Walking down the hallway, Emily looped an arm around the shoulders of the other brunette. Emily had cleaned herself up a little bit, changing into something a little less fancy. She went from her black dress to a pair of black skinny jeans and a loose red tank top. It wasn't exactly chilly in their heated dorms.

Elle, however, was wearing something quite purely the opposite. She had on a loose floral top with a pair of white leggings. She looked very cute with her hair pulled up by a hair tie that Spencer had left over from when he had long hair.

The two of them contrasted largely. Emily was a dark, seemingly goth girl while Elle was a bright, bubbly artsy girl. They didn't look right standing next to one another.

The two girls arrived at Penelope Garcia and Tara Lewis' room, knocking on the door. However, Emily didn't bother waiting for a response as she barged in, her hand now dropped to Elle's, intertwined. They appeared to be a couple- but hadn't necessarily specified such quite yet. Either way, the physical affection was appreciated by both, even without a label.

All of the people in the small room immediately turned to look at the newcomers, and Emily examined all of them. Spencer was sitting in a corner, his knees propped up to his chest as he had a clear view of Derek, standing against the nearest wall. Penelope was sitting on the floor with her knees crossed, a stack of tarot cards sitting in front of her. Tara was laying beside Penelope, watching as the blonde explained what each card meant and how it worked.

Emily expected that was it, until she turned the corner to sit on the couch and almost fell on top of a special blonde: Jennifer Jareau. "Shit, Jayje, what the hell. Why are you even here?" Her voice sounded quite a bit more harsh than she intended, which caused JJ's eyebrows to furrow slightly. She wasn't truly angry at the blonde for being there, in reality, she did not care, but something about JJ just brought pure…she couldn't explain the emotion she had whenever she was near the blonde.

Penelope leaped up from her spot, pulling Emily into a tight bear hug. "Snugglemuffins! I haven't seen you in weeks! Where have you been, princess?" She begrudgingly let go of the struggling brunette, who turned to shoot her a glare.

"I've just been busy, okay? I'm sorry, Pen. Let's catch up tomorrow?" The blonde giggled in response, nodding, before returning back to her seat next to Tara.

Elle, however, stood awkwardly as she examined all of the new people. She had heard of each of them (From both Emily, as well as other students. Derek: the hot jock who was lowkey a man-whore. Penelope: the weird artistic witch who Elle had a good feeling she would get along with. Spencer: the cutest genius in their entire school. Tara: .. not much was known about her. She didn't attend class very often. Emily: she often heard that Emily was about to drop out, a millionaire, or a bitch. All of which did not appear to be true. And of course, her own best friend JJ.) Elle looked over at the blonde and immediately skipped over to sit next to her, leaning on her shoulder. "Hey, what ARE you doing here? Are you friends with these guys?"

JJ shrugged slightly, leaning her head back on her friend's. "I got invited by Derek. He told me it was just a child gathering with alcohol, why wouldn't I take the chance?" She nodded, holding up the beer settled in her hand.

Elle shrugged, reaching forward to take it and drinking out of it. "Yeah, that's chill. Is um… Will's not coming, is he?" Elle cracked an awkward smile, looking at the sullen blonde.

"No, Will's not coming. Will… he, we're not…" within an instinct, JJ reached up to gently touch her neck. She had done more work covering it up (with the help of Elle before she left for her date). "We're over, Elle. I… I broke up with him."

Even though Emily was in the middle of a conversation with Derek, JJ's words cut through her like a knife. Derek's rambling about some hockey game became background noise as Emily turned to look at her date and the blonde.

JJ observed Emily's reaction, and fought a smirk. Suddenly the bitchy girl who tried to act like her savior was interested in a conversation about her love life? Interesting. "Yeah, I just thought it was best. The party was the last straw, plus… you know," she glanced over at Emily who was now pretending that she wasn't listening by nodding at Morgan, but JJ could feel her glances through her side eye.

"Good, he wasn't good for you anyway, Jayje." Elle affirmed, patting JJ's hand before climbing off the couch, going over back to Emily. Now that Elle was no longer near JJ, it seemed like Emily had forgotten she existed at all. Not that she cared.

JJ rose from the couch, and sauntered over to the nerdy brunette boy, who appeared to be extremely nervous. "Hey, Spence, I just wanted to say thank you for um, for the tip. I really needed it." She said kindly, flashing the younger boy a warm smile. Spencer's gaze hesitantly flicked up the blonde, his head nodding slightly.

"Of course, JJ. I understand Emily's outbreak was most likely emotionally distracting, which was unfortunate for you. I just wanted to help out in any way I can." JJ leaned in to place a kiss on his cheek, which would normally make any boy smile, but instead he just turned to stare at her. "JJ?" The blonde shrugged her shoulders, taking a seat beside him.

"Don't worry. I know you're into Derek. I think everyone here does except for maybe Derek," she teased playfully. The boy turned to stare at her in shock, his face void of any color except for the bright blush consuming his face.

"Don't tell anyone, okay? I just discovered my feelings for myself. I have never even been in a relationship. Plus, it doesn't matter. I don't want him to find out because he's straight, then it's awkward. AND, he doesn't even know who I am." JJ cocked her head, before turning to look at the tall guy standing on the wall.

"Hey, Der! Come here, bro." Emily turned from Elle to watch Derek walk over to Spencer and JJ, curiosity clear in her face. "How are you man? How'd the game go?"

The everso confident Derek flashed the blonde a smile, before looking at the boy beside her. "Hey, pretty boy. What's your name?" Spencer's usually straight demeanor fell apart as he broke into the biggest smile anyone had ever seen come from him.

"Spencer. Uh. Reid. Uh. Spencer Reid." He swallowed heavily as the jock looked down on him, staring deeply into his eyes. "Um, Derek, right?" The guy nodded in response, before turning to look at JJ and began to conversate with her.

However, Spencer couldn't focus on what they were discussing. Instead, he was looking across the room at Emily, who was flashing him a big thumbs up. Elle was doing the same, only with an arm wrapped around the waist of his best friend instead. He appreciated their support, but he knew there was nothing he would do with Derek. That was as far as they were going to get in their relationship.

Derek, as much as he tried, could not forget the way the younger boy looked at him. The way his dark eyes absolutely lit up when he saw Derek walk over, the way his smile reached all the way to his ears. He understood why all the girls thought he was cute. He had nice features. He had slightly curly hair, with a perfect nose, along with a nice jawline. He was cute.

In a way that he felt the need to protect him, of course. He wasn't gay. He didn't like guys. Or at least, he didn't think so. Maybe he just needed to try it out. He wasn't necessarily opposed to men, he just never felt any twinge of attraction towards one.

Until Spencer turned from the side to look at him, and casted him another big smile.

Maybe it was time to experiment.

--

"Alright! Alright! Ladies, gents, and Spencer," he teased, winking at the flustered young boy. "We are going to play a good ol' fashioned round of truth or dare! If you are here, you are obligated to pay. You can have one out for the entire game, and no switching! No inappropriate dares, but stripping and kissing ARE allowed!" He announced, deepening his voice to sound like a broadcaster. "Come on, come on, let's all gather in a circle." He took the first place on the floor next to Penelope, who immediately snuggled into him. He didn't lose the look of jealousy Spencer shot in their direction.

Everyone slowly made their way to the circle, perching next to the person they felt most comfortable with. Naturally, Emily sat next to Elle, and Spencer was about to take the empty seat next to her- but suddenly, JJ was sitting there. A bit startled, Emily looked over at her friend and arched her eyebrow, unsure of what to think of JJ's placement. Spencer shrugged and sat opposite Derek, everyone slowly flooded in after that.

Derek sat quietly as the younger boy sat next to him, fighting his normal grin. Although he wouldn't call himself gay, he definietly didn't mind the way the boy smelled of almonds and vanilla. Or the way the boy's fingers tapped against his thighs as he waited for the game to begin, almost a nervous habit. Has Spencer never played truth or dare before?

Emily leaned her head against Elle's shoulder, leaning in to whisper in her ear. "What's going on with JJ? Why did she sit next to me when she could have sat next to Derek?" The other brunette simply shrugged, just as perplexed as she was.

Deciding to brush it off as just an accident, Emily avoided JJ's penetrating gaze from the side. "Okay, Der. Who starts? You?" The jock grinned in response, and nodded.

"Yep. Alright…. Penelope, truth or dare?"

The crazy blond hesitated for a moment before responding. "Dare."

"I dare you to… go out into the hallway, and scream as loud as you possibly can, the most random thing you can think of."

The girl stood up nervously, fixing her wide skirt so it fit more tightly to her body. Slowly, she exited her own dorm room and stood in the hallway, feeling all of her friends' eyes on her. "DONALD TRUMP SUCKS ASS!" She screamed, the first thing that came to mind. It was most likely due to the large Trump flag hanging on the door of her next door neighbhor. A few, "Fuck you's!" rang throughout the dorm which she chose to ignore, slamming her own door shut and running back to her seat. "That was so embarrassing."

The group of friends were laughing their heads off, even Spencer was struggling to breathe as he grabbed his stomach. Penelope, as much as she hated what she was forced to do, enjoyed the sight of her friends enjoying themselves so much.

"Okay, okay," Penelope chuckled. "Em, truth or dare?"

Alway sticking with her safety, Emily responded without even thinking about it. "Dare." She wouldn't dare having to admit something embarrassing or risk hurting someone's feelings, or even worse- admit her own feelings about people.

The blonde hesitated for a moment, before grinning. "I dare you to show everyone the tattoo on your ass." Emily froze for a moment before rolling her eyes with a slight smile.

"I'm allowed to have a skip, right?" "Yeah, but are you really gonna waste it on this? Just show us the tattoo, Prentiss." Derek cut in, helping Emily off the floor.

"Oh my god, you guys suck ass." Rolling her eyes once again, she hooked her fingers on the belt loops of her jeans, slowly wiggling the pants down her body. The entire group watched in awe, especially Elle. Elle had her jaw wide open, a blush crawling up her entire body. It was nothing Spencer hadn't seen before, so he wasn't paying attention. Derek was looking her up and down, slightly impressed with her figure. Penelope had already seen the tattoo, so she sat silently with a growing smile. JJ sat, staring at the ceiling. She refused to even look at Emily. Why would she look at her body? She was sure it was… awful, of course. Just like the rest of Emily.

Leaning over, Emily turned around to show the entire group a large ink tattoo resting on her left ass cheek. "Ok. Here you guys go, I hope you enjoyed the show." The group broke out into laughter once again, observing what exactly it was. They came upon the conclusion that Emily had gotten a tattoo of a mouse wearing a cowboy hat. "Haha, so funny," she joked bitterly, pulling up her pants back to her waist, buttoning them up once again. She took her place next to Elle, who was still sitting in shock. "You okay?" Emily said softly in Elle's ear, a bit concerned.

"I'm...fine." Elle squeaked, unable to return her looks at Emily. With a smile, Emily wrapped her arm around Elle and looked at the rest of the group, who were seemingly impressed at their bond.

JJ, however, was not so impressed. At the last moment, JJ caught a glimpse of Emily's body and could not get rid of her thoughts of it. She was jealous of how skinny she was, she wished that she looked like that. It wasn't anything else. She shouldn't be jealous in the first place, why would she be jealous of Emily fucking Prentiss?

"Alright, Derek. Truth or Dare?" Emily questioned, looking at the guy across from her.

"Dare, obviously." He said sheepishly, grinning at her.

She took a moment to think, before looking between the two guys. It was the only way they could see if Derek even had an ounce of bisexuality in his bones. "I dare you to kiss the prettiest person in the room." That's when everyone got silent. There was a debate amongst who he was going to kiss. In a strange way, Penelope hoped it wasn't her, she didn't want to ruin their bond. JJ most likely would have hit him if he even dared crawl near her, so she didn't have to worry. Emily, and Elle, were obviously off the table. Without hesitation, Derek turned to his side and pulled Reid into a kiss.

You could hear a pin drop.

Pulling away after a moment, Derek wiped his lips. "Alright. JJ, truth or dare?"

Spencer could barely breathe, staring at the floor as he tried not to focus on the tingling in his lips. He was obviously just an experiment for Derek, seeing if he could kiss a guy without wanting to throw up. But damn, did it not feel good to have Derek's hand on his thigh for even just a second, or consume the way Derek smells slightly of cigar and cinnamon. He didn't listen for a few moments, trying to fight the smile beginning to break out on his face. The guy he liked kissed him. It slowly dawned on him that it was unrealistic for him to be so happy, as Derek did not reciprocate his feelings, so he must move on. Find someone new.

Derek tried to fight the feelings breaking out in his chest by joking around with JJ, daring her to do something he couldn't even remember immediately after she said it. All he could think about was the way he felt Spencer's body tense up but soon relax into the kiss, the way Spencer stared up at him as if Derek were everything he wanted in the whole world. It didn't matter. Derek was… Derek couldn't even deny his sexuality. It didn't matter. Spencer would never like a guy like him. Spencer was smart, mature, hard-working, kind, while Derek was hard-headed, sometimes dumb, an ass, and most of all- they had very different interests.

Emily was frankly in shock that Derek had actually gone and kissed her best friend. While she was motivating Spencer to go for him, fight for him, she never expected Derek to feel the same way or at least act on some type of feeling. He expected him to kiss some other girl, maybe Tara. Maybe Penelope. Hopefully not JJ.

Not that it would matter if he kissed JJ.

The rest of the game was slightly tense as everyone tried to figure out why the two boys in the room seemed to enjoy kissing each other so much. Derek was known as fucking every girl he had ever laid eyes on (In reality, he had only ever hooked up with 2 girls and they didn't even go to the school. A lot of girls made up rumors that they did, and frankly he didn't mind: it was a compliment.) while Spencer was… almost seemed asexual.

Shortly after midnight, everyone began to pack up their things and Emily helped Elle up. "Are you going to come spend the night, or? You can. We can sleep together. Like. In the same bed." She rambled on, both the abundance of alcohol and nervousness clear in her system. Elle chuckled and pulled Emily into a hug.

"Do you mind if JJ and I spend the night? Jayje can sleep on the floor, but neither of us should drive and it's probably not safe to walk." Emily hesitated for a moment, imagining the blonde girl sleeping in bed next to her. Of course she wouldn't sleep on the bed, but for just a second, she wondered what it would be like if she did.

"I guess." She shot a glare at JJ, who was already appearing angry about the situation in general. Why would she want to go sleep in that bitch's room? She was only doing it because she enjoyed the company of Spencer, and of course.. That she was shitfaced.

The four of them made their way back to the room after saying their goodbyes, climbing in and turning the lights off. Each of them took their time getting ready for bed, one after another in the side bathroom. Spencer fell asleep within minutes, curled up in a ball as he dreamt of the events of the night. Emily and Elle climbed into bed after Elle helped make a bed for JJ on the floor, making it as comfortable as possible. Emily didn't care for JJ's comfort. She didn't need anyone's help, right?

The two girls climbed into bed together, Emily wrapping her arms tightly around Elle as she buried her face in the brunette's neck. Emily had a bad feeling it would be awhile before she fell asleep, and as Elle was the same, she felt the same way. An hour passed by, and Elle was sure JJ had to be asleep by now. Quietly, she leaned up in the bed and placed a kiss on Emily's lips, the two of them kissed for a while.

It quickly escalated to Emily slipping her hand down the body of the other girl, twisting her fingers into the panties of the other girl and doing what she could at the awkward angle to help Elle get her release. Soft breaths and a few quiet, "Emily"'s, escaped their situation but they assumed everyone was asleep so they weren't worried.

Unfortunately for JJ, she wasn't asleep. She laid on her side, facing away from the two girls. Quietly, tears poured down her face. She couldn't sob, she couldn't breathe. She just let herself cry. It wasn't out of sadness, of course, it was out of anger. How dare they do that while they had a guest? It was disgusting. Quietly, she wiped her tears away and closed her eyes, trying to block out the sound.

It didn't work.
