It's her. She's A. Who else know about 'that' except for her? Exactly! No one. It's gotta be her.
I was walking side by side with Mona as we walked through the pool of students. Shouting stuff at each other. Mona kept on talking about some— stuff I guess. I don't know. Knowing Mona, it's either boys or fashions. Gee! Shut up Mona. You're making my headache worse.
"Hann? What's up?" Asked Mona. A concern expression was clear on her face.
"Nothing. I just didn't get enough sleep last night."
"Anyways. Have you talked to Alison?"
I looked at Mona like she had just grow another nose. "No. Why are you asking about her all of a sudden?"
Mona looked down at the hem of her brown Kashmir sweater as she mumbled slowly, "Now that your friends are back, you'll surely leave me..."
"What? Mona that's crazy. I'll never do that to you. We're best friends forever and nothing can change that. We've been through SO much together. Do you really think I'll forget you that easily?"
"Aww, thanks Hann! You're the best!" Said Mona while hugging my left shoulder.
"Dyke!" Shouted Monty, the senior quarterback to the gaytron. Suddenly, a guy with green beanie threw his book at Monty!
Bukkk!
"Sorry, I have butterfingers," said the guy slowly as he picked his science book.
"Oh my—god! Speak of the devil. Ali D. is here," whispered Mona. My eyes grew large upon hearing this.
"What! Where?"
"You don't see her? She's right in front of you," said Mona who's still looking at me like a weirdo.
"Whateves. I'm gonna check on Sean. He's supposed to be tutoring that bitch Riley."
"Oooh, someone's caty. Did our Sean-ie boy forgot to give you some sugar?"
"Ugh, shut up Mona. I'm already annoyed as it is."
"Ugh , I hate her! Who did she think she is? How dare she put her hand on Sean's. That roach is really killing my appetite," I got up from my usual seat and went outside of the cafeteria to get some fresh air. Leaving Mona alone.
"Here. I only found this box. The journal on the other hand is...lost. I can't find it. Maybe someone took it when we put the old things at the driveway." Said some chick to the guy with beanie earlier. She was making a bubble with her chewing gum.
"Uhmm, sure. Thanks—I've always wanted to kiss a girl before," the guy said as he walked closer to the dark skinned girl. He trapped the girl against the wall with both of his hands. He then slowly, traced the girl's jawline with his index finger and stopped at the girl's jaw. Pop! The guy moved his fingers to the girl's lips. He cleaned the gum from her lips while staring at her as he slowly whispered, "Your eyes are wonderful."
O–kay! I've seen too much. I left the couple alone and went back inside the cafeteria. Mona who's still struggling with the bottle cap, greeted me.
"Hey, Hann! Did you calmed down?"
But, when she saw me with a gorilla face, she said, "What's up? Did you saw Sean with Riley again?"
I huffed in response. "Everyone's getting some action except for me! Even that guy earlier, at the hallway. Even he can score a chick!"
"You mean the guy that knocked Monty out? Uhmm, you mean Al–"
"Yes him! Why can't Sean be like him? If he wanted to kiss me, just do it. Stop being a wuss! I mean, if he wanted to touch my boobs, I'll be happy to give it to him."
"So, you're 100% sure that you saw the same guy from the hallway? You're certain, right? And...sh–he was kissing a GIRL!"
"Yes Mona! Anyway, do you know what's wrong with Sean? Do you think...I don't know. Maybe he's gay?"
No way! He's not gay! He's SO not gay! I saw the way he looked at girls. I saw the way he looked at me. He loves me, but why doesn't he wanna have sex with me? We've been going out for a year now and we barely kissed. Mona and I were walking to our next class, English. Ugh, that Fitz guy is really getting on my nerves. One look and you'll know he groped children for a living. I took the seat at middle, just the way Alison likes it. I haven't seen her since the sleepover. Anyway, what's wrong with—
"Is this English...404?"
I looked up to find Alison DiLaurentis. She was chewing something. Maybe some gum. We locked eyes. Shoot! I just took her seat. I tried to smile at her wholeheartedly. But, she turned away from me. Like I'm Medusa and if she saw me, she'll turned to stone. I sighed in defeat, 'Even my old friend didn't like me. Let alone Sean.'
The whole time, I kept my head down. I turned myself off from the rest of the world and thought of things that I want to do in the future. None came to mind.
