ATM: The Bonehead and the Brain – Seth and the God Girls Strike Back!

Seth and the God girls grow closer while Sasha spends more time with Roman and his family. Hunter deals with the fallout of losing his family's trust and Stephanie and Bayley release the Black Heart Diaries and reveal more than the wrestling world expected.

Chapter Twenty Three – House of Thorns

The Sandbox

There was a dark presence over Greenwich, Connecticut, home of the Sandbox, the place where Shawn and Hunter had grown the WWE family into what it was today. The place that they took over after the McMahon-Helmsley era ended, the place they called home and wanted Seth and Sasha Rollins to call home. A shadow was now cast over this place and it was because of the evil that had taken up residence on the inside of it.

As Seth and the God Girls approached the Sandbox with DX after leaving Los Angeles and cancelling Monday Night RAW, Chyna was outside with all their things packed.

"They were going to burn everything," she said as Hunter and Shawn approached her. "I packed up everything I could,"

Seth and the God Girls could feel the evil as they approached the entrance to the Sandbox and they weren't alone. The entire DX family was on edge, today was the day the fate of the WWE went back intoo the crafty, callous and calculating hands of Stephanie McMahon. What made this return to the McMahon family different was that it came at the expense of Sasha Banks.

"Is Sasha inside with them?" Hunter asked Joanie and Chyna nodded.

"She's in our room," Chyna said. "Angela Jericho gave her a Make Under. Her face is completely marred, like Kane's old mask. You would never know it was Sasha except for the blue dress, she's still wearing it,"

"I can heal her," Charlotte said stepping up to Chyna but Seth put his hand out stopping Charlotte from going into the house.

"I have to go in alone, you guys cannot come inside with me," he said to Charlotte and the rest of the God Girls.

"We can't let you go in there by yourself Seth, it is far too dangerous. Stephanie wants to take you out and you think we're going to let you walk in there without us?!" Alexa Bliss said. "No way padre! We'll go with you but we'll be invisible, I'll stretch my Invisibility Cloak over us so that Steph and her family won't be able to see us,"

"We can't all fit under your cloak, we need a cloak each," Bianca said and she looked at Seth with a smile, "Ask God to give us all Cloaks of Invisibility," she said and Seth prayed as requested.

Shawl rose from Seth's shoulder and ascended to the sky. When Seth's flying prayer shawl returned, he was carrying three Cloaks of Invisibility.

"Thanks Shawl!" Seth said and the God Girls took a cloak each and followed Seth into the Sandbox.

DX had no intention of making themselvees invisible and they entered their old home with the rest of the DX family loud and in living colour.

As they entered their former home the McMahon-Hardy family were already in the process of redecorating. The DX family looked around seeing all the furniture had been moved and the DX kitchen had been gutted.

"Stephanie's in the family room," Bianca whispered to Seth and the Prayer Warrior walked into the former DX family room and saw Stephanie standing in the middle of the room with her arms crossed and a superior smirk on her face.

Just behind her sitting in his father's favourite chair was Hayworth Helmsley. He too had a superior smirk on his face and like Stephanie, he was immaculately dressed, in a tailored Armani suit and silk purple shirt and tie. Standing by his side was the beautiful and terrified Charlene MacKenzie Helmsley, wearing a fitted purple silk dress, looking every bit as sophisticated as her husband.

"Welcome to my home Seth Rollins," Hayworth said and he kissed MacKenzie's hand. "Now I finally have everything that my father wanted you to have,"

"Don't do it," Bianca whispered to Seth, "I know you want to resuce Mac and send her home to Clearwater where she can be with her father but now is not the time to rescue your ex-girlfriend,"

Seth took a deep breath wishing he could squeeze Bianca's hand for support but she was Invisible so he had to act like he was the only man in the room.

"I want to see my wife," Seth said to Stephanie ignoring HayMac for now. "Where is she?"

"She's not the woman you should be thinking about right now Seth," Stephanie said and she stepped to the right and revealed Beth Hardy who was standing behind her in her regular clothes but something was different. "We'll leave you two alone. Let's go Hayworth," Stephanie said to the Last Helmsley and she left with HayMac and closed the door, thinking Seth was alone in the room with her daughter.

Seth looked Beth up and down, "I'm not gonna sleep with you," he said seroiusly and Beth shook her head.

"I know, that's why I'm dressed like this," Beth said and Seth narrowed his gaze at her. Even though she looked like Beth Hardy, she sounded different. "My Mom made me Executive in Charge of Talent Relations. That means I'll be overseeing all the talent in the WWE roster. Your wife attacked me and she called me trash and when I went home and looked in the mirror, I got a wake up call. All those Self-Esteem classes that we had together came flooding back to me. I went to bed that night thinking a lot better of myself and then my Mom gave me a job that puts me directly in charge of both your contracts. So here's the deal Seth Rollins, here's what I want,"

Seth took a deep breath knowing he wasn't going to like what he was about to hear and he saw that the DX chandelier was still hanging from the ceiling.

"The chandelier," he said. "It's still here,"

Beth Hardy furrowed her brow at Seth but the Prayer Warrior had a plan and he hoped that the God Girls were about to carry it out.

"Let's go Girls!" Bianca said and the God Girls in their Invisible state, moved across the room towards the chandelier while Seth kept talking to Beth Hardy.

"This is what I want Seth," Beth continued. "I want you to be my right hand man. I want you to work beside me in the WWE, in the office. I want you to help me build the division, I want us to work very closely together over the next five to ten years,"

"Sounds like you want to follow in your Mom's footsteps," Seth said and Beth Hardy smiled.

"Trust me, I'd rather just sleep with you but my father, bless his heart, he's such a good man. He talked me out of it," Beth Hardy said. "He convinced me that if I really wanted you, I would have to a lot closer to you than I am right now. So I figured, if we were working together, eventually you wouldn't be so put off by my age like everyone else. Eventually, you'd see me as the strong, sexy and powerful woman that I am,"

Seth gulped, "And what about my wife, where does my wife fit into all of this?" he asked as the God Girls started to unscrew the chandelier from the ceiling.

Beth smiled and hugged herself, "In about five years, your children will be old enough to understand change. You and Sasha will stay togeher until then but after your children turn five, I want you to ask your wife for a divorce," Beth said and Seth tried not to laugh at how ridiculous Beth's plan was. "Then hopefully we would have built up quite a strong relationship as the number one and two Executives in the company. We'll go from being friends to being like family,"

Seth saw the chandelier dangling from the ceiling, the God Girls were ready to execute his plan to rescue Sasha and get the Hell out of the place they used to call home.

"Let me guess," Seth said and he stepped towards Beth, "We fall madly in love, our eyes constantly lock from across every board room meeting, until our fingers become sewn together and our hearts echo the sound of excitement everytime we see each other,"

Beth felt weak as Seth came very close to her and she stepped backwards, just as Seth knew she would. As she stepped back, she stepped closer and closer to the chandlier that was starting to rock back and forth.

"Then you tell your mother that we're in love and she announces our engagement to the world and your family couldn't be happier for you, am I right?" Seth said and Beth face lit up like a Christmas tree.

"That sounds so much better when you say it!" Beth said. "So, are you saying you like my idea? It's better than just forcing you to cheat on your wife, I know how strong your values are Seth and it would crush you to break your marital vows. At least this way, you won't have any marital vows to break because you and Sasha will no longer be a thing,"

Seth's face hardened as Beth stood directly under the DX chandlier, "Me and Sasha will always be a thing!" he said before looking up at the Invisible God Girls, "Now!" he said and the God Girls loosened the last screw from the ceiling and the chandlier fell on top of Beth Hardy knocking her out cold.

Stephanie turned towards the family room at the sound of the breaking glass and she went to re-enter the room but the God Girls burst out of it, taking her by surprise.

"Let go of me!" Stephanie cried as they forced her out into the palatial garden while HayMac looked on. Seth emerged from the family room and locked eyes with Hayworth Helmsley.

"Where's my wife?" he said firmly and Mac looked at her husband trembling.

"She's upstairs," she said and Hayworth gave her a stern look of disapproval.

Seth walked towards the staircase and looked at Hayworth one more time as he passed by, "This house will always be mine," he said confidently. "Remember that while you're decorating,"

Seth walked up the stairs leaving HayMac divided, as Hayworth went to check on Stephanie, MacKenzie followed Seth up to Hunter and Joanie's bedroom where Sasha was.

Seth opened the door and saw his wife sitting on Hunter and Joanie's bed with her face in her hands. He rushed over to her and pulled her hands away from her face so he could it clearly.

"Angela Jericho turned my Beauty into the Beast," Seth said and Sasha laughed in-spite of herself as Seth touched her marred face, "You will always be beautiful to me,"

Mac stood by the bedroom door and watched as Seth healed his wife's face and covered her mouth in awe as the damaged visage disappeared to reveal Sasha's real face once again.

"I didn't know you could heal," Mac said.

"I'm not supposed to, Randy Orton's going to yell at me for sure when he finds out that I healed my wife's face," Seth said as Sasha touched her face happily, "but I couldn't help it, I love her so much, that my love healed her,"

Mac nodded, "Now, if only your love could heal Hayworth." she said as Sasha kissed Seth and as the two made out like the true lovers that they were, Mac found hope that her marriage wasn't the lost cause Stephanie McMahon was making it become.

Seth also healed the bruises on Sasha's neck from the strangalation via Nia Jax.

"I was so scared Seth, one minute I'm waiting for Bayley and the next minute I've got Nia Jax' hands around my neck and she screaming at me, saying I was sleeping with Roman," Sasha said. "I'm not sleeping with Roman,"

"I know," Seth said. "let's get out of here,"

Sasha smiled at Seth and they resumed kissing while the God Girls put Stephanie McMahon into the highest tree Shawl could find.

When Shawl had found the highest tree, he flew the God Girls back to the Sandbox where Seth and Sasha were waiting for him.

The Rollins turned to the DX family as Hayworth questioned where his wife was and they both smiled.

"We're off to Saudi Arabia," Seth said. "Let us know when you've fixed the house back the way you like it,"

Shawn and Hunter hugged them, "Enjoy your time away from our crazy business Seth. We'll see you both when you get back with your new baby," Shawn said but Hunter refused to let them go.

"I'm coming with you!" he declared.

"No Hunter you're not," Seth said loosing himself from Hunter, "You're going to stay here and prove to your son what it takes to be a Helmsley,"

"I'm gonna need your help for that Seth because you're the best example of what being a Helmsley means," Hunter said and Seth gave him a Shield bump.

"You're a good dude, hopefully your son will realise that too some day," Seth said and he turned to the God Girls, "I gotta get outta here, you guys know what to do right?"

The God Girls nodded, "We got this Seth, go get Abiyah. We'll see you real soon," Bianca said and the Rollins got on Shawl and flew to pick up Abiyah who was with the Reigns family in Pensacola, Florida.

Everyone waved goodbye to Seth and Sasha as they left for what seemed like a brand new adventure in the Middle East.

What Seth and Sasha didn't know, was that their adventure in the United States was far from over.
