Chapter 3: Sandcastle Water Park
The next day, I met up with Sarah, James, and Henri, as well as some of my other best friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald at Sandcastle Water Park. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. First, we ate breakfast at Eat n' Park, in which I had an omelet. Then, we had a boatload of fun at the water park, including riding on all of my favorite waterslides like the Blue Tubaluba, the Tubers Towers, the Thunder Run, and the Boardwalk Blast. We also went swimming in the Mon Tsunami Wave Pool. I kept mentioning to my friends about how I wish that they would have played their dance anthems "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)" by 98 Degrees and "Into the Night" by Santana and Chad Kroeger. "This was a lot of fun, Max," Henri stated. "Thanks for inviting us to come!" "You are so welcome, Henri," Max replied. "I look forward to coming here every year." "Don't we all?" I asked. "You will like our picnic by the river, James," Justin pointed out. "I made you your favorite party treat, s'mores, because I know how much you love them." "Thanks, Justin," James replied. "I am thinking about maybe making some s'mores for our picnic in Schenley Park next month," Justin stated. "Hopefully, we will be able to come to that, but if not, there is always the Christmas party, right?" James asked. "Speaking of Christmas, I loved celebrating Christmas with my friends and family that one really good year when we opened presents and ate a nice Christmas dinner." "Do you want to know something, Sarah?" Alex asked. "What's up, Alex?" Sarah asked. "I have always loved going to Sandcastle Water Park ever since my senior trip 10 years ago," Alex stated. "That is considered to be a trip that I will never forget." "Do you girls want to know something else interesting?" I asked my friends. "This is regarding what months I think will win weather-wise this summer. 2011, which won for June, was a summer that Alex and I spent time together during, 2003, which I project will win this month, was a summer that Sarah and I spent time together during, and 2017, which won for July, was a summer that I spent time together with both of you girls during." "Oh, okay," Alex stated. "I remember that we didn't have a lot of hot weather during the summers that we were best friends, and that's all right with me because I hate extreme heat," Sarah stated. Then, we had our picnic by the Monongahela River featuring pizza, s'mores, and fruit kebabs. After the picnic, it was time for all of us to head home. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
