UNDERWATER

He sucked in a quick breath before hitting the water. He told himself to stay calm. But there was no way to know when he would come up again. And the water was freezing. And he felt himself panicking.

He thrashed and fought and tried to break free so he could breathe again. But it was no use.

Suddenly, he was pulled out and he took a breath, only to be shoved back underwater.

Again he was pulled out, his hair clenched in the goon's fist. He sputtered and shivered.

"You had better talk, Hogan," Hochstetter sneered. "Before you drown."
