Chapter 2: Izaya's Adoption & Celebration
Both Byakuya and Izaya have arrived. When the doors opened there was Byakuya's grandfather, Ginrei Kuchiki.
Izaya's eyes widened as he felt a really strong presence.
"Ah, welcome. Please come in and let's get this started." Ginrei said.
Izaya gulped as he slowly walked in with Byakuya, he looked behind him and saw that Rukia hadn't arrived yet.
Izaya took some deep breaths as he saw Ginrei Kuchiki walk up to Izaya and looked at him.
Izaya couldn't crack a smile or even bow.
"Hmm? So, this is the boy that Rukia Kuchiki found in the world of the living and brought him here?" Ginrei asked.
"Yes. And I am willing to adopt him into our clan." Byakuya said.
Izaya froze when he heard 'Adopt him into our clan.'
Rukia quietly came in as she stood beside Izaya.
Ginrei looked at Rukia and gave her a warm smile.
"Very well, he seems to be a great soul reaper." Ginrei said.
Izaya was still in shock as he fainted.
Rukia caught him.
"Oh? Seems like he isn't willing to be adopted then?" Ginrei asked.
"No sir, he's just in shock. We'll explain everything to him once he wakes up." Rukia said.
"Very well. Take good care of him." Ginrei said.
Rukia and Byakuya both bowed and nodded as they carried Izaya and walked outside.
"I'll go get him some water." Byakuya said.
"Yes of course, brother." Rukia said.
When Izaya snapped awake as he heard his name being called.
Izaya blinked his eyes. He didn't faint, he was just in shock.
He looked up at Ginrei Kuchiki and bowed.
"Yes sir. I want to be with the Kuchiki clan, as I don't have a family on my own. I'm a runaway, bounced from home to home, with no attention and love." Izaya explained.
Ginrei Kuchiki patted Izaya's head and smiled at him.
"Very well, welcome to the family, Izaya Kuchiki." Ginrei said as he bowed.
Izaya lifted up his face as he cried. He happily hugged Ginrei, crying with happy tears.
"Thank you! Thank you so much! Thank you!" Izaya said.
Rukia smiled a bit as she shed a tear.
"We hope we'll make your life be filled with love and attention." Ginrei said.
"Yes, of course. Thank you so much." Izaya said.
Everyone bowed as they left.
Rukia happily hugged Izaya as she kissed his face.
"R-Rukia!" Izaya said as he giggled.
"Welcome to the Kuchiki clan, Izaya! I'm so happy." Rukia said.
Izaya happily smiled as he cried, "Thank you. I-I'm really happy like my heart is pounding so hard right now."
"It's a normal reaction for excitement." Rukia said.
A voice came by as Byakuya turned to him.
"Hello, Renji. I'd like you to meet our new member, Izaya Kuchiki." Byakuya said.
Renji looked over at Izaya as he smiled big.
"Hi! Congratulations." Renji said.
"Thank you, and we've met before, correct?" Izaya asked.
"Yep, we sure did." Renji said.
"Izaya, is there a way you want to celebrate this?" Rukia asked.
"A celebration party, and everybody is invited!" Izaya said.
"Captain, can we? Please Please Please!" Renji begged.
Byakuya nodded, "Yes. I'll buy any sweets if you want me too."
"AWESOME!" The three said.
"Let's go make some invitations and give them to everybody." Renji said.
"M-May my boyfriend come?" Izaya asked.
"Of course! Keigo is a wonderful guy, he can come." Rukia said.
"And for the colors, I want purple and black." Izaya said.
"Hell yeah, you got it!" Renji said.
He and Rukia held hands as they both walked off to their rooms to make the invitations.
Izaya smiled as he wiped his tears and sat down on a rock as he took out his phone and texted Keigo.
"Hey babe, I got adopted! And we're having a celebration, would you like to come over to celebrate with me~?" Izaya asked as he pressed send.
"Oh dear, I want to go ahead and congratulate you but I should probably wait till the party." Said a voice.
Izaya jumped up as he did a flip and landed perfectly on his feet.
Gin clapped his hands, "My my, that was amazing. Care to do it again~?"
"Gin, don't scare me like that. I'm easily scared." Izaya said.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Anyways, congrats dear one, so happy for ya." Gin said as he patted Izaya's hair.
Izaya smiled as he looked away, "Thank you. I hope to see you at the celebration!" Izaya said as he shunpoed away.
Gin chuckled, "What a strange little man."
Izaya checked his phone as he blushed.
"Sure babe! I would love to come." Keigo said.
"Great! I'm getting ready then I'll come by to pick you up honey~." Izaya said.
"Awesome babe! I'll be in my room.~" Keigo replied back.
Izaya combed his hair and he put on his earrings back in his ears, his nose piercing, and his padlock necklace. He then went to the gates to head to the world of the living.
"I'm going to pick up Keigo. I'll be right back!" Izaya texted Rukia.
He opened the gate as he headed to the world of the living.
Izaya landed as he walked to Keigo's house.
Keigo stood up as he smiled big to see his lover, "Hey babe! I'm so happy for you."
Izaya ran up to Keigo and hugged him back, "Thanks love, I- I nearly fainted. I thought I was going to vomit."
Keigo chuckled, "That's a normal reaction, I'm just so happy that you've found a family." Keigo said.
Izaya smiled back.
"You look so hot tonight….." Keigo said.
Izaya closed his eyes as he and his lover began to passionately kiss each other.
Izaya moaned a bit as Keigo kissed his neck.
"H-hey babe..~ We're outside..~" Izaya said.
"Mmm~ I'm sorry, seeing you so happy and wearing your accessories is turning me on.~" Keigo said.
Izaya shook his head as he laughed, "You're hot too cause your hair is getting longer.~" Izaya said.
"Thank you babe, can we make love later on?" Keigo asked.
"Mmmm~ We'll see.~" Izaya said as he stroked his lover's chin.
Keigo blushed.
The two then stood up as they left to go back to the soul society.
The two headed to Izaya's room to change clothes.
"Purple and black are the colors." Izaya said as he put on a dark purple shirt that had a giant silver smiley face on it, and black skinny jeans.
Keigo put on a black shirt with a giant red heart in the middle and dark blue jeans.
"Is this okay, baby?" Keigo asked.
"Hell yeah, you're still hot as ever.~" Izaya said.
Keigo blushed as he was pinned to the bed.
"B-Babe?" Keigo said.
Izaya was on top of his lover, he leaned and gave him a deep kiss and grinded on him.
Keigo blushed more as he moaned, letting Izaya do his love making.
"Babe, where do you want to get married?" Izaya asked.
"H-Here, i-if that's o-o-haaah~ Izaya.~" Keigo said as he moaned.
Izaya chuckled, "Sorry.~ I wanted to hear your voice.~" Izaya said.
Keigo smiled as he and Izaya kissed again, "But do you want to wait till marriage?" Keigo asked.
"You want too? We never had any arguments." Izaya said.
"I do want to do it with you, I trust you, Izaya." Keigo said.
Izaya smiled as he stopped grinding on Keigo and hugged him, "I love you too, babe."
The two hugged each other for a few minutes as they heard a small knock on the door.
The two looked at each other as they jumped and looked at the door.
"W-What was that?" Keigo asked.
"Let's go check it out, I'm sure it's my sister's boyfriend playing a prank on us." Izaya said.
The two got out of the bed as they headed to the door, when they opened it there were arrow signs on the floor.
"Let's follow the signs, they're leading us to a path." Izaya said.
Keigo nodded as he held his lover's hand and they followed the arrow signs.
When they reached their destination, they both opened the door.
When they walked out, everyone jumped up and shouted: "CONGRATULATIONS, IZAYA!"
Izaya stepped back as he saw everyone who came to celebrate the day he got adopted to the Kuchiki clan.
"Oh my goodness! You guys…! I-I-" Izaya choked on his words.
Rukia walked up to him and gave him a hug, "Izaya, is this okay? We wanted to make it perfect for you."
"It's perfect! Thank you so much~!" Izaya said.
"Look! We're wearing purple and black! Your favorite colors, Izaya!" Yachiru said.
"Awww, y'all look so pretty! Let's party!" Izaya said.
Everyone clapped and cheered.
Yachiru gave Izaya a hug as she smiled and giggled.
"Thank you Yachiru, I promise you we can go to the store and I'll buy you as much candy as you want." Izaya said.
Yachiru happily laughed, "Yay! You're the best," Yachiru said.
Izaya held onto Keigo's hand as they walked to the food.
"Oh hello, Izaya. A new Kuchiki I see?" Aizen said.
"Why yes I am. No pictures please." Izaya said as he laughed.
Aizen chuckled, "Well congrats, I bet you're stronger than me huh?" Aizen asked.
"Actually, I'm not in any squad yet." Izaya said.
"Oh? Which squad do you want to be in then?" Aizen asked.
"Hmm? I mean I see myself as a healer more." Izaya explained.
"Then you're in luck, you can be in my squad then." Captain Unohana said as she approached Izaya.
Izaya turned around as he smiled, "I'm interested."
"Perfect. Welcome to squad four." Captain Unohana said.
Izaya bowed, "Thank you so much, Captain Unohana."
Captain Unohana smiled as she bowed also.
"Well congrats, you've found a family and a squad, so happy for you, Izaya Kuchiki." Aizen said.
"Thanks so much, Aizen." Izaya said as he smiled.
Keigo smiled happily as he gave Izaya some punch.
"Thanks love, mmm! It's purple flavored too. It Tasted good." Izaya said.
"Yeah, I really like it." Keigo said.
"That's because I made it." Said Renji.
"Hey Renji! It's really good." Izaya said.
"Thanks so much!" Anyways, want to take some pictures?" Renji asked.
"Sure!" Izaya said.
Renji, Rukia, Izaya and Keigo all took pictures and selfies with others.
The party lasted for over three hours, where it's a full moon outside, everyone helped clean up and either headed to bed or to train.
Izaya gave Rukia, Renji, and Byakuya a hug one last time.
"Thank you, once again. I promise I will protect y'all and be there for y'all." Izaya said.
"Aww, Izaya, and we'll do the same. Knowing that you're a healer, you'll definitely heal us." Rukia said.
"Yeah, you'll be giving me tons of bandages and stitches on my body." Renji said as he laughed.
Rukia and Izaya also laughed at Renji's joke.
"Welcome to the family, Izaya." Byakuya said.
"Thank you so much, brother." Izaya replied.
Everyone gave each other one last hug as they all headed to their rooms.
Izaya and Keigo both changed into their night clothes as they cuddled into bed.
"I love you, Izaya, have a goodnight, babe." Keigo said.
"I love you too, sweetie. Goodnight." Izaya said.
The two gave each other a kiss on their cheeks.
Izaya looked at the full moon as he smiled in his sleep.
