JugheadKeeping his eyes closed is better than seeing the brutal hallucinations. Since they began they have twisted into darker things. Jughead has watched Archie die by a hooded mans hands more than he could count. Betty is always killed by Edgar Evernever. He tries screaming to stop them but with the gag on it doesn't work. So when Kurtz moved him from the room he didn't pay attention. Jughead was too focused on not listening or seeing the figments of his imagination. Jughead lets his head hang trying to conserve energy to keep in focus. The fading in and out didn't stop and it doesn't help with the hallucinations. Jughead hears a voice close yet it seems so far off with how deep he has buried himself in his brain. It sounds like Kurtz and knowing him was something down right vile. Deciding to dare a look just to see where he might be in the warehouse Jughead opens his eyes. Right below him is the floor to Archie's boxing ring at the community center. Jughead is ready to close his eyes again afraid the hallucinations have gotten worse. Then something strange happens. Someone is kneeling in front of him. They place their hands on his legs very carefully. Then a voice comes through the foggy mess of his brain. "Jughead" Its Betty's voice. Its different from all the hallucinations before. Thinking he must be crazy Jughead lifts his head to look at who is touching him. There he sees Betty looking more worried than ever. Archie and Veronica are right behind her. Worry and relief flood him at the same time and he feels his breathing pick up. Betty moves a hand from his legs to his face. She traces a finger down the side of his face and he focuses on the feeling. It grounds him enough to focus on the reality. He really was here at his friend's community center. His friends were here not hallucinations sent by his own brain to haunt him. Jughead feels the tears slip from his eyes as he looks around at all of them.

"Well that's enough reunion time. Lets get down to business shall we. Red Paladin would you please go grab a table and bring it here." Kurtz says and all Jughead wants to do is tackle the guy. Looking at his legs now he knows there is no chance he could. Archie disappears without a word. Blackout. Archie is unfolding a cheap table and in front of Jughead. Jughead chides himself for not focusing on counting to stay in frame. He starts counting in his head and looks around. Kurtz approaches the table and pulls out something from behind his back. He gracefully places it on the table and backs up so everyone can see. There on the table is the board game box for Griffins and Gargoyles. The room is silent and by the looks on his friends face Jughead knows they feel the same as him. Worried. Angry. All of the events of Penelope flood his mind. Then Penelope herself appears to trace the top of the box with her gloved hand. Jughead snaps his eyes shot and holds them hard until all he can think of is counting. When he opens them everyone has a chair and Betty has moved to sit across the table from him. Its his three friends on the one side. Leaving him and Kurtz on the other. "Everyone knows how to play right? Well this game is going to be a little special. So who goes first. How about... you hell caster." Jughead looks up at Kurtz's hooded face and shakes his head as hard as he can. Which turns out to be a small movement of his head. "Too bad I wasn't asking." Kurtz leans over and unbuckles the strait jacket. After some minor shifting Jughead is free of it and now shirtless. He looks down at himself and sees all the damage. Then he looks up at his friends and sees them all staring. Each of them in their own stages of shock. Kurtz grabs his hand and shoves multiple small items into it. "Now lets began the adventure Hell Caster."
