Act 1: So that happened

Well then, that was certainly unexpected. Who could have thought the dimwit simp actually has some potential, kind of.

*Not bad earth person, not bad*

Mattin said, still in his invisible astral form. He didn't ignore the fact that Subaru looked like he had a traumatizing experience.

"Weave"

Actual flesh began to weave itself around Mattin as he became a visible entity. He quickly paced towards the bed where Subaru was sleeping, surprising the twins as he walked by.

"We need to talk"

He said, grabbing Subaru by the collar and flying away with him, breaking the roof as a result.

"Errr?" (×2)

Ram and Rem said simultaneously as they gave each other confused looks.

Meanwhile Subaru is "softly" dropped on the grounds of the pathway leading to the mansion just a few miles away from the residence.

"Ouch! you know there's something called being nice?, you should try it sometime"

Subaru said dusting himself off.

"Just quit your ranting and tell me what you know?"

Mattin responded to Subaru.

"About what?"

Subaru asked rhetorically.

"About time going fr king backwards, I know for a fact that you're behind this, Sirius told me something was off, now I know what it means, so tell me, WHAT THA HECK DID YOU DO?"

"I DON'T KNOW"

"DON'T LIE TO ME HUMAN"

Mattin said in a demonic voice, which made Subaru fall back down in fear. It was at this moment that Mattin knew that he wasn't lying. It wasn't the fear, but the sadness in his eyes, it looked like someone who was about to lose it, and someone who was too broken to do anything at the same time.

"Okay, maybe that was too much"

Mattin said reaching out to him with his hand.

"You think?"

Subaru responded whilst grabbing Mattin's hand and using it to get up. They both began to slowly walk towards the mansion. They began to talk along the way.

"So, wanna tell me what's going on?"

Mattin asked, softly this time.

Subaru took a deep breath before speaking up.

"I don't know how, but somehow, I appeared in this world. At first I thought that huh? You know, maybe this is a sign, a sign for me to start over and be awesome, like some chosen hero. But it didn't take long for me to decipher this world's cruel side, so far, that is the only part it has shown me. It beats me down like a chef angry at his sandwich. This blessing, or curse, is an example of that cruelty, It happens everytime I die, I have to relive survival points in time, a cycle of suffering that doesn't stop until the issue at hand is resolved"

Huh?

Subaru stuttered.

"What is it?"

"Nothing, It's probably just my imagination, but I felt as if something bad was supposed to happen"

"Yeah, it probably just your imagination, anyway, if your problem is time dilation then I can't overlook it, I'll help you"

"Really, Thanku!"

"Yeah don't get your hopes up yet, right now you have to try and come up with a good excuse, look"

Mattin pointed ahead, indicating that they were close to the mansion.

"So, what are you gonna tell them?"

Mattin asked.

ACT 2 pt 1: SPIRIT GUARDIAN

Mattin and Subaru arrived at the doorway of the mansion, acting as casual as can be.

Roswaal, Ram, Emilia and Rem were already waiting for them in the entrance as they arrived.

"EMILIA!?"

Subaru shrieked.

"Subaru, where did you go? And whose this with you?"

Mattin: "Oh, hi, I am..."

Subaru: "He's my spirit guardian, yep, that... that's what he is, my spirit guardian."

Roswaal: "Hmm, I see."

Roswaal responded deminingly. Which got Mattin triggered.

Rem: "So, what can your spirit do exactly?"

Subaru froze, as he hadn't planned that far.

Subaru: "Well, he can Ahhhh um, tell you himself."

He said pushing Mattin forward.

*This dirty son of a b..., okay, it's a good thing I learnt to think ahead, I just hope Marvel doesn't sue me for this one, please forgive me Wanda*

Mattin, after being snapped out of his thoughts, responded.

Mattin: "Chaos Magic, I can use chaos Magic?"

Most of them didn't know what that was, surprisingly, but Beatrice and Roswaal, who kinda knew, where immediately struck by a subtle fear.

Rem: "Chaos magic?, what's chaos Magic?"

Beatrice: "Magic that allows one to cast and forge an infinite range of spells without use or knowledge of incarnation."

Emilia: "So it's essentially control over reality."

Mattin: "Yep. That's the one. Anyway, I think I smell some grub, I was planning to chow down, come on Vehicle man."

Subaru: "I told you not to call me that."

Mattin: "I'll call you what I want and you're gonna take it lair wrecker."

Mattin said bypassing the blockade of residents of the mansion who filled the entrance and headed to the dining table.

Ram sneezed.

1 minute later

The now 7 were sitting in the table eating quietly, Mattin on the other hand was thinking about Subaru's dilemma. Him being shifted in time through death. From a godly perspective, the implications this had were universal.

*He seems like a smart person, well of. I just hope he keeps his promise and re-inacts the mannerisms of his previous shift.*

So after Subaru sparked a lengthy conversation, everything was made clear once more, from lugnica's current situation, to Subaru being some sort of suspect and Emilia being a royal candidate.

After that, the big question was asked.

Roswaal: "So tell me Mattin, you said you possess chaos Magic, a rare magic known only through rumour and fantasy. Are you by any chance, a Scarlett witch."

The mere mentioning of the word witch was enough to spark suspicion. Mattin, fully aware where this was going, answered.

Mattin: "I think you mean 'the' Scarlett Witch. And no, trust me if it was her, it would be a different story"

Mattin looked at Subaru whilst talking.

"And this nincompoop will be erased for over simping"

Beatrice: "Then if you're not the Scarlett witch, how do you possess such powers."

Mattin: "Well let's just say Devine connection can lead to truly great achievements."

Beatrice and Roswaal exchanged a confused look, as well as the rest of the mansion.

Roswaal: "So tell me Mattin, if that is the case, then do you mind explaining to us why someone of your statue had been tasked to look after uh, that?"

Subaru: HEY!

Mattin: "Well, I'm sure this isn't surprising but I think we have all felt the darkness lurking inside him."

Everyone agreed.

Beatrice: You mean the witch's miasma?

Mattin: "Yes that. Well the 'council of heaven', sent me here to 'investigate the witch' and 'keep her in check'"

Emilia: "Mattin? why do you keep doing that funny thing with your fingers while speaking?"

Subaru: Yeah drop the air quotes man.

Mattin: Shut up.

Naruto Verse

In Konoha, Aliya and the kunoichi were hanging out, showing Aliya different places in the village before finally chilling in the hot Springs, talking about their husbands' insecurities. The only person who couldn't complain were Hinata and Sakura, their husband's were literally renown heroes.

Temari and Ino on the other hand had a lot to say about theirs.

So whilst Temari was renting about Shikamaru's laziness, and Ino about Sai's eccentric tendencies. Naruto and Sasuke were at ichiraku having awkward moments.

Naruto: "Hmmm."

Sasuke: "What is it?"

Naruto: "Usually, you'll pull out your suspicion persona."

Sasuke: "Well, you also seem trust her, despite her power and skills, plus she doesn't seem to habour any intention against the village."

Naruto: "Well, I guess? I still think her story sounds bonkers though. I can believe the other universe stuff seeing how her power has no Chakra readings, but a half god boyfriend? comeon."

Sasuke: "Speaking of gods, there's something I need to talk to you about, Naruto. Something that only we can face."

Naruto responded with a serious look on his face.

Rezero-verse

"Alright take my measurements, because a man like me can withstand all kinds of awkwardness"

Subaru said raising up his hands

"We'll measure you later"

Subaru said, now frozen in confusion.

Mattin who was just standing next to him just stood there thinking.

*Dude just died and he has time for his perveted tendencies?*

"And no Mattin, I am not a pervert"

Subaru answered, guessing that this was what he thought.

For those who were wondering what just happened, Subaru had made a request to work in the mansion, which was excepted, as for Mattin, his 'guardian', he was allowed to stay alongside him due to the 'situation'. Also, because of what Mattin had claimed about himself, him being sent by the 'gods', Roswaal and Beatrice wanted to study his mannerisms, as he had piqued their interests. They also wanted to keep Subaru, who they suspected of being a spy, at bay.

And right now, it was bath time...

Subaru and Natsuki were both in the large bath hall, sitting across each other.

"So let me get this straight, you have the power to travel back in time by dying, and you decided to call this power 'return by death'? And you've died a few times right now including 4 days from now, when someone killed you in your sleep"

"Yep, that sums it up well"

"But you don't know who that person is"

"Yep, which is why I want you to find out tonight, and take care of him"

"Okay, I can do that, and speaking of things, how are things coming along with you and the Centurion"

"Wait, what?"

Immediately, the door opened, and what emerged from it was responsible for Mattin's sudden confused expression on his face.

"What are you looking at?"

"Hie there, mind if I join you?"

"Yes I do"

Subaru quickly responded to Roswaal who was standing behind him naked.

"This facility is part of my mansion which makes it my property, therefore I'll do with it as I please"

"Why bother asking then?"

"My, how harsh, it is true that this bath is my property, but as part of my staff, are you not part of my property as well?"

Roswaal asked, now kneeling down and holding Subaru's chin. This led to Subaru biting the mansion owner.

"No hesitation at all"

"This isn't turning out how I expected too"

*Jesus Christ Subaru*

Was what ran through Mattin's mind as he was disappointed by the human's approach.

Roswaal just smirked, then turned to face the half-god, noticing his broken expression.

"What is it?"

Roswaal asked.

*So that Pennywise look of his is optional?*

Mattin said in his mind.

"Nothing, I was just wondering why you deliberately chose to look like Ronald McDonald"

"And who is this 'Ronald' you speak of?"

Roswaal asked.

Subaru: " O."

Minutes Later

The two frenemies came out of the bath. Whilst Mattin was clothed in his ordinary half destroyer half Suzanian attire, which he can summon whenever he wants, Subaru, like the smart ass person he was, came out naked in a mansion whose residents were mostly female. Ram was among the one who was least fortunate enough to gaze upon the shrunken horror located between Subaru's legs.

Unfortunately for Subaru, Ram was not one to spare your feeling with soothing words.

"Please cover up that sorry thing"

Ram said monotonously, which caused Subaru's face to develop a red tint in its cheeks as he screamed in embarrassment whilst covering his d...

Martin just laughed it off and walked towards Ram.

"What's up Ram?"

He said, raising his hand for a fist pump, a greeting that Ram oddly reciprocated to.

"What is up to you as well Mr Harmilan?"

She said giving Mattin a fist pump.

Mattin proceeded to a door that housed Beatrice's room.

"Well, if you excuse me, I have to enter transfiguration, this universe and its laws are to binding to my universal eye, I gotta let loose, smell you later pal"

Beatrice: Hey, just what do you thi...

The door shut before Beatrice could finish.

"Huh?" (×2)

Ram and Subaru said simultaneously.

Meanwhile in Beatrice's library.

"Relax, lady dwarf, I'm not gonna steal your books, I just need a room to vent off my power."

Mattin looked around and noticed they were stairs in the library's leading to an upper floor.

After that revelation, Mattin climbed up those stairs and searched the entire area until he came across found the perfect door.

"Well this looks perfect"

He went on and touched the doorway.

"Cyrius"

He opened it, and the room was completely white.

"Great, this looks like the training grounds of those two alien dufferses"

Mattin entered the room. He looked back and saw that Beatrice was following him into the room.

"Little girl, I'm about to emit an unreasonable amount of devine energy, are you sure you wanna be here when it happens"

"Don't you dare call me little, and why on earth would I be afraid of that?, and besides, this is my abode, I can be wherever I want"

"Suit yourself"

As Mattin closed his eyes, Beatrice stood next to the entrance, carefully observing Mattin.

*Erieles*

5 Minute Later

Mattin left the library, after unleashing his mother's gift upon it, which left Beatrice at a traumatised state. Although she immediately got over it when he left her sight, heading for Subaru's room.

It did leave her with one question though, how is it possible for someone like Subaru to have a god for spirit guardian?

Meanwhile, Mattin just entered Subaru's room to check on him, only to find Ram lying on his bed, with Subaru sitting at a table behind next to the bed.

"Mattin, you're a reasonable person, you know this is not what it looks like"

"Pervert"

"SUCH HARSH LAPSE OF JUDGEMENT"

Subaru answered.

"Relax shithead I'm just messing with you, just get her out of here before someone less reasonable finds her here"

"You know, you should stop calling me names"

Subaru requested.

"Oh yeah, why is that?"

"Cause you'll run out"

"Try me b "

Naruto Verse

"So tell me Aliya, have you and Mattin tied the knot, officially"

Ino asked seductively whilst rubbing Aliya's shoulders. At this point, all she could do was respond with a blush. Fortunately, Konohamaru popped up, telling her that Naruto and Sasuke needed him for something. With that scapegoat out, Aliya left the conversation.

10 Minutes later

Aliya was taking a sip of tea, processing everything that was just explained to her.

She was currently in Naruto's household, with Naruto and Sasuke sitted across her in the kitchen desk.

"So let me get this straight"

She said putting the cup down.

"This Kaguya lady was the biggest threat your world has ever faced, but she also was the nicest, she is responsible for the power you all carry, and she has siblings, some of which are more powerful than her, and are coming to eat your world, and give everyone a bad time. Is that right?"

"Yeah, pretty much"

Naruto answered nonchalantly

"And how do I fit into all of this?"

"Well setting apart the need for assistance, we also need your help with something, let's say, miniscule"

Sasuke responded.

"We want you to spar with us, just a minor scuffle, to help gadge our strength for the real battle"

Naruto replied.

"After your display of power, I could sense that you were a woman of strength, one different from ours, but potent all the same, perhaps even six paths level potent. Me and Naruto have spent over two years without facing a real challenge, we fear our strength may degrade if we don't train"

Sasuke commented.

"So what I'm getting out of this is that you guys are the only real deal here, in terms of power of course, and so far, none can challenge you, so you want me to fight you, is that right?"

"Yeah" (×2)

Sasuke and Naruto agreed simultaneously.

Aliya took another sip from her cup. She put it back down before carefully observing them, her eyes interchanging between the two.

*These guys have no idea what they're getting at, but for convenience's sake, I'll let them have this one, they do seem desperate after all*

"So, is it a yes or a no?

Sasuke inquired.

"Okay, I'm can we start?"

"Well, it's nighttime now, plus the sudden scuffle could cause panic,how about 4 days from now, when preparations have been made?"

Sasuke responded.

"Hmm, very well them, in 4 days, we will fight"

Rezero-verse

Next day, after Subaru had tried on his new clothing, he was back in business, doing a terrible job and barely helping.

All he had to do was turn the fruit, and not bleed.

Now they were simply trimming the hedges, all three of them.

And through the window, watched Beatrice. As she did that, Puck passed by, and the two began to share some sweets.

As they were doing so, Mattin passed by, wearing what looked like headphones and uhh, rapping?

"I knew that boy was a h "

"huh?"

"BlueFace baby. YEAH, YEAH"

"ALRGHT BI.."

"Beatrice, Puck, how you guys doing?, can I have some of dem sweets?"

Martin spoke, as he

"Oh hie there Mattin?"

Puck greeted.

"What's up fam?"

"No, I will not give you some sweets, not until you answer my questions I suppose"

"Oh come on, is it about yesterday?. Look, Beatrice, honey, I told you not to look didn't I?, But you didn't listen, so just give me the sweets and stop acting like you didn't choose to get terrified."

"Maybe if you had a better attitude than this I could've listened I suppose"

Beatrice replied.

"Oh really now, you're telling me about good attitudes?. You know a wise man once said that if you're an 'a' hole, it doesn't matter how right you are, people just don't wanna give you the satisfaction."

"Who said that?"

"The overseer, well, not exactly the overseer, well, technically it was his apprentice."

"Whoever is the overseer I suppose?"

"He's the kind that the verses need so much, they wish they didn't. A man whose death could lead to great prosperity or great destruction"

Beatrice and Puck gave each other frightful looks over the sudden look of seriousness that occupied Mattin's face.

"So, can I have some sweets?"

Beatrice, now unsure of how to view Mattin, just gave in to Mattin's words and offer him a sweet, as his face suddenly shifted back to being goofy-looking.

After a while, Mattin could be seen floating above the mention, talking once more on his hologram with Sirius, as they both talk about this time fracture, and the difference between it and regular time fractures as Sirius suggested universally shuttering theories.

Mattin feared for the worse over what Return by Death could do to the timeline.

After he shut down his holographic projector, he heard Subaru call him from below. He looked down and noticed that he stood with Rem, before slowly descending to the surface.

"Oh what's up Rem?"

Mattin greeted. Raising his hand for a fist pump.

"What is up to you as well Mattin?"

Rem responded.

"WHEN DID YOU TWO BECOME BUDDIES?"

Subaru loudly inquired.

"It's called diplomacy, and not being a creep helps too"

Mattin responded.

Rem: *so that's what a sick burn is*

Subaru: Okay that's it, I also demand a fist pump, and you, Mattin, are gonna help me get it.

Rem: That's low Subaru.

Mattin: Yeah listen to the lady man.

Subaru: Oh no, you've been busy spouting meme references all day making fun of them, but you're the one who gets the soft treatment? Hell no. You're my spirit guardian, so you'll do whatsoever I want whether you like it or not, hahahaha, OUCH!

Subaru crouched to the ground holding is stomach, as Mattin had just given Subaru a clean hit on his belly.

Rem: What was that for?

Subaru: Yeah Mattin, what was that for?

Subaru continued sarcastically.

Mattin didn't have the appropriate response so he just blurted out what came out the top of his head.

"Oh right, this is called the GP treatment method, it's very popular among the gods. You see, Subaru has this condition whereby he develops a god-complex or acts like an idiot beyond saving, a quick jab on his abdomen is enough to pull him out of it"

"Oh yeah, and what exactly does this GP stand for, General Prevention?"

Subaru asked angrily as he finally got up.

Mattin just smiled sheepishly.

"Of course not silly, it means Gut Punch"

That response made Subaru feel so begrudged he couldn't help it, but it all faded away when Rem started giggling.

"Come on let's go"

Subaru immediately saw what Mattin was trying to do, maybe Mattin was beginning to cave into this world, and he was finally getting to know and understand the things around him, and actually being friends. Either that or he's just rubbing his power all over their little faces.

He didn't know what it was, but Mattin had just done Subaru a huge favour with Rem, Mattin gave Subaru a high five, before telling him that he owes him.

With that, the two left for the village.

This day marked the fourth day after Subaru's arrival in the mansion, the day he was killed. It also marked the day Aliya and Naruto fought, but that fight will be revisited on the second act.

Meanwhile as Subaru, Rem and Mattin started walking towards the village. Subaru, wanting to discuss Return by Death to Mattin, without spilling the beans to Rem, decided to speak in cording.

"So Mattin, imagine a slice of bread right? and that slice could travel back in time every time it is eaten, how much trouble is this slice really causing?"

*This dude can't be serious with this*

Is what Mattin thought.

"Well Subaru, as a deity, I'll say that this 'slice' is very troublesome"

"And why is that, it really doesn't do anything that bad, it reverses all threats to it, ensuring that all problems are taken care of, and no one is hurt"

"Well, that would be the case Subaru, if going back in time could actually change the future"

"Wait, what do you mean?"

"It means the slice didn't change anything, it just got eaten, over and over"

Rem had no idea what they were talking about, but her interests in the subject were hooked, so she paid close attention, as she knew what Mattin was about to say would be pretty interesting.

"Wait, what exactly do you mean here?"

Subaru asked fearfully

"Quantum, or in this case, Time fluctuation, messes with the plank scale, which in turn triggers the Deutsch Proposition"

Rem ¢ Subaru: *huh?* (×2)

Mattin could tell just by looking at them that they were confused.

"In lamest terms, if the sandwich went back to the past, the future will deviate as it no longer exists in the same scale due to this past, now becoming the sandwich's present, which now cannot alter the future, as that future is now a save point that can be returned to. So in other words"

"The sandwich will split the world into two realities right? one where he dies, and one where he escaped that fate, or at least tries to avoid the fate"

Rem continued

"Yep, you know, you're smarter than I thought"

Rem turns away and blushes at the compliment.

"Eventually, these two worlds will slowly converge towards balance, and the results that ensues are devastating. Time paradoxes, spatial openings, reoccurring events, the overseer's law of inverse nature, it's all crazy. However there is an exception"

Mattin stated.

Mattin: Stability can be maintained if it was just a preposition, however that is not this case with this sandwich, because instead of going back in time, it erases the reality completely, leaving nothing behind but the save point itself.

Mattin said recalling how he saw how return by death eating away at the timeline.

Rem and Subaru were frightened about this news, so much so that Rem thought if changing the subject by addressing that they are here.

So as Rem was purchasing the item. Mattin was busy trying to avoid the kids, so busy he didn't notice Subaru being cursed by the puppy as he was playing with the children.

They returned back to the mansion. On the way, Subaru said something that made Rem smile, only to ruin it with his million volts pick up line, which Rem found creepy.

Rem: "Mattin, can I also use GP to treat Subaru?"

Subaru: "eek"

Mattin: "Sure, why not, go nuts girl"

Rem looks at Subaru.

Rem: "Subaru, put down the bags, I want to punch you in the stomach"

Mattin: "Listen to what she says Vehicle Man"

Subaru: "NO, AND STOP CALLING ME THAT"

That Night

So after Subaru was in bed, the effects of the curse occurred, he woke up to take a walk.

As he was walking, he felt himself getting weak, and blood started to come out of his mouth.

Suddenly, screams were heard in the background as sounds of photon blasts filtered the air. It was Mattin, fulfilling his promise.

Yes. Mattin noticed Rem about to go for the kill, and he dealt with her. He went to were Subaru was too show him the perpetrator, but when he got there, it was too late, as it turned out that he was dead.

Act 3 pt 2: Kicking Ass

Naruto-verse

10 hours ago

Aliya: "So this is where we'll be fighting huh?"

Sasuke: "Yeah"

Naruto: "Just be sure to not hold back, because we're not planning to hold back either"

Aliyah: "Trust me, I never hold back, now come on, LET'S GIVE EVERYONE THE MANGA SHOUNEN ACTION THEY NEVER ASKED FOR, COME AT ME WHEN YOU'RE READY"

With that, Sasuke and Naruto quickly dashed towards Aliyah. Aliyah just closed his eyes and focused. Making every sure that in her mind, every concentric second is slower than the previous.

Then, in a snap, she vanished before they could get to her. Before they knew it, she was in the sky shooting blades of lightning at them.

The blades flew so fast that they could barely dodge them. Naruto could just fly to her and knock her out, but he couldn't risk getting hit.

"Sasuke!"

"I'm on it!"

Sasuke used his switch ability to switch with one of Aliyah's incoming lightning blades, before forcing her to the ground using chidori.

She landed on the ground. Unbeknownst to her, Naruto awaited her, with a giant rasengan in his hand.

She barely dodged it, due to Naruto's immense speed, and the fact that it literally almost tore a piece of her clothing off.

Aliyah backed off a considerable distance. Using divine energy, she struck the ground, and rocky rubble covered the terrain. Then, using her ability, she transformed the rubble into strange lightning animals, some with wings, to aid her in holding them off while she charged up.

Sasuke and Naruto had no choice but to make sure that every beast was diffused. The numerous beasts cornered the Shinobi from every angle, forcing Sasuke to resort to his ocular power.

"Chidori: Flame Control"

Naruto on the other hand just created 20 clones and commanded them to float mid-air, where they would conjure up a jutsu to completely annihilate all the lightning beasts.

"Wind Style Rasenshuriken"

Each clone threw a rasenshuriken towards the rampaging beasts.

"Be gone!" (×20)

Naruto's clones chanted simultaneously.

The beasts were done for, but that was not the last of it, as just above the surface, Aliya stood, with a large orb of pure yellow lightning above her. Without hesitation she hailed it towards them.

The amount of volts it carried was enough to take out Naruto's clones.

She hailed the orb towards them, forcing them to ready their powerful forms, with Naruto activating six paths, and Sasuke's Rinnegan becoming purplish.

Naruto summoned six gigantic yellow arms to slow the orbs descent, while he channelled enough power in his Rinnegan, to which after he was finished.

"Shinra Tensei"

The force of the gravitational push was enough to force the orb back towards Aliya.

However, instead of being, Aliya absorbed it, and instantly created five more orbs, each bigger than the one she previously summoned and sent them their direction.

"I got this, you go take care of her"

Sasuke said.

"Got it"

Naruto disappeared, only to appear next to Aliya, were they continued to brawl, each strike causing a tremor as they exchanged fists in the air.

Meanwhile

"Summoning Jutsu"

7 Demonic beasts from hell spawned out of smoke as a result of Sasuke using the Animal path.

5 of the animals went ahead and used the Preta path to absorb the orbs before dissipating into smoke.

Sasuke looked up and noticed that Naruto had summoned Kurama's avatar, fighting what looked like a giant dragon made of yellow lightning, and he was nearly losing.

The dragon was bigger than Sasuke's Kirin. Although Sasuke did manage to use it to slow her down, before activating his Sussano.

"Catastrophic Planetary Devastation"

Rock rubble ascended from the ground to form large spherical boulders levitating in the sky. He then used Naruto's gigantic Chakra reserves to create more Kirin dragons.

Naruto on the other hand created thirty more Kurama avatars, each with a tailed beast bomb ready.

"Not bad boys, now, IT'S MY TURN"

Aliya stretch out her hands, gathering the air around him and turning it into lightning. She warped into a dragon and created even more fantastical beasts or of lightning, this time adding a little more divine energy to the lightning to make it stronger.

"RUMUSH"

"Now, come at me when you're ready!"

The boulders, the beast bombs, and Kirin all preceded towards Aliya, and Aliyah her lightning creatures.

As an extra, Sasuke and Naruto created an arrow with flames and prints of Naruto's explosive Chakra.

And sent it towards her along with the rest of the arsenals they had created.

"Oh shit"

Aliyah had just realised how devastating the explosion caused by the impact would be, so he used pure divine energy to create a field around the area, which was the vast wilderness of the Sand.

Spectating the fight was Gadara, Bee, and the Cages. They watched as the explosion created earthquakes around the area.

They couldn't feel the aftershock though, thanks to the Aliyah's shield.

After the explosions had cleared out, Naruto and Sasuke could be seen barely able to stand, as they gazed upon an unscratched Aliya descending, her body overflowing with yellow divine energy as she slowly descended to the ground.

"You were holding back weren't you Aliya's"

Naruto asked, earning a smirk from Aliyah.

"Who knows? all in all, you guys fought well, at least now I could see why my boyfriend wanted to meet you, you guys are pretty cool, I guess"

The two Shinobi returned her compliment with a smile. Aliyah looked up to the sky with a hopeful gaze.

*I just hope he realises why I wanted to meet them, and hopefully not when it's too late.*

Konohamaru, who also watched the fight, was frozen in suspense, even minutes after the fight had ended.

Kakashi was trying to calm him down by tapping shoulder, but it was barely working.

"Hey Hokage?"

Konohamaru called Kakashi.

"What is it?"

"I think I have a crush"

Okay then let's move on.

Rezero-verse

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

That was the first thing that came out of Subaru's mouth as he woke up from his second death. He was pretty sure he had terrified the crap out of the twins, who he could see being terrified in front of him, as the clasped their arms together.

She tried to apologize and reintroduce himself in an 'appealing' manner. So after this.

The dude went on to disturb Beatrice once more, a charming little girl known for her boundless sense of empathy. So with that out of the way, and by that I mean Subaru, who was once again kicked out the window of the mansion, where he fell unto the bushes surrounding the mansion.

At first his mind was all shuffled inside, but after some time, he could hear a familiar voice telling a lousy joke.

"So I look at his painting right? And he's like ' back off peasant, this is vërk of art and craft' and I'm like ' you call this art and craft, more like fart and crap' am I right, hahaha"

Emilia struggled to laugh along, as he could barely grasp the humour.

"I'm sorry but I still don't know who you are, and I'm pretty sure you hurt the man's feeling"

"What, it's not my fault he named his art 'THE GRAND EXCREMENT'"

Mattin looked at the bushes.

"Oh look, just the person I wanted to see"

He said as he saw Subaru, who was dipped in mud.

Emilia went on and greeted him in her usual calm and settling tone, and while Subaru was simping, Emilia went on to tell her how Rem had applied manure to the grass.

He went bonkers after that statement, but after a time, Emilia called him down, but no matter what you do, you can't stop a simp.

"Okay, you can stop simping and follow me"

Mattin said, grabbing Subaru and pulling him away from Emilia.

"Excuse us Madame, we'll be back shortly"

After dragging him a considerable distance, Mattin spoke to Subaru.

"Look man, I'm sorry about not saving you from the curse, that part was my bad"

"It's fine, I should have been more cautious"

Subaru answered.

"Look the good news is that I found the killer"

"Wait really? Thank God, with the murderer out of the way, I can at least protect Rem, Emilia and Ram"

Mattin gulped at Subaru's response.

Mattin: "yeah, sure thing buddy, good luck with that"

Martin said chuckling guiltily. This led to Subaru's suspicion growing.

Subaru: "Mattin, why are you talking like there was some mishap?"

Mattin: *probably cause there is*

Subaru: "Mattin who tha hell is my killer?"

Mattin: well uhhh, LOOK AN AIRPLANE!

Subaru: Really? Where?

Subaru looked up, but immediately felt like an idiot as Mattin had just 'made him look'. When he looked back down, to where he stood, he noticed that Mattin had vanished.

"Mattin?"

"MATTIN"

Subaru yelled out while searching.

"Dude, you can stop playing games now okay?"

"COME ON MAN, YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME LIKE THIS"

*Guess I'll do this on my own then*

The truth was that Mattin was actually watching over Subaru all along, just in his spirit form.

There was a reason why Mattin was so concerned. Despite Mattin being fund of earthlings, Mattin came to relate to Subaru.

When he awoke in the Dragon-verse, he wasn't familiar with the new world, so he had to try and assimilate. But fortunately for him, Mattin had power, and with the help of his uncle's knowledge, he was able to catch on easy.

However, Subaru lacks power in this strange world he is in, and this world keeps bashing him to the ground. He could just give Subaru power, but this universe keeps blocking him from doing so. Every time he tries to do anything intense, "NO" in Bill Wurtz's voice plays in his head.

So now he was gonna watch and wait for Subaru to get into trouble, then save him. And wait he did

4 Days Later

It was now dusk, and Subaru had long left the mansion. He was now having his own stakeout in the hill that Mattin had destroyed and repaired, waiting for the killer to make his way to him.

While he was talking to himself, a chain with a spiky wreaking ball almost hit him. The sound of chains, which made him fall down a hill. Fortunately, he had tied a rope around his body to ensure that it he doesn't fall.

He ran, and ran, until he could run no more, as he had come across a steep incline.

Suddenly the chains immerged once more. The figure in question, after Subaru had beckoned it to reveal itself, turned out to be Rem.

This is when Subaru realised why Mattin didn't want to reveal it.

After trying to reason with her, Subaru saw that it was futile, so he blocked her long enough to run away.

"Mattin, Mattin, comeon buddy I need your help"

"Weave"

Subaru could hear the chains drawing closer to him once more, and he was sure he was about to die, until an explosion occurred, followed by a scream.

The wave of the explosion caused him to fall to the ground, and Rem also followed suit.

Subaru stood up, noticing that he was fine. Mattin was standing right above them as he watched them struggle from the ground.

Rem stood up, with her weapon at hand. And Subaru watched as she started at him with blood lust. But before she could attack, Mattin took her arm, and forced it to drop the weapon.

"Mattin? What are you?"

"You be quiet, I'll deal with you later"

Mattin responded to Subaru.

He then turned his gaze to Rem.

"As for you, you've had your fun, but I'm afraid I cannot allow you to hurt this mortal, for he is my friend. Your luck had run out demon"

He said, raising his palm to her forehead.

"HAKAI"

Rem felt a painful surge of energy in her body, until he looked at her hands and saw that she was disappearing.

The last word she could say before fading into sparkles were...

"Ram"

And with that Rem faded from existence.

Suddenly, Subaru started crying. Not knowing what to do, he tried to what had gone wrong, and what he had to fix to ensure that he attained victory.

Mattin, at that moment, held Subaru by the shoulder and uttered only one word.

"Bullshit"

Act 3: A Slap on Your Face

A word ago.

"What did you say?"

"You heard me, I call b "

"What..."

"I gate every single word in this philosophy, weak and powerless people being dragged into harsh situations under the claim of ' teaching them a valuable lesson', I hate it. No one deserves to SUFFER, it stands against everything I stood for ever since I was awakened. Life is meaningless, reality is poison. Do you know who said that, Subaru?"

"Who?"

"It was the overseer's apprentice, but that is not the case, the point is no one has to suffer, not even bad people, and especially not you, sure you slack off, so what?, you've never hurt anyone, you just wanna chill out. But now here you are, giving it your all for a cause that shouldn't even involve you, giving your all in a world that does nothing but treat you like a trash. The universal truth is that none of this will be happening if people would just listen, to you. There is no need for you to be suffering here, there is no need for you dying over and over again, you're a human for crying out loud, and no one sees that here. But no more."

Mattin said reaching out to Subaru.

"Rise up, I'm gonna give some of my power to you, you're gonna be a god Subaru, and you're gonna judge this world as you see fit."

Subaru thought about what Mattin was saying, should he just give up and submit to Mattin plea. Or should he stay alongside Emilia and help her.

Being the most powerful being in this universe would allow him to take over and make Emilia become queen.

After Subaru had finished thinking, he reached a conclusion.

"Mattin, thank you, for understanding my pain, and for calling me, your friend, but I'm afraid I would have to decline your offer"

"Huh?"

"Look, I agree this world is scary, and unpredictable, but as a human, the biggest mistake that I could ever make is think that things could be done so easily, if it's this hard, then there is no doubt it is worth fighting for. The worst thing I could do right now is rush to conclusions. So I would take it slow, I will struggle to make amends with Ram Rem, and I will gladly simp for Emilia for all eternity, until she finally sees the contents of my heart. As for Life being meaningless, and reality being poisoned, you can never really know until you taste the cup, can you?"

Mattin didn't know how to respond to that as it was really mind bundling. So he just accepted it and smiled.

"You really are something you know that?"

"I guess"

Subaru said chuckling.

"Okay then Subaru, I understand what I must do, I promise to make it painless"

"We. I'm guessing you're gonna use that technique?"

"No, if I use HAKAI, it will not only destroy you, but it'll also destroy the one who's responsible for return by death, and I'm looking at her right now"

"Wait, you can see the witch?"

"He can see me? Just what exactly is this guy?"

" You bet you evil butt I can, I've been watching her this whole time, at first I thought it was ordinary for you to have two tangible spirits, until your previous death, when I saw the hands that erode the universe during return by death awaken in you. Speaking of which, I have a few select words for you, witch"

Mattin leaned closer to Subaru's chest.

"You best be grateful to this human for seeing you as a blessing than the curse you truly are, and if you love him like you keep claiming, you better watch out for him. You know, I used to deal with people like you, acting divine and mysterious. One of these guys by the name Beerus, we're pals now, and at the moment, she looking after my half mom on earth, you know why? Because I and he share a similar cause, we both care about humans, extremely. If he was here, you'll be dead, but I'm a pretty chilled out guy, but if my pal right here EVER wails in pain again, then I swear I will rip whatever remains of you to shreds, including everything you value in this world, I hope I made myself clear, now, I'm going to smile sheepishly, and you're gonna pretend that this conversation never happened, Are we clear? Good talk"

With that the two started took a short walk. Before stopping when they had a scream from afar, it was Ram, crying.

"So how are you gonna kill me, incineration, soul extraction"

"No, I'm gonna slap you"

Subaru halted in confusion as he took a quick look at Mattin's small hands.

"I'm sorry could you please repeat that?"

He said, this time being diminutive.

Mattin: "I said I'm gonna slap you to death"

Subaru: "Wait you ain't serious right, please tell me you're tripping"

Mattin: "Never use Hip-hop slang again, it doesn't suit you, and like I said, I'm gonna use my hand to slap you to death.

Subaru: "Really? you're gonna slap me to death?"

Mattin: "Yeah, I just said that."

Subaru: "You actually think you could kill me with those Trump-sized hands of y...(slap).
