CHAPTER 2
(PETER'S P.O.V)
"Hey Daddy," Lois smiled, putting down her novel, and greeted Carter, as we came through the front door. "Hello Pumpkin," Carter greeted kissing Lois on the head before sitting next to her. Before Carter could continue to speak with Lois, Meg walked in. "Hey Grandpa," Meg said cheerfully, as she stopped in front of Lois, while texting nonstop on her phone. "So Mom…" Meg finally glanced at Lois with a bored look.
"Have you ever had a threesome?," "Meg!," Lois exclaimed in surprise and embarrassment.
Meg continued to stare at Lois, with a bored look on her face, while Carter and I 's jaws were on the ground. "By your reaction, I'll take that as a no." Meg stated as she walked away heading for the stairs. "Well have you?," Carter asked Lois who simply glared at her father, as she quickly called after Meg, while I laughed at the conversation now. Where most families might have had a heart attack at what just happened, or die of shame, I for one always enjoyed these moments.
These moments were hilarious, and I wanted to recall them when I get old. To me these moments were what made our family interesting and fun. Besides, Meg is gross…
No one in our family takes her seriously. "Peter now that we are alone I wanted to ask you something," Carter spoke up since we were left alone. "I first wanted to say thank you for all your help with helping Babbs the other day, and because you did such a good job I wanted to pay for anything you wanted."
Carter stated as my eyes lit up in happiness and surprise. "It can't be all my money or a million dollars," Carter said quickly knowing very well I would overdo it. "I want seventeen clowns in a small car, meth with a little cocaine, a thong bikini, my own beer company, junk food for a year…" I continued to list like a lunatic in glee. "Peter!, Peter!," Carter exclaimed, snapping me out of it, '' I know you're excited at this opportunity, but I'm gonna give you a week to think it over, and you can have one thing. Anyway, I'm going to say hi to the rest of my grandkids," Carter said as we heard Brian and Stewie arguing in the kitchen.
I could hardly believe my luck!. Carter really changed for the better. There was a time Carter hated my very existence. As I sat in glee, my conscience started to beat me. Carter was right, I needed to think carefully about what I wanted, and not waste such a rare opportunity.
