Lucifer opens the door and finds Rory strung like an animal. This only fuels his anger more at LeMec and grows more and more when he sees several feathers missing on his daughter's wings.

"Don't take another step." The villain remarks and points the gun on Rory's temple.

Lucifer does halt, but LeMec doesn't notice him hiding a smirk as he retrieves Maze's blade, throws it as the demon would, and hits its target. With the gun on the ground, Lucifer makes his next move and strikes the man with a vicious front kick, so hard, the latter lands some meters away, unconscious.

He would have dealt him more punishment like breaking a bone or all, but his priority is to release his daughter from her restraints.

It doesn't even take much to pull the blasted things off and soon enough, the younger angel is free, a little bit dazed but nevertheless okay.

"Are you alright?" He asks while assessing if there are other damages with her wings.

"I'm good. It will grow back but we need to retrieve the ones they managed to extract - - -"

She gets interrupted when Lucifer envelops her into a hug.

"I'm glad you're okay." He says and kisses the top of her head.

They didn't notice LeMec was on his feet again, this time with one of Rory's feathers, and aimed to stab Lucifer on the back when a gunshot rang out. The impact of the bullet hitting him on center body mass knocks him off his feet and lands him directly on the set of feathers, impaling him. Her kidnapper is down for good this time.

Lucifer wants to whisper in LeMec's ear again, bring Hell to him one more time. But, instead, he lets the man speak.

"I want to see the light like he did,"

The Devil realizes the mercenary is referring to Dan and that bracelet bro of his made it to the Silver City.

"But all I see is darkness," Vincent manages to blurt out and heaves as he breathes his last.

Rory meanwhile is aiding Chloe, who's still injured and losing blood. They'd have called for an EMS, but a light surrounds the Devil's offspring, indicating that she has learned what she needs to know.

"What's happening?"

"I'm going back."

"...and that's a good thing?"

"I guess I got this time loop thing wrong. Else I wouldn't be going back. I'll see you both soon. I'm looking forward to happy days…Dad."

When she returns to her own timeline, she sees Lucifer sitting on a chair next to Chloe's bed, holding his beloved's hand. Trixie is sitting right across from him, doing the same. w

"Look who's back," The older Chloe utters, happy that her daughter learned what she had to.

As the memories merge and Rory catches on, she finds she's not angry anymore. She remembers the rebellious phase but her Dad is now in all of her memories, all the albums, all her firsts.

And surprise, surprise, she even has twin brothers, Zain and Lucian. The twins are leaning on the wall, watching their mom's final moments unfold.

She couldn't be any happier with how things turned out. Her mother may be on her death bed now but what awaits them... is eternity.

"I'm going to miss all of you," Chloe tells her children.

"Don't worry, Mommy. We'll see each other again." Trixie holds back her tears and smiles. Chloe always liked being called Mommy instead of just Mom.

"T's right, mom. We'll see you on the other side. I'm gonna wait for T though, I hope you won't mind, cause she's my favorite sister."

"I'm your only sister, R." Trixie falls right back into their sisterly banter, "of course, I'm your favorite."

"Oh, please. We both know we are your favorite sibling," Zain joins the fray, eyes watery and lips quivering a little at how sad and joyous this occasion is. Sad because their mom is going, but joyous because they know what the afterlife looks like.

"I agree." Lucian nods. "Don't worry, T. We'll wait for you."

"Well, you guys are going to be waiting for a while,"

"We don't mind, right, Rory?"

"Absolutely."

"I'm glad you're all here. I'm tired. Do you mind if I talk to your father alone?"

All the children exit the room and Lucifer and Chloe are left on their own.

"This is it my love. Eternity for us. Are you sure you want to reside and help in Hell? I don't mind going to and from the SIlver City. That's where you belong."

"I go where you go, remember? Home is where you are, Lucifer."

Lucifer sighs and kisses his beloved's hands.

"You are, as always, correct. Don't worry about the children. They are more than capable."

"I know. I think I'm ready."

Lucifer nods. Chloe takes one last look at the home they've built together over the years and closes her eyes.
