Sorry for not uploding for a while, I've been busy with Halloween and all that jazz. And I'm on vacation right now. And I might not upload again for a while. But the chapter will be out sooner than this one. And I thought I could get this done before halloween, but life had other plans. Anyways enjoy :)

Courage awoke groggily but he didn't open his eyes. He laid where he was concentrating only on the memory of what happened. "Oh, what happened?"

Courage slowly opened his eyes wearily. He looked around him, seeing nothing but dark brown walls around him. He saw Shaggy and Scooby next him, and both are still unconscious and are back against the wall.

He tried to move, but he noticed that he couldn't, he tried moving his legs but they wouldn't budge. Fear forming in the pit of his stomach, he tried to move his arms, his legs everything, but no matter how much hard he tried, he couldn't budge, All he could move was his head. Looking around for a better inspection, he still could see nobody, besides his two friends.

"Guys, wake up!" Courage cried out, in alarm.

This caused Shaggy to startled awake. As he regain consciousness, he noticed his best friend still out. "Like Scoob, wake up."

Scooby slowly opened his fluttering eyes and looked up to see his two friends. "Raggy?"

"Guys, guys, I can't move." Courage whimpered out.

Scooby and Shaggy were both about to say of what he meant, only to find out they can't move either, they only move their heads but, their entire bodies were paralyzed.

"L-L-Like why can't we move!" Shaggy stammered out.

"I-I-I don't know." Scooby replied, as he tried to move, but it was no use.

Suddenly the three heard a insane evil laugh, that made the trio's blood turned to ice. There was a tall figure coming towards them, making the cowardly trio even more frightened. As he was walking towards them he spoke, "ah you're all finally wake."

When the figure finally came into the room, he was a tall man with, slickly black hair, a creepy smile and white messy clothes.

"Wh-Wh-Who are you?" Courage stammered in fear.

"I suppose, your all wondering why are you stuck here." The tall man said.

The three friends nodded nervously, not sure if they want to know this or not.

"You're probably wondering why you three can't move, right?" The tall man asked. "That's because I made you all paralyze, with my powers, with the exception of your heads of course."

The three friends were stunned with shock.

"And it was me who pretended, who was that old lady called….Oh that's right Muriel." The tall man mocked.

Courage felt tears forming in his eyes, how dare that man messed with his emotions! Scooby growled a little a the tall man, he knew how Courage can be sensitive, about his feelings.

"Do you know why, you found some of the statues in the house?" The tall man questioned.

"N-N-No." Scooby hesitate fearfully.

The tall man replied "What if I was the reason for it."

"L-L-Like what do you mean?" Shaggy quipped, nervously.

"I will tell you now." The tall man took in a deep breath, and told his story. "I'm a collector, whoever comes into this house is trapped like a prey escaping its predator. I was the one who sets all those traps. Whoever does not make it life gets turned to stone."

The trio although scared, continued to listened, wanting to know the truth about this house.

The collector continued to tell his tale. "And whoever survives here and stays here more than one hour..."

The trio braced themselves for the worst.

"They eventually turned to stone."

Just then they saw a cockroach crawling on the floor, suddenly it let out a squeak and was turned into stone. This made the trio screams of terror, they all exchange fearful glances at each other, as a moment of sheer terror ran through then as they realized what those statues were. They're normal people!

"They're ordinary people!" Courage gasped in fear.

"And now like, we're next." Shaggy gulped.

"Roh no!" Scooby cried out in horror and despair.

"Well there is a way out." The collector spoke.

"There is?" Shaggy, Scooby and Courage asked, getting a grasp a bit of hope.

"If you can make it out by my last three traps and if one of you makes it out the door before midnight, not only will you be free, but the others you had been turned to stone will be free as well." The collector explained.

"And if we don't." Scooby asked, in a fearful tone.

"Well, you all will be part in my collection forever." The collector said, with an evil smirk.

The cowardly trio gulped in fear at the thought being trapped here for all eternity. Never to move or speak ever again. Or to never to see Fred, Daphne or Velma ever again.

"You all had thirty minutes. Tick-tock." The collector laughed evilly, and vanished.

The trio remained silent, not sure how to process all of this. They all got thirty minutes before they're turned to stone.

"Hurry guys, I don't think we have much time." Courage said, in fear.

Scooby and Shaggy nodded, and hurried down towards another room to get out. If they're not out by midnight, they'll be turned into statues and be stuck in the house forever.
