Yut-Lung cried after he learned that Hua-Lung died. Surely, he hated Hua-Lung for what he did to him and his mother, but at the same time, he had a slight unconventional attachment to Hua-Lung and he also had other plans to use him. He was also terrified about the news of the Vietnamese mafia being after him. He decided to leave his former life behind and start a new, normal life, but even that won't save him
Sing and Ash hugged Yut-Lung.
"Although I hate you for what you've done to me and my mother, thank you for helping me in my loneliness. Even though the love was fake and it was all for your pleasure, thank you for allowing me to experience a false love. Even if it was just for a while, brother " Yut-Lung thought.
"I know that you're my kin, but you make my heart flutter." Hua-Lung's words echoed in Yut-Lung's mind.
"Yue, do you need to talk about it?" Ash asked.
"Maybe later I might be able to. I just don't know exactly how to feel. Hua Lung did some horrible things to me and my mother, as did Wang Lung and my other brothers. But Hua-Lung was kind of different." Yut-Lung said.
"I know. And I understand." Ash said.
"We're here if you need to talk, Yue." Sing said.
Ash was sympathetic towards Yut-Lung because he knew that they both lived fucked up lives. At least Ash knew that he was lucky to have a brother like Griffin. Griffin was a good brother. Sadly, Yut-Lung wouldn't be able to boast about having good brothers. Ash knew how the Lee brothers treated Yut-Lung.
"Thank you guys." Yut-Lung said as he went to his room to cry.
He laid on his bed and sobbed. He hated Hua-Lung, so he didn't understand why his death pained him. He didn't know if he should feel relieved or sad.
He remembered the day that his brothers raped and killed his mother right in front of him. Hua Lung was the brother that was holding him. He often debated if this was Hua-Lung's way of torturing him, or if he was protecting him.
Ash knocked on Yut's door.
"Come in." Yut-Lung said as he wiped away his tears.
Ash walked up to Yut-Lung.
"Yue, we've lived somewhat similar lives. I feel like you need someone to talk to about all of this. That's why I'm here." Ash said.
Yut-Lung took a sip of his wine.
"Thanks Ash. Well... I guess I could talk a little. I'm just confused." Yut-Lung said.
"Why are you confused?" Ash said.
"Well, as you know, Hua-Lung died. I hated my brothers very much for what they did to my mother. But Hua-Lung... I think I had a bit of a love-hate relationship with him. Mostly hate, though." Yut-Lung said.
Ash was listening intently.
"I know that this is gonna sound gross but... I've had sex with him many times." Yut-Lung cried.
"I understand. And I'm not gonna judge you for that. I know under what circumstances. Or at least, I can imagine." Ash said.
"I lost my virginity to him. He said that he wanted to be the one to claim me and that he was gonna make me his. He said that I was beautiful and that there are times where he felt in love with me, even though I looked like my mother. The first few times, I didn't want to have sex with him. I hated him and he was my brother." Yue said.
After that, he paused for a bit and sobbed.
"He raped me. Sometimes in front of my other brothers. Sometimes Wang-Lung would have me be a prize for his business partners and he'd sell me to them for a night. There were times where Hua-Lung would claim that he was jealous and he'd join. Sometimes, he'd take over. I would cry whenever Wang Lung's business partners would try to have sex with me and he would tell them that he'll do it instead. Sometimes he would say 'shhhh. I'm going to protect you. Let me protect you, because that's what I'm going to do.' He would fuck me and kiss me. He got married, and instead of spending his wedding night with his bride, he spent it with me. You know what happened on his wedding night, Ash? He got me pregnant and forced me to take an abortion pill. It was the worst day of my life after the day that my brothers killed my mother. I've never felt as sick as I had that day. We didn't think that shit like that could happen because I'm a guy, but apparently the doctors told us that I could get pregnant. I tried to keep it a secret, but when Hua-Lung found out, he beat me up, kicked me in the stomach, and punched my face a couple of times. This happened around my 17th birthday. And you know what he said? 'I'm doing this because you're beautiful and because I love you.' That's what he said. Sometimes, I actually believed that he did love me, and because I've been starved of love, I'd welcome it." Yut-Lung sobbed.
Ash was horrified by what Yut-Lung told him. Sure, stuff like this doesn't faze Ash, but the fact that this was incest did.
Ash hugged Yut-Lung.
"How far along were you?" Ash asked.
"8 weeks." Yut-Lung cried.
"I'm sorry, Yue. But that monster and Wang-Lung are gone, and I think the rest of your brothers are gone too, right?" Ash said.
"They are. All of them." Yut-Lung said.
"You've avenged your mother and your baby. I know that won't bring them back to you, but you did what you had to. I know that you drugged Hua-Lung with Banana Fish. But I won't snitch. That bastard deserved it." Ash said.
Yut-Lung cried in Ash's arms. He felt warmth and he felt like someone finally cared about him. Yut-Lung couldn't help but look into Ash's eyes. He got lost in them. Ash had the most beautiful eyes he'd ever seen. He wanted to kiss Ash. But he knew that Ash didn't love him the way he loved Ash. Ash was in love with Eiji Okumura. He still couldn't help it. He got close and kissed Ash.
Ash didn't know how to react, but he felt so bad for Yut-Lung, he subconsciously kissed him back.
Ash and Yut-Lung realized what they were doing and they both pulled away. Yut cried.
"I'm sorry Ash. I... I have something that you need to know." Yut-Lung cried.
Ash didn't know what to say or do. He felt bad.
"Ash... Ever since they tried to kidnap me in LA, and when I realized that it was you and Shorter Wong that had saved me, I instantly fell in love with you. I'm head over heels in love with you." Yut-Lung cried.
"Wh- what made you...fall in love with me?" Ash said.
"We are so alike. And then you saved me and showed some concern for me. And on top of that, your face. You're so handsome, and you have the face of an angel. And you're so smart. And then don't get me started on your eyes..." Yut-Lung confessed.
Ash really didn't know what to say. Normally, he would've flat-out rejected him. But Ash knew how hurt Yut was and didn't have the heart to hurt him more.
"Yue... I..." Ash said.
"I know. You don't have to tell me. I know that you're in love with Eiji Okumura. And ... It's fine. I already know." Yut-Lung cried softly.
Yut-Lung cried himself to sleep in Ash's arms.
Once Yut-Lung fell asleep, Ash set Yut in bed, tucked him in and wiped away his tears.
