morning."
Loren hugs them, she and Nora walk out of MK, they head to their car and drive away, Nora notices Loren's quiet, she doesn't know how to ask her what's bothering her, even though deep down she knows the answer.
"Why so quiet?"
Loren sighs. "I'm fine, why?"
"I'm sure you're upset; Katy took it very hard."
"Chloe is trouble, she's been rude to me the moment we met, why can't Eddie see she's wrong for him?"
"Maybe she's the ideal woman."
Loren sits quietly; she can't admit how she's feeling. Eddie's engaged, the thought of him marrying that witch really hurts.
Everyone left MK, Chloe left ahead of her fiancé, Eddie's getting ready to join her for dinner.
Katy won't stay quiet. "When were you going to tell us that you were going to propose to Chloe?"
"I know mom, the moment felt right, I told you and Pops things were getting more serious with Chloe."
"I don't trust her Honey, something about her rubs me the wrong way."
Eddie stops, and sighs, he avoids looking at his mom. "I'm sorry mom, give her a chance, Chloe's been through a lot, she's made a lot of changes to become a better person, why can't you give her a chance?"
"I hope you're right Eddie, for your own sake, I hope you never regret what you did here tonight."
He hugs her. "It's going to be ok, please don't worry."
She hugs him tight. "I want the best for you son."
"I know mom, I love you for that."
The week starts off great for Loren, it's Monday, she's on time, she brought the songs she's written with her to Jake's office. She takes out her lyric notebook and places it on the desk; she reviews each word. Jason walks in. "Hey beautiful."
She rolls her eyes; he makes her uncomfortable.
"I heard you're recording today." He asks.
"Yes, I'm going over the lyrics of the song."
Katy and Jake enter the office at the same time. "Let's get started.
Loren knows this is her chance to show off her other talent. They head to the recording studio.
"We want you to sing that song, then we can record it."
She steps into the booth, she places the headphones over her head, Jason signals her to begin, she grabs her guitar.

Loren's done, she looks at Katy for approval. Katy walks into the recording booth and hugs her.
"That's amazing! You have a hit." She looks Jake who signals thumbs up.
Loren can't contain her happiness, she hugs Katy. "Are you sure?"
"We will go over it a few times, then you will record it, you're on your way Loren."
"Thank you Katy."
Loren records the song, she's done for now, it's time to watch Kelly and Jake's twins.
Loren feeds them, then takes them to the park. The boys run and play, Loren sits close by and watches them play, she's proud of herself, she recorded a song she wrote, she feels very happy with that accomplishment.
She buys the boys ice cream and they walk back home. Loren takes the boys to their playroom, she reads them a book, they love how Loren brings every story to life. They clap and dance. Loren laughs, she dances with them too. They finally fall asleep, she goes down to see Kelly, she opens the door, she sees Tyler whispering to Chloe, they're very cozy with each other, what is she doing here with Tyler? Loren wonders, she sees Chloe kiss Tyler, she runs upstairs to Kelly and Jake's Condo; she's upset, Chloe's cheating on Eddie with Tyler? How could she?
She's convinced Chloe's a bad person, why would she cheat on Eddie? Who would cheat on him? He's amazing, he doesn't deserve this. How dare she? But, it's not her place to say or do anything.
Later that day, Loren's home, she sits by the window and drinks a cup of tea, she can't forget what she saw, how could Chloe do this? Nora finds Loren outside by patio. "Hey superstar, how was your day? Did you record your song?"
"That was the highlight of my day, it was so much fun to record a song I wrote, I had a great day with the boys, they're great kids."
"Why the sad face, did something happen?"
"I'm mad mom, I could cry!"
Nora's concerned. "What's wrong?"
Loren looks at her. "I saw Chloe with Tyler Roark today, they were kissing, she's cheating on Eddie."
"Did they see you?"
"No, but, I saw enough, Eddie doesn't deserve this, no wonder Katy's upset, she knows the type of person Chloe is."
"You can't fool Mothers; we know when something isn't right."
"I feel bad for him mom; he can't marry her."
"Look at me Loren, you can't get involve."
"What do I do? Katy would love to know this and tell him."
"Yes, I'm sure, but, not from you, keep this between us, things have a way of working out, it'll be painful for Eddie, he'll have to deal with it when the time is right."
Several weeks later, Loren is still upset, she can't get over the fact that Chloe is cheating on Eddie, and to make things worse every time she takes the boys to the park, when they return, she puts the stroller away, she sees Chloe and Tyler in the back part of Kelly's office, she sees and hears Chloe and Tyler hiding there, apparently that's the area where they meet, Loren sees them all the time.
Mel's with Loren the day they take the boys to the Zoo. They leave early; Loren has to be back by 2 to finish recording a set of songs.
Loren takes something out of her bag and turns towards Mel.
"Kelly gave me this chip, she wants you to record the boys, take your chip out and replace it with this one."
"She wants to see them at the zoo?" Mel wonders.
"Yes, she doesn't want to miss these moments with them."
"You should record them more often."
"I take pictures for her, I want her to see them at the zoo, she loved the idea of videotaping them."
They spend several hours at the Zoo, they enjoy lunch at the zoo; Mel records the boys having fun. They head back before 1.
"Here's the chip, make sure you give it to Kelly, I'm going to put mine back in."
When they arrive, Jason's busy with paperwork, Loren walks in looking for Kelly.
"Is Kelly busy?"
"She's in the office with Jake, they're with a client."
"Tell her I'm back, I'm going to put the boys down for a nap."
"Hey Loren, when will we have dinner?"
Loren rolls her eyes. "I don't know, I'm pretty busy."
"Too busy to eat?"
Mel interrupts. "I'll take the stroller to the back room, see you upstairs."
Loren agrees. "Thanks, Jason we'll talk later."
Loren takes the boys upstairs, Mel takes the stroller to the back area, she's playing with her video camera, she places her chip back into the camera, she hears voices coming from the back area of the storage room, she peeks and her eyes widen when she sees Chloe and Tyler kissing and giggling, Mel turns on her video camera and records the whole thing, she stays very quiet. She stops after realizing there's more going on between these two, she's recorded enough. she walks back into the building and gets into the elevator, she has to show Loren.
She finds Loren washing the boy's dishes, Mel walks in smiling from ear to ear.
"I was wondering where you were, I thought you left."
"Omg, you're not going to believe what I just saw!"
Loren smiles; she knows Mel tends to exaggerate. "What did you see?"
"I can show you."
Mel turns her video camera on. Loren's eyes widen when she realizes what Mel recorded.
"You saw them again?"
Mel furrows her eye brows. "What do you mean saw them again?"
Loren bites her lower lip. "Omg!"
"What have you seen?"
"I've seen them kissing in Jake and Kelly's office, then I've seen them for several weeks in that storage area where you videotaped them, it broke my heart, she's cheating on Eddie, how stupid is she?"
Mel's grin grows larger. "I have the whole thing on tape; wait til Eddie gets a load of his fiancé with Tyler!"
"No, my mom told me not to get involved."
"You can't keep this quiet, this is Eddie Duran we're talking about, see for yourself."
Mel turns her camera on. "Look, these two are doing it behind Eddie's back, you want to keep this quiet?"
"I don't want to hurt Eddie or his family."
"You'll hurt him more if you stay quiet, Katy has to see this, then let her decide."
Loren's reluctant, she knows this will hurt Eddie, he's sweet, sensitive and kind, he doesn't deserve this.
"I know it's going to kill him." Loren tells Mel.
Mel takes the chip out of her camera. "Give this to Katy."
Loren's confused, she remembers what her mom told her about getting involved.
"I don't know Mel."
Neither notice the door open. "Eddie has a right to know, if he's going to marry Chloe, he has to see what she's been up too!"
A voice startles them. "He has to know what?"
Both girls jump at the sound of the voice, they turn around and see.
