After freed from the medication, Vinod's eyes falls on the dairy which was placed near by his medical box, and unknowingly he stared reading after picking it up from the rack..

As he opened his dairy, A smiling face of Daya welcomed him in the form of his picture which he has pasted at the starting of his dairy in his remembrance, he started spreading his hand on Daya's ever green smiling face which bring tears in his eyes and the heaviness on his heart, he turned the pages of the dairy and stopped at the page, where

Flashback

The very next day Abhijeet has to go the headquarters with ACP sir for an urgent and important meeting which cannot be cancelled, so Vinod was there with Daya..

Daya was gaining senses back and after seeing him the movements in the body of Daya, Vinod come close to him and grab his hand tightly, after few minutes of recognizing the situation, Daya immediately spring up from the bed while taking his hand back from the grips of Vinod, while Vinod tighly hold his hand and try to confront him as;

Vinod : kya kar raho Daya, aram se utho na..

Daya in scared way : dur raho tum aur sab muhjse please (look here and there) aur Abhi ko bhi mere pass nahi aana dena tum please..

He started yelling with the same scary words again and again and to calm him down, Vinod has slapped him hard, which made him cry like a baby, Vinod immediately moved forward and hugged him so tightly, and they both shared their pain and agony on each other's shoulders while tears were flowing from their eyes which were the witness of their pain, scare and fear of losing the loved ones..

After composing and encouraging in each others embrace, they both parted from the hug , Vinod made Daya drink some water and after seeing him bit calm, he explains him the situation..

Vinod(in much composed way) : Dekh Daya jessa tum soch rahein ho wesa nahi hai yaar, please tum khud ko smabhalo, aur abh meri baat dyan se suno..

(bit angry way)

Daya tum CID officer hokar essa socho gein toh aam logo ko kessein essa sochne se rook gein tum hain..?(How will you make understand the general people about this prombem)

Hain theek hai ki tumhe yeh problem ho gayi hai, lekin isska hargis yeh matlab nahi hai ki tum, iss tarah ki faltu harkatein kartein raho, aur sabse zaroori baat yeh hai ki, issme tumhari koi galti nahi thi aur na hai..

Aur nahi HIV tumhein chune se hum logo ko hoga, toh yeh fazul hi baatein aapne dimak se nikal do please tum..

HIV sirf aur sirf kuch hi conditions mein hi transport hota hai ek se dosre insan mein and that are :

1) If someone uses infected syringe, needle or IV of HIV patient..

2) If someone is transfused an infected blood to the healthy person..

3) If someone is having unprotected physical relationship with the already infected person..(unknowingly or unknowingly)

4) One of the major reasons why this spreading so fast in our society is due to above mentioned reason & our young generation are crazy about having tattoos on their body, which is the main reason, you may use the same needle of the infected person..

5) It will transferred through mother during pregnency to the child, if mother is unaware about it then or during feeding the milk..

After taking sad sign and looked into the eyes of Daya & told him that : Aur Daya tum akele nahi ho joh iss tarah iss bemari ke shikar hue ho, mein ek doctor hu aur mere samne hazaro esse hi cases aatein hai har roz, abhi kuch dino pehle hi ek Thalassemia

(it's a Genetic disorder in which the patients generally it happens in the kids by birth, needs to transfuse the blood mainly RBC regularly within 10 to 15 days period to survive a healthy life for their lifetime as there is no treatment as such , except the bone marrow transplant which a very expensive treatment while the success rate is also not very assured)

ka patient aaya tha, inko infected blood ke through HIV hogaya tha (Daya looked at him with shocking eyes while tears started forming in his eyes silently) , lekin isska matlab yeh toh nahi hai na ki hum zindagi se haar maan kar hudhkushi karle..?

Daya just hold his hand tightly while hiding his eyes,he smiles scretley on his action as he continued as : Aur Daya hum treatment kare gein na, hain bhi koi permanent treatment toh nahi hai, lekin kuch combinations of medications hai jesse ki life spam will increase with proper monatring your health..

Vinod ordered him that he has to go with him & Abhijeet to the doctor for the check up, treatment and process to which Daya nodded his head silently..

And they continue there light chit chat with the breakfast and tea and milk glass for Daya which had with a lots of making efforts till Abhijeet come..

In the evening Abhijeet come and after having all the updates from Vinod, he was very happy yet very upset from the act done by Daya the previous evening..

And to rectify his misdeed, Daya made dinner for all the three of them, which they enjoyed together,

Daya apologies to Vinod and Abhijeet which they accepted and take the promise from him that no matter what in life happens, he will not be doing such kind of act again in the life again..

From the next morning, Daya's treatment started after thorough check up, testing and reporting etc..

Everyone supports him whether physically or mentally, he was also responding pretty well to the treatment while medications were also showing their effects on him..

Abhijeet and Vinod were always there with him when he need them..

One fine day, Daya ordered both to get ready and company with him to an orphanage where the little kids were staying and an authorities were taking care of them while few kids were also suffering from the same problem, so decided to donate monthly a certain percentage of his salary to them as the medications for this treatment was/is very expensive..

To which they both agreed happily, and whenever they all get free time from there busy schedule then they visit to an orphanage to spent some quality time with the kids..

Everything was going very smoothly but one day,

CID team was returning from the crime spot and on their way, some gangsters attack them with force, they all were not at all ready for this attack but they give them very tight fight, in between this, one gangster tries to shot at Abhijeet directly but Daya come in between by pushing him aside and he got shot badly, and till then CID team with the help of back up team , over power them all & they were taken to the custody while Daya was rushed to the hospital in the car itself by the team along with Abhijeet who was in the shock from this act of Daya..

After reaching hospital, Daya was taken to the operation theater while Abhijeet was taken to an emergency room for the treatment for his injuries and on the request of ACP sir, doctor give him sedate till the operation was going on while everyone was praying for the well - being for the both of them in their hearts..

After much long hours of waiting and praying, doctors come out from the operating room and inform them that due to the some complication and excess loss of blood, Daya's condition is very critical and next 24 hours are very crucial for him,

after hearing this news everyone shattered very badly,

Abhijeet and Vinod were not able to excess this news as well as they both were not ready to accept this fact, so ACP sir took them both after taking due permission from the doctor to the ICU where Daya was shifted from the operation room with force and after looking at the pale and much weak face of Daya they become norm,

While Vinod all of sudden transformed into a Doctor attire where he stared examining his vitals and taking updates from the on duty nurse and doctor..

During this visit, Daya comes in senses and takes promise from both of them to move forward in the life happily and ask Vinod to stay with Abhijeet in their home with him to which they both agreed..

And all of sudden, his breathing become heavy due to which doctors shifted him to the ventilator with the consent of the family and within few hours of struggling for the life against death, Death wins..!

Despite all their prayer and hard work of the doctors to bring him back toward the life goes in veins and he leaves behinds the devastated family , Abhijeet and Vinod who don't know how to react to this stocking and unbelievable news..

With much struggles and hardship, Daya's last rituals were performed by Abhijeet and Vinod , as it was Daya's last wish..

Since then they both were staying together in the DUO homes and trying to come back towards the life with the help of the family and team efforts..

Flashback ends

Vinod eyes are shedding uncountable tears while going through this painful journey, he was just hugging his dairy and planting wet kisses on it like he was hugging Daya in person..

While murmuring : yeh tune accha nahi kiya Daya humarein saath, Abhijeet ke saath.. You have cheated us, tune kaha tha ki tu aapni puri koshish karein ga, aur bilkul theek ho jayein ga aur phir hum kahin gumenein bhi jayein geyein, par tune toh humara saath athe raaste mein chor diya yaar..

Tum bahut bure ho, bah bahut bure ho..( shouting and crying while taking his name loudly)

And someone far away from the place at the same time moment, is also shedding tears silently while watching all these moments on his cellphone through web camera's as it was fixed by him because of Daya's safety in the home, after giving sometime to himself and Vinod to compose themselves, Abhijeet made a call to Vinod who understand well that he had caught red handed after watching the callers name which is flashing on the screen of his cellphone, so he composed himself & received the call and heard a taunting yet concern voice from the other side of cell phone as.

Abhijeet( in heavy tone): Kar li sari baatein aapne yaar se aapne dil ki aur meri shikayetein bhi zaroor ki hogin tumne..?

This brings light smile on the faces of both..

While heard the much composed voice of Vinod as.

Vinod replied after clearing his throat as: Hain kar li hai Abhijeet , lekin koi zawab nahi aata wapis chahein kitna kuch bhi kehe lu mein, hai toh woh tumhara hi ladla na toh who meri baat kyun sunega , hunh..

(with this a thin line of tears falls from the both pairs of eyes but to divert the conversation, he continued as )

Accha khair tum baato, tumne iss samay kesse phone karliyein..?

(With this he looked at his wrist watch which is showing 9 p.m in the evening and got shocked but managed himself well in time)

Abhijeet (in a strict yet tough tone) : Hmm, dekh liye na kya waqt hua hai aur tum mujhse puch rahein ho waqt ka, Aain..!

With this they comfort each other with light talks and bidding bye and wishing each other, headed towards the new journey of their life where they share the same pain of losing their beloved yet to fulfill the promise to moved forward with having a smile on their faces and meet the new challenges and faces all the up and downs together..

I have chosen this very topic to write a story is just to bring an awareness as well as difference between HIV and AIDS, I can write it in much elaborate way but at the moment , not in that state of mind..

Its my sincere request from those who have read this story, is that please be very cautious with your life's and your loved ones too..

Don't consume drugs, don't use tattoos and if possible then please donate blood for the needy people, your one unit of blood donation, can give life's to many people as, from one bag of blood, 6 different products are extracted like RBC, Plasma, WBC, Platelets etc and given to the needy people when its necessary..

Please Don't wait to start this noble deed for personally experiencing any misshape happen in your or your loved ones life..

And above all, do not discriminate the people who are unknowingly gets affected by this disease, it really breaks them into pieces when they experience the rude and untouchable behavior from the society, loved one, friends and family..
