Timeskip Four Days, Day of the First mission

I woke to the sound of my alarm ringing. Oh, how I hated the damn thing. I got up and to the shower quickly, slightly excited for the day.

As I showered I went on a mental recap of the last few days.

Construction started. We are currently staying on the ground floor, the other residents staying at the nearby hotel while the complex is under construction. Sagomuri-san told me that he would have the construction done in under a month. The candy shops and restaurants were almost finished surprisingly. The foundation for the bathhouses was set, the same as the pool. The casino was still being planned out in the method of building. I met with the bank to authorize the transactions of these purchases.

Naruto's progress in Taijutsu had skyrocketed thanks to the Shadow Clone Technique, the same as his chakra control. I started him on Fuinjutsu, the wonderful art of seals. He was getting faster at the physical exercises, so I doubled the numbers and made him wear a one hundred pound weighted vest, and forty-pound weights on his arms and legs. Soon, I will be able to start him on Nin and Gen jutsu, he just needs to master water walking, with the level of walking up a waterfall and then we can start. If he is interested I will have him go to the hospital and train to be a medic with enough training to stabilize a person to get them to better medical aid. I also started Naruto on learning Kenjutsu. I told him that he should ask the Hokage for his inheritance, the objects he could carry at least.

Training with Raorin and Yakumo is going better than I thought it would. We all went out for lunch yesterday to this place called Ichiraku Ramen. It was alright, not great but decent.

Flashback Yesterday Lunch

"So where are we going again?" I asked slightly bored.

"Ichiraku Ramen, your roommate Naruto comes here constantly," Yugao-sensei said.

"You let the dead-last live with you? Damn, that must suck." Raorin commented.

"He is only dead-last due to the fact that his learning was sabotaged. He doesn't have parents or a role model, and the only social aspect of his life was running from mobs. I tutor him in the arts of the shinobi way, also let him stay with me because he was living in the red light district. The farthest you can get from the academy. His apartment was broken in so bad that the door didn't shut, the windows had been replaced so many times the glass from previous break-ins had turned black. Burn marks were scorched all along with the ceilings and walls, mold and moss grew in places that shouldn't. Villagers overpriced for food that was rotten, they wouldn't sell him anything else, or they wouldn't serve him at all." I paused letting that sink in. "I would say that if he hadn't left the village or turn traitor all ready then nothing would. He has faced more than most and less than others. I can relate to him a little. Not a lot, but the connection is there. We were born near the same time, both our parents died on the night he was born. I've never had a parent or guardian or a role model at least until I was seven. Both Naruto and I have faced discrimination and violence from the villagers. Do not think that just because you come from noble and famous clans that you can't get discriminated against. After all Naruto's last name is Uzumaki. Originating in the village hidden in the whirlpools, or tides, more commonly called Uzushiogakure. The First Hokage's wife was an Uzumaki. The village was one of our allies in the second shinobi war, it was destroyed after we couldn't send aid or risk of getting invaded. It was destroyed by a combined army of Kiri, Kumo, and Iwa, It took three nations to take out a nation smaller than Suna." I paused taking a breath. I continued a second later, "It was said the average Genin from Uzushio had the chakra reserves of an average Jounin. The jounin and chunin of Uzushio were so formidable that it took squadrons of Jouin to take them down. The people of Uzushio were also amazing swordsmen and seal masters. Konoha has only had four seal masters in its entire history. Currently, we only have one official seal master. I am also adept in fuinjutsu, possibly better than our current seal master, but he is too busy running a spy organization to test me. Anyway, back to the topic, why must we get ramen? Why not sushi, or maybe dango?" I ranted and ended with annoyance.

"Well in order, because Yamato is paying. Two, I don't want you all to meet my friend Anko yet. Also Shenlo how do you know so much about Naruto's past and clan?" Yugao asked.

Yamato looked surprised that he was paying but accepted the fact after receiving a glare from Yugao.

"Well, that's because I lived and grew up with him before I got permission from Lord Third to leave the village for five years. When I was younger I was violently assaulted for living with Naruto, or as the villagers had taken a liking to calling him the demon brat. At the age of four, a drunken man had pulled me into an ally way and gouged six marks onto my face, three on each cheek. To represent my association with Naruto." I spoke. Yamato, Yugao, Raorin, and Yakumo all stood around me horrified. I pulled off my hannya mask and gripped the top of my half mask.

I could hear the sharp intake of breath coming from the four people in front of me as I pulled the mask down. I held the hannya mask in my right hand down at my waist. Yugao was the first person to hug me in tears.

Yugao spoke in a teary voice. "Do you have any other scars?"

"Yes, some from the villagers and some from when I was absent from the village," I spoke. "Come let's continue to the ramen shop. Enough of the depressing talk."

Walking along we continued to the shop. A few minutes later we walked in.

Yugao called out, "Good afternoon, Teuchi-san, Ayame-san. I hope we aren't bothering you."

An old man and a younger woman walked out of the back. "Not at all Yugao-san. Ah, long time no see Yamato-san. Now, who are the ones with you?" The man asked.

"This is Raorin Shimura, Yakumo Kurama, and Shenlo Otsutsuki." Yamato responded.

"Ah, I see, your genin students eh? Well then, what can I get for you all? Will it be one bill or separate?" Teuchi-san asked.

"One bill, please. I will get pork ramen, with extra pork." Yamato began.

"A large bowl of shrimp ramen please," Yugao spoke.

"Beef ramen please," Yakumo said.

"Pork ramen please," Raorin spoke.

"Buldak-bokkeum-myeon please," I said. (Translates to fire noodles in Korean.)

Teuchi nodded and popped back into the kitchen to get the orders ready.

"So Shenlo anything exciting happen recently?" Yugao asked curiously.

"Actually yes, I bought my entire apartment complex and the surrounding plots of land around it. I now own about twenty blocks of land. I'm actually in the process of having my plans being built. I'm extending the apartment building by nine floors, and a whole lot of stores, a restaurant, bar, liquor store, a small casino, bathhouses, and even a swimming pool. I plan to make a lot of jobs for the construction and then employ a lot of people. I'm going to eventually transform the redlight district into another civilian district by bettering the lives of the people that live in it." I say.

Raorin and Yakumo looked surprised that I own land.

Yamato spoke, "That is enough work to employ most of Konoha's civilian working force."

"I know. I'm making Konoha not only the top military power in the world, but I'm going to make it the top economic power as well." I spoke.

Before we could continue, Ayame-san brought out our food.

We began to eat, I did my best to shield my face so as to keep the villagers from recognizing the scars on my face.

Flashback end

Raorin despite his lack of social awareness in most cases is actually a decent person. The same with Yakumo. However when they start making fun of the person I grew up with then things will start to happen. I might consider offering to train Raorin and Yakumo so that we won't have any open holes in our team.

I had also made two hundred shadow clones go to the ninja library to look for metal release ninjutsu. I had been stopped only once, that was before the person who had stopped me knew that I was a clan head.

The metal release didn't have any specific jutsu premade. Rather than only a few nameless ninjas have been recorded wielding it, the user can only transfer the density and shape, and size of metal using their chakra. I was excited to make some jutsu for the release.

On another side note, I had an even larger group of clones finally study the techniques that I had taken from the scroll of sealing. I had mastered the Bringer of Darkness jutsu and the Rasengan and the blood clone. I also was in the middle of working towards mastering the Hiraishin jutsu(flying thunder god jutsu or flying Raijin jutsu). I had also begun trying to add my elements to the Rasengan most of my attempts had ended violently.

Taking myself out of my thoughts I got out of the shower. I brushed my teeth, did the necessary facial washing, and proceeded to get dressed. I dressed in a grey spandex bodysuit. Over it, I wore a black Tanktop stopping just below my pectoral muscles. I had my throwing knives sheathed in the spandex suit. I had on a pair of black shorts, with the pouches of kunai and shuriken in one, and the senbon in the other. In a seal on my right wrist I stored my exploding tags and in another right beside the first seal I stored ninja wire. I wore my open-toed boots again. I applied the half mask and put on the hannya mask.

I sheathed the Naginata on my back like always, the same with the Kusarigama. My broadsword, Ryuujin Jakka I carried next to the Naginata. Taking a shuriken out I stretched it out very wide and tall, and melded it into my clothing, acting as sort of an extra layer of protection.

I walked out into the main area, to see Naruto leaving going to do his morning exercises. I chuckled in happiness, it made me slightly proud to see him dedicated to becoming better.

I grabbed some food in the kitchen and left to the Hokage's office, not before leaving a note for Naruto.

Naruto, I'm out of Konoha on a C-rank mission. I will likely begone for a few days, there is food in the fridge, and extra money on top of the fridge in the cat jar.

-Shenlo

Walking away toward the Hokage's office I started to get slightly excited.

After I arrived at the Hokage Building where I saw Yamato and Yugao waiting for us.

A few minutes later Raorin and Yakumo arrived. We walked up to the Hokage's office.

Yamato knocked. A short reply was heard. Yamato opened the door and entered. He held the door open as the rest of us entered.

"Ah, Team eleven. What can I do for you today?" The old Hokage asked.

"Hokage-sama, we are here for a C-rank mission," Yugao spoke.

"Very well, I have here a termination mission here. It will be good to have your students blooded immediately rather than later." He spoke.

"Yes sir, when do we leave?" Yamato asked.

"Now if possible." He responded handing Yamato the mission scroll.

Nodding we all quickly left. While running toward the eastern gates, Yamamoto briefed us on our mission.

"Okay, standard bandit camp. Around thirty to forty-five bandits. It's unknown whether or not they have access to their chakra or not. It has been confirmed that there have been women and children taken hostage. The camp is sixty clicks east of here." He finished.

Soon, we left the gates of Konoha, running quickly among the branches of the trees.

After an hour or two we finally reached our destination. The bandit's camp was in a ravine. We had traveled up the ravine and was looking down on the camp. It was larger than expected, our information was slightly off. Instead of forty-five bandits, it was ninety.

"Sensei, I can try to sense if any of them have access to their chakra," I spoke.

"Do it," Yamato responded.

Nodding, I did so. A few moments later, I spoke, "There aren't any above academy chakra levels, so we should be good on the front of shinobi arts using chakra." I spoke.

The camp was big, bigger than your average bandit camp, there were multiple rows of tents. Large cages could be seen in some locations. Naked women and children could be seen, some bloody and bruised, others malnourished and disheveled. The bandits looked filthy and ugly.

Yamato, Yugao, Raorin, and Yakumo went down to approach the guards from the front.

I waited for Yamatos signal as one of the bandit guards went to talk with them. I saw Yamato quickly draw his sword and slice the neck of the guard. I quickly made some hand signs and quietly called out "Ninpou: Bringer of Darkness." Suddenly all the guards and bandits stumbled around in darkness only perceived by themselves.

Applying chakra to my feet I started walking down the side of the ravine. I made more hand seals and brought forth a decent amount of chakra, a moment later and there were now fifty clones of myself. My clones and I ran down the ravine wall, all of us swinging the scythe end of our kusarigama in circles quickly. We ran through the camp killing any and all bandits we could. At some point, the tents had caught fire. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a bandit standing over the unconscious form of Yakumo.
Anger welling up in my body, I ran toward the man. I jumped through the air and kicked him away. I spun the kusarigama in circles and slung the scythe at the man now on the ground. The blade stuck into his head effectively killing him.

I helped Yakumo up.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Y-you just killed that man. I-i-i-i, I think I'm okay, you can go now. Help the others." She said, obviously scared.

Nodding, I ran back into the flaming mess of fire and blood.

Forty minutes later the scrambling bodies had died down. Yamato and Yugao were working on putting out the flames with water jutsus. Raorin and Yakumo lay exhausted on the ground, shell shocked from having taken their first life. I was up and about, freeing the captives.

It made me angry to see this happen to people. After freeing all the captives I provided metal clothing for them made out of my shuriken. I walked over to Yamato and Yugao and spoke, "The captives are free and clothed. I will take care of the flames, go take care of Raorin and Yakumo."

The two Jounin nodded and walked away from the flames. I held up my arms and commanded the two elements of water and wind to attack the flames. After a few minutes of concentrating the flames had died out. Allowing the darkness that had crept on us to take over. The stary night sky peeking in at us through the top of the ravine.

After another hour we started our journey back to Konoha leaving a trail for the captives to follow.

After we arrived in Konoha, Yamato and Yugao left to report the mission's success. I went to my apartment.

I opened the door to find Naruto sitting on the ground looking over his fuinjutsu notes, with multiple sheets of paper with scribbled handwriting on them. Others were complete and some not so much.

I cleared my throat. "Hey Naruto, I'm back from my mission are you hungry?" I asked.

Naruto jumped in surprise. "Don't scare me like that!" He yelled. "Yes, I am. How was your mission?" He asked, with a slight blush of embarrassment.

"It went well, it was a bandit extermination mission. I'll make some food, just let me get dressed first," I said.

Naruto nodded and sat at the bar in the kitchen.

I walked into my bedroom, stripped off my clothing down to my undergarments, and put on a simple baggy t-shirt, and a pair of shorts. I walked back out feeling refreshed after being in those clothes for so long.

I made teriyaki chicken with rice and a small seaweed salad for Naruto and me. We ate together quickly before clocking out for bed.
