Nell wasn't even sure she wanted a baby shower. Sure, she's been to plenty of baby showers before like friends and families and those second-cousins whom you only see one time every year at the annual Christmas party. She truly didn't know what to expect when Kensi practically dragged her out of her office to one of the rooms that nobody uses. If she had to be honest she was a little nervous at first. She didn't know what Kensi could be getting her into but when she saw what they did with the room she knew it was worth going. The room looked like it had a complete makeover with pink and girly everything. Pink paper plates. Pink balloons and decorations. Kensi, Hetty, Anna and Katherine were there and a few office staff who she was close with and got to know over the years were also there. A few "Congratulations" were spoken. Then after that, it was mostly talking lunch and games. "You guys really didn't have to do this" Nell said. "It's really no problem" Hetty said. Suddenly, she was enjoying all the attention on her. She didn't mind it. It was mostly small-talk but still it was nice to know some people outside of her friends actually liked her. Finally, it was time to open presents. Hetty's was wrapped with bubble-gum pink wrapping paper with a ribbon tied around it. She could tell everybody was trying to keep the Pink theme going. She opened it and it was a bunch of pink pacifiers with a bunch of bottles that were also pink! "I see you're trying to keep the theme here" Nell said to her. "Yep Miss Jones-Beale" Hetty said while slightly chuckling. Next, Was Kensi's present. It was Hot Pink and there also a few small presents from their kiddos. The first one was from Kensi. It was a pink teddy bear. "Keeping the Pink theme here I see" Nell said. Kensi giggled "We secretly planned it out" she said. Next, was from Rylee to make her feel "Involved" Kensi took her and Gavin shopping for their new baby "Cousin". "This one's from Rylee" Kensi said referring to the gift box that was small and rose-colored. It was some stroller links and a check from Deeks. "I told Deeks that he had to be involved" Kensi said while giggling. The rest of the room giggled along also. Then, From Gavin was a bubble machine. "Thanks" Nell said. "No problem" Kensi said. The last and final Real gift was from Fatima was wrapped in Screaming Pink Paper with some teddy bears on it. She opened it and it was some stacking rings. The acquaintances who were invited just gave her a bunch of gift cards. There were many things Nell didn't know for sure yet like what the future would hold but she knew for sure how much Annabelle was going to be loved.
