Act 1: What's Him Name?
"I know this place"
Subaru said as he slowly opened his eyes. He kinda expected the twins to be there with their casual introduction, but it didn't take long for him to hear what looked like Rem stuttering, as if she was running out of breath.
He could also hear Ram alongside her, trying to cushion Rem in her discomfort, whilst beckoning with someone to stop. Subaru already knew who that person was.
"It's a fine day"
"People open windows"
"They leave their houses"
"Just for a short walk"
Subaru could hear him sing right next to him. He looked to his left and on the chair next to him, Mattin sat, singing.
"They walk by the grass"
"And they look at the grass"
"They look at the sky"
Mattin continued, but not out of good intention. Subaru noticed this when he looked up and saw that Mattin was staring directly at Rem's eyes. It was as if He stared directly into her soul, with his universal eye on.
Rem seemed very frightened by it, her eyes weirdly open as the poor girl couldn't even move.
"Please kind sir, let her go, I beg of you. I'll give you anything just don't harm her please."
Ram said quietly, her voice shaking, and her eyes about whirl with tears. Suddenly.
"Mattin"
Subaru said.
"Don't. Please, just leave them alone"
Mattin looked back at Subaru, then looked back at Rem before signing and releasing her from his fear casting ability.
"Leave"
Martin said, and the twins immediately ran away from the room.
"Okay, get up man, you look like shit"
"Yeah no kidding"
Subaru said laughing
"I think I'm gonna rest for a while"
He continued.
"Oh really? And what about your tough guy 'Bernie Sanders' speech before the shift?"
Mattin asked.
"Well, I guess I was trying to be cool"
Mattin gave Subaru a disappointed
"You've got issues dude"
Mattin said monotonously.
"Well, then, do you want the god powers now, the offer's still on the table y'know"
"Nah, I'm good"
"Okay then, what do you want?"
"Well, I notice you mentioning a certain character known as the overseer, mind telling me his name?"
Mattin looks up to the sky, wondering
Emilia walked into the conversation that Subaru and Mattin were having. Mattin's watch began to vibrate, finally giving Mattin a reason to leave the two alone, as Sirius was calling him.
"I'll leave you two love birds to alone, for now, I have to go"
Mattin left the room, but before he could exit the door he stood at the exit and looked Beck at the two.
"It's Rick"
Mattin said.
"What?"
Subaru inquired, asking for confirmation.
"You wanted to know the overseer's name right, well, his name, is Rick"
And Mattin left.
As he was gone, Subaru and Emilia were left in the room, alone, and with Mattin out of his line if site, Subaru was about to learn a harsh truth.
Naruto-Verse
Well then, that certainly was an eventful occasion.
Aliya and the kunoichi were chilling out in the bar and despite Konohamaru spying on her with a camera, everything else was... Uh... . Well, you know what I'll let the dialogue decide.
On second thought, I'll just tell you. Ino got drunk and began to bombard Aliya with questions of when she was planning to bang Mattin.
Act 2: The truth
Rezero-verse
A few minutes later
Mattin went back to the room after sensing more time meddling. The moment he got there...
"Hey Dude, is everything alright!?"
Mattin said, staring at Mattin, who was clasping his heart.
He immediately noticed the amount of dark leftover energy radiating from him.
"Witch!"
Mattin stretched out his hand, and with it, began to pull out Setella's soul from Subaru's chest. This was a technique from Sirius's mother.
What came out was a shadowy humanoid figure, filled with screams of anguish, in addition to Subaru's screams of anguish.
"I warned you, you sadistic simp"
Mattin said pulling even more, causing her to scream even louder. The sky outside the was slowly engulfed into darkness. Roswaal went into the room to check what was going on.
A look of fear and suspicion were the only thing that he was able to make out as he gazed upon Subaru's exorcism.
"STOP!"
Subaru screamed. And because it was him, and not the witch. Mattin ceased his actions, and spared Subaru the earthling, and the accursed witch further pain.
In that instant the half god disappeared. Leaving behind the mansion speculating, and Subaru fast asleep.
The near extraction was so powerful, that the poor human slept until the next day. When he woke up to see Beatrice, and 'blackmailed her' into offering him protection, as Mattin was now unavailable.
Next Day.
Mattin spent this day wondering about this world, checking to see if he could find anything interesting, the only thing he came across was a redhaired knight called Reinhardt.
They knew each other strength when they saw each other, who was superior, inferior, and what would result if they violently confronted each other, and so, they just called it a day.
That night, Mattin returned, to the mansions exterior. It was time for another transfiguration.
And this time, he planned to do it outside. The mansion, where they would all watch.
Meanwhile, Subaru is inside Beatrice's library, waiting for the fifth day to pass.
Three day did pass but little did he know the bad news that awaited him.
Day 5: Morning
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh"
Subaru rushed towards the room, filled with screams of sorrow.
As he got there, he was shocked to see Rem dead on the spot, her sister Ram crying over her corpse, and Roswaal and Beatrice standing aside the entrance.
Subaru, wondering why Rem was dead rushed and tried to touch her, only for his hand to be slapped away by Ram, as she earned him to lay his hand on her.
Subaru could do nothing but leave the room, not knowing what else to do, or how to react.
Before he could leave, Roswaal confronted him, and asked him if he knew anything that might help them uncover what just transpired.
Emilia, who just arrived in the room, did the same, as he held Subaru's hand.
Suddenly, sharp air pierced Subaru's right cheek. This was a result of Rem using a wind based sleep.
He sent another sharp pulse of wind, buy fortunately for Subaru, Beatrice was there to protect him and shield it from her.
Despite Beatrice trying to calm the rising conflict, Roswaal readied a magical attack.

Subaru dashed out of the room, as a giant explosion occurred.
He ran out of the Mansion, dashing towards the cliff where he died in his last shift.
Very well, I guess I could lend a hand once more.
Meanwhile
A blue portal appears in the room where Rem lay, Roswaal, at the moment was still standing in the room, looking over Rem's corpse.
Mattin looked at the corpse for a brief moment.
*I wouldn't have to deal with this if I was chilling out with the ninjas, I'm pretty sure Aliya's getting drunk right now, while I'm hear raising moral debates and sparking controversy with a very dedicated fan base, of only Rick was here*
Mattin then activated his universal eye, and touched Rem forehead. Roswaal could tell from his power that if Mattin take wanted to do something bad, he would just destroy everything to...
"Through the power of love, I grant you new life."
Act 3: You Can't Be Serious Bro
Meanwhile, Ram was about to face of with a weak Subaru, who was about to throw himself off the cliff.
"How could you possibly say that now!? Rem is already dead. WHAT GOOD WILL COME FROM LEARNING ANYTHING NOW"
"WhatsApp my mans and womaaaaans, look what came out of my eggsack"
"You're making it sound weird"
"Shut up I resurrected you"
Mattin said, conversing with a now resurrected Rem whom she was carrying as they descended down the cliff.
Ram was left with nothing but a surprised expression on his face as she went on to embrace Rem. She felt that something in her had kind of changed, whatever it was, it felt 'divine'.
"Okay so now that all is fixed, we can all drop the bedazzling, it's not making anyone happy, not by a longshot."
Mattin then walked towards Subaru. With Rem now resurrected, and Ram now in tears, the conflict had died down, and Subaru was free from Suspicion.
"Heeww"
Subaru said, taking a deep breath.
"Thanks for saving me, I gotta be honest, that was kinda close"
Subaru said.
"Of course pal always happy to help"
Mattin replied, smiling.
Subaru: "Yeah, now let's go back to the Mansion"
Mattin: "What are you talking about?"
Subaru: "What do you mean?"
Mattin: I mean you're not going anywhere, you still gotta kill yourself.
Subaru: What. WHY?
Mattin: Because convenience, and also that.
Mattin replied, pointing at Rem.
Subaru: And what does my involuntary suicide have to do with Rem?
Subaru asked sarcastically.
Mattin: Everything, divine intervention can lead to truly great things. Remember?
"Wherever I resurrected someone, their souls are stained by a piece of my divine energy, although it remains inactive until me or something else activates it. The same thing happened when I resurrected Aliya"
Mattin continued.
"And who's this Aliya I suppose?"
Beatrice intruded.
"My girlfriend"
"Have you tried the knot officially?"
Ram asked.
"SHUT UP, BOTH OF YOU"
Mattin yelled, blushing.
"You"
He said, looking back at Subaru.
"There yourself off that cliff? Now"
"Tha hell man, what was the point of resurrecting her then"
Subaru asked, annoyed.
"That was too give assurance, and now you have assurance. Now for the sake of the universe, jump off the god darn cliff"
"How is Rem throwing himself off a cliff going to fix anything?"
Rem asked.
Subaru: "Well, I Uhm..."
Mattin: "He has the ability to erode time by dying, causing him to shift to a specific point in time"
Subaru had closed his eyes, as he had expected something bad to happen, but alas, it didn't. The three residents who were there were left in a shocked state, as they could not believe what they just heard, but it does explain why Subaru had such weird mannerisms, and why he couldn't tell them anything.
Mattin: "In this case, the save point is five days from now, moments after Beatrice gave him an electrifying experience, and give days from when bluebird here tried to slit his throat"
Mattin said, and even after that, nothing happened, except Rem feeling somewhat sorry.
"Relax, you'll all forget the crap you pulled off after this"
Mattin walked towards the edge of the cliff, where Subaru stood.
Mattin: "So, what're you gonna do?"
Subaru: "I don't know, this jump looks painful man"
Mattin: "Or really now, and that didn't seem to be a bother before I came here"
Subaru: "WELL NOW IT IS, SO DEAL WITH IT"
Subaru replied.
Mattin: "Relax man, I'll just cushion the death for you, I'm sure it's gonna be fine"
Subaru: "Are you sure?"
Mattin: "Yeah, check it?"
Mattin created a dark flake with his hand. And implanted it inside Subaru's mind.
Mattin: "This should suffice, now jump before I rip your limbs of and shove then where the sun don't shine"
Mattin said.
Subaru looked at the cliff, he was about to jump. Until he stopped and started doing fake pull-ups. Which made everyone sigh.
*This dude be unbelievable*
Subaru then looked back at the cliff, turned back towards Mattin, closed his eyes, and fell, his back facing the rocky spikes below.
He fell, fell, and continued falling
And when his back was finally touching the spike, his senses where cut of from his body, and Mattin's mind flake activated, causing Subaru, in his final nanosecond, to see something that truly pissed him off, and this was it.
"Oof"
5 Days Earlier: Morning
Subaru was back in the bed, with a begrudged look on his face.
*Roblox death sound? really?Is this his version of 'cushinin it*
Subaru thought, mocking Mattin internally.
"ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS BRO?"
Subaru said getting up, with a goofy look on his face, as the twins stood once more in front of his bed.

What the hell.
(A/N) well folks, i gotta say, this was quite dark, something i didn't want to apply but had to to respect the tonality of the episode.
But it might feel rushed as well, which is my bad, also I barely had time to correct spelling mistakes like the past one. The next one definitely won't be. Either way, i hope this chapter is enjoyable to everyone.
As for the overseer reveal, who actually saw that coming. For those who still don't get it, you will, soon enough.
