Ryder was standing by the main console, there were BLACK OPS men dressed in winter camouflage around.

He was listening to John's plan.

- You distract while I, Hades (in the robot body) and Ryder enter through the ventilation shaft. When we pull out the dogs, we retreat and drop the mini-nuke here. John said

- Do we have an atomic bomb here? Ryder asked

- Yes, short range.

The silence of the Siberian night was interrupted by gunshots.

As BLACK OPS and the Saviors' men exchanged bullets, John tore off the air vent, he, Hades, and Ryder got inside.

They crawled on all fours for nearly ten minutes when they finally saw the end of the tunnel.

Hades, who was in front, opened the hatch.

After scanning the exterior with a single vision processor and making sure there were no enemies nearby, it popped out.

Ryder was the last to leave and discovered that the tunnel allowed them to enter one of the warehouses.

This one in particular was quite large and filled to the brim with shipping containers and crates of various sizes.

Many of them were so high that they reached the height of a two-story building and formed the walls of a labyrinth.

More importantly, it was nice and cool here, a breath of fresh air after being locked in the tunnel.

Suddenly the whole building was flooded with low voltage light, Ryder turned to see that Hades had connected to the console and most likely turning on all systems now.

They began to move through the maze formed by high walls of crates.

Everything was quiet as they walked, neither of them making any sound.

Hades stopped abruptly and turned his head as he watched the shipping containers.

- What is? John asked

- I detected movement five meters from our position, but now it's gone. he replied.

A full minute passed and nothing happened.

- It's probably nothing like that. Let's move on.

Unanimously, the group started forward again, though they were more careful now than before.

Ryder stared to the side, and for a brief moment he thought he saw a shadow of movement.

- Has anyone else seen it?

- What? John asked

Ryder was looking at the exact same spot, but could see nothing.

He looked around quickly and found no sign of any other movement.

- Nothing ... he said at last ... it was just my imagination.

Hades suddenly stopped again and began scanning his immediate area again.

He detected another impulse of movement, this time three meters away.

They continued to move for another five minutes before Hades detected another move.

This time only two meters away.

Everyone started scanning the area, their eyes wandering around the walls surrounding them for any sign of movement detected by the mech.

But nothing was visible.

The only sound they heard was their own breathing and the ubiquitous hum of the lights.

- It's nothing ... John decided ... maybe just a rat or something.

- I will run a software diagnostics on my system. hades added.

- Fault? asked Ryder,

- I acknowledge, sorry if I have caused unnecessary anxiety

- Okay, just ...

The robotic chest suddenly burst open and a massive tail pierced his back.

Sparks shot up from the machine's open wound, his eye began to flicker, and his body twitched erratically.

Then she was slowly lifted off her feet.

- Error! Error! Error! Error! he spoke, his voice distorted by the damage.

The two , too stunned to do much beyond observation, followed the machine's body up the wall of crates.

Until it stopped right next to the hybrid's face.

Weapon X

The massive creature snarled at the robot on its tail.

Then, without warning, he tore it off its tail and tore it in half with both hands.

The upper torso was then thrown over the shoulder, while the lower half was allowed to drop back to the ground.

- RUN! Ryder screamed

But John didn't move.

His blood boiled at the sight of this abomination and cried out for bloody revenge.

He didn't know if he could win and he didn't care.

Fury greeted.

With the guttural roar of battle, he charged his head forward.

His weapon thundered loudly, but was ineffective against tough skin.

When his bullets ran out, he tossed the useless weapon aside and reached for his fists.

The tail attacked to stab John.

But he dodged the attack and hit the chest.

Both of them fell on a pile of shipping containers, which gave way under their enormous weight and speed.

John retracted his and struck the hybrid again and again and again and again he attacked the monster.

But the skin was too hard, John's attacks barely left a bruise.

The hybrid seized its chance and grabbed him by the throat.

He struggled to lift him off his feet.

John was waving helplessly in the air, unable to fight.

Meanwhile, Ryder ran faster than ever in his entire life.

He knew that fighting this monster was futile. At least for him

Running was the only option he had at the moment.

So he ran into a man-made maze, hoping to lose the monster and find his puppies.

- RRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

John's massive figure suddenly flew from the right, smashing a pile of crates and landing on the road.

John groaned and tried weakly to get to his feet.

An unearthly scream of his opponent pierced his ears as it came thundering behind John.

Admittedly, John did not give up.

He got back up as Ryder ran a different path.

Then he gave his final battle cry and attacked the beast.

It was a brave charge and it was a shame it had to be ended in such a terrible way.

The tail hit and went straight through his chest.

With impressive strength and what seemed like an almost sadistic pleasure, the hybrid raised him to his hideous face.

John coughed blood, staring into the monster's empty eyes.

He threw it, John broke through some walls and flew into the room destroying some man-sized glass container

It said 'power activator'

The hybrid smiled and ran to find the second target.
