Chapter 4 – Happy Ending
WARNING – Dubious Consent – some shenanigans happen without Luke really asking for permission, and while no one is traumatized or even mad by the event, there is a share of embarrassment. See endnotes for details.

Unfortunately, because Luke was friends with the most epic party planners ever, he wasn't allowed to immediately drag Reggie back to their assigned room when they got to the beach house rental Carrie's dad had gotten for them. There was some sort of schedule for post-prom activities, and they'd spend the next day on the beach, end it by the firepit before they were forced to return to their homes and deal with the dwindling obligations that came with the end of the semester. Next year they'd be seniors, and it was a little scary to think about, but Luke brushed that off to dwell on the moment. Reggie. Lingerie. It was happening.
Like, not yet, because first they had to gather in the living room for post-prom pizza and games, because apparently they were required to play truth or dare as yet another rite of passage. It probably would have gone better if Flynn somehow in all her planning hadn't left the slips of paper with all the randomized truths and dares on them at home. Apparently they couldn't be trusted to invent their own, which… was probably not a bad point.
"I'll just look for some prompts online," Willie said, scrolling through his phone. "It'll be cool."
"I'm just annoyed," Flynn huffed, leaning into Carrie's shoulder. "All that work and I fucked it up."
"Aw, it'll still be a good night, baby," Carrie hummed before leaning over and- oh hey, they were finally kissing.
Luke was pretty sure he wasn't the only one that clapped, but he was the one the two of them glared at – but like, with fondness.
"Okay, who wants to go first?" Willie asked when the cheers had died down.
"Me!" Luke said, trying to distract himself. They'd all changed into their pajamas when they'd gotten to the beach house, and Reggie's stocking-clad feet were teasing him from where they were tucked up on the couch beside him, mostly hidden by the overlarge pajama pants Luke had lent him. "I choose dare."
"Surprise of all surprises," Willie laughed, tossing over his phone. "Hit the 'dare' button."
Like Luke couldn't figure that out for himself. Still, he appreciated the heads up and did as much, frowning at the dare that manifested.
"It says I have to go down on the person to my left," he said, watching Alex go tense and wide eyed beside him. "What does that mean?"
"Willie," Julie hissed, her eyes all narrowed as the skater scrambled for his phone.
"Sorry, I must have found a website that was geared more towards adult truth or dare," Willie offered, his face flushed. "It wasn't on purpose."
"What does 'go down on' mean?" Luke asked, turning his attention towards Carrie since the others were ignoring him.
"Eating out a girl or giving a guy a blowjob," Carrie said easily.
"Is that all?" Luke asked, turning his attention back towards Reggie. The bassist was unfortunately sitting on his right, but Luke didn't want to do anything without his say so. "What do you think?"
Reggie considered this, then shrugged. "A dare's a dare."
"Um," Alex said from Luke's left. "We don't actually have to- Luke."
His voice got all strangled when Luke slid to his knees, the brunette pushing Alex's legs wide so he could get an idea of what he was working with.
"Luke," Bobby warned, his expression unreadable.
"It's just a blowjob," Luke said before turning his attention to Alex. "Hey, have you had sex before?"
"You know I haven't," Alex hissed, half hiding his face in his hands.
"That's good," Luke hummed, because that meant he didn't have to worry about STIs as much. "Let's see what we're working with."
He slid a hand into Alex's pajama pants, groping the front of his underwear so he could get an idea of how this was going to go. Surprisingly enough, Alex was about Reggie's size, which would make this a lot easier.
"Is this actually happening?" Nick asked, sounding faint.
"It is if Alex wants it to," Luke said, belatedly remembering that very important detail from his mother's talk. Probably should have done that before he shoved a hand down Alex's pants, but he felt pretty good in Luke's palm. "Alex?"
"Oh my god," Alex groaned, his face fully hidden in his hands now.
Luke knew he was interested because he could feel Alex twitching to life, and maybe he stroked him a little on reflex, the same he would for Reggie.
"Shit," Alex hissed, his head falling back with a moan. "Luke."
"So… yes?" Luke asked, continuing to tease him. It was kind of cool to see Alex's face get all flushed.
"How about no?" Julie said, marching over to their side of the room. "You can't give Alex a blowjob, Luke, you'd only get yourself hurt, and that's discounting Alex's feelings on the matter."
"That's why I was asking him," Luke pressed, sort of annoyed that Julie would think he'd be that inconsiderate. "And I wouldn't get hurt, I've practiced."
"You've practiced?" Julie asked, her tone going all incredulous. "How?"
"Um." Oh shit, Luke shouldn't have said that. "…on popsicles?"
"Is that a question?"
"It's basically the same thing," Luke said. "I mean, sucking a popsicle, sucking a dick-"
"Pretty sure that's wrong," Julie sighed, dragging a hand over her face. "Luke-"
Further conversation was interrupted by a surprised shout from Alex, who promptly unloaded into his underwear, Luke staring dumbly as he watched the blond fall to pieces. Luke hadn't even realized he'd still been teasing the blond while they'd talked, he'd gotten so used to Reggie and his increased stamina or whatever that he hadn't even really thought about it.
But he had, and now he knew what Alex looked like when he was orgasming, had felt Alex's release soak through his underwear, the damp material squishing against Luke's fingers.
"Whoops," Luke said, feeling bashful. "Sorry, Alex."
"Shit," Alex gasped, his eyes beginning to shine with moisture. Ah hell, that was his embarrassed face, he was embarrassed now and Luke had done that.
"I'm sorry," Luke gushed, pulling his hand out of Alex's pants. "I can clean you up if you want, since I- I should have been paying more attention, but I didn't even do that much-"
"Just back off," Alex huffed, his voice tight as he got up from the couch, pushing past Luke. "I just- I need some space."
With that he was gone, Luke's heart hammering in his chest behind him.
With a sigh, Bobby got up, because Bobby was the one that always ended up fixing interpersonal band problems, especially if they were problems Luke had caused in the first place.
"That wasn't cool," Bobby informed Luke. "And we're going to talk about it later."
"Okay," Luke said, a curl of shame lingering in his stomach. He hated it when Bobby chastised him like that, it always made Luke feel a bit small.
"Hot damn," Willie sighed, dragging a hand through his hair while Bobby followed after Alex. "I'm willing to take the blame for that one."
"Pretty sure that should be entirely on Luke," Flynn countered easily. "Seriously, you think eating popsicles is the same as eating a dick?"
"It couldn't be that much different," Luke defended. "Did I ruin the game?"
"Yes," Carrie said, making Luke flinch back against the couch. She sighed. "We know you didn't mean to, and Alex does too, but you can't just do shit like that, Luke."
"Sorry," Luke said. He felt more than saw Reggie slide off the couch, the bassist settling on the floor beside him so he wouldn't have to feel small all alone. "I didn't- I just thought, you know, it's not a big deal."
"And it's not for some of us," Julie said, and he could tell she was trying to be kind, trying to be patient in the wake of Luke's fuckup the way they always were. "But for Alex, it is."
"Just…" Luke swallowed hard. "I wanted to do something nice for him."
"You always have the best intentions, Luke," Carrie sighed. "But that doesn't mean shit if you don't actually think things through, which you never do."
Because you are stupid, she did not say, but Luke heard it well enough. Heard it from classmates in the hall and teachers and the people at the library he was no longer allowed to volunteer at, because he had great enthusiasm but maybe not the best planning skills.
"That boy," he'd heard one of them sigh when he was waiting for his mom to come pick him up, Luke curled up against the side of the building because she had to rearrange her schedule. She hadn't accounted for needing to pick him up a full two hours early. "He's sweet, but there's not much there at all, is there?"
"He's dumb as a brick, all right," the older librarian muttered, Luke realizing belatedly that he must be near where they usually took their smoke break. "Don't know how far he'll get in life if he can't fix that."
"He's still young," the first volunteer replied. "He'll grow out of it."
Luke had carried that conversation around with him for years, and every time he thought he'd forgotten it, it reared its ugly head, seemingly with the lone intention of reminding him his place in life. He'd never really grown out of it, and he was beginning to think he never would.
Luke swallowed hard, trying to drag himself back to the present.
"Let's just watch a movie or something," Flynn declared, gracefully changing the subject. "Give everyone a chance to cool down."
Give Alex and Bobby a chance not to miss out on anything, because even though Bobby wouldn't really care about it, Alex would, and he was already feeling bad enough.
Luke moved on autopilot to help set up the room – cleaning up trash and refilling drinks, arranging furniture and pillows and blankets. It wasn't until the others were settling in and Willie had dimmed the lights that Reggie grabbed his hand, the bassist tugging him into the depths of the house. Luke followed him on reflex, feeling adrift, and felt his shoulders slump with relief when Reggie took them back to their room rather than attempting to search out Bobby and Alex.
"I, for one, thought that was super hot," Reggie declared when he shut the door behind them, ushering Luke towards the bed. "And you didn't ruin the game. You were just trying to do something nice for Alex, and I thought that was really sweet."
"Thanks, Reg," Luke murmured, tentatively settling down on the edge of the bed. "I um- don't think anyone else agrees with you though."
"Well, everyone else is being stupid," Reggie pressed. "Now, I have decided to reward your thoughtfulness, so just- stay here." He walked towards their en suite bathroom – the two of them managing to snag one of the few rooms that had one through a very aggressive game of Connect 4 where they'd definitely cheated. "I just need to freshen up a bit."
Whatever unease Luke felt seemed to fade away in wake of the reignited anticipation he'd been holding onto all night. "Reggie-"
"I just need a moment, big boy," Reggie's voice drifted through the door, and Luke knew the bassist had left his bag in there earlier, knew the robe was there, knew that he was about to see the full ensemble.
Oh man, he'd been embarrassed before, but now he was straight up horny, the minutes seeming to drag on like hours until Reggie finally exited the bathroom.
Fucking hell. This was- Luke wasn't a practicing Christian by any means, but he was pretty sure this was a religious experience of some kind. Fuck, did Reggie look good, the red lingerie fitting him better than Luke could have ever hoped. The robe was sheer and flowing, giving him the illusion of curves without hiding anything, and the garter belt and the stockings and-
"Heels," Luke managed to wheeze out, his brain threatening to explode. "I- you're wearing-"
"I um- went thrift shopping," Reggie said, striding forward on wobbly legs but Luke did not care, because Reggie had found high heels for him and worn them and he must have had to try on a bunch and- "It seemed to complete the look."
"L-Let me come with you next time," Luke breathed, unable to pull his eyes off Reggie. It was just- Reggie. "I want- I can hold stuff, or- I can help. I mean, that's- if you want a next time. I…" He tried to clear his throat, but it was dry. "As your not-boyfriend, I um- think it's important that I buy you as many pretty clothes as you want."
"Fuck, Luke," Reggie gasped, reaching down to palm himself, and Luke knew the panties were specifically designed to accommodate guys but just- the way they stretched around Reggie, leaving nothing to the imagination, fuck it made him so hard. "I'd… I'd be your sugar baby."
"Reggie," Luke moaned, because he was going to get destroyed without Reggie even touching him at this rate. "Please come over here."
"Sure thing, big boy," Reggie murmured with a wink, but then he was climbing into Luke's lap and-
Yeah, everything was amazing.
"You look so fucking gorgeous," Luke informed him, and he couldn't stop running his hands all over Reggie's body, teasing at boobs he didn't have and squeezing his butt, grazing his outer thighs and the line of his throat before one hand finally settled between Reggie's legs and gave him a firm squeeze.
Reggie whimpered, pressing his face into the curve of Luke's neck while he gave a needy little whine.
"Reg," Luke gasped, feeling like he could barely get enough air, everything all light headed. "Reg, can I- I want to suck you off, please."
He'd gotten eager for it earlier, and now his mouth was watering. He wanted Reggie's stocking clad legs hooked over his shoulders, he wanted to watch Reggie writhe in that pretty bralet of his, Luke wanted to see Reggie fall to pieces from his first-row seat.
"Luke," Reggie moaned, rutting eagerly into his palm. "I- shouldn't I do something?"
"You're doing very many somethings," Luke whispered against his mouth as he turned them, slowly lowering Reggie against the pillows while they traded desperate kisses. "Most of them to my dick. It's pretty awesome."
"L-Luke," Reggie gasped while Luke kissed his way down Reggie's torso, taking his time to tease the skin around the bralet, just dipping his fingers under the cups so he could graze Reggie's nipples, something that always made the bassist shudder. He lavished that quivering stomach, using every ounce of restraint he had to keep from palming himself. This wasn't about him; this was about Reggie. He wanted- needed to do right by Reggie, and just-
Mouthing at that bulge, sucking at the silky material and running his tongue against it until he could taste Reggie's salty heat beneath was entirely exhilarating. He lost his patience before too long, had to drag the waistband low to set Reggie's length free and yeah, that was it, the sight of the panties bundled underneath him, his dick wavering hard against his stomach was just- you really couldn't blame Luke for being hungry.
"Oh, oh," Reggie panted, one hand bracing against Luke's hair while the singer started to urge him into his mouth. It felt intoxicating, like all of his senses were being flooded with stimulation and it was too much but in the best way. They'd done this so many times, but it felt like more now, and maybe that was because of the lingerie or maybe it was because they'd gone to prom together, and Luke had gotten to hold his hand and take pictures with him and dance with him and the world hadn't burned down. They'd gotten to act like a real couple and it made Luke so happy he could practically fly from it, he wanted to write a dozen sappy ballads with such intensity that it scared him.
He couldn't dwell on it, so he focused on Reggie, how he felt against Luke's tongue, the sounds he was making. The bassist was pressing his lips together in an effort to stay private, but the way his hand curled into Luke's hair expressed his appreciation well enough. He tried not to rut into Luke's mouth, but Luke could tell he wanted to. Luke wanted him to as well. Luke wanted to give Reggie everything. Unlike Alex and Bobby, Reggie felt like something Luke couldn't fuck up – or if he did, Reggie would understand where he came from, because he and Reggie were borne of the same cloth.
"Luke," Reggie crooned, his length pulsing in Luke's mouth. "I'm gonna come. I- I wanna, I'm gonna-"
Luke squeezed his thighs, trying to offer his silent support. He was ready for Reggie, he'd always been ready. He'd been ready since they'd started getting dressed this afternoon. Since they'd planned this, since they'd first realized there was more to what they were doing than some basic massages.
"Luke!" Reggie gasped despite his efforts, and Luke was riding the high of the bassist's pleasure so much he couldn't really care about it. Reggie fell apart, and Luke eagerly drank it down, bobbing his head and swallowing hard until he guided Reggie through the entirety of his orgasm, until he was panting out desperate little 'oh's when Luke kept running his tongue along oversensitive skin. He loved the feel of Reggie getting soft in his mouth, and he held onto him until Reggie was gently nudging him away.
The singer caught his breath as soon as he got the chance, resting his face against Reggie's abdomen. He pressed kisses to the firm plane of his stomach, nothing with any real intent besides the chaste expression of affection.
"Was that good for you?" Luke rasped, curling possessively around Reggie's legs. "Because it was good for me."
Reggie's hand was still buried in Luke's hair, and his dick was still very much out and providing a lovely view for Luke. If Reggie's answer was something even close to positive, Luke was going to ask if he could try to get Reggie worked up again, maybe try fingering him, but before Reggie could reply-
The door shoved open, and there stood Alex, cheeks flushed and wide eyed, frozen in the doorway from shock. Bobby was behind him, and for once he seemed surprised too, which wasn't something that ever happened. Normally Luke would be feeling some amount of validation over that, were it not happening at this exact moment. As it was, Luke was too busy angling himself in front of Reggie so the bassist could tuck himself back into his clothes, the singer fumbling for something to say.
Alex got there first.
"What the fuck, guys?" he asked, his voice threatening to go all screechy and-
Yeah, that was the question of the hour, wasn't it?
"Are you dating?" Alex asked, his face flushed as he pushed his way inside the room, Bobby following on his heels.
"Um," Luke said, shifting so he could be perched on the edge of the bed before he remembered the erection he definitely still had. He floundered for a second, trying to figure out how to hide that process, and then Reggie was shoving a pillow into his lap, the bassist sitting up, redressed.
"Not officially," Reggie offered, trying to hide himself behind Luke.
"So what, you're unofficially dating?" Alex asked, Bobby still a silent spectator behind him. And like, Bobby was usually quiet, that was his thing, but now he was a little too quiet and Luke didn't know what to do with that. "Why didn't you tell us?"
"To be fair," Luke began, wishing his dick would find Alex's flushed expression a little less interesting. "You weren't supposed to find out about it."
"How does that make it better?" Alex hissed, forcing himself to keep his voice low to keep from setting off Reggie.
"Because it wasn't- we didn't expect it to go this long!" Luke insisted, Reggie's fingers curling into the fabric of his sleep shirt. "It was just supposed to be for a couple of months and now it's been like, the entire semester-"
"You guys have been dating for the entire semester?!" At that point, Alex seemed incapable of keeping his voice low. "You've been dating each other that long and you didn't think to tell us anything? You're the one that came up with the stupid, no secrets rule for the band!"
"No big secrets," Luke clarified weakly, swallowing down the threat of bile when Alex threw around the word 'stupid'.
"This is a pretty big secret, Luke!" Alex snapped. "You guys- you guys- You know we all would have loved to go to prom with people the school board would have never approved of. But you and Reggie- you got past them by being best bros, and I thought you were making a statement, like you were sticking up for us, but you were just being selfish and short-sighted like you always are!" He threw his hands in the air, seeming unable to express his frustration any other way. "Why would you even want to give me a blowjob in the first place if you're already dating someone?"
"I- I just thought you'd like it," Luke said. "And Reggie said it was okay-"
"It's not," Alex said, looking close to tears again. "It's not," he repeated, curling in on himself. "None of this is okay, Luke. None of this- what, have you just been laughing at us this whole time? Since none of us caught it?"
"Alex," Bobby said, his voice gentle as he came up behind the blond, bracing his hands against Alex's shoulders. "Just breathe for a moment, okay? Just breathe for us."
Alex shook his head angrily but did as Bobby requested, not really looking at either of them.
Bobby cleared his throat. "Why did you think it would only last a couple of months?"
"What?" Luke felt dazed, his ears ringing and chest pulling apart while Reggie shivered behind him.
"You said you thought it would only last a couple of months," Bobby reiterated. "Why did you think that?"
"Oh, um- Beyblade," Luke said, making the other two pause.
"That spinning top thing?" Alex asked, his brows furrowed in confusion.
"Yep," Luke muttered. "You said- you said we'd lose interest in it even though I promised I'd love it forever and then I- we- you were right. It was a fad, and so when we accidentally started doing this we just thought, you know, what if we- what if it was a fad?"
"And then we'd be assholes," Reggie whispered, his voice tight. "You've wanted a relationship for so long, and we didn't want to like, flaunt our whatever in your face or something. And we- we really did think it would go away Alex, and it probably still will."
"Yeah," Luke said, jumping on that to build traction. "We're the dumb ones, right? So we'll just dumb our way out of this the way we do with everything else-"
"Luke," Alex interrupted his rambling, his voice soft.
"Don't," Luke said, trying not to flinch. "You don't- you don't have to deny it or anything, we know it's true."
It felt nice to say, though Luke really didn't want to know how Alex was going to respond because maybe they wouldn't deny it and that would just make him cry way more, but that might happen anyway because he'd hurt Alex and Luke hated hurting his friends and he specially hated hurting them because he was dumb.
Reggie's forehead was pressing into his shoulder, and Luke could feel it begin to get damp, knew the bassist was trying to hide his tears.
"Guys," Bobby said, his voice careful. "You're not dumb."
"Yes we are!" Luke burst, unable to help it anymore. "All our plans are stupid and we get called idiots all the time and that's- it's fine. I mean, it's nothing I haven't heard before, but we were trying – we really were trying – not to be mean or let our dumb shit hurt you the way we always seem to end up hurting you like um- t-that time we baked you a cake for your birthday and gave you an allergic reaction or when we accidentally killed Bobby's fish because we overfed them or how Mr. Molina won't let us babysit Carlos anymore, and we hadn't even been his first choices that one time because we're fucking stupid and- and even this started stupidly!" Luke insisted, motioning to Reggie. "I was just trying to massage Reggie and I'm so fucking dumb that we started having sex with each other for like, weeks before realizing it was sex at all – so just don't- don't say we're not dumb as hell because everyone knows we fucking are, and…"
Luke ducked his head when he felt his tears finally spill down his cheeks, the brunette scrubbing at them angrily, wishing he could do better.
"Luke," Bobby said, and then he and Alex were joining them on the bed, the two taller teens doing their best to cuddle Luke and Reggie between them the same way they always did, because Luke and Reggie kept getting into messes. "You're not stupid. Neither of you are stupid. You're excitable and you don't always think things through, but you're not dumb."
"You're passionate," Alex said, nuzzling Reggie's shoulder in an attempt to coax his face away from the safety of Luke's neck. "And generous and kind and enthusiastic. And- and you're thoughtful," Alex continued, reaching up to card a hand through Luke's hair. "You noticed Reggie was hurting and you wanted to help him, and you were so worried about my feelings that you tried to keep this to yourself, but guys…" Alex hugged them close. "We love you. We love you exactly as you are and yes, you are infuriating sometimes, but that doesn't stop us from loving you with every ounce of our being the rest of the time."
"You shouldn't be afraid to tell us things," Bobby murmured. "We're not going to judge you guys whether it's a phase or not. But um- I really don't think it is, if it's been going on for this long."
"So what?" Reggie sniffed, tentatively raising his head so he could look at them. "Are we actually bi then?"
"Maybe," Bobby hummed, running a hand through his hair. "Or maybe you're pan. Or maybe you just like certain people. Sexuality's complicated, but it's also fluid. There's a lot of options out there to explore so you can find what suits you best."
"Oh," Reggie said, sounding overwhelmed. "Um… Luke, could I- could we-"
"Want to be my actual boyfriend?" Luke asked, raising one of the hands Reggie had wrapped around him so he could press a kiss to the bassist's knuckles.
"Yeah," Reggie said, leaning into his back. "Um- would that be okay, Alex?"
The blond startled, like maybe he expected Luke and Reggie to miss the slight tension in his shoulders. "I- of course, guys," he said, but it was obvious that there was something bothering him, something that kept him from holding Luke's gaze.
"Alex," Luke whispered, tone bordering on begging. "Please, just tell us."
Whatever it was they were missing, he wanted to know. Bobby seemed to already have some kind of understanding there, though he kept it to himself, forever the (small) secret keeper of the group.
"Just…" Alex dragged a hand over his face. "It's been a night, okay? One of the guys I like gave me a surprise handjob in front of all our friends and I saw another one dressed in lingerie and that was after they'd inadvertently brought on our prom revolution and um…"
He trailed off sort of awkwardly, which was good, because Luke's mind was going a mile a minute.
Reggie leaned forward. "I think he's talking about us."
"But that can't be right," Luke said, his brows furrowed. "Alex is actually a catch."
"You guys are too," Bobby cut in, his voice dark.
"You said 'one of'," Reggie spoke up. "Does that mean- is it just us or-"
Alex flushed dark. "And Bobby."
"What?" That finally seemed to surprise the rhythm guitarist. "Me? Lex, you don't have to be nice-"
"What the fuck?" Luke interrupted. "Bobs, you're a super stud, of course Alex likes you."
"I'd totally bang you," Reggie offered. "Or um- be banged by you."
"Oh man," Luke said, feeling somewhat dreamy. "That'd be- yeah."
"May I remind you guys that you're the only ones who've had sex here?" Alex muttered, and for a moment Luke thought he was referring to the beach house, but then he realized Alex meant like at all, and-
"We can always fix that," Luke said, making the others freeze. "But um- after we- yeah, talking first, so uh…" He turned to Reggie. "Can we date Alex too?"
"I mean, only if we also date Bobby," Reggie decided. "Assuming Bobby wants-"
"Bobby wants," Bobby interrupted, and then he was cupping Reggie's cheek, tilting his head back and closing the distance between them to-
Oh man, was that a pretty picture.
"Hey," Luke said, elbowing Alex lightly. "Those are our boyfriends."
"Oh my god," Alex huffed, like maybe he couldn't believe it, or maybe he was exasperated, or maybe-
He was kissing Luke, so that other stuff really didn't matter.
"Next year," Alex murmured against his lips, his hand fumbling for the pillow in Luke's lap and throwing it away. "We are all getting pictures together."
"Fine by me," Luke gasped, feeling lightheaded. "Hey, maybe I can wear the lingerie then."
"We um- both will," Reggie panted, and Luke turned to see that the bassist was entirely in Bobby's lap now. "It'll be fun."
"You guys are killing me," Bobby said, his tone strangled, but he'd change his tune later, after Luke and Reggie were done with him.
Because hey, maybe they were a little dumb, but they still had good taste in boyfriends, and they knew their hearts well enough to realize that this was one phase they definitely wouldn't grow out of.

And that's all, folks! Thanks to everyone who stuck around for this chaotic ride! Most of this was written purely for my own amusement, and I'm glad that it's brought any amount of entertainment to you guys :) If you're interested in some more Julie and the Phantoms nonsense, I'll be posting the first chapter of my next fic, working title 'Fake it 'til you Break it (then put it back together)' next Sunday.
As you can imagine, fake dating is involved. Unfortunately, it is not in the way you think ;)
Story notes:
Real talk, tried to use a random Truth or Dare thing online once and it was all just- very excessive acts of sex. That was actually one of the dares listed. Way to party hard, some people.
Don't ask me how you cheat at Connect 4, I assume it involves a lot of being humored.
WARNING – Dubious Consent – In the first scene, Luke accidentally gets Alex off without asking permission. It wasn't his intention, and Alex is more embarrassed than angry, but there is a blatant lack of communication. If you would prefer to skip this, look for the line:
"That's good," Luke hummed, because that meant he didn't have to worry about STIs as much. "Let's see what we're working with."
You can jump back in at:
"Whoops," Luke said, feeling bashful. "Sorry, Alex."
Until next time :)
