Chapter 5
Beth pulled away and gave a mischievous grin when she saw Optimus' confused expression on his face.
"Sorry, I'm a hugger; get used to it," Beth said as Optimus nodded and smiled.
"Your father will be angry," Optimus said.
"I honestly don't care, Optimus; he isn't my problem anymore," Beth replied.
Optimus looked at Beth. She was willing to disobey her father and save him. It touched him. It also concerned him, what would that human do to his flesh and blood for betraying him?
Savoy was pissed. His daughter betrayed him and made him look like an ass in front of his boss and friend. She was in trouble more trouble than she could ever hope to handle, and he was going to enjoy dishing out the punishment big time.
Darcy glanced over at her boyfriend and somehow couldn't help but smirk. Beth had bit off more than she could chew now, and that pleased her way too much.
"How long do you think it will take to find them?" Darcy asked.
"I will search for them both from now until doomsday," was Savoy's dark reply.
Savoy grabbed his walkie-talkie then.
"Patch into all surveillance feeds and FIND THEM, or some heads are going to roll!" Savoy shouted.
Optimus felt his tension start to rise once more. He was a terrible leader; he let his men down. He wanted to give them a new home and trust, and the humans had betrayed them... Him. He thought about Samuel James Witwicky his betrayal hit worse. He considered Sam a friend, which was how he treated friends, handing them over to evil humans.
Lennox and Epps were just as bad and General Morshower; he knew where he stood with Mearing and Galloway but the others. His holoform had been crying as humans called it, and he didn't realize it. His spark was breaking. He was losing his second home, and he was scared. He had never been afraid before... Ever.

"Optimus?" Beth whispered as his optics focused on her then.
"B...Beth?" Optimus whispered.
"Are you alright? Your crying," she asked as her fingers went to his face.
"I was thinking of the situation and my men... my family, I am such a poor leader and Prime," he said.
"No, you most certainly not, you wanted a home for your people, and you trusted the wrong people. However, that doesn't make you a poor leader or Prime; it just makes you human. You have been doing your very best don't put yourself down, understood?" she demanded.
"Yes, I understand," he whispered as he continued to try and evade Cemetery Wind and KSI along with James Savoy.
