ATM: The Bonehead and the Brain – Seth and the God Girls Strike Back!
Seth and the God girls grow closer while Sasha spends more time with Roman and his family. Hunter deals with the fallout of losing his family's trust and Stephanie and Bayley release the Black Heart Diaries and reveal more than the wrestling world expected.
Chapter Twenty Five – Goodbye Seth
The Ortons, Manhattan, New York City, NY
The promo for the new Black Heart Diaries web series was out and the whole wrestling world saw it. Seconds later the roster was sending text messages to Seth Rollins asking him where Sasha was. In the promo, Sasha said "Goodbye Seth" and then it ended there and so the buzz was based on Sasha apparently leaving her husband. The promo was a hit and millions of people tuned in to see the first episode of the Black Heart Diaries online. What nobody knew was that Sasha was really gone and so were Abiyah and Faith Star.
Bayley showed up at the Ortons looking very guilty and as soon as she saw Seth's face, she burst into tears.
"I'm so sorry Seth," she wept. "I'm sorry for all of it,"
Bayley was sincere, she deeply regretted what had happened to Sasha, Abiyah and Faith Star.
Bianca and the other God Girls stepped towards Bayley as the Ortons comforted Seth.
"Do you really mean it Bayley?" Becky asked her seriously.
"Are you really sorry for trying to ruin Seth's marriage all this time?" Alexa added.
Bayley pulled her hand through her hair to steady herself, "Yes, I am truly sorry and I want to make things right,"
Bayley walked up to Seth and pulled on his arm to get his attention. His face was red with tears and Bayley squeezed his hand to encourage him.
"I really am sorry Seth and I want to prove to you all just how sorry I am," Bayley said and she looked directly at the Ortons, "I want to give my life to Jesus Christ," she declared and Seth gasped.
"You mean it? You're not just screwing with us?" he asked her and Bayley smiled up at her old friend.
"My days of screwing with you, both literally and figuratively, are over. I wanna be a God Girl and I want to help you get Sasha, Abiyah and Faith Star back," she said.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Becky said coming over to Seth and Bayley with the other God Girls. "You wanna be a Christian, fine no problem but a God Girl? You can't just join our group, you have to earn your spot Bayley,"
"I will earn my spot Becky, I'll earn it by getting Seth's family back," Bayley said confidently. "No-one understands the McMahon-Hardy family better than me. Let me work them from the inside and I'll find out where they all are right now!"
Bianca smiled at Bayley, "Let's say the Prayer of Salvation first, then we'll talk strategy," she said kindly and Seth and the God Girls surrounded Bayley and supported her as she said the words that gave her life over to the Lord.
"Amen!" they said together at the end of the prayer and Bayley wept hard on her knees telling the Lord how sorry she was for all the evil things she had done and all the pain she had caused Seth, Sasha and the DX family.
Seth and the God Girls left her to repent and covered her with Seth's prayer shawl while they talked about the Black Heart Diaries.
"Okay so this is what's happening," Randy Orton said. "Nia Jax is trying to convince Roman to get full custody of Abiyah and she's doing a pretty good job of getting the Rock to think that Seth and Sasha are the scum of the Earth. Now the Rock is telling everyone in Hollywood that Seth made a move on Beth Hardy at Sugarfish last weekend. Nia and Rocky are both working overtime to make Seth and Sasha both persona non gratas in Hollywood. He wants them both to stay gone but he wants Roman to have Abiyah to keep the bloodline in the U.S. Rocky really doesn't like you Seth,"
"You married a real jerk you know that?" Charlotte said to Bayley.
"He's not a jerk he's just being manipulated by Stephanie just like Nia, she's the one turning everyone against Seth and Sasha," Bianca said and she looked at the Ortons, "Do you want me to tell everyone about what happened at the Sandbox?"
"Go ahead," Randy said giving Bianca a nod of approval.
"Beth Hardy used MacKenzie Helmsley's DX wedding ring to synergise the DX jewels that were in the chandelier, giving her and the rest of the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family complete and total control over the DX family," Bianca said and Seth and the God Girls gasped in horror.
"But wait, there's more!" Trish said and she was smiling so Seth and the God Girls felt a little better about what else Bianca was about to say.
"The power from the DX jewels is what Stephanie always wanted. The jewels give absolute power to the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family, along with the power of flight and mind control. Each DX family member is under the control of the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family now, however they do not have all the jewels, so they do not have absolute power," Bianca said and she twirled her Braid showing the DX jewels that were weaved into it from top to bottom.
"You got some of the jewels!" Alexa said jumping up and down as Seth and the other God Girls cheered.
"So what does this mean?" Seth asked Bianca.
"It means that the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family doesn't have control over us," Bianca said with a winning smile and Seth and the God Girls hugged her in celebration, "that's right, we're free from their evil tyranny!"
"But wait there's more!" Trish Orton said again with an even bigger smile.
"What else Bianca, come on don't keep us in suspense!" Seth said excitedly.
"Faith Star has a DX bracelet making her the only DX kid not currently under the control of the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family. It also makes her the only DX family member who can take away the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family's power. Faith Star can ask God to take all their power away but it would go directly to either her or us," Bianca explained and Seth and the God Girls gasped.
"Us?" they said in unison and Bianca nodded.
"Faith Star can use the bracelet to transfer all that DX power to whoever else has possession of the DX jewels. That would be me, so if we hold hands and Faith Star transfers the power, we would all get that power," Bianca said. "So that includes the power of flight and mind control,"
Seth and the God Girls looked at each other feeling uneasy, "I don't mind flying but I don't want to have control over anyone's mind," Seth said. "That sounds kind of evil to me,"
"Well you wouldn't have to use the power to control people's minds, the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family would use the power to do that because they have evil motives. You could use the same power hear what people are thinking instead of controlling their thoughts, so if someone was lying to you or planning on doing something evil, you would know it," Trish Orton explained.
"Either way, what I'm saying guys is that Stephanie thinks she's beaten us, she thinks she's beaten DX but she hasn't! We have the power, she just doesn't know it yet! There's just one issue we have to overcome before we can take power away from the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family." Bianca said, "We have to somehow get the message to Sasha that the DX family jewels have been activated so that she can tell Faith Star to assume total control with her DX bracelet," Bianca said and Bayley got up off the floor with Seth's prayer shawl over her shoulders. Her face was radiating with light and she was full of peace. Seth smiled from ear-to-ear as they all looked at the new and Born-Again Bayley.
"Welcome back Bayley," Seth said to her warmly. "Are you ready for your first assignment?"
Bayley nodded and Seth put his hand on her shoulder, "I want you to find out where my wife is and then take Shawl and go to her. When you find her, I want you to tell her that Faith Star needs to take ownership of the DX family jewels," Seth said.
Bayley pulled on her necklace; it was the sapphire necklace that Sasha had given her as a wedding present. She had taken it from Sasha before the Boss was Transcended from the Black Heart Studios.
Seth took the necklace in his hands with a sigh, "I hoped I would never see this thing ever again. This necklace has been the source of so much trouble for me and my family but what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn around for good," he said and he prayed over the necklace and it started to glow in a warm blue light.
"Awesome!" Bianca said and the God Girls looked down at the necklace as it glowed, then suddenly a blue light beam shot up out of the necklace and it revealed a hologram of Sasha Rollins.
"We can see her!" Alexa Bliss said looking at the hologram and the Ortons smiled as God answered Seth's prayer by using the bracelet and giving Bayley a brand-new Gift from God.
"She's in the desert," Bianca said and Seth looked at Bayley whose eyes were now glowing blue.
"You can use this necklace to find her," he said. "God will give you a Cloak of Invisibility to protect you just in-case Satan sends his evil minions to track you down," Seth said and he brushed his hand against Bayley's face. "This is your first assignment, if you fail you can't be a God Girl but if you succeed, I get to see my family again, Stephanie and her evil family plans will end and you will officially be a God Girl,"
"I won't fail," Bayley said and she smiled at the God Girls, "I'll bring the Boss back home and I'll see you guys real soon," she said confidently before getting on Shawl and heading to where Sasha, Abiyah and Faith Star were currently stranded.
"That's my girl," Seth said proudly and the God Girls hugged him while Trish and Randy Orton looked on,
"But wait, there's more!" Trish said and Seth and the God Girls turned to her.
"There's more? What else do you have to tell us?" Seth asked Trish Orton.
"In Sasha's absence, the McMahon-Helmsley-Hardy family will have total control of the DX family and the WWE. Since you are all out of a job, you're all going to have to keep quite a low profile. Once Stephanie finds you, she'll realise that she doesn't have absolute power and she will go after you with everything she's got," Trish said.
"So, to keep you all safe, we are going to be your guardians," Randy Orton said and Seth and the God Girls furrowed their brows at Randy.
"Meaning?" Seth said.
"Meaning that until Bayley finds Sasha and restores power to you guys, we will be giving out your new assignments," Randy said. "They will be low profile obviously, so no Hollywood weddings or web series or photo shoots. It's going to be far less glamourous for you guys for awhile and we expect you to do as we say and follow our instructions to the letter,"
"Urgh," Seth sighed and Trish gave him Rebecca Rogan to hold.
"Hold my granddaughter and think about how cool it will be to hold your baby girl when Sasha gives birth to your baby," Trish said and Seth looked down at the sleeping baby and felt emotional but in a good way.
Bianca motioned for Randy Orton to come over to her and she whispered in his ear while Seth held Randy's granddaughter, "God just told me that Sasha won't be coming back for a long time and that I need to find Seth another companion to keep him company in her absence," Bianca said. "I have a companion in mind but she's engaged and I'm helping to plan her wedding next month,"
Randy looked over at Becky Lynch and then back at Bianca with an earnest expression on his face, "Do exactly what God tells you to do Bianca. The success of the God Girls is down to your obedience, if you disobey God and find someone you would prefer Seth to be with because it is less awkward for you, the fallout will be ugly for everyone. Get Becky alone and tell her exactly what God told you. I don't care if she's already engaged, have that conversation and get her ready to fill in for Sasha while Seth's waiting for her to come home. Seth can't be alone, you know this, if you leave him to his own devices, he'll end up with the wrong person and it will be a headache for everyone. You need to get Becky ready to be there for him, in every single way,"
Bianca gulped, "I need to smarten Seth up first," she said and Randy nodded.
"Give him a minute, he's loving on my granddaughter, then take him to one side and tell him that it'll be awhile before Sasha comes home," Randy said and Bianca nodded looking at Seth, then looking at Becky and thinking about Finn Balor and the wedding that might be called off very soon. How do I tell Becky that God wants her to be with Seth until Sasha gets back? Bianca thought to herself and she looked out of the Ortons' bay window and up at the sky, waiting for the return of the Boss hoping that her best friend Bayley came through and saved them all from the wicked days ahead.
The warm press of Seth's head against her own broke her moment of contemplation and she turned and looked up into his big brown eyes as he smiled down at her like a proud older brother.
"Looks like you got a lot on your mind B. Is there something you need to tell me?" he asked her.
"There sure is Seth," Bianca said and she looked over at Becky who was admiring her engagement ring from Finn Balor with Charlotte and Alexa. Bianca sighed, the weight of the secret God wanted her to share bared down on her as she looked up at Seth with a straight face, "there sure is,"
