ATM: The Bonehead and the Brain – Seth and the God Girls Strike Back!
Seth and the God girls grow closer while Sasha spends more time with Roman and his family. Hunter deals with the fallout of losing his family's trust and Stephanie and Bayley release the Black Heart Diaries and reveal more than the wrestling world expected.
Chapter Eleven – A Rocky Start
The BayRock Beach House, Malibu, CA
The Rock reviewed his planner and as usual, it was full but he still found time to spend with Bayley who was starting the last stages of her promotion for the Black Heart Diaries that was premiering after Wrestlemania. Now that she was no longer on the WWE roster, Bayley had all this free time to dedicate to her new project that she loved and the Rock was sure Hollywood was going to be very proud of. If the web series was a success, then the movie deal would be a sure thing. All Bayley had to do was convince Seth Rollins to work with her again and after what happened in Aruba, that was not going to be easy.
Still, staying away from Seth Rollins wasn't hard for Bayley. In fact, she was planning on re-connecting with him later on tonight, only in her mind, their collaboration would be much more on the physical side.
"Bayley I hope you don't have plans because I want to take you to a Hollywood party tonight," the Rock said. "Some executives want to meet you to talk about the Black Heart Diaries,"
"Sorry babe I can't go tonight. Sasha just text me, she's pregnant and we're going to celebrate," Bayley said and Rocky turned to her in surprise.
"You're still talking to Sasha, after what happened in Aruba?" he asked her confused. "Why is she not mad at you?"
Bayley ignored her husband and continued to text Sasha Banks, who had invited her and some other wrestlers over to the Sandbox to celebrate her and Bianca's respective pregnancies.
"Don't try to work it out Rocky, it'll just hurt your head," Bayley replied with a smile on her face. "I'm going to see Sasha and I'll talk to Seth while I'm there. He's a big boy – in more ways than one, I'm sure he'll do what's best for business. I mean eventually, after Stephanie wins her case against DX and Hayworth Helmsley takes control of the WWE, Seth will be out of a job and have a lot more time for us to work together,"
"If you're talking about that lawsuit to get the Sandbox back in the McMahon family name, you're wrong if you think DX are just going to roll over and let you take it from them. When it comes to DX and the McMahon family, no fight is over that quick. This is going to be a war, a war I'd rather us not be a part of Bayley," Rocky said.
Bayley shrugged, "Well Stephanie's my friend so I have to take her side but that doesn't mean I can't go celebrate Sasha's new baby. You can go to the party on your own then we can catch up tomorrow," she said casually and Rocky shook his head at being blown off for Sasha Banks.
"How is Seth even letting you see her after what you did to him?" Rocky said and Bayley pocketed her phone and looked around for her shoes.
"Because like I said, Seth's on thin ice now that Hayworth Helmsley has joined forces with Stephanie McMahon. The last thing he wants to do is make waves and if I say jump, he's going to ask "How high?" or he'll be sorry," Bayley said and Rocky shook his head.
"Bayley, I'd really prefer if you go to this party with me and celebrate with Sasha some other time," Rocky said.
"No can-do hombre," Bayley said and she kissed Rocky on the cheek, "I'll see you in the morning,"
"Bayley," Rocky said but before he could say another word, she was gone. Beth Hardy had Transcended her to the Sandbox for the party and Rocky was left standing in his new beach house all alone.
The Sandbox
Charlotte Flair jumped up and down with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair in celebration while the guests milled around in the palatial garden, talking about the new babies and the Wrestlemania line up. Now that Bianca was having a baby, Becky Lynch was a shoe-in for a match for the Women's Championship. The Man had news of her own but her engagement to Finn Balor was yet to be announced. After what Bianca had told her about Beth Hardy, the God girl's eyes were locked on the green-eyed menace and some how, Becky had to get the sapphire necklace from around Sasha Banks' neck. With her new engagement ring hidden away and Finn Balor at a deliberate distance, the Man went to work and Operation Save Seth from Beth went into action.
Lita watched as Becky seemed to be sidling up to the Boss as the new Mommy-to-be was being showered with congratulations by Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles. Sasha's now black hair was pulled across her right shoulder and there appeared a little spider that caught Charlotte and AJ's attention.
"Oh look, there's a spider on your neck," Charlotte said to Sasha.
"Oh that's just Summer," Sasha said referring to the super poisonous pink and blond haired spider that had befriended her last year. "She's just wants to be part of the celebration,"
"Wow, I haven't seen Summer is months. Isn't that crazy Professor still mad at Hunter for taking Summer, Justice and the other one away from her?" AJ Styles asked.
"If the worst Professor Kendrick can do is date Kenny Omega, than I don't have anything to worry about," Sasha said and she turned and saw Becky hovering by her shoulder. "Is there a problem Becky?" Sasha asked the Man with irritation. "Why are you standing so close to me?"
Becky put her hands up innocently, "I'm sorry Sasha I don't mean to make you feel uncomfortable but it looks like Summer's about to get stuck in your necklace,"
"Oh no, quick take it off, help her!" Sasha cried out and Becky unfastened the necklace.
"There you go, all better," Becky said putting the necklace in her pants pocket. Summer was nowhere near the necklace, Becky just needed to get it off of the Boss so Beth Hardy didn't use it to shape-shift herself into Seth's bed tonight. "Crisis averted. I think I'll just hold onto this necklace until the party's over, just so Summer doesn't have anymore close calls,"
"Good job Becky, you're a good friend," AJ Styles said to Becky Lynch impressed.
"She's the best!" Charlotte agreed and they raised their glasses to Becky who joined them in a toast while Sasha humbly admitted that Becky had finally done something good for a change.
"Thanks for looking out for me," the Boss said to Becky with a rueful smile and Becky hugged her tightly.
"Anytime Boss, I will always look out for you," Becky said and Sasha felt her sincerity and was touched by her warmth towards her. It made a difference from all the ice water she'd been pouring over her and Seth over the last month. It was exactly what she wanted from the Man and she smiled at Becky gratefully.
"I want more of this from you Becky; I want you to be a bad-a** but I also want your love and support, give it to me more often please? I'm having another baby and I'm going to need you a lot more when the baby's born,"
The Man frowned at Sasha; "It's not like I'm the baby's godmother or anything," Becky said and Sasha really smiled at her.
"Who said you're not the baby's godmother?" Sasha said and Becky's mouth dropped in shock.
"Are you serious?! You want me to be your baby's godmother?" Becky said and Sasha nodded.
"But don't say anythng, I haven't asked Seth yet but I'm sure he'll be fine with it. I want you, Charlotte, Alexa and Bianca to be my baby's godmothers, oh and Bayley too. Let's just keep it between us for now," Sasha said and it took everything in the Man's body to keep herself from yelling at Sasha for wanting Bayley to be included in the godmother list.
"I'd be honoured to be your baby's godmother Banks," Becky said with restraint and the Boss and the Man hugged each other while Seth looked on with a big smile on his face.
"God bless you Becky," he said before turning to Roman, "finally, the God girls are getting along with my wife. I couldn't have asked for a better party,"
Roman nodded and he was about to agree with Seth until Bayley showed up looking eleven times more hotter than the last time he saw her in Aruba. Malibu clearly bought out the best in Bayley's body, as a person, she pretty much still sucked.
"Oh, don't look now but Bayley just showed up," Roman said and Seth turned his head and saw Bayley coming towards his wife. "I said don't look!" Roman rebuked Seth, who suddenly felt nauseous.
"I need to go the bathroom," he said weakly, "I think I'm going to be sick,"
Roman sighed and walked Seth into the Sandbox to the nearest bathroom. His aversion to Bayley made it impossible for them to be in the same room and the God girls noticed him leaving knowing the reason for his sudden departure right in front of them.
"That's great Bayley, you made Seth leave his own party," Alexa said angrily. "This is supposed to be a celebration, what are you doing here?!"
"I came to wish Sasha and Seth congratulations and you too Bianca!" Bayley said and the God girls noticed Bayley's improved confidence. Sleeping with the Rock and Seth Rollins clearly worked wonders on her complexion.
"I think we should go check on Seth," Charlotte said to the other God girls and they agreed with her and went into the Sandbox to make sure Seth was okay.
"We have got to do something about Seth's aversion to you Bayley. What happened in Aruba was so last week, why is he still acting this way?" Sasha said. "I need you two to be in the same room, especially if you're going to be the baby's godmother,"
"You know there might be something I can do to help with the nausea," Bayley said while waving at Beth Hardy who was talking to Finn Balor on the other side of the garden. "Angela Jericho has this Gift from God that makes people ugly. It can also be used to make people feel really good about themselves, maybe I could ask Angela to cast a spell on Seth that will make him feel good everytime he sees me,"
"How would you do that? The God girls are flanking Seth 24/7, they'd never let Angela Jericho anywhere near Seth," Sasha said and Bayley rubbed her chin thoughtfully.
"Well there is another way, where's the sapphire necklace?" Bayley said.
"Oh, Becky's got it. Summer the spider was getting caught in it so Becky took it off me, she's got it right now," Sasha replied and Bayley's cheeks pulsed.
"I'm gonna need to get that necklace," she said sternly and Sasha furrowed her brow at Bayley.
"Why? Becky's more than capable of looking after it," Sasha said. "Becky's making a serious effort to stay on my good side now, she won't let anything happen to the necklace,"
As confident as Sasha was in the Man's intentions, Bayley knew that when it came to the God girls, her plans never worked out. She needed to get the necklace away from Becky so that she could use it to sleep with Seth later on tonight when the party was over. It was a major detail that she didn't see the need to share with Sasha. After all, she wanted Sasha to be happy at her party and she was sure her plans to sleep with Seth was best kept to herself.
"You know I've always thought Becky was a little absent minded when it came to looking after stuff. Remember that time after that house show in Texas, when we went to the drive through, and Becky was supposed to pay and left her purse at the arena?" Bayley said and Sasha laughed at the memory.
"Yeah and when we went back to get it, all the other wrestlers had taken it to a sushi restaurant and had it cooked in tempura batter," Sasha said and they both laughed at the incident, even though Bayley's motive for bringing the sweet memory up was not at all wholesome.
"So, it probably would be best if I look after the necklace. Can you text Becky and ask her to bring it down?" Bayley said and Sasha nodded.
"Okay, I'll go inside and get it from her. I'm sure the God girls don't want you anywhere near Seth right now," Sasha said and she went into the Sandbox while Bayley smiled to herself.
"I'd love to see them try and stop me," she said and she checked her hair in her phone and counted down the hours 'til her second encounter with her best friend's husband took place.
The East Wing
Bianca Belair looked down from Seth and Sasha's bathroom window at Bayley. Seth's Treasurer of Secrets knew exactly what Bayley was planning, so when Sasha came upstairs to retrieve the necklace from Bayley, Bianca met her at the door to make the interception.
"Boss, what are you doing up here? You should be downstairs enjoying the party," Bianca said.
"Is Seth still throwing up?" Sasha asked and Bianca shook her head.
"He was but then Abiyah healed him, he's not throwing up anymore," Bianca replied and Sasha smiled.
"That's great! Abiyah healed his nausea, that means he can hang out with Bayley and not throw up!" Sasha said and Bianca shook her head at Seth's ignorant wife.
"Sasha, Seth doesn't want to be around Bayley whether he throws up or not. She's still the worst person in the world for him to be around right now," Bianca said and then she remembered what God told her about Beth Hardy. "Well, actually these days she's like the second worst person,"
Sasha frowned, "What do you mean? Is there someone else trying to get with my man that I don't know about?"
Bianca sighed, "Oh yeah and it's not who you think it is," Bianca replied.
"Whoever it is, it is your responsibility as a God girl to make sure that my husband remains loyal to me. If anyone tries to get near him, you better tell me who it is so I can handle that b***, got it?" Sasha said and Bianca said nothing while Sasha headed back to the party.
"Aren't you going to check on Seth?" Bianca asked her.
"Please, he's got you guys and Abiyah to keep him company. I'm going back to the party to have some fun, I'll leave the boring stuff to you and the rest of the God girls," Sasha said and Bianca shook her head.
"There is nothing boring about what your husband is about to go through Sasha," she said to herself and she went to check on Seth.
"Is Sasha here? I thought I heard her voice," Seth asked Bianca as she came back into Seth's bedroom.
"She was here but she went back to the party," Bianca said regretfully, and the God girls sighed at Sasha's lack of concern for her husband's wellbeing.
"I can't go back to the party, not with Bayley here. If Sasha wants to hang with Bayley that's fine, I'm staying right here with you guys," Sasha said with Abiyah pulling at his long black hair.
Becky frowned at Seth, "Are you really going to let Bayley stop you from enjoying your own party?" she said.
"I'd rather hang with you guys seven days a week, twelve months out of the year. You're my friends, I love you guys. Who else would I want to celebrate my first child with?" Seth said and he hugged Roman, "all the people I care about are right here in this room. I don't need anyone else,"
Becky and the rest of the God girls surrounded Seth and they shared in one big group hug along with Roman and Abiyah, who should be asleep with Faith Star in the North Wing of the Sandbox.
It would be the last time they hugged like this for awhile as Operation Save Seth from Beth went into its final stage of execution.
