It has been 15 hours since Linus, and Sally both found out about the deaths of Charlie Brown, and Rerun.
They were both devastated about this.
"Linus. I am very sorry your brother died. I know it has to be very difficult for you. I plan to be at the service that the school will be hosting during 3rd period, and it will last until 6th period. So, that is 2 and half hours." Janice said, very saddened.
"It's alright. I have never in all of my 8 years of living on this earth, have I ever found out about a death. Especially our brother. Never." Linus said, who was still coping through the loss of their brother.
"I am just thinking about you, and your family who are having to go through this difficult time in your life. I plan to be at the service, Sally." Ethan said, very sad.
"I just can't believe my brother is dead. I can't cope with it." Sally said, while crying.
Then, the intercom crackled to life. "I need everybody's attention, please. I'm afraid I have some grave news to deliver."
"Is it about what happened?" Peppermint Patty said as she tried to wake up, after sleeping.
"Unfortunaly, we regret to inform all of you, that yesterday, 2 of our dear students, Charles Brown, and Rerun Van Pelt both passed away because of very serious injuries. The School will host the funeral during 3rd period. We wish the best of luck for Mr. Brown's, and Mr. Van Pelt's loved ones, and family as they try to cope during these very difficult times.
And I hope you do the same too. That is all." As Funeral bells rang throughout the school, Everybody began drawing plaques remembering Charlie Brown, and Rerun very upset.
Linus was the saddest person in the school, because he tried not to cry. But he gave in to the tears.
"I'm sorry you're devastated, Linus. But people come and go." Janice said, very sad.
Funeral bells rang for 3rd period.
As the students started walking out of class to the courtyard, putting plaques on the ground, everybody who knew Charlie Brown, and Rerun went to the stadium after the plaques were put on the ground. Plus, it was raining.
"Switch the bells off. Thank you. We welcome all of you to the funeral of Charles Brown, and Rerun Van Pelt. Both Charlie Brown, and Rerun were very well behaved. They never got into any trouble. When both of them were bullied, they went to a teacher about this. I was the first one to find out about this, when I went in the school at 6:05 AM. I knew from then, I had to let everyone know about this. We are all going through this difficult time at Birchwood Elementary School.
Who would like to go first in this?"
"I would like to." Silas said. Charles Monroe Brown was the best son any parent could ever ask for. He would always help around the house, and help Sally with her homework, every time she got confused. He will always be within our hearts.
"Who would like to go next."
I would like to, Sir." Linus Said. Charlie Brown was the best friend I could ever ask for. I asked him if I would sit with him on the school bus. That was when our friendship started. My last words to him before he passed away, was that I hope you studied for the Math Test tomorrow.. And I have to live with that for the rest of my life too! That's all I have to say, Sir. I just can't cope with this.
"Who else would like to go next?"
"I would like to go next, Sir." Marcie said. Charles was the best person I could ever ask for. I really don't have much to say. Charles. If you're listenning to this, you will always be in our hearts.
"Can I go next, Sir?" Peppermint Patty said.
"You can."
"Chuck was the best person I could ever ask for, in my life. I would always call him Sly Dog. Now that he's gone, who will I ever talk to?" Peppermiint Patty said.
After everyone gave their condolonces to Charlie Brown, and Rerun, the last person to give their condolonces was Lucy.
"Well, I don't know what to say. I never knew both Charlie Brown, and Rerun would both die. For Charlie Brown, he was a good person. So was Rerun. I would pull the football away from him, every time he tried to kick it." Lucy said, while trying to hold back her tears. I just can't cope anymore. I will miss both Charlie Brown, and Rerun!
"We will all miss Charlie Brown, and Rerun." Linus said, very upset, and devestated.
After everyone gave their condolonces for Charlie Brown, and Rerun, everyone, especially Charlie Brown, and Rerun's teachers were so upset, that they cried.
"I never seen our teacher cry before. I don't think she's taking the sad news very well." Linus said.
Both Charlie Brown, and Rerun were laid to rest in the Crystal Lake Cemetery.
The next chapter will be where Joe Agate gets sent to the Minneapolis Detention, and Juvenile Court. Who knows?
