Betty

FP left the house around eleven to get to the dock early and stake it out. Alice said she would call work in the moring and have it arranged. Charles argued for awhile about how they shouldn't give in so fast. However the room out voted him as they are more worried about Jugheads life. So Charles left saying something about heading back to the office. Betty stayed in the living room to comb over everything they have learned. Edgar Evernever was back and using Jughead to get back at them. He also was working with a partner who also had motive to take Jughead. The two combined have a grudge against all four people assembled today. It was a tough question to solve because not many people had grudges with all five of them. Betty sat there thinking until a buzz from her phone notified her of a text message. A spark of hope ignited in her heart as she leapt for it and turned the screen on. It was a group text from both Archie and Veronica.

Hey Betty did everything go okay with the call today? Archie had said. She replied, that little spark dying.

I am going to need a favor from the both of you. As soon as the message sent they both read it.

Sure B anything we can do to help just tell us what we have to do.Betty took a deep breath before typing her next message.

Archie we need to use your community center day after next. The kidnapper, Edgar Evernever demands we meet him there at 5pm. All three of us.B if you know who it is why is FP not doing anything about it?Jughead gave us a message that he is not working alone. Which means if we take him out that other person could kill Jughead.

The group chat went silent before both agreed to meet her at the comunity center. After setting her phone down Betty sat down on the couch and rubbed at her face. She had cried so much in the past few days and had not slept enough to recover. It was catching up to her as her eye lids became heavy. Knowing being exhausted would not help Jughead Betty headed upstairs to her room. She threw on her pajamas and turned to get in bed. There sitting on the corner of her bed now blood free was Jughead's beanie. She seized it and held it to her chest. It hurt her to see him be forced to not wear it. Betty climbed into bed not releasing the one object she had of Jughead. Her eyes slowly slid shut and she let sleep take her.

Betty opened her eyes to see she was in the room with Jughead. He was shivering in the chair right in front of her. His head still resting on his chest. Betty reaches out to help him but her hand stops short. She looks down to see a shackle around her wrist. She looks up to Jughead again and discovers Edgar is now right beside him. "Well Ms. Cooper now that I have you there is no need for me to keep Mr.Jones." Edgar says before pulling a knife out. Betty screams as he shoves it directly into Jugheads stomach.

Betty jolted upright in her bed gasping for air. She looked around only to find she was back in her room at home. No Jughead to be seen anywhere which seemed to hurt more than the nightmare. Betty climbs out of bed and goes to the bathroom. She then grabs her phone of the charger and heads downstairs. The house is completely silent which means Alice must have gone to work to tell them personally. Betty looked at all the work in the living room and decided she would need a cup of coffee before approaching the case today. After making a cup of coffee Betty Cooper sat on the couch and searched for any clues that bring Jughead home.
