ATM: The Bonehead and the Brain – Seth and the God Girls Strike Back!

Seth and the God girls grow closer while Sasha spends more time with Roman and his family. Hunter deals with the fallout of losing his family's trust and Stephanie and Bayley release the Black Heart Diaries and reveal more than the wrestling world expected.

Chapter Twenty Two – The Nightmare after 'Mania

BayRock Beach House, Malibu, CA

The Rock invited the WWE and NXT roster over to his beach house in Malibu to celebrate another hugely successful Wrestlemania. Roman Reigns was able to successfully defend the Universal Championship against AJ Styles and Becky Lynch was the new RAW Women's Champion. Seth Rollins and Kenny Omega stole the show with Seth Rollins defeating the former NXT Champion decisively with a Stomp.

Now all talk was on Monday Night RAW and the storylines coming out of 'Mania. DX had some big surprises planned but none of that mattered right now. Shawn and Hunter were more concerned that, by tomorrow, they were both going to be on the unemployment line. Stephanie's lawyers were insisting that DX turnover both the Sandbox and the WWE company over to Stephanie McMahon or they were going to go to court and be sued for a lot of money. Hunter was still convinced that Stephanie was blowing smoke but the roster wasn't so sure. The wrestlers had been through so many of Steph's threats they knew not to take her lightly. Hunter on the other hand wasn't taking her seriously at all, he was much more interested in baby names, namely what Sasha and Bianca would be calling their new babies.

"I am not calling my baby Hunter Jr," Seth said as Bayley gave him something to drink. Shawn watched as Bayley walked over to the Rock with no awkward interaction with Seth.

"Looks like you guys are on good terms again," Shawn said to Seth.

"Quit trying to change the subject Shawn," Hunter said before turning back to Seth. "What's wrong with Hunter Jr?"

"Technically, you already have a Hunter Jr in your family, why would I call my child after your child?" Seth replied.

"Because Sasha will probably come up with something lame like Martini Taylor Rose, Hunter's a name you can print money with!" Hunter argued and New Day covered their faces giving Seth a sympathetic look.

"How have you lived in the Sandbox for this long and survived?" Kofi asked Seth who pointed to the sky and said,

"By the grace of God," and New Day laughed before going to talk to Bayley.

"Congratulations on stealing the show lil brother," Roman said coming over to Seth and they shared a hug. "It was a great match,"

"I'm just glad it's over; the less space I share with Kenny Omega the better," Seth said and Roman looked around for the God Girls, "Where are your girls?" he asked Seth curiously. "There's not a second that goes by when Becky, Charlotte, Alexa and Bianca aren't flanking you,"

"They lost me after the show, I think they're with Sasha," Seth said and Roman could tell this was a source of tension for Seth. The Rollins family was leaving for Saudi Arabia tomorrow but things between Seth and Sasha were far from perfect and it was because Sasha refused to accept the God Girls. "I can't seem to win her over, she hates my girls, even though they've done nothing but try to protect her, protect us, our whole family. I just don't know what else I can say to make her see things differently,"

Roman nodded sympathetically, "Don't worry lil' brother, maybe this move to Saudi Arabia will give your wife a much-needed attitude adjustment," he said and suddenly, the tone of the Big Dog's voice changed. "Seth, there's something I have to tell you,"

Seth's phone pinged along with everyone else's, "Sounds like it's going to have to wait," Seth said looking down at his phone and there was a video trending on his Instagram page.

When the video ended, everyone turned and looked at DX for an explanation and the Degenerate Duo shrugged.

"Don't look at us," Hunter said.

"Yeah, we didn't have anything to do with this," Shawn added and the God Girls came running into the beach house and headed for Seth with tears running down their faces.

"Hey guys, have you seen this video? Sasha and Nia Jax were just having a fight and Nia strangled Sasha to death with that sapphire necklace," Seth said. "Sasha didn't even tell me about it, probably because she knew I wouldn't let her do it. Where is she?"

The God Girls didn't answer and eventually Bianca took a step towards Seth and put her hands on his shoulders.

"It wasn't an angle: Sasha's was strangled by Nia Jax," Bianca said and everyone gasped and loud conversations started to take place as the oxygen started to leave Seth's body. "She's not dead," Bianca continued, "but she is missing. Beth Hardy Trarnscended her body, most likely to blackmail DX into giving up the WWE assets,"

DX grabbed Seth to make sure he didn't collapse and Roman looked directly at them, "Make the deal, give your ex-wife what she wants, we want Sasha in this house, right now!" the Big Dog barked.

"You got it Roman," Shawn said and he called Stephanie but her phone went to voicemail.

"No, don't call my ex-wife, call my ex-son," Hunter said his face was pulsating with rage that he had been forced to give up the Sandbox and the WWE company by such diabolical means. "That bastard will never call me his father again after this,"

Shawn called Hayworth and the Last Helmsley answered, "Hi Uncle Shawn," Hayworth replied with a cruel smile while MacKenzie looked on trembling after seeing the video of Nia Jax strangling Sasha Banks. "Do we have a deal?"

"You win Hayworth, tell Stephanie she can have the Sandbox and the WWE. You on the other hand just lost a family," Shawn replied and Hayworth grinned to himself.

"Cry me a river Uncle Shawn," he said before hanging up on his godfather and Shawn turned to Hunter and nodded. "It's done," he said.

"So where's Sasha?" Roman panicked. "That was the deal right? You've handed over the assets, now we get Sasha back,"

"This isn't over yet Roman," Bianca said and she looked at Seth seriously, "you have to go to the Sandbox tomorrow as the DX family move out. The McMahon-Hardy family will be there and Beth Hardy will want to speak to you. She's going to ask you to make a deal with her in order to get Sasha's body back,"

"No," Seth said knowing what the deal was, "I can't sleep with her!"

"It's the only way she'll give Sasha's body back to you!" Bianca said and the God Girls pulled at their hair with frustration.

"It'll ruin my life, I can't sleep with Stephanie McMahon's 19 year-old daughter!" Seth said.

"Newsflash Rollins, Stephanie wants to destroy you and whether you like it or not, she is going to make sure that happens before you leave for Saudi tomorrow," Bianca said and Seth looked at Bianca in disbelief.

"Are you saying that I don't have a choice?!" Seth said horrified.

"What I'm saying is that if you don't sleep with Beth Hardy, Stephanie's daughter will make sure you never see your wife again," Bianca said.

DX looked down and the beach house drew quiet as Seth turned to the God Girls. "We failed," he said. "After all that we've been through with Stephanie and Bayley, they get the last laugh and it's on me. I'm so sorry I asked you to be part of this group, you gave up so much of your lives for me. But it's over now,"

Becky walked up to Seth emotionally, "What are you saying?" she said. "Are you going to sleep with Beth Hardy?!"

Seth pulled his hand over his face and gave a deep sigh, "I'm saying its over Becky. Go home, we're done," he said and the God Girls looked at Seth in disbelief.

"No!" they said in one united voice.

"This is not over!" Charlotte declared. "I will not go down to Stephanie McMahon!"

"And you will not go down on Beth Hardy!" Becky declared and Seth turned his nose up at her choice of words.

"Gross Bex," he said.

"This is no joke, we are serious and we are not going home!" Becky declared.

"We've come this far and we are not putting our flag down until this assignment is over!" Alexa Bliss said.

"This assignment doesn't end until Bayley repents and gives her life to the Lord and the DX family is protected from the McMahon family. Until we've done those two things, Seth, we're not going home!" Charlotte said and the God Girls hugged him with tears in their eyes.

Seth eventually leaned into their embrace and couldn't help but feel revitalised by their show of faith, "Alright girls, let's give it one more shot," he said and the WWE and NXT roster applauded along with DX.

Bianca slipped out of the hug and motioned to Roman, "We need to talk," she said and they slipped outside while Bayley watched the God Girls rally with Seth.

Her eyes followed Bianca and Roman as they spoke outside the beach house.

"This is your fault," Bianca said to Roman, "Nia attacked Sasha because Galina told her that you had restarted your affair with Sasha,"

Roman looked down at the sand with guilt washing over his face, "I tried to squash it but when she touched my hand on our way to Sugarfish, I felt those old feelings come back and then Abiyah healed me. My emotions were all over the place. I wanted to tell Seth but there just wasn't a good time," Roman explained.

"Stephanie was at the Black Heart Studios when Nia came to find Sasha. The Rock told Nia that Sasha was there with Bayley and then when they left for the beach house, Nia found Sasha and attacked her. Stephanie recorded the whole thing," Bianca said. "By the time the God Girls got there, it was too late. Beth Hardy had already Transcended Sasha's body and it's all your fault!"

"I know, it's why I got sick. I knew I was doing something wrong when we were in L A but I don't want to leave my wife Bianca. Sasha and I have a connection, it doesn't mean I want our marriages to break up. It is what it is you know? I owe Seth the Truth but how do I tell him why Nia did this?" Roman said and Bianca's face tightened.

"You don't worry about Rollins, we'll take good care of him, that's something you will never be able to do if you don't get right Roman," Bianca said and she left Roman outside with his guilt while Bayley looked on.

When Bianca was out of sight, Bayley went out to Roman who was trying to pull himself together.

"Is it true? Are you trying to be with Sasha again?" she asked him.

"Stay out of this Bayley, you are the last person who should be talking to me about having feelings for a married person," Roman said and he walked away from her.

"We can both be happy Roman. If you get Sasha, I get Seth and we can both be happy!" she cried to him and Roman turned back and looked at her darkly.

"Leave me alone Bayley, leave us all alone!" he said before going back inside and Bayley rubbed the back of her neck thinking that she needed to be at the Sandbox tomorrow. The outcome of Seth's encounter with Beth Hardy could change all of their lives forever and she wasn't about to let the Big Dog's guilt get in the way of a dream come true. It was only a dream for Bayley though, for everyone else, it was a nightmare.
