Iam back again. Thank you all for being patient, and I hope to develop a regular schedule for uploading.

The Next Day

I woke to the screaming of my alarm clock. The clock read 4:00 am. The beeping finally started to get annoying. I slapped the button on the top of the clock and got up grudgingly. I moved toward my shower to finish waking up. I turned on the shower letting the room fill with steam. I walked into the shower, and let the warm water roll over me.

As I stood there in the shower letting the warm water roll over me, I reminisced about past times.

Flashback 3 years Zabuza Hideout

I stood hesitantly in the center of the training room. Fear started to creep into my mind as I could hear my seven masters slowly move around me.

A firm voice brought me back to reality. "Shenlo! You must concentrate. If you do not then we will deem you unworthy as a candidate to carry on our legacy. You must concentrate, focus your senses." Zabuza spoke.

Nodding, I focused. I let the sounds, smells, tastes, and visual representations of things flood over me. I could ever so slightly feel the atmospheric changes of the room when people moved. Suddenly, I heard the roar of fire, the shifting of the earth, the crackle of lightning, the running of water, and the dancing of wind, flare up behind me. Soon a couple more sounds could be heard. I identified one, as a kunai, another as a shuriken, and the last as a senbon, covered in a slight watery substance.

I moved my arm which caused the earth to move with my arm. I moved the earth to cover my body, and the fire and water to take care of the senbon. Meanwhile, I was using the plant life around me to help determine from whom they were thrown.

I counted off the things I knew. Zabuza spoke first, objects were thrown in order of a kunai, shuriken, and senbon. Zabuza usually would throw his sword at me. Ameduri specialized in senbon. Jinin most often used kunai, and Mangetsu used shuriken most times.

I felt the presence of two people in front of me, and two behind me. Thinking about it, Ameyuri, Jinin, and Mangetsu threw objects at me, so they had to be near the edge of the room.

Which left me to decide who was in front and behind me.

I could pick up the different tones of breathing around me. Fubuki tended to have a scratchy tone to his breathing, but it was almost at a quiet level. Zabuza's breathing tended to be smooth and fluid despite his taped mask. Kushimare usually was a quiet breather, and his tone was usually dull and lifeless. Jinpachi was a loud breather and tended to be scratchy as well.

I heard a slight rustling sound coming from my front right side as if someone has shifted their weight. I rummaged through my memory and determined it to be Zabuza, as his large sword would cause him to regularly change his weight position.

Gathering all of my findings I came to a conclusion.

"Zabuza you are in front of me on my right side. I determined this through your smooth and fluid breathing, and your attempt at a subtle change of weight. Ameyuri, Jinin, and Mangetsu are near the edge of the room. I figured this out as The order of weapons thrown was a Kunai, Shuriken, and Senbon. Jinin is near the painting of the fourth mizukage on it. Mangetsu is ten feet from Jinin, and Ameyuri is on the opposite side of the room, near the weapons rack. Kushimare is in front of me to my left, your breathing is dull and lifeless, and too quiet, which happens to be perfect for some methods of assassination. Jinpachi is behind me to my right, your loud and scratchy breathing is too obvious. Fubuki you are behind me to my left, your breathing was quiet but still scratchy. Now then let us resume our sparring match.

Flashback end

I tuned back into consciousness and turned the shower off. I commanded my wind element to lightly wrap around my body and dry myself off. I got back out to my main room. Looked around lost for a little bit, then remembered I needed to get dressed. Walking to my room, I opened the door and walked to my closet, which was hidden in the wall where a bookcase was. I soon walked out dressed in a full black bodysuit that showed off my muscular swimmer's body. Over the black suit, I wore a gray tank top that stopped around my mid stomach, showing off the lower half of my abs. I wore a dark grey pair of shorts with my kunai/shuriken pouch on my right leg, my senbon pouch on my left. My throwing knives were sheathed in small slits of cloth on the sides of my chest. I slipped on a pair of tactical boots that were open-toed and went up to mid-calf. Strapping my kusarigama to my right hip, my naginata to my back, and Ryujin Jakka to my left hip. I walked to my front door after grabbing a scroll with sealed boxes of premade Bentos. I opened the door and walked out. I closed the door and donned my black hannya mask.

I turned to view the streets of Konoha. I noticed that few people were up and about. I started making my way to training ground 44, which I had heard was more commonly known as the Forrest of Death. I walked through the streets getting stares of fear and curiosity. I ignored them for the most part. I mindlessly walked toward my destination, lost in thought.

I was brought back to reality when I heard a scream that pierced the air. I stood for a moment trying to figure out if the scream was real or not. I listened for a moment, as the lingering of an echo reached my ears. I quickly realized that it was in fact real.

I expanded my senses to help find where the scream originated. I followed the lingering echo. After a few minutes, I found the origin of the scream. I stood in a crouching position on top of a building overlooking a dark alley. (think Itachi's crouch on the pole before the Uchiha massacre).

What was happening before me was utterly despicable. It was a man forcing himself upon a woman after a failed mugging.

My vision started to go red as my anger rose.

I made some hand signs in the order of Ox, Snake, Ram. With a spike of chakra, a wall of mist surrounded the man. I started to leak my ki. The man stood paralyzed a fearful expression on his face. With a flash, I was on the ground behind the man. I held the handle of my kusarigama in my right hand, I flooded the blade with wind chakra and made a downward diagonal cut across the man's back. Cutting from the man's right shoulder down to his left hip. I put my weapon back on its sheathe on my right hip. I grasped the woman's hand and shunsinned to the nearest medical branch.

After our disappearance, the man's chest and part of his abdominal region fell to the ground. Spilling his innards on the ground. Soon a four-man squad of anbu was surrounding the body. They were mostly clueless as to how this would happen and left, to report to the Hokage.

After making sure the woman was okay and was medically healthy, I shunsinned to training ground 44. Where I arrived to see Raorin, Yakumo, Yamato-sensei, and Yugao-sensei, standing near one of the gates.

Yamato spoke first, "Where were you Shenlo? Why were you late."

"Sensei, I have no excuse as to why I was late but I shall let you know that I was almost in time to prevent a horrible deed. I was on my way here when I heard a scream from a woman, who was being mugged. When I arrived at the situation, I learned that she not only was getting mugged, but the mugger was forcing himself upon the woman. In my anger, I killed the man and left his corpse there. I took the woman to the hospital and made sure she was okay." I informed my sensei's.

Yamato looked slightly shocked, Yugao looked proud. Raorin looked slightly horrified, and Yakumo looked confused.

"Yugao-sensei, what does it mean for a man to force himself upon a woman?" Yakumo asked.

Raorin, Yamato-sensei, and I's faces turned to one of anger, and disgust. Yugao-sensei looked uncomfortable and angry, but nonetheless leaned down and whispered it into Yakumo's ear.

A moment later Yakumo looked angry and disgusted as well.

"Okay let's quickly recap the objectives of this test. You have to track us to the center of the training ground, avoiding any traps along the way. You have to take three objects from us, one for each of you. Afterward, you must spend a single night in the training ground defending yourself from the dangerous animals that live in the forest. Then you must make your way to the fence. Let us begin."

We stood in two lines. Yamato-sensei and Yugao-sensei stood in front of us. I stood in between Raorin and Yakumo. Our sensei's took off running into the Forrest.

"In twenty seconds we will go," I spoke.

The other two nodded in agreement. Twenty seconds later we ran after our sensei's.

I bellowed into the training ground as we began running after them.

"Let the test begin!"
