Ruby, Shelby, Hitch and her parents arrived at the beach house and were stopped by a security guard.
"Names, please," asked the security guard.
"Ruby Redfort, and these are my plus ones."
"Oh my God, Brant and Sabina Redfort? I'm such a big fan!" said the security guard. "You are allowed in."
"Thank you, sir." said Brant.
Ruby wasn't wearing a dress, but she wore a blindingly sparkly t- shirt with shorts. Hitch wore a suit, and Shelby wore a blue dress with hoop earrings. Just then did Ruby bump into Honey.
"Oh, sorry Ruby, if you're looking for Clancy he's near the slushy vending machine." said Honey, pointing at him. Clancy was wearing a suit with a red rose on it, and his hair looked surprisingly tidy.
"Hey, Clance, you look great today." said Ruby.
"You don't look so bad yourself, Rube." said Clancy. "Go try some of those slushies, they're top tier."
"I'll go later, just need to look for Hitch."
Mouse was there staring at Gemma, with Elliot next to her. "Mouse, just go and tell her, you can't go rejecting your feelings."
"And then what," said Mouse. "What if she hates me now, what is she attempts to out me?"
"She would have done that a long time ago when you kissed during the school lockdown if she hated you. I've gotta go, I need to go help Del prepare to come here."
"Honestly, of all people, you pick Elliot to be your escort?" asked Bianca.
"Theres honestly no one here I want to to be my escort, not even Elliot."
Elliot then walked in. "Jeez, you look so good, and that hair!"
Del let out a blush, "Thanks. You ready?"
"Hey, Samantha, when did Cesar say he was getting here?" asked Red.
"Oh, he's in Twinford," said Samantha. "Near here I'm sure. He's on his way."
"I can't believe you and my mom actually pulled it off and got his visa back!"
"Yeah but if he uses it irresponsibly thats on him."
"Hey, so where's the birthday girl?" Shelby asked Dantaya.
"At the start of a quince, the birthday girl arrives in the venue with their escort, which should be right now for us." explained Dantaya.
"Look, here it starts now," says Jem.
"Everybody, first off, thank you all for coming. I'm appreciative of this." said Bianca through the mic.
A round of applause by guests.
"No it's time to welcome the birthday girl, la quincañera herself, Delora Gabriella Montenegro-Lasco!"
"Delora?" whispered Clancy out of shock.
"I always thought it was Delilah." said Red.
"What in the white girl kinda name is that?" thought Mouse.
"I mean her sister calls her Lola as a nickname so it only made sense." said Ruby
"Fair enough but Gabriella?" said Clancy.
As Del and her friends (or damas, and chambelanes as what they would be treferred to all night) walked in, there was an even bigger applause from the guests cheering and hyping her up as she came on to the stage.
"Now here's to the lives God kindly gave us, and here's to fifteen years of love and trouble!" said Bianca.
Every adult that was invited held up their drink and muttered either "Cheers to God" "Grazie a Dio" or "Gracias Dio".
Red was taking sips of Vodka from Sadie's drink the entire time.
"It's now time for the waltz!" shouted Samantha.
Something really important happened right after that in which the audience really gasped.
"Oh, for fucks sake, could the audience just turn it down a bit? This is a party, not a pantomime." Ruby hissed.
Coming right from backstage was the father of Del, Montero, Dantaya and Eric, and each of them had different reactions. Eric ran to his dad, Montero waved and smiled, Dantaya was resisting the urge to put up the middle finger and Del was trying not to cry.
"Um- how did Cesar get here?" said Bianca, looking at Samantha.
Samantha gave an exaggerated shrug.
