Blake had gotten permission to leave class early. She told her teacher she had to go see the nurse, when in reality she was just trying to use the bathroom without anyone being in there. She really had to go since the 2nd period and it was now the 4th. The faunus quickly went into the bathroom and rushed into the stall.
She thanked her lucky stars that no one was in there so she could stand up and use the bathroom normally. Blake unzipped her pants and pulled herself out to use the bathroom. Just as she was finishing up she heard the door opening, followed by a few voices. Blake quickly tucked herself in and flushed the toilet. She zipped up her pants and went directly to the sink without looking up.
Weiss walked, wearing her cheerleading outfit. There was a game after school that day. She really hated having to wear the uniform to school, but it was something she had to deal with, being the captain and all. She walked into the bathroom laughing with her friends as they went to touch up their makeup. She looked over at the stalls as she saw movement. She smiled softly to herself as her neighbor, and the girl who was growing on her each day, walking over to the sink.
The younger girl's demeanor changed instantly. "Get out." she told her friends. "Go use the bathroom on the other side of the school. I'll be there in a minute. I need to talk to Blake about our science project." Weiss turned around and looked at her friends, glaring slightly. The two girls shrugged and walked out. Once they were gone, the cheerleader sighed. She grabbed her mascara and started to touch it up next to Blake.
Blake put soap on her hands and didn't look up at all. She heard Weiss order the girls out of the room. She turned on the water and began to wash her hands. "Why did you do that? Aren't they your friends?" She asked as she turned the water off and grabbed a paper towel, drying her hands. Blake looked at Weiss and raised her eyebrow, "Also, what science project? You're not even in my science class..." She said with a small chuckle, shaking her head.
Weiss made sure to close the cap of her mascara bottle before turning to Blake. "Because I wanted to talk to you. Besides they're stupid. They don't know that."
The faunus looked at Weiss as she wiped her hands dry. Blake nodded her head and encouraged the girl to continue. Even unconsciously motioning with her cat ear, that Weiss found cute. "Okay. I'm listening… And what with the face?" She asked as she dropped the towel in the wastebasket.
Weiss shook her head and leaned against the sink while looking down. "I wanted to apologize. For what I said in the car last week." She had no reason to apologize but she was tired of this whole thing with Blake weighing on her mind. "So... I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?"
Blake looked at Weiss, "I mean… I don't know what I'm forgiving you for… or really, why you're even apologizing." She said honestly. She shrugged, "So, um, I guess, yeah. I, uh… I forgive you." Blake said.
Weiss smiled softly. "Just accept the damn apology, Bo." the nickname unconsciously slipped off her tongue. She was finally satisfied. She looked over at Blake and narrowed her eyes. "Thank you." She shook her head.
She looked down at the girl following their somewhat sentimental moment, "I'm just glad I was done using the bathroom when you guys came in." She said, shaking her head in embarrassment.
The cheerleader chuckled softly, "Yeah. That was just good timing on our parts, don't you think?" She smiled and turned back towards the mirror. "But you don't have anything to be embarrassed about."
Blake nodded her head to Weiss, "It definitely was." She said, her cheeks turning red as Weiss addressed her desire to use the bathroom in private. She always had to skip out of class early or show up late, just to use the bathroom when no one was around.
The white blonde had no idea why she was feeling awkward talking to Blake. The two, for the most part, had no problem communicating outside of school. She wasn't sure why she suddenly felt like talking to Blake at school, but she figured it'd be better to question it later. "So, um... when is your next game?" Weiss really wanted to go. It interested her. "I would like to go if that's okay with you." Her voice was unsure.
Blake looked at Weiss and thought for a moment, "Um. This Thursday." She said, "It starts at 7." She looked at Weiss as she shrugged, "I mean if you want to come you can. I can't really stop you, but you'll probably be the only student there, other than maybe Ruby." Blake said honestly. The brunette girl was always at the games supporting her girlfriend, Penny. Of all the girl's on the team, Blake was closest with Penny. They weren't really great friends, but it was the only semblance of a friend that the hockey player was able to make since her freshman year.
The faunus drew herself out of her thoughts and scanned her eyes over Weiss' body. She couldn't deny that the other girl was extremely attractive in her cheerleading uniform, "Do you have a game today? I'm guessing by the way you're dressed." She said, trying to keep the conversation going.
Weiss washed her hands and nodded. "I'll be there. And yeah... we have a game. We're not going to win. It's against the Tigers." She sighed and dried them off. "Will you go?" She asked softly.
Blake watched as Weiss washed her hands. She sighed softly as the girl asked her to go. She never went to the football games because she didn't have anyone to go with, "I can't make any promises." Blake said. She really had no desire to be around all of her classmates. Being in large crowds in general wasn't really her thing, but a big part of her wanted to do whatever she could to make Weiss happy. She would really have to think about going.
Weiss was hoping that Blake would want to go, but she knew the faunus… Blake didn't ever go to school events. But in her opinion, the girl needed to get out more. "I'll go to your game if you come to mine," she smirked. "I know that you usually don't go, but please? I would really love to see you there."
The hockey player looked at Weiss, feeling her resolve break… stupid crush. She really didn't want to go, but on the same token, she didn't want to disappoint Weiss. Nothing was more beautiful than the smaller girl's smile. "Fine, but I can't promise I will stay until the end." She said honestly.
Weiss nodded and smiled genuinely at the taller girl. "Cool. Well, you better go." She turned to Blake and pursed her lips into a smirk. "You need to get out more and socialize." She wrapped her hand around her purse and took a step back. "So, I'll see you in English?" She smiled softly.
Blake just watched Weiss as she shifted from side to side. She looked at the girl and nodded. "Sure." She said. It was her lunchtime, it was Weiss', too, but she always sat with the cheerleaders and football players, whereas Blake sat in the library by herself. "I'll see you in English. Have a good lunch." Blake said quietly. It wasn't like Weiss would even talk to her in English anyway. The hockey player turned to walk out of the bathroom when she was startled by a banging on the door.
Weiss heard the pounding on the door and jumped back as she heard a familiar voice. "Wei, babe! You in there?!" She heard Neptune's voice.
"I kind of want to stay here now..." Weiss rolled her eyes as she looked over at Blake. Neptune and her had been having some issues lately and the last thing she wanted to do was talk to him. Blake sent Weiss an apologetic smile before she headed to the door. Just as she was about to open it and leave, Neptune came inside.
"Why didn't you answer me?" The senior boy whined.
Blake quickly looked at the boy and back at Weiss before walking past him and out of the bathroom. The hockey player went to her locker and grabbed her lunch before heading over to the library to get a head start on her homework, or maybe enjoy the new book she was reading.
Back in the bathroom, Weiss groaned. She turned to her boyfriend when Blake left. "You are such an idiot! This is the women's bathroom! You probably just scared her!"
Neptune shrugged, "So, what? She's a loser. Besides, I come in here all the time with you to make out during lunch anyway, why would this time be any different." Weiss rolled her eyes, wondering why she even began dating him. Oh, right: he was hot, a football player, and she needed to keep up appearances. The junior sighed and grabbed the senior boy's collar before walking him out of the bathroom. She needed to figure out what to do with him.
"Babe, what's the big deal?" The older boy whined. "Let go of my jersey." He said, stepping back and smoothing it out.
Weiss shook her head as she let him go once they were out of the bathroom. "You don't walk into the women's bathroom, Neptune. Especially uninvited. You belong in the MEN's bathroom." The cheerleader couldn't stop herself from rolling her eyes at the boy. "Don't sit next to me at lunch if you're going to continue being an asshole." He slumped his shoulders and followed her towards the cafeteria.
It was going to be a long day, but all Weiss found herself wanting to do was spend more time with Blake. She really needed to figure out why this was, and quickly.
