Nell and Eric sat down on the floor on the empty bedroom they had. Since, they had bought their house. "What kind of theme do you think the nursery should be?" Nell asked. "I always thought it'd be peaceful to fall asleep near the ocean" Eric stated. "You?" He asked Nell "I think we should paint the nursery ocean blue" Nell stated. "And there should be sunshines everywhere" Nell commented. "I agree" Eric said. They were gushing about something that hadn't even happened yet but they somehow knew it would be the best part of their lives. Suddenly, Those plans were crushed by getting a call to go to the office for a case.
AT THE OFFICE
Nell and Eric arrived at the office. Turns out They were investigating a senator's kid being held for ransom. Callen and Sam were out questioning. Well, Nell and Eric were digging deep into suspects backgrounds. Kensi came in "Anything?" She asked. "We found another Suspect" Eric said. "Her name is Alexa Jones she's an influencer and goes under the name "Lexi Jones". "She has been very outspoken about her political views" Eric stated. "She has called Senator McKenzie a communist" Nell said. "She is currently at a rally against him at the target parking lot" Eric said to him. "Great Thanks" Kensi said. "No problem Kens" Nell stated. Kensi and Deeks went out to questioning.
In Kensi and Deeks Car
"So, what are your thoughts on Nell and Eric having a baby?" Deeks asked Kensi. "I'm super excited" Kensi said. "Really?" Deeks asked "Why do you have some kind of vendetta against them having a baby?" Kensi asked half-jokingly"It some screwed up way it feels like they were the babies" Deeks said. Kensi giggled at that a little bit. Secretly, she knew the babies of the team were having a baby and it felt weird to them. Having these people who you've worked with and that have became family over the years have a kid get to watch that kid grow up and go to college and then watch that kid start a family. Finally, Kensi and Deeks got out of the car and caugh the suspect and bought her to the boat shed.
AT THE END OF THE DAY
Nell and Eric went home and Nell started ordering nursery wall art and paint for the nursery. "Eric, I started ordering stuff" Nell said while giggling a teeny bit. Eric reflected at how excited he was "Thats great" he said. "We should order cribs and car seats next" Eric said. "It would be an easier way to get the expensive things out of the way first" Nell said.
A/N I'm sorry this chapter is so short. I felt bad for not updating for so long. I promise the next chapter will be more focused on preparations for the baby. The stress of school coming up got to me and I had to write a quick chapter to satisfy you guys. I swear the next chapter will be better..
