Shelby had arrived in Twinford with Franco in the car with him.
Franco could tell she was bored as hell and felt sorry for her. He considered Shelby as a second daughter. Gis first had sadly passed away the same way Shelby's dad had. He saw her as a daughter figure and she saw him as a father figure. "Hey, the map says there's a diner near. I'll stop and you can go order something. That okay for you?"
Shelby smiled. "Thank you Franco."
As she got out of the car and into the Double Donut Diner, she had bumped into something and spilled a drink. As she stood up, she saw a tall guy wearing literally only noir and blanc. He had one earring, dark kohl around his eyes, and midnight black hair with curtain bangs.
"Oh my God. Fuck it!" he hissed. "I am so sorry, are you okay?"
"Are you okay?" laughed Shelby before raising her voice to say,"Or did the kohl blind you or something?"
He picked up his cup, grabbed some wipers and blushed out of embarrassment.
"Hey, I'm just kidding, man. Does everyone here have no sense of humor or is it just you? Anyways, whats your name?"
"I'm Jeremy, but everyone calls me Jem so you can too. Except my sister when she calles me that just to piss me off. But it feels weird when people calls me by my legal name. But get used to it, 'cause almost everyone doesn't get called by their legal name. So you new to this town?"
"Yup", said Shelby nodding. "I'm joining Twinford High School this Monday. You go there?"
"I do! Come sit with me and my friends when you join. Just letting you know, we're all nepotism babies."
Just as he said that, two girls came in screaming Jem's name. One of them had dirty blonde hair, fair skin and was wearing a long sleeved sparkly crop top (you can already guess who one of them was) and another was wearing an orange vest with baggy jean trousers and a leather jacket. She also had tanned skin and caramel brown hair that looked like it was recently dyed.
