ATM: The Bonehead and the Brain – Seth and the God Girls Strike Back!
Seth and the God girls grow closer while Sasha spends more time with Roman and his family. Hunter deals with the fallout of losing his family's trust and Stephanie and Bayley release the Black Heart Diaries and reveal more than the wrestling world expected.
Chapter Twenty Four – FYI
The Ortons, Manhattan, New York City, NY
The God Girls were summoned to the Ortons' apartment in Manhattan, New York after their victory over the McMahon family at the Sandbox. Seeing Seth and Sasha take off on Shawl was one of the best things the God Girls had seen all year and they had nothing but joyful thoughts about the Black and Blue Connection right now. After all they had been through, Seth and Sasha had finally made it, they finally made it out of the country in one piece and soon they would be on their way to Saudi Arabia to work for the Prince as his Royal Counsel, in his Royal Palace. Things couldn't have worked out better for Seth and the God Girls...or so they thought.
"Get in here, we need to talk,," Randy Orton said as the God Girls arrived at the Ortons' doorstep.
The God Girls exchanged glances at Orton's abrupt tone of voice and they stepped into the Ortons' cool home and saw Trish waving at them with one hand and holding her granddaughter with the other.
"OMG she's beautiful!" Bianca Belair said coming up to Rebecca Rogan.
"The kids are at Harvard today so we thought we'd give them a break," Trish said referring to RJ and Remi Orton. "Congratulations by-the-way,"
Bianca beamed touching her stomach where her baby girl was growing safely, "Thanks Trish," she said and the other God Girls hugged her lovingly.
"So what is the reason for this visit?" Becky asked Randy Orton who hadn't smiled since they arrived.
"You know what I'm about to say don't you?" Randy said to Bianca.
"If you're referring to the trouble Sasha and Seth got into over what happened in L A, we dealt with it," Bianca said.
"Saying goodbye to Seth and Sasha and waving to them as they take off for Saudi Arabia on a flying prayer shawl is not handling it," Randy said firmly and the God Girls looked at Bianca.
"Were we supposed to do something else? I thought we triumphed!" Becky asked Bianca.
"So did I but apparently, Randy knows something that I don't," Bianca said and she looked back at Randy, "I can only do what God tells me to do, I can't see into the future so if God showed you something you're gonna have to share it with us. As far as I know, we won today. Our assignment is almost complete,"
"Almost, that's the key word there Bianca. Your assignment is almost complete. So did you really think sending Seth and Sasha off to Saudi Arabia knowing that your assignment is still on, was a good idea?" Randy asked Seth's Treasurer of Secrets.
"If you're talking about Bayley coming to Jesus, there's no timestamp on that. She can come to Jesus anytime. We got the other part of the assignment done," Bianca said and Randy shook his head.
"See, this is why Amy and Shawn Michaels should never have been the ones to watch over Seth when God made him a Prayer Warrior. Those two have misguided you and filled your head with this false idea, that your assignment is all about Seth and Sasha staying together as a couple. It's not; Seth's assignment was to protect the DX family at all costs and to bring Bayley to Christ. The four of you were supposed to help him do that," Randy said.
"We have helped him, we've almost completed our assignment," Alexa Bliss said proudly.
"How have you done that Bliss? By putting Beth Hardy under a chandelier and Stephanie McMahon Hardy in a very tall tree?!" Randy said pointedly and the God Girls nodded.
"Yeah, we got Seth and the DX family out of trouble by taking down the McMahon menace," Alexa Bliss said and Bianca Belair sighed.
"Okay Randy enough with the veiled commentary, why don't you tell us what else we were supposed to do?" she said respectfully.
"You were supposed to make sure that the DX family were no longer being attacked by the McMahon family. Beth Hardy will get out from under that chandelier and Stephanie McMahon Hardy will get out of that tree and the first thing that those two green-eyed beauties are going to do is attack the DX family. Now, does that sound like victory to you?" Randy said sarcastically and the God Girls looked at each other.
"We have to go back to the Sandbox," Bianca said.
"No," Randy said firmly and the God Girls looked at him questioningly and Trish spoke before her husband could say something else.
"I'm afraid it's too late for that girls," Trish said and the God Girls looked at her wondering what had happened when they left the Sandbox.
The Sandbox
Hayworth Helmsley ran into the family room seeing Beth Hardy stuck under the DX chandelier that the God Girls had dropped on her so Seth could get Sasha out of the Sandbox and out of the country.
"Elizabeth!" he cried and he dropped to her side and checked her pulse. She was alive. "Oh thank God, I'm going to help you up okay?"
MacKenzie Helmsley watched as her husband tried to help Beth Hardy keeping herself at a distance from them both.
Beth moved her shoulder and turned her head to look up at Hayworth, "Tell your wife to come over here," she said and Hayworth turned to Mac.
"Get over here baby," he said to her and Mac hesitated.
"Maybe we should call for help, she could be really hurt. I don't think you should move her," MacKenzie said.
"Come over here Mac," Hayworth said again but more firmly this time and MacKenzie tentatively walked over to Beth Hardy and the broken chandelier.
Beth looked up at Mac, she was clearly in a lot of pain. "I want you to hold hands with your husband, then I want you to both touch the chandelier," she said weakly.
"Why?" Mac asked critically.
"Don't ask me any questions Mac, I'm in a lot of pain right now, if I wasn't, I'd Transcend myself out from under this chandelier. Turns out, this is the best thing that could have happened to us," she said and HayMac exchanged glances with each other.
"Us?" they echoed.
"Yes us; the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family. Now do what I told you to do, we're all in this together now guys," Beth said.
"I don't like this, I think this is a really bad idea, I think we should get help," Mac said but Hayworth held her hand firmly.
"Help, from who? Didn't you hear what Beth just said? This is us, not DX and certainly not Seth and the God Girls. We are family, everything else is in the past," Hayworth said and Mac looked at him with pleading eyes but her husband was determined to put as much distance between them and Seth and the God Girls as possible. "There's no going back now Mac, we're in this together,"
Mac wept as she touched the chandelier with her husband. Her DX wedding ring alighted and all the DX jewels in the chandelier alighted along with it. A surge of light radiated from the jewels and it penetrated Beth Hardy and HayMac. Their bodies beamed with colour and supernatural power and each member of the DX family, including Shawn and Hunter, were suddenly filled with the same colour and power.
Beth Hardy threw the chandelier off of herself violently, shattering it into a thousand tiny pieces and she stood to her feet. She Transcended her mother out of the tree Shawl had put her into and into the Sandbox as the entire DX family came into the family room. They seemed to be under some kind of control from the DX jewels that Beth Hardy and HayMac had taken ownership of. Beth Hardy's hair was now a multiple of bright neon colours, signalling her Hardy Girl legacy with every bit of her mother's McMahon influence.
"You wanted to win the war Mom," the new Beth Hardy said to Stephanie. "We now have control of the entire DX family jewel collection. You won Mom!"
Stephanie looked over at each member of the DX family who seemed to be under hypnosis. "No Beth, I didn't win. We all won," She turned to HayMac who smiled at her lovingly, "Let's go run the world,"
The Reigns Household, Pensacola, Florida
Moments after the event at the Sandbox, Hayworth Helmsley took over as Chairman of the Board at WWE and fired Seth, Sasha and the God Girls. Seth and Sasha were at Roman's house watching the McMahon takeover unfold via social media.
"We have to go to New York," Seth said to Sasha. "The God Girls are at the Ortons and they need to speak to me,"
"No, we're going to Saudi Arabia," Sasha said firmly. "We already lost our jobs what more could those God Girls have to tell you?"
Seth furrowed his brow, "You think us losing our jobs is the fallout from what just happened in Connecticut?" he said bemused by Sasha's words and his wife put her head in her hands and sighed.
"Seth, I can't do this anymore. I can't put on this plastic smile everytime you decide to pivot back to those four morons. We need to leave this country or we might never get out of it!" Sasha said.
"What are you running away from?" Seth asked her and she looked at Roman and Galina who were scrolling through social media updates that were coming hard and fast now.
"Nia Jax tried to kill me Seth, I don't feel safe right now okay? Let's get out of here before something else happens to me," Sasha said and Seth hugged her lovingly.
"I can't leave the United States until I see my Girls," he said gently. "Stay here with Roman and you'll be safe,"
Sasha gave Roman a look of concern as Seth kissed her before taking Shawl and flying to New York City.
As Seth left, Roman got a call from the Rock. "You want me to what?!" Roman asked in shock. "I'm not going to do that, are you crazy?! That's all lies, Seth never touched Beth Hardy. Dwayne please don't do this!"
Sasha and Galina looked at Roman as he ended his combustible conversation with the Rock.
"My cousin wants me to take Seth and Sasha to court for full custody of Abiyah. He says that Seth and the God Girls attacked Beth and Stephanie at the Sandbox and Seth slept with Becky Lynch. This is crazy!" Roman said getting to his feet and Sasha panicked.
"You can't take my baby away from me," she said to Roman fearfully.
"Of course I won't Sasha but Rocky's gone on a character assassination campaign against' your husband. He's gonna drag Seth's name through the mud!" Roman said.
"But its all lies!" Sasha said.
"My cousin is the most powerful man in Hollywood, he can make a lie sound like the Gospel if he wants to. By the end of the month, the entire world will turn on Seth," Roman said. "I think I should look after Abiyah while you and Seth are in Saudi,"
"Are you crazy?!" Sasha said getting to her feet. "There's no way I'm leaving my son behind!"
Sasha went to get Abiyah and Faith Star who was with him and Galina spoke to Roman who's head was spinning.
"I just don't think this is the right time to have this conversation," Galina said to him.
"Then when is the right time? They're leaving the country today!" Roman repliied and he went to talk to Sasha who went to get Abiyah and Faith Star.
"Where are they?" Galina said coming into the living room with her husband. "They were playing in here just a few minutes ago,"
A cold chill suddenly ran down Roman's neck and he called Seth on his cell-phone, "Seth, I think you might be in trouble," he said but before he could say anything else, he got a text from Bayley saying "she's here", as in Sasha was with Bayley. "Nevermind, I'll call you right back,"
Roman hung up on Seth and called Bayley who confirmed that Sasha, Abiyah and Faith Star were with her. "Thank God, so are you in L A, is this a Black Heart Diaries thing?"
"Sort of," Bayley said nervously as Nia Jax stood behind a camera with Bayley by her side. Sasha, Faith Star and Abiyah were sitting down on the studio sofa looking scared. "I gotta go Roman," Bayley said as the final scene of the Black Heart Diaries took place with a little help from Nia Jax.
"Say "Goodbye Seth,"" Nia Jax said as she recorded Sasha, Abiyah and Faith Star as they wept.
"Goodbye Seth," Sasha said crying.
"It's done," Bayley said in a text message to Beth Hardy and seconds later, Beth Hardy Transcended Sasha, Abiyah and Faith Star out of the country, leaving an empty space in the Black Heart Studios and in Bayley's now empty and guilt-ridden heart.
"Well the Boss is gone for good, looks like you finally got your wish Bayley. With Sasha, Abiyah and Faith Star now out of the picture, you can finally have Seth all to yourself," Nia said. "You guys really do belong together,"
Bayley nodded, "Then why do I feel so bad?" she said and Nia shrugged. She didn't feel bad at all, as far as she was concerned, Sasha Banks was a home-wrecking s*** who got exactly what she deserved.
"Seth's in New York, are you going to tell him the good news?" Nia asked Bayley.
"What, that the love of his life has been Transcended somewhere along with Abiyah and that DX kid Faith Star?" Bayley said sarcastically and Nia furrowed her brow at her confused.
"I thought this was what you wanted?" she asked Bayley as they left the Black Heart Studios.
"No, I wanted us to be friends again," Bayley said.
"Even if that meant Seth was with Sasha instead of you?" Nia said in disbelief. "No Bayley, this is exactly what you wanted. The Boss is gone and she is never coming back. Go to New York and get your man before someone else does,"
Nia and Bayley went their separate ways and as Bayley headed for the airport to fly to New York and see Seth, she came to a decision, a decision that Seth and the God Girls had wanted her to make from the very beginning.
