Chapter 7: Labolas and Katelyn

When Katelyn found the castle Labolas was residing in, she dismounted Stitches. However, little did she know Byleth followed her along with Stripes. They grew concerned about their friend as she was about to enter the castle alone.

"Katelyn! Are you kidding me?" Stripes said concerned of his owner. "Labolas is venomous!"

"If that canine wants to put up a fight with the great Tiger Trotter, which is me, so be it!" Katelyn hollered. "I will just fight Labolas myself!"

"You're saying that you are going to fight Labolas yourself?" Byleth asked. "The same way you fought Sephiroth, the One-Winged Angel?"

"That's right, Byleth." Katelyn said. "But I also do not intend to go alone. I'm taking you, King, and Stripes with me."

"I'll go get King." Stripes said. And so, Stripes went to get King.

Back with the African lion King and Mario, the two were discussing about Labolas. Concerned, Mario grew more interested in the topic. King wanted to explain more about the wretched canine to Mario.

"Mario… Labolas is somewhat our nemesis." King explained. "He has been like that not only to us… but to multiple other people, too. According to history books that discuss that canine, he overthrew Count Raum I back in 1789."

"1789?" Katelyn asked. "How old is this canine, King?"

"Well, he was born in 1761… so… he would be… 260 years of age. …In human years, that is." King said. "I don't know how many years that would be in dog years."

"I see." Katelyn said.

"But… let us go with you, Katelyn. I want to confront Labolas for what he did to Foofy." King said.

"OK." Katelyn said. "Let's go."

Back with Labolas, who was keeping Foofy the cat locked in a cage high above a poison water pit, he was keeping tight security on the room where he resided. However, when Labolas got word of intruders entering the castle, his guards quickly ceased position and went to take the intruders to jail. But those intruders, identified to be Katelyn and her team, were having none of it anymore.

"Alright, young girl." One of the guards said. "It's over for you."

"Not today, bastard." Katelyn said. As she brandished a sword gifted to her long ago, she quickly took out every single guard. Then, Byleth, who wielded the whip sword the Sword of the Creator, whipped the door and broke it into pieces.

"Byleth Eisner?! How did you do this to me?!" Labolas asked Byleth.

"With a little help from me that was, Labolas Caacrinolaas." Katelyn mentioned. "And all my friends, too!"

"But… but I… I really didn't mean to kidnap Foofy!" Labolas said as he pleaded for forgiveness. "Please, have mercy on me, Katelyn! Have mercy on me!" he cried.

"No, Labolas." Katelyn said. "Now, release Foofy, or flee Cyberville." Suddenly, Bereto the black panther came into the room.

"…Katelyn… what's going on?" Bereto asked. Then, as he stepped on a red "X" marked on the floor of the castle, he was trapped in one of Labolas' expert traps.

"Ah, ah!" Labolas laughed. "Fell into my famous trap, eh? Finally, I succeeded."

"Oh, not Bereto!" Foofy hollered.

"Shut your flap, Foofy!" Labolas hollered. A light brown fossa with strong claws later came into the room to greet Labolas.

"Uh, sir… I hate to interrupt you, but uh… you probably should challenge the team to a challenging fight." The fossa said.

"Ugh!" Labolas grunted. "You are a fumbling idiot!" Labolas later walked over to his own fossa and bit its leg, causing the fossa to die from the poison of Labolas' teeth.

"Labolas…" Katelyn said. "You… you rotten scoundrel!"

"Come and get some of my venomous bites, Katelyn!" Labolas hollered. As Katelyn and Labolas were fighting all evening long, nobody could outmatch the evil canine. Then, Byleth managed to find the keys to Foofy's and Bereto's cages and managed to set them free so they can help Katelyn overcome the fears of Labolas after the two felines saw that she was being threatened by him.

"You have been a hero of another tale for too long, Katelyn!" Labolas said. "Now, your time is up!"

Back with Mario, he saw Katelyn's mother and father enter Cyberville along with the US Government, the FBI, and the horse stable owner Rita. Mario told everyone who was apart of the side of the US Government and the FBI to go to the northern castle, which was the location of Katelyn's harsh battle with Labolas. And that's exactly where the FBI and government went.

"Come on!" Rita hollered.

"There's not time to waste!" one FBI agent said.

As the soldiers and other people reached their destination, Labolas was about to be taken down by Katelyn. When Katelyn turned around, all she saw were guns pointed at Labolas.

"Alright, Labolas." A US Government soldier said. "Your time's up."

"It's time out for you, Labolas." An FBI agent said.

"No… please… please don't kill me!" Labolas said as he begged to survive.

"Say good night, you damn, dirty bastard." Katelyn said in Labolas' ear. And so, Labolas was struck down by Katelyn, and his life was soon ended. Katelyn later listed him as the worst villain in the history of Cyberville wartimes.

"He's… dead…" Foofy said. "Oh, I hope he doesn't come back to kidnap me..."

Suddenly, Labolas' voice was heard in the open sky. He later came back to life after black magic was induced on him. He later flew away from Cyberville and returned to his home in Bran, Transylvania after he told Katelyn and her friends that they would pay for his suffering. Katelyn later said to Labolas that he would account for his numerous crimes he committed in Cyberville.

"I'm pretty sure that the wretched and damned canine will return to his home in Transylvania." An FBI agent said. "We shall see what the guards think of his wretched and inappropriate behavior towards a holy and famous creation of yours, Katelyn."

"I thank you for your support, my good gentleman of the Federal Bureau of Investigation." Katelyn said. Suddenly, the daytime returned to Cyberville after Labolas' departure. Mario later came over to thank Katelyn for her services to her famous creation and its people the creation inhabits.

"You are most welcome Mario." Katelyn said. "In fact, I could not have defeated Labolas without your help."

"Now come." Mario said after he let out a laugh. "The people of Cyberville want to hear the words of you and your pet tiger, Stripes."

"Wait a second… they want to hear words from me... and Stripes?!" Katelyn asked. "Ah… you can't ask me to present a speech, Mario… you as the captain of Super Smash Bros. and the so-called mayor of Cyberville have done enough for me already."

"Mario knows this, Katelyn." Byleth said. "But think about it. The people want to hear you talk to them about your efforts into stopping Labolas Caacrinolaas. And they even want to hear the words from you about those many months ago when you first came to Cyberville to stop Bowser and Sephiroth and the other Super Smash Brothers villainous fighters."

"You really want Stripes and me to give a speech, Mario?" Katelyn asked Mario.

"Of course, Katelyn." Mario responded. "Now go. The people are willing to hear what you have to say!" And so, Katelyn stepped forth with Mario to give out her final speech before her departure back to the real world.
