Disclaimer: l don't own Naruto
Jiraiya had finally arrived, the Uzumaki household was now within his sights. He would finally get to corrupt his young godson and teach the inner workings of a woman but he'd have to be careful. If Kushina caught wind of this, she would have his head on platter. He would need Minato to distract the feisty redhead for him. He however, was not prepared for the beautiful young girl that opened the door. The red hair was somewhat a give away but the writer side of him wondered if this young thing belonged to Naruto.
"Jiraiya," she vocalised. Oh, so she knew his name. "That's my name so don't..." she quickly held up her hand to stop.
"Please don't tell me you taught Naruto that," she told him. This made him wonder if he was somehow giving the young boy relationship problems. He would hate to make the boy lose something like this.
"You know Naruto?" he asked as he shifted the conversation. She had the possibility of being related to him but he would still support any relationship they had. Really, this was just his wild mind running.
"I'm his cousin, Mito," she was secretly happy at the fact the author of icha icha was here. Naruto had said that the man was his godfather. As an after thought, she made sure to check if he was a pervert. He wasn't, thankfully.
Mito fully opened the door, allowing Jiraiya in. 'Cousin' she heard the man mumble and she knew his perverted mind was working overtime. While she liked his work, she was not going to tolerate his behavior in actual life. She did have her own morals, even if Naruto questioned them at times.
"Hey Mito, who was at the...door?" Naruto walked in as he trailed of at seeing his godfather. "Pervy sage," he smiled widely. The man had once tried to become a monk but his love for women was too strong.
"Don't call me that in front of the woman!" he answered back though he could tell Mito was amused if anything.
"Please," Naruto waved off his concern, " She's just as perverted as you, she reads your books after all,"
Jiraiya smiled widely at this. He turned to Mito with his usual lecherous grin. He wiggled his brow suggestively. "I didn't know that l'd meet a fellow lover of the arts," he was promptly smacked in the face and out of the house, Naruto following.
"So... where'd you get this one?"Jiraiya asked the blonde as they began walking along the street. Naruto had the feeling Mito had just been waiting for the chance to get rid of him.
"Mom died in a car crash so money offered to have her live here," Naruto told him as the elder man nodded.
"Amd how's she coping?" the pervert asked. Naruto seemed to consider this for a moment before he smiled.
"She opens up more and more each day, times heals," he sounded oddly smart with that remark. The girl had likely done that to him. She would likely be another obstacle in his constant attempts to pervert Naruto.
"Orochimaru is back in town," the blonde turned to Jiraiya as he spoke. Jiraiya groaned at that. "I know, it's actually part of why I'm back," he told Naruto.
"Were you stalking him?" Naruto asked in slight disbelief. Jiraiya looked horrified at the suggestion.
"I don't swing that way," he said smoothly as Naruto snorted at him. "That was always obvious," he said.
Naruto didn't really know why Jiraiya was fixated on Orochimaru. To him, the man was just the creepy fashion model who taught at school. He had no idea about the pedo and his shddy dealings. His godfather had just told him to be wary of the guy. That in it's self was pretty suspicious bit had never really dwelled on it.
Jiraiya however was fully aware. The man had been fixated on Itachi Uchiha but he could never get him. Now the creeps attention was the younger brother. While most thought the guy was just weird and successful, they didn't know about his side business. Human trafficking. Most kids he helped go big wound up missing. Often the snake would say they were off traveling the lesser known parts of the elemental nations, bit Jiraiya knew better, especially after the man tried his luck on Kushina. Adding Mito to the mix was not good. He was definitely staying now.
"This play will determine part of your grade at the end of the term," Kurenai Yuuhi told her class as they all groaned. When most had applied, they just thought that it would be fun but all those that got parts now had to perform for their grades.
Naruto didn't really mind so much. He was more hands on anyway so he didn't make mind. His character fit him perfectly, cheerful and exuberant. The plot apparently revolved around the two main men pining ober the same woman. It just so turned out Sasuke was the over guy, ridiculous. Kurenai had not showed them the final scene, so the two boys didn't know who was getting the girl at the end. Said girl was Hinata and neither had a problem with that.
Now, Sakura had tried really hard to get the part but she just didn't fit the criteria. Now Sasuke might end up with Hinata, even if only in the play. She did not like the chances of that. Mito's words earlier did nothing to ease her nerves.
"It's easy to get emotionally involved in this type of thing, no thanks,"Hopefully, Naruto got the girl this time. Not only for her sake but for Hinata's as well. Surely something like this would shoe the dense idiot how the girl felt. Too bad Sakura severely underestimated the stupidity of the blonde when it came to women and matters of the heart.
