The next day, Ash woke up at around 8 am. He noticed that his breakfast was placed on a table right next to him. Yut-Lung was already awake with a book in his hand and some tea.
"早上好 (Good Morning)" Yut-Lung said.
"早上好" Ash replied.
Yut-Lung's eyes widened at how great Ash said it.
"Y-you? You can speak Chinese?" Yut asked.
"I only know a few words. Shorter taught me that one." Ash said.
Yut-Lung smiled sadly. So did Ash.
"Are you gonna eat your breakfast?" Yut-Lung asked.
"It's probably cold by now." Ash said.
"The nurse brought it like less than 5 minutes ago, so he brought it just in time." Yut-Lung said.
"Oh. I hope it's good, then!" Ash said as he grabbed his tray.
Yut-Lung grabbed his tray as well and the two young men ate breakfast together.
The nurse came in. He looked like Blanca if he were 15 years younger.
He took their vitals and gave Yut-Lung some paperwork.
"So, Mr. Lee, you're going to be discharged tonight. Mr. Callenreese, you'll be discharged in two more days." He said.
"Two days? Why?" Ash asked.
"The doctor wants to keep you in observation and he also wants to make sure that your wound is healing and getting the proper care." The nurse said.
Yut-Lung thanked the nurse and smiled sweetly at him. He also fluttered his eyelashes at him. The nurse knew that Yut-Lung was very attractive and flirty, but he did not keep up with his advances because of Yut-Lung's age.
"I'll come by and check on the both of you later." He said.
"Ok. See you!" Yut-Lung said.
Ash giggled.
"He's hot, isn't he?" Yut-Lung said.
"He is. But he also reminds me of Blanca when he was younger." Ash said.
"Was Blanca that hot when he was younger?" Yut-Lung asked.
"I wouldn't say hot, but he was kind of cute." Ash said.
As soon as the two young men were finishing their breakfast, Charlie and Jenkins came to visit.
"Hello gentlemen." Jenkins said.
"Hi." Ash and Yut said.
"We were able to get your case assigned back to us, Ash. And Yut-Lung, we were also assigned to your case. If you cooperate with us, you won't suffer any penalties because you're also considered a victim." Charlie said.
Yut-Lung was scared.
"We heard it all from Sing. We also know that you want to leave this lifestyle behind and pursue a new one. We can help you, . The best thing you and Ash can do right now is to press charges on the Corsican Mafia, instead of the now defunct Dino Golzine.
Yut-Lung agreed.
"The worst the judge will make the both of you do is to get therapy since you guys are victims.," Jenkins said.
"It's better than going to jail." Yut-Lung said.
Ash was still thinking about what to do and if this was the right move.
"The both of you and Mr. Soo Ling are also being referred to a victims of crime reparations unit. They're going to help you get your lives back " Charlie said.
"Do I have to talk to a shrink? How's that gonna help?" Ash asked.
"I know that it might sound a bit intimidating and doesn't sound like much help, and I know that especially for you it'll be difficult to trust a total stranger after everything you e gone through, but this can help you heal." Jenkins said.
Ash was a bit reluctant about going to therapy.
"Anyway, we've heard that you're getting discharged in two days, Ash, and you're getting discharged tonight Yut-Lung?" Charlie said. Both young men nodded.
"That's great. And then Sing texted me to let that he's picking you up. But the three of you are going to start a new life." Charlie said.
A social worker came in.
"Guys, this is Simon. He's going to be your social worker." Charlie said.
"'Ello, guys!" Simon said cheerfully.
Ash and Yut-Lung couldn't keep their eyes off of Simon. He was a very attractive man. He was tall, slender, had Medium-Long blond hair in a half man bun, and big, beautiful blue eyes. He looked like a model.
"He's hot." Ash and Yut-Lung thought.
"I'm very much looking forward to working with you guys and Mr. Soo-Ling. "
They melted with that hot British accent.
"Hi." They said as they tried not to blush.
"Oh, and by the way Ash, I've brought your cell phone. Sing couldn't bring it back, but here it is." Charlie said as he handed the cell phone back to Ash.
Ash was a bit weary hoping they didn't put a tracker on it. He also turned it on and saw a couple of missed texts and calls from Eiji.
"Eiji..." Ash thought.
"Mr. Lee, I'll be meeting with you tomorrow and Mr. Callenreese, would it be ok to meet with you here tomorrow as well?" Simon asked.
"Absolutely." Ash said as his face slightly turned red. Yut-Lung was too busy staring at him and undressing Simon with his eyes.
"My husband is also going to be your counselor." Simon said.
"Of course, he's taken!" Ash thought. Yut-Lung was crying inside.
They noticed wedding band on his finger as well, as if they needed more confirmation that this sexy social worker was taken.
"Well, It was nice meeting you. I can't wait to start working with you guys tomorrow. We're going to do our best to help you guys get back your feet again and live new lives. Isn't that right, Charlie?" Simon said.
"Definitely." Charlie reaffirmed.
"I'll be seeing you guys tomorrow, then! Bye now!" Simon said.
"Bye Simon!" Ash said.
"See you tomorrow, Simon!" Yut-Lung said.
Charlie couldn't help but giggle after Simon left.
"What's wrong, Charlie?" Ash asked.
"I had a feeling you two would like him. He's cute, huh?" Charlie laughed.
"He's gorgeous." Yut-Lung said.
"I'm telling Nadia that you're checking out guys! Don't wanna piss off your wife, do you?" Ash joked.
Charlie laughed.
"Well, I better get going, guys! By the way, the penthouse you bought Ash, and the Lee mansion are under investigation, so you guys are moving to a new place." Charlie said.
"I know. And I got it all taken care of. I got us a luxury penthouse. You'll love it. I was lucky enough to buy it before they froze my bank account. We're gonna be roommates." Yut-Lung said.
"Actually, your bank account is no longer frozen. You get to keep your money. We discovered that Dino Golzine and his men killed Wang-Lung." Charlie said.
"That's good. I'm glad that I'm no longer a suspect." Yut-Lung thought.
"It was him?" Yut-Lung said, pretending he didn't know anything.
Just when Charlie was about to answer, Sing walked in with some food.
"Oh, Chang Dai! That means I better get going. My wife is waiting!" Charlie said as he straighted his jacket.
Ash whistled.
"Go get her, tiger!" Ash said.
Ash, Sing, and Yut-Lung grinned. Charlie blushed.
"Please tell Nadia I said hi." Ash said.
"I'm also gonna shower real quick. But thanks for stopping by Charlie." Ash said.
"We'll see you guys!" Charlie said as he left.
"Bye Charlie" Sing, Yut-Lung, and Ash said.
Ash was trying to get up carefully.
"Ash, I think we should get a nurse to help you shower. You haven't fully healed yet." Sing said.
"True." Ash said as he groaned in pain.
"Let's eat, guys! I'm starving!" Sing said as he pulled out some takeout from Chang Dai and handed Yut and Ash their food and chopsticks.
Ash grabbed his phone and texted Eiji back.
"Hey Eiji, I'm sorry for not getting back to you earlier, but Charlie and Sing just got my cellphone back and brought it to me. I hope you're ok. I miss you." He texted.
"Sing... Yue... Thank you for saving me, guys." Ash said.
Sing quickly hugged Ash.
"I'm glad that you're still here. And you know what .. think of this as God giving you, and Yue...a second chance." Sing said.
Yut-Lung smiled.
"Now let's not fuck this up, guys!" Sing said while looking at Ash and Yut straight in the eyes.
"Got it." Ash said. The three guys are their dinner and then a nurse walked in to check on Ash and Yut.
"Mr. Lee, your discharge paperwork is taking a while, so it looks like you might be discharged tomorrow. And Mr. Callenreese, the doctor determined that your wound is healing better than expected, so if you progress over night, you could also get discharged tomorrow." The nurse said.
"Sweet. And what about showering? Can I do that on my own?" Ash asked.
"You're taking sponge baths for a week or two. And you can still wash your hair, but might need assistance. You might be able to get your stitches removed next week, so we don't want to risk infecting the wound." The nurse said.
Ash accepted that and continued eating. The nurse left.
"I guess I'll spend the night with you guys to make sure that you two don't kill each other or fuck each other. A little birdie told me that he heard moans and the bed creaking." Sing said jokingly.
Yut-Lung and Ash glared at Sing.
"God, I'm just joking! Shit! But it must be fucking hard to control yourself when the both of you are hot and your room mate is hot!" Sing said and laughed.
Yut-Lung turned red. Ash giggled.
"We're gonna be roommates, so we have to get along!" Sing said.
"That's true..." Ash said.
Ash's phone rang. It was Eiji.
Ash answered the phone.
"Eiji!"
