Elle sat down in a desk in the front row, her head bowed in shame. Clutching her bra and sweater to her chest like armor. She only managed to pull her tank top over her head and her jeans back up in her hasty, shameful retreat. Amelia looked her over, somewhat jealously. She was beautiful and young and small. Amelia was "curvey" with a nice hourglass shape but clearly more endowed than most. Her thighs and hips were thick and her chest was large. Men only liked her for one thing but never wanted to keep her around long. She wouldn't say she was fat but she certainly wasn't anywhere near Elle in terms of what men wanted.
'Of course he would want to fuck her, anyone would. Gods I would fuck her." Amelia thought bitterly to herself 'NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE.' She reminded herself.
Severus had his wand aimed at Amelias head. She looked at him and rolled her eyes. "Calm down, I don't even have my wand out." she sighed.
"And why would that matter? You could easily attack me without it." He said quietly, neither paying attention to the now shaking student.
"If your talking about wandless-" she then silently mouthed the words magic "I never mastered it." He furrowed his brows at her and waited for her to continue.
Amelia raised her hands and then slowly pulled out a long, light colored wand. "Dogwood. Loud and temperamental"
"Ah, an annoying wand. Can't see how that could possibly reflect your charm." He said sarcastically.
"A-am I in t-trouble?" Elle was practically hyperventilating, her eyes wide and swimming with tears. Both witch and wizard's heads snapped to her, forgetting she was there for a moment.
Amelia looked to Severus and gingerly put her wand on the floor by her feet. Lifting her hands again she lightly kicked it out of her way. "I'm unarmed. Take care of the muggle." That last bit came out with a bit of a bite. Her misplaced jealousy slipping past.
She didn't know if it was envy of her form or of the fact that she was being properly plowed by Severus moments ago. 'Gods pull it together, your only interaction with him has been completely hostile. Yeah, just the guy your looking for. He hasn't known you for more than 10 min and he's ready to kill you.'
Severus eyed her as she focused on Elle, his eyes flicking to the abandoned wand on the floor then back to Amelia. "Fine. But if you move an...inch...I will kill you. Without hesitation." He said lowly, his voice dripping with threat.
Amelia threw her hands up in defeat. "Ok, I get it! Just do this so we can carry on."
Severus moved toward his student, his eyes still lingering on Amelia distrustfully. Finally he tore them away and focused on Elle.
"Put your clothes back on Miss Harding." He ran his tongue over his front teeth and looked away from her as she dressed. He was clearly embarrassed. Once she was clothed, he pointed his wand at her forehead and cast a quick obliviate. All traces of her memory from the past 48 hours were gone in ten seconds.
Her eyes went blank and her face relaxed, blissfully unaware of anything that had transpired.
Severus stuck his wand back up his sleeve and crossed his arms. "Miss Harding, I will look over your grades and see what I can do." He said simply. She looked around the room confused and stood up slowly.
"Erm...ok...thank you professor." She said as she started walking towards the door, obviously not knowing how she ended up in her professors lecture hall.
Once the door closed, Severus waved his hand to lock it. He turned his attention back to Amelia who looked bored as she patiently waited. "Who are you?"
"Amelia Lawson." She said simply. "Is that how you greet everyone who walks through an UNLOCKED door?"
"The door is warded to open to potential threats." He answered simply.
"Well THAT doesn't make sense. Don't you want to make it more difficult for threats to get in?"
"I don't have time for this-what is the purpose for this intrusion?" Clearly he was becoming annoyed now that he saw her as less of a danger.
"I'm..." Not knowing how to continue she went quiet. Weighing her words carefully.
Severus raised a black brow at her, practically demanding her to continue. "Well, Miss Lawson are you going to spit it out or do you feel the need to waste my time?"
Amelia picked her wand up off the ground and pocketed it. She huffed at him. "I need to talk to you about something. But I don't think this is the right place to do it."
Severus turned his back on her and walked behind his desk, putting papers and books back in order. Clearly they had been tossed about when he decided to use the space for other activities.
"I have no intention of going anywhere with you. You can either tell me why you are here or you can leave." He said, bent over his desk. She walked towards him and he stood to his full height, looking down his nose at her, eye brow arched.
"Severus please-there is something very serious going on and I've been tasked with something that seems impossible." He said nothing but continued to look at her as if she wasn't talking at all. His face was completely devoid of emotion.
She decided to continue. "I need your help."
There it was. Just another person trying to use him for thier own benefit. "No." he said after a beat.
"No?" Amelia asked. Almost sounding offended.
"No." He said simply, sitting down, he began rummaging around in one of his drawers.
Amelia stared at him. Her hands out as if pleading for him to listen. "You don't even know what's happening over there!" She pointed to a wall, obviously having no idea what direction Great Britain was in but he understood.
"Let me guess...this has something to do with Potter." He still wasn't looking at her.
"Well.." Amelia thought for a moment. "Kind of, it has more to do with-"
He raised a hand to stop her. "I don't have time for this. Unless you have something important to tell me-I truly don't care. I have a class in ten minutes. Again...Miss Lawson...out with it."
"Theremaybeanotheruprisingandineedyourhelpinfiltratingadarkcirlceofwizardsorimfucked." There. She said it. In one breath. Hopefully he understood.
His brows furrowed and his face screwed up in bewilderment. No one said anything for a full 30 seconds. He stood and placed both of his palms flat on his desk. Lowering his face close to Amelias he spoke quietly. "No."
Amelia looked defeated. She blew it. The first step in her task and she couldn't win him over. She shook her head and stepped away. "You're just as stubborn as they said." She regarded him for a moment. She knew she couldn't leave, she needed to convince him.
"They may have a way to bring him back." That was the only thing she could think to say that may change his mind.
Severus' face relaxed as the color drained slightly. He slowly blinked as if he was trying to banish her words from his memory. Amelia looked at him with desperation. "What?" was all he managed. It was barley audible.
"Ginny is pregnant. They conceived before his fall...the baby could be a horcrux. I need to know what they are planning before they catch wind of this."
Severus' stepped from behind his desk in two strides, he grabbed Amelia's shoulders and turned her around, walking her towards his office. "I have class. Stay in here-quietly...until I return."
