The blackness of your mind begins to sparkles like diamonds.
Under a starry night sky, a man wearing a dark purple robe, with its hoodie pulled past his eyebrows began to cackle. "At last!" The man bellows "We have found the cave of wonders!"
A black snake that sits patiently wrapped in the man's knuckles echoes an eerie "Sssss" in excitement. To the young man casted to help find the infamous Cave of Wonders, the snake can only hiss as mother nature meant it. But to his owner, Jafar, the snake's voice speaks in his mind like the devil on his shoulder. "I can't believe it!" Iago, the snake snapped "All this time and the Cave of Wonders looks like that! Pathetic!"
"Calm yourself, Iago." Jafar pets the snake's cold skin.
Iago was right, though. The Cave of Wonders merely looks like a regular cave alongside one of Californias vast mountains. From afar the beam from multiple cars highlights the highway not far away. This cave was hidden in plain sight. To most humans, this mountain is merely a background. Another mountain towering over them meant to invoke awe at the beauty that is a mountain.
"Now what?" The young man asked, "Do we go in?"
Jafar noted a tremor in the male's voice. He's probably very confused by what is happening. It was only a few hours ago that Jafar found him in another casting call. Iago had a keen ability to sense what a human can provide for the pair. This boy with a common name, Christian, was sensed to be a wiz at figuring out puzzles, problems, and calculations.
And wow did Christian translate and solved the universal calculation to find the coordinates to the Cave of Wonders. Jafar's powerful moonstone diamond ring was worthy enough to clear and tumble the rocks from the entrance to the cave.
"I shall wait here while you go in and fetch me the Captis Red Ruby Stone." Jafar said sternly "It is a stone that's the color of fresh blood and it pulses like a heart."
Christian's nose wrinkled "Look, you wanted me to find this weird cave, that's it. You promised me I'd get the lead role of this film if I did!" His arms crossed. "And I dd."
"Well, now the deal is if you get me the stone, I'll give you the lead and I'll double your pay." Jafar said. Jafar loved the power he had. Jafar is one of the most successful music producers in the game. His ability, well Iago's ability, to sense characters also makes him a popular casting director as well.
Christian groaned. He could tell that Jafar reeks of abusive power roles. He could feel how badly he wanted to be signed that even against his intuition, he turned and enter the mysterious cave.
"Remember, grab nothing but the stone!" Jafar's voice echoed through the save "It's a cave of tricks. Stay focused!"
Christian was a chemistry major student completely entranced by the lime green stones that glowed a fluorescent light through the cave. He needed no lamp or light. While Jafar would get his stone, Christian made a mental note to come back with a group of scientists to study this unknown stone. A discovery like this could make him as famous and respected as a movie star.
The cave opened up and Christian's eyes and jaw dropped at the sudden sight of mountains and towers of golden coins and gems. The gold winked at Christian. Its scent was even of luxury.
"Oh, heavens." He gulped. How the Gods were testing him.
His legs and arms shooked with desire. Every step forward was an internal war. How Christian just wanted to leap into the pool of gold and roll around like a child on a white Christman day. The urge was so strong, he couldn't resist.
Christian grabbed a red diamond resting nearby "I'm sure this is the stone he meant." Christan told himself dismissively before lunging into the gold. He rolled around, cackling like a mania, high on wealth. He shoved dozens of gold coins in his pocket, socks, and down his pants.
His high ended when the cave started to rumble. "You've touched the forbidden treasure," a voice growled through the air.
The gold around him started to melt like butter on a pan. Gold was dropping from his pants. Christian tried to run out of the cave but he tripped under the collapsed ground and down he fell into a pool of boiling gold lava.
From outside the cave, Jafar and Iago groaned at the sight of a shaking cave and golden smoke leaking from the entrance."What a fool!" Iago yelled "We said don't touch anything and what does the boy do? He touches everything!"
Iago let out a string of curses. "Patience, Iago," growled Jafar. "At least we are one step closer to grabbing the stone. This boy was worthy of finding the cave, but not worthy of retrieving our stone."
"Oh, there's a surprise!" spat Iago "It's not like I told you that!"
"Obviously, the time to have the stone isn't meant to be. We must continue with the first part of our plan to make sure our little star hates her life so much, she's willing to let go of her body when the moon is Full under the constellation of Aquarius." said Jafar cooly "Then, we must find who can enter the cave and grab the stone. This diamond in the rough..."
