They all landed in front of a large stone building. Traveling by portkey was never one of Amelias favorite forms of travel but it beat aparating as she was terribly prone to motion sickness. As she regained her balance she looked around, the sudden shift from mid-day to early morning was disorienting. The air was cool and the sun was just rising as the birds chirped awake. Morning dew still clung to freshly mowed grass. A quick tempus charm read 5am.
"Merlin it's only 5 in the morning, there is no way he's here now!" She whispered to the two chaperones.
Tonks looked to Remus and shrugged. "Didn't think about the time difference...want to grab something to eat?"
Remus and Tonks took advantage of the extra time they had with Amelia, going over important details of the war and Snapes role. She listened intently, trying to wrap her head around the insanely dangerous path this man took.
"Honestly I wouldn't blame him if he decided to stay out of it." She said finally. They had spent most of the morning at a local cafe, killing time before she had to meet him.
"No one would blame him but we have no choice at this point." Remus said as he took a swig of coffee. Tonks was happily munching on her third doughnut.
"Gods is that the time?" Amelia caught sight of a clock hanging behind the register. Taking one last sip of coffee she got up and looked at the her companions. "You guys sure you don't want to come?" She knew they wouldn't and if they did he would absolutely run or worse, attempt to hex one of them
"Yeah, I don't think so." Tonks said as she stood and pulled Amelia into a hug.
Amelia laughed, hugging her back tightly "I thought I would give it one last try."
Amelia looked up at the imposing building bitterly. "I always hated school" She grumbled to herself.
She walked into the main hallway, hoping to find an office, having no idea where this man was located. Thank God she soon spotted a large glass door with the words REGISTRATION above it.
A square faced, middle aged woman sat behind a computer. A twizler hanging from her mouth as her fingers skimmed across the keyboard.
"Can I help you?" She said in a bored tone, her eyes never leaving the screen.
"H-Hello...ermm... I'm looking for Professor Snape? I'm not sure where his classroom is." Amelia was never a good liar, keeping it short was always her strategy.
The woman's small eyes snapped to Amelia and she squinted. "Is he expecting you?"
'oh fuck' Amelia panicked slightly. "Yes. I'm his niece, he never told me what his classroom number was."
The woman eyed her suspiciously.
If she didn't answer her soon she was worried she was going to tangle herself in a web of lies. "Ma'am, please. It's important. It's about my mother, she's terribly sick." Amelia tried her best to make her eyes water. 'Just one tear and you're in' Her eyes refused to cooperate so she lifted a finger to the inner corner of her eye and sniffled. "Oh goodness, I'm sorry"
The woman's features relaxed a fraction and handed her a kleenex. 'Got ya' Amelia thought slyly, silently applauding herself for not vomiting lies all over this poor stranger.
"He's in lecture hall 394. Down the hall, at the end of the flight of stairs to the left. His free period is almost over so I would hurry."
Amelia smiled to her sweetly and clicked her tongue against her teeth. "Thank you so much. You've been so helpful."
Amelias pace slowed down dramatically as she approached his lecture hall. The frosted doors closed tightly, a bold '394' plaque in the center of it. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. Shaking her hands out and rolling her neck, she started to hype herself up like she was about to run a marathon. "You got this, you got this. Stop being a twat, you have this girl. He will want to help you. You're likable."
All too suddenly she was directly in front of the door. "God why did I agree to this?" She asked herself as she placed her hand on the cold handle. Her senses heightened due to her near crippling anxiety. "He's just a guy Amelia! Just go in!" Suddenly she heard what sounded like rustling followed by a sigh. 'He's definitely in there.' She told herself as she pushed open the door.
As Amelia stepped over the threshold of the large room, she heard a whimper to her right.
Splayed out on his desk was a half naked, dark haired young woman, her legs wrapped securely around Severus' waist as he pumped into her ruthlessly. With each strong thrust the girl moaned, her hands clutching into the edge of the desk for dear life. His breath began to hitch and he started to groan, white knuckled his fingers digging into her hips. His eyes screwed shut in concentration as his thrusts became more erratic.
"OH GODS!" Amelia shrieked as she threw her hands up to her face.
Severus immediately pulled out of Elle as she sqeaked and his wand appeared in his hand seemingly out of no where. Elle jumped off the desk and hurriedly began to dress.
Amelia slowly pulled her hand away from her eyes and was greeted by the tip of a long dark wand. She looked from the wand to it's owner. Waves of absolute rage swirling around him. She glanced down and then quickly back up. His pants and underwear were still wrapped around his thighs. Her face growing hot and red, she looked him dead in the eye despite her absolute embarrassment.
A disheveled looking Elle tried to hurry past Amelia. With all of her concentration she forced 'If she isn't magical you need to obliviate her!' into his head.
Severus' eyes widened. His mind is not easily accessed. "A legilimens..." he whispered as he flicked his fingers, his clothes righting themselves.
Her eyes never faltering 'You know the laws in America'
"AH!" Severus yelled to his lover as she tried to make her way past them. Elle stopped dead in her tracks, turning to him meekly. "Miss Harding... please have a seat."
